        김정일 시대 북한의 대남기동성 정치에 관한 유형화 연구

        김정일 집권기간 동안의 북한이 핵역량을 강화하려는 시도는 국제관계에서 약소국이 강대국을 상대로 외교적 영향력을 행사하면서 국가이익을 확보하는 약소국의 외교적 기동성에 해당한다. 김정일 시대에서 한미동맹은 협력과 갈등을 반복하면서 북한의 대남기동성에도 결정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 분석되었다. 분석에 따르면, 김영삼 정부가 선택한 대북 강경노선은 한미갈등을 유발하고 북한이 ‘통미봉남’ 전략을 구사하면서 저항형 배제를 통해 기동성을 발휘하였고, 대북온건노선을 선택한 김대중 정부에 대해서는 미국의 정권교체에 동반된 한미동맹과의 협력과 갈등에도 불구하고 순응형 협력행태를 통해 실리추구형 대남기동성을 확보할 수 있었다. 그러나 대북 온건노선을 주장한 노무현 정부에 대해서는 한미갈등을 기반으로 순응하면서도 저항하는 병행적 순응형으로 기동성을 발휘한 것으로 분석되었다. 그리고 마지막으로 이명박 정부에 대해서는 대북압박공조에 대응하여 적대적 맞대응전략을 구사하면서 위협과 다변화를 통해 대남 기동성을 확보하는데 성공할 수 있었다. 이상의 내용을 토대로 김정일 시대에서 북한의 대남기동성은 북한의 외교적 역량의 산물보다는 한미동맹에 기반하고 있는 분단체제의 복합적 구조의 산물로 볼 수 있다는 결론에 도달하였다. North Korea exercised its maneuverability against South Korea during Kim Jung-il’s regime by having aligned with an adversarial power through ‘bandwagoning’ and exerted influence accordingly. From this, it can be noticed that North Korea’s maneuverability against South Korea took different forms according to changes of ROK-US alliance. Kim Jung-il pursued a policy of dialogue toward the US but isolation toward South Korea and excluded the resistant power during Kim Young-sam government. During Kim Dae-jung government, North Korea demonstrated ‘compliance cooperation.’ During Roh Moo-hyun government, North Korea took a multilateral approach. Lastly, during Lee Myung-bak government, North Korea successfully acquired its maneuverability against South Korea through ‘resistance escalation’. Thus, ROK-US alliance has been identified as a crucial factor that affects North Korea’s maneuverability against South Korea.

        2003년 국내 중증급성호흡기증후군 진료 현황 및 문제점 분석

        목적 : 2002년 말 중국에서 SARS가 발생한 이후 국내에서도 2003년 10월까지 총 3명의 추정환자, 17명의 의심환자가 보고되었다. 향후 추가적인 SARS의 유행이 우려되는 상황에서, 그간의 SARS 환자 진료에 있어서의 실질적인 준비사항, 진료 현황 등에 대한 조사를 통해 문제점을 파악하여, 향후 더 나은 대비가 될 수 있도록 개선점을 제시하고자 하였다. 재료 및 방법 : SARS로 의심되는 환자를 진료 경험이 있는 병원의료진을 대상으로 2003년 10월에 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문에는 SARS 환자 진료 시의 실질적인 조치, 진료 현황, 병실, 응급실 및 외래에서의 격리 시설과 준비사항, 보건당국의 관리와 지원에 관한 사항을 포함하였다. 결과 : 대상이 되는 22개 병원 중 17개(17/22, 77.2%) 병원이 설문에 응하였다. SARS 환자를 위한 격리실은 응급실, 외래, 일반병실 및 중환자실에서 각각 9개(9/17, 52.9%), 5개(5/17, 29.4%), 15개(15/16, 93.7%), 4개(4/16, 25%) 병원에서 음압처리가 되어있지 않은 일인실 혹은 다인실이 사용되었고, 1개(1/16, 6.3%) 병원에서만 일반병실에서 음압격리실이 운영되었다. 입원환자의 진찰 시 개인보호구의 착용은 거의 모든 의료기관에서 이루어졌다. 보건당국에서 SARS지정병원의 시설 등을 사전에 확인한 곳은 1곳(1/12, 8.3%)이였고, 14개 병원(14/15, 93.3%)에서는 보건당국에 의뢰한 검사결과를 통하 받지 못하였다. 결론 : 의료기관에서 SARS 환자용 격리실뿐만 아니라 기존의 격리실 설비 등이 미흡하였으며, 특히 중환자실 및 외래의 준비가 더욱 부족하였다. 보건당국의 의료기관에 대한 종합적인 지원이 부족하였고, 병원과의 원활한 연계가 잘 이루어지지 않았다. SARS 만이 아닌 격리를 필요로 하는 질환의 적절한 진료를 위해 향후 병원 시설의 정비와 정부차원에서의 보다 구체적이고 실질적인 대책마련이 필요하다. Background : There was an worldwide outbreak of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) originated from China in late 2002. During that period three cases of suspected SARS and 17 cases of probable SARS were reported in Korea. With the concerns about the reemergence of SARS-coV transmission, it is important to be prepared for any possibility. So, this study is aimed to analysis the past measures in managing SARS and propose the amendatory plans to improve the preparedness. Materials & Methods : Questionnaires were collected among clinicians with any experience in managing the probable or suspected SARS cases in Oct. 2003. 17 out of 22 hospitals responded to the questionnaire. The contents in the questionnaire were practical activities, personal equipments, response plans, isolation facilities in emergency centers, outpatient clinics, general wards and intensive care units, and relationship with the public health department. Results : The dedicated isolation rooms in emergency centers, outpatient clinics, general wards, and intensive care units were prepared in 9 (9/17, 52.9%), 5 (5/17, 29.4%), 15 (15/16, 93.7%), and 4 (4/16, 25.0%) hospitals, respectively. Except for one hospital that newly made negative pressure room for SARS, single or multi-bed rooms without airborne infection control were used in all the other hospitals. The personal precaution principles were kept quite well in general wards. Before the designation of SARS hospital by the public health department prior evalution to see if the hospital was suitable for managing SARS was conducted in only 1 (1/12, 8.3%) hospital. The results of laboratory diagnosis were reported back in 1 (1/15, 6.6%) hospital. Conclusions : The isolation facilities which can control airborne infection were almost deficient not only for SARS but also for other respiratory transmissible diseases. For the infection control of transmissible diseases including SARS, more investment is needed on medical facilities and comprehensive support from the public health department required.

      • 우리나라 상차림의 영양적 평가

        This study was carried out to investigate the current nutritional problems owing to the increased consumption of westernized food in Korea and also was conducted to compare the nutritional characteristics of Korean traditional meal with those of the Western diet in similar serving size. The results obtained from nutritional evaluation are as follows: 1. The percentage of calories represented by carbohydrate: lipid: protein was 65:15:20 respectively for Korean traditional meal (Table setting of 3 Chop) therefore these ratios meet the dietary recommended allowances for Koreans. 2. Nutrient values of Korean traditional 3-Chop were shown to be better balanced than those of Western diet when the nutrients of the two types of diet were estimated by similar serving sizes and calories. 3. Compared to the Korean traditional meal, most fast foods were nutritionally imbalanced especially in that most of them showed higher amounts of fats. These results show that Korean traditional meals supply ideal nutrient intakes in contrasts to the westernized diet, therefore much work remains in developing a variety of menus and standard recipes for Korean traditional meals according to the changes in diet trends as well as emphasing the importance of Korean traditional meals as part of an ideal, well-banlanced diet.

        Locoregional recurrence is the most common type of recurrence in surgical operation of gastric adenocarcinoma, and peritoneal dissemination is one of the most difficult problems in advanced gastric adenocarcinoma treatment. Because the peritoneal cavity is the most common site of the first recurrence after gastric cancer resection, intraperitoneal chemotherapy seems a logical choice for cancer chemotherapy. In this study, Mitomycin C (MMC)-activated charcoal (CH)-alginate (ALG) beads were prepared by the mixtures of CH particles adsorbed with MMC as an anti-cancer drug and aqueous alginate solution. The alginate is recognized as biodegradable, nontoxic, and biocompatible. The release of MMC from the beads in 0.1 M Tris buffer was stable and continuous until about 1 week. The MMC-CH-ALG beads can be applied in the peritoneal cavity for intraperitoneal chemotherapy since they provide a good adhesiveness on the tissue and controlled release pattern of the drugs.

      • 건톳 제조에 관한 연구

        고품질의 건톳제품을 제조할 목적으로 블랜칭 처리조건, 염도, 색도, 톳의 건조조건 등을 연구하였다. 생톳의 최적 블랜칭 조건은 열탕에서 5초간 처리하였고 이때의 염도는 1.8(NaCl%)로 68%의 염분 제거율을 보였다. 건톳 제조의 최적 건조조건은 열풍건조기로 60 에서 2시간 건조시켰을 때이다. 건톳제품의 수분함량은 10%로 조절하였고 색도는 a(-2.61), b(3.58)이었다. For process dried Hizikia fusiforme product of excellent quality, condition of blanching treatment, salinity, color, and dry condition were investigated. The optimum blanching condition of fresh Hizikia fusiforme was 5 seconds at boiling water. Salinity was 1.8(NaCl%), and effect of salinity elimination was 68%. The optimum drying condition was 2 hours at 60℃ in hot-air drying oven. Moisture content of dried Hijizia fusiforme product was control to 10%, Color was a(-2.61), b(3.58).

        H9c2 심근 세포주에서 외인성 nitric oxide가 허혈에 의한 세포 독성에 미치는 영향

        Background: Nitric oxide(NO) is known to have protective effects on an ischemic heart and to exert triggering effects on ischemic preconditioning. However, the effects of NO during the ischemic period have not been investigated. To investigate the role of exogenous nitric oxide in a model of ischemic heart cell death, we studied the effects of ischemic preconditioning and ischemia in a normal and an ischemic buffer. Methods: Rat cardiac myoblast cells(H9c2) were cultured in a normal and an ischemic buffered medium. For the ischemic culture of heart cells, the cells were cultured in a dessicator with GasPak for 5 hrs. In ischemic preconditioning, the cells were pretreated with ischemic buffer for 5 min and then perfused with normal medium for 30 min. For the measurement of the cytotoxicity, a MTT(3-4-Sdimethylthiazol-2-yl-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide) assay was performed. A DAPI(4',6-diamidino-2-phenylindole dihydrochloride) staining procedure and a flow cytometry analysis were performed to confirm apoptotic cell death by ischemia. Results: Cell viability, as determined by using a MTT assay, showed that the preconditioned group treated with NO showed more cell death than with the not-preconditioned groups in both normal and ischemic buffers. But, In normal medium and not-preconditioned groups, NO showed protective effect according to the concentrations(100,1000μM) . No treatment with NO produced the different results. In normal medium, the protective effect of ischemic preconditioning was demonstrated, but no protective effect of ischemic preconditioning could be seen in the case of the ischemic buffer. The DAPI staining and flow cytometry analysis of heart cells showed characteristic apoptotic features. Conclusion: NO added in the ischemic phase had deterious effects on heart cells. Ischemic preconditioning was more harmful than ischemia alone. The toxicity of the cells was characteristic apoptosis.

      • 피로를 유발하는 등속성 수축시와 회복기 혈중젖산 및 외측광근의 EMG Power Specturm 변화

        To examine the change of blood lactate concentration, EMG power spectrum, and Torque during fatiguing isokinetic contraction and recovery phrase, 6 sprinters performed maximal isokinetic knee extension at angular velocity of 3.14 rad.sec??(180°sec??) to 75% decreasing point (25%PT) using CybexⅡ system. In exercise phase, there was significant correlation between the decrement of peak EMG and median frequency and that of torque, and decrement of torque was greater than that of EMG . In recovery phase, EMG was restituded as normal value rapidly in a minute, but torque was restituded more slowly, and blood lactate concentration increased gradually from 50%PT to 3 minute after recovery. As a result of this study, it is suggested that muscle fatique due to decreasing of metabolic substrate and accumulation of metabolic products in peripheral site of muscle, and that inhibitory factors act neuromuscular junction in the end of exercise from rapid restitution of EMG in recovery phase.

      • 有機態 燐酸과 칼슘의 葉面撒布 및 灌注處里가 배(Pyrus pyrifolia N.) 樹體生育과 果實 品質에 미치는 影響

        To establish the system of orchard fertilization the study was to carried out by foliar spray and fertigation with organic calcium and phosphate in the five year old 'Youngsan' pear trees (Pyrus pyrifolia) planted in Kochang, Chonbuk. The five hundred times diluted solutions of organic calcium and phosphate were sprayed on the surface of pear leaves at intervals of 7 to 10 days from June 1 to August 31. Also five hundred times diluted solutions of organic calcium and phosphate were fertigated under the canopy at intervals of 7 to 10 days from June 1 to August 31. The calciums treatments with foliar spray as well as feritgation increase leaf size on twigs and shoots. Meanwhile organic phosphate treatment showed smaller leaf size in shoots and large on twigs. Calcium content of leaves was higher by the treatment of foliar spray and fertigation. Phosphate content of leaves was much higher by the treatment of organic phosphate. In inorganic substance of fruit peel tissues, calcium content was high by the treatment of organic calcium + phosphate. On the other hand phosphate content in flesh of fruit was high by the treatment of organic phosphate. Fruit weight and firmness were increased by the treatment of organic calcium. Soluble solid was high by the treatment of organic phosphate.

        분리 대두단백질 섭취와 염분 제한이 Streptozotocin으로 유도된 당뇨 흰쥐의 혈청 지질 수준 및 신장기능에 미치는 영향

        This study was performed to investigate the effects of isolated soyprotein and salt (NaCD restriction on the serum lipid and the kidney functions of streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats. Sprague-Dawley males of normal and streptozotocin -induced diabetic rats were raised for 6 weeks divided into 4 groups each according to protein sources and salt levels. The sources of protein were isolated soyprotein and casein. Salt levels tested were 0.1% (normal) and 0.01% (low). The results are summarized as follows: kidney weight. blood glucose, hemoglobinAlc, GFR and urinary protein of diabetic groups were higher than those of normal groups. Isolated soyprotein lowered total lipids, triglycerides, and total cholesterol in serum and plasma angiotensin It concentration as well as alleviated kidney enlargement and GFR in diabetic rats. Salt restriction didn't affect serum lipid level but decreased GFR and increased angiotensin Ⅱ concentration. In conclusion, isolated soyprotein decreased serum lipids, plasma angiotensin Ⅱ concentration, kidney enlargement and GFR, while salt restriction increased plasma angiotensin Ⅱ concentration. The results suggest that isolated soyprotein and salt restriction seem to cause different effects on plasma angiotensin Ⅱ concentration and that isolated soyprotein might be of value in the prevention of diabetic artherosclerosis and diabetic hypertension.
