        지하철의 사상사고 및 운전장애 분석에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to analyze death injuries and operation troubles of urban transit. No difference was shown in death rates between Line 1 of Pusan urban transit and Line 5, 7, and 8 of Seoul metropolitan transit. And relief time by another train did not depend upon the number of crews. We concluded that thorough inspection and preventive maintenance of trains and facilities are necessary for safe and timely service of urban transit.

        고 규소강에서 규칙상 소멸조건에 관한 연구

        The ordered phase was tried to disappear in 6.5% Si steel to reduce the power loss and enhance the economic interests. They were prepared by the conventional casting or spray forming method, and they were investigated using the transmission electron microscopy(TEM). The variation in the methods of preparing the specimen did not result in any difference in suppressing the ordered B2 phase in the Fe-Si binary system. It was almost impossible to suppress this ordered phase keeping the silicon level as high as 6.5% even after the heat treatment at 1000℃ for 24 hr or after hot rolling. It was necessary to change the silicon level and control the cooling rate to prevent the ordering reaction, especially, in cooling after heat treatments. The silicon level of 5.8% was obtained as a maximum desirable value.

        한국에서의 Human T-Cell Leukemia Virus Type-1(HTLV-1)에 대한 혈청학적 및 역학에 관한 연구

        Type-C retrovirus, human T-cell leukemia virus type-l(HTLV-1), has been shown to be associated etiologically with adult T-cell leukemia, which is an endemic disease in southwestern parts of Japan. We examined the seroepidemiological characteristics of antibody to adult T-cell leukemia virus associated antigen (anti-ATLA-antibody) by the indirect immunofluorescent assay and ELISA from the healthy individuals and various diseased patients in the Republic of Korea, a country adjacent to Japan in which HTLV-1 is endemic. The results were as follows. 24 out of 9,603 individuals(0.25%) were seropiositive. The positve rate was 0.17% in males and 0.36% in females, the sex difference was female predominent relatively. HTLV-1 carriers were found 16 individuals in Seoul, 5 in Kyonggi area, 1 in Chungnam and Jonbuk, respectively, but found only 1 individual in Busan city and Jaejoo area close to southwestern parts of Japan. Positive rate to anti-ATLA-antibody seemed to be high in older age, especially at the 50s(0. 4Yo). In conclusion the prevalence rate of anti-ATLA- antibody seemed to be very low in the Republic of Korea adjacent to Japan in which HTLV-1 is endemic and no patient with adult T-cell leukemia has been found as yet. Also we noted that the Republic of Korea is not an endemic area to HTLV-1.

        Trip 형 고장력강판의 인장성질 및 점용접성

        The effects of retained austenite and carbon content in the retained austenite on the tensile strength-elongation balance and spot weldability of TRIP high strength steel sheet have been investigated. The retained austenite of granular type increased with increasing intercritical annealing and austempering temperature, and film type was increased with the increase of austempering time. The volume fraction of retained austenite increased with 'decreasing intereritical annealing temperature, and the maximum value was obtained at austempering temperature of 400℃. The values of tensile strength-elongation balance increased with decreasing intercritical annealing temperature and maximum value was obtained at austempering temperature of 400℃. The maximum value of tensile strength-elongation balance was obtained at a retained austenite content of about 12%. Tensile shear strength of the specimens with retained austenite was higher than that of the normalizing specimens. With increasing welding current and time, the tensile shear strengh and nugget diameter increased, while nugget thickness showed the peak value and then decreased. The optimum range of welding condition at the given welding pressure of 350kgf was 7-11㎄ and 10∼15 cycles.

        급성 심근경색증 초기 진단에 latex 응집을 이용한 혈청 myoglobin 측정의 임상적 의의

        We evaluated the diagnostic usefulness of latexagglutination test for elevated serum myoglobin as a screening test in the early phase of acute myocardial infarction and 21 patients with chest pain mimicking acute myocardial infarction were included in this study. Result was compared with serum myoglobin level measured by radioimmunoassay (RIA) in every case. The Following results were obtained: 1) When serum myoglobin levels measured by RIA below 85ng/㎖ were regarded as normal, this test showed sensitivity of 82%, specificity of 95%. 2) In latex-agglutionation test for elevated serum myoglobin, test results were interpreted as negative, weakly positive and positive. If we regard weakly positive tests as positive, sensitivity was 93% and specificity was 62%. In contrast, if we regard weakly positive tests as negative specificity rose to 100% while sensitivity reduced to 75%. 3) Agreement rate of both test was k=0.59. It is suggested that latex-agglutination test for elevated serum myoglobin is helpful in ruling out acute myocardial infarction when test result is negative, and that it can be used as a screening test in the early phase of acute myocardial infarction because of its rapidity and simplicity in performing the procedure.

        암에르고미터 운동시 여유심박수에서의 신체작업능력(PWC%HRR)을 이용한 최대산소섭취량 추정에 관한 연구

        암에르고미터 운동시 여유심박수에서의 신체작업능력(PWC%HRR)을 이용한 최대산소섭취량 측정에 관한 연구 운동과학. 제 9권 제 1호. (1)-(12), 2000. 본 연구의 목적은 암에르고미터 운동시 여유심박수에서의 신체작업능력(PWC%HRR)을 이용해 최대산소섭취량(O₂_(max))을 추정하는데 있어 그 타당성을 보는데 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 건강한20대 남자 대학생(21.1±2.77)20명이 참가 하였다. 이들의 안정시 심박수는 5분간 EKG로 측정되었고, 최대산소취량은 암에르고미터에서 50rpm의 속도로 20W에서 운동을 실시하고 매 3분 간격으로 10W씩 증가시켜 피험자가 탈진시까지 운동을 지속시켰다. 여유심박수 계산에 있어서 최대심박수는 수식(HRmax = 210 - age)으로 계산되었다. PWC%HRR의 계산은 점증부하 운동상에서 120≤R≥160의 범위에 발견된 HR과 O₂의 관계식(Y=bx+a)에 의하였다. 강도별 상대적 백분율 범위는 50∼85%사이였으며, 비교대상은 PWC%HRR, O₂R, O₂_(max)이었다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다 첫째, %HRR과 O₂R, O₂_(max)간의 회귀분석결과 %HRR은 O₂_(max)보다 O₂R에 가까웠다. 둘째, 각 강도별 PWC%HRR과 O₂R, O₂_(max)간에는 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없었으나, PWC%HRR은 O₂_(max)보다 O₂R에 보다 가까웠다(P<.05). 셋째, O₂_(max)의 실측치와 PWC%HRR = O₂R에 의한 추정치 사이에는 모든 강도에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었으나, 상관관계는 PWC%HRR에서 가장 높았다(P<.05). 이상의 결과를 종합해 볼 때 암에르고미터 운동검사 과정에서 만족할 만한 O₂_(max) 발견하지 못했더라도 최소한 60%HRR에 해당하는 심박수가 발견될 때까지 운동을 수행하였다면 일련의 방식에 의해 O₂_(max)의 추정이 가능하다고 본다. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the validity for estimation of maximal oxygen uptake through PWC%HRR during Arm Ergometer Exercise. The subjects of this study were 20 healthy males(21.2±2.77yrs) college students. Resting heart rate of subjects were recorded by EKG for 5min. the maximal oxygen uptake was determined until subjects were exhausted. The first stage was performed 50rpm, 20W, and then was increased by 10W every 3 minutes on the arm ergometer. HRmax was determined by a numerical formula of HRmax = 210-age. PWC%HRR was assessed by relative equation (Y=bX+a) of HR and V˙O₂ observed in range 120≤R≥160 during the exercise test. Range of relative percentage was between 50% and 85%, comparison factor was examined among PWC%HRR, % V˙O₂R and % V˙O₂_(max). The results of this study are as follows : 1) Result of the regression analysis among PWC%HRR, % V˙O₂R and % V˙O₂_(max), %HRR was equivalent to % V˙O₂R rather than V˙O₂_(max). 2) No significant difference was observed among PWC%HRR, % V˙O₂R and V˙O₂_(max) in the all intensity, But the PWC%HRR was closer to % V˙O₂R rather than V˙O₂_(max)(P<.05). 3) No significant difference was the actual V˙O₂_(max) and the estimation value by PWC%HRR = % V˙O₂R in the all intensity, and the correlation analysis was the most correlated at the estimation value by PWC%60HRR. It was concluded that if the satisfactory V˙O₂_(max) was not found in Arm Ergometer exercise test but heart rate corresponded to 60%HRR, V˙O₂_(max) can be estimated by a series of equation.

        인공판막 재대치험예에서의 판막실패의 양상

        In order to observe the aspects of prosthetic cardiac valve failure, we analyzed 26 cases of Redo operation among 1081 cases of valve replacemant performed from Jan. 1961. to July 1986. The results are as follows; 1) Crude Redo operation rate was 2.4%. 2) The most common cause or prosthetic cardiac valve failure was the primary tissue failure (73%) 8r the PVE was the 2nd (15.4%). 3) Mean valve implantation time was 47.7 months. Implantation time in the child group was shorter than in adult by 6.8 months, In the primary tissue failure group (19 cases) implantation time in the child was 42.8 months 8z in adult, 66.8 months. (P$lt;0.05) In conclusion, the durability of tissue valves was significantly decreased in the child age group because of increased propensity for calcification, so the preference of tissue valves especially in this age group should be reconsidered.

        제 2 형 당뇨병에서 미세혈관 합병증과 대혈관 합병증의 대비

        Background: Type 2 diabetes is a heterogeneous disease. As to its complications, microangiopathy predominantly develop in some patients while macroangiopathy is more predominant in others. Therefore, this study was performed to identify the factors associated with such dissociation. Methods: Type 2 diabetic patients were classified into the macro and microangiopathy groups by carotid intima-medial thickness (IMT) and the presence of severe diabetic retinopathy. Patients with IMT ≤ 0.83 mm and severe NPDR or PDR were assigned to microangiopathy group; those with IMT 0.84 mm and no diabetic retinopathy were assigned to macroangiopathy group. Of 95 patients studied, 14 were classified as microangiopathy group and 20 as macroangiopathy group. Results: When the microangiopathy and macroangiopathy groups were compared, the microangiopathy group were significantly younger at the time of examination and at the onset of diabetes, and had longer duration of diabetes. Percentage of patients receiving insulin treatment was significantly higher and plasma C-peptide significantly lower in the microangiopathy group. However, HDL-cholesterol levels were significantly lower in the macroangiopathy group. Furthermore, the multiple logistic regression analyses revealed that younger onset of type 2 diabetes was an independent factor that was associated with the acceleration of microangiopathy. Conclusion: This study suggests that the age at onset of diabetes is an important independent risk factor that is associated with predominant development of microangiopathy in type 2 diabetic patients.
