This study examines the insulation coating technology of Fe–Si–Cr powder via selective oxidation annealing, which oxidizeselements selectively by controlling the oxidation potential. The study calculated the oxidation driving force of Fe, Si, andCr, and conducted a thermodynamic analysis of oxidation and reduction conditions according to temperature and oxidationpotential. Based on the results, a selective oxidation annealing was performed in an atmosphere in which Fe is reduced andonly Si and Cr are selectively oxidized. The oxidation potential was controlled through the partial pressure ratio of hydrogenand water vapor. The XPS analysis results confirmed that a Si and Cr complex oxide layer formed on the powder surfaceafter the selective oxidation annealing. Afterward, withstanding voltages were analyzed to evaluate the insulation property. Then, the withstanding voltage of the powder applying the selective oxidation annealing increased significantly comparedto that of the initial powder. Further analysis showed that the powder annealed in an air atmosphere had a significantly lowersaturation magnetic flux density than the initial powder, while the powder applying the selective oxidation annealing hadonly a slightly reduced saturation magnetic flux density.

Purpose: To compare the clinical outcomes between the open posterior approach and arthroscopic suture fixation for displaced posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) avulsion fractures.Methods: A literature search was performed on MEDLINE, EMBASE, and the Cochrane Library databases. The inclusion criteria were as follows: papers written in English on displaced PCL avulsion fractures, clinical trial(s) with clear description of surgical technique, adult subjects, a followup longer than 12 months and modified Coleman methodology score (CMS) more than 60 points.Results: Twelve studies were included with a mean CMS value of 72.4 (standard deviation, 7.6). Overall, 134 patients underwent the open posterior approach with a minimum 12month followup, and 174 patients underwent arthroscopic suture fixation. At final followup, the range of Lysholm score was 85–100 for the open approach and 80–100 for the arthroscopic approach. Patients who were rated as normal or nearly normal in the International Knee Documentation Committee subjective knee assessment were 92%–100% for the open approach and 90%–100% for the arthroscopic approach. The range of sidetoside difference was 0–5 mm for both approaches.Conclusions: Both arthroscopic and open methods for the treatment of PCL tibialside avulsion injuries resulted in comparably good clinical outcomes, radiological healing, and stable knees.
단일 전력단 능동 클램프형 고주파 공진 인버터에 관한 연구

This paper presents active-clamp type high frequency resonant inverter with single-stage. The proposed topology is an integrated circuit of active-clamp type high frequency resonant inverter with boost converters having the function of power factor correction. The input stage of the full-bridge boost rectifier works in discontinuous conduction mode(DCM) with constant duty cycle and variable switching frequency. Hence a high power factor operation is achieved naturally. By adding active-clamp circuit to conventional class-E high frequency inverter, main switch of inverter part operates not only at Zero-Voltage-Switching mode but also reduces the switching voltage stress of main switch. Theoretical analysis in converter part is performed with Psim 4.1 software tool and in inverter part is generally evaluated by using normalized parameter and characteristics values based on characteristics estimation through circuit analysis is given as basis data in design procedure. Also, experimental results are presented to verify theoretical discussion. This proposed inverter can be practically used as a power supply in the fields of induction heating applications, DC-DC converter, etc.

In recent years, gonorrhea has been pandemic and remains one of the most common STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae(PPNG), we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the Venereal Disease Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by menas of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. In 1998, 93 strians of N. genorrhoeae were isolated, among which 60(64.5%) were PPNG. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul, which had been decreased to 39% in 1996 after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, is increased to 64.5% in 1998.

The Process Safety Management (PSM) by the Law of Industry, Safety and Health has been performed for preventing major accidents of chemical plants since 1996. In terms of preventing chemical accidents more precisely, it is essential to develop a tool for quantitative risk assessment. For this, KOSHA (Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency) developed an Integrated Risk Management System (IRMS) . The system is designed to assimilate data on chemical plant hazards from external database, to integrate these data with location information (topographic and demographic), and to make them user-friendly accessible. The system consists of several main functions: display of five major Korean petrochemical complex layout, display of equipment layout with its information utilizing the external database, zonation of the hazard effected area with consequence analyses, the most probable accident scenario generation, accident/incident database and calculation of frequency of accident using equipment reliability database, etc. The highlight of IRMS is to provide the risk contours using GIS(Geographical Information System) technology. IRMS is intended to manage hazardous installation more systematically and effectively, to reduce the number of accident remarkably, further minimizing production loss in the plant. The system is now under application to about 500 PSM sites as well as and emergency authorities in Korea by KOSHA (Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency)

우리가 주식으로 하고 있는 쌀이나 곡물들은 대부분 색채 선별기(color sorter)를 이용하여 선별하고 있다. 이러한, 색채선별기의 성능을 좌우하는 것은 선별력이라 할 수 있고, 선별력을 좌우하는 가장 중요한 요소는 광학 선별 센서이다. 곡물을 선별하는 방식으로 포토센서 선별방식과 CCD 센서 선별방식으로 나눌 수 있다. 대부분의 시스템에서 CCD 센서 선별방식이 포토센서 선별방식보다 많이 사용되는데 그 이유는 많은 양의 원료를 한꺼번에 선별할 수 있기 때문이다. 기존 CCD 센서 색채선별기는 일정한 선별구역을 나누어 구역마다 영상신호 레벨차를 구별하여 선별신호를 보내는 데, CCD 센서의 동작에 있어서 보정 전의 영상신호는 렌즈로 기인한 프레임을 중심으로 하여 바깥쪽으로 구부러져 마치 배가 튀어 나온듯한 배럴(barrel)왜곡 현상이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 마이크로 컨트롤러를 사용하여 이미지 센서에 검출된 왜곡 영상에 대한 보정을 할 수 있는 CCD 영상 보정회로시스템을 구현하고자 한다. We are doing to the food or corn and are assorting a color sorting machine. To decide the performance of such color sorting machine is the sorting technique. Most important element which controls the sorting technique is an optical sorting sensor. The method to assort the corn has the photo sensor method and CCD sensor method. CCD sensor is used much in most systems than a photo sensor method, because, it can select raw materials of much quantity at once. Existing CCD sensor color sorter sends sorting signal distinguishing a video signal level car in area dividing fixed sorting area, as long as relationship video signal hides by lens before revision in action of CCD sensor, because ship bounds hors awry laying stress on frame, one barrel (barrel) distortion phenomenon happens. In this paper, we proposed the CCD image compensation system using micro controller which can be compensate for detected distortion image in image sensor.

In this paper, we propose the optical circulator using OADM(opticaladd-drop multiplexer) and consider its output characteristics bycomputer simulation. The results obtained by computer simulation,show that the proposed optical circulator operates in WDM wavelengthranges (1530nm -1560nm) well.

본 논문은 특 고압(17 - 50 kV AC) 권선형기기의 부분방전신호 검출을 위한 80pF 에폭시-마이카 커패시터를 설계하고 시뮬레이션 하였다. 유전체를 마이카로 하고 전극을 연박으로 하여 각각 1매씩 교대로 적층하여 단위 커패시터를 병렬 연결한 병렬 커패시터 로 하였다. 요구되는 커패시턴스와 최대 내전압을 고려하여 병렬 커패시터 의 직렬연결 수를 정하고 각 병렬 커패시터 간의 절연을 위하여 격리 마이카 시트를 삽입한 후 와 사이를 직렬로 연결하였다. 고전압 마이카 커패시터의 설계 및 시뮬레이션을 위하여 HFSS(High Frequency Structure Simulator)를 사용하였다. 단위 커패시터를 병렬 연결한 커패시턴스 는 1948[pF]로 계산 결과인 1662[pF]를 만족하는 결과를 얻어낼 수 있었다.
