The acid value (AV) as well as the ester value of essential oil is an important index to evaluate quality of essential oil. The official standard analytical method of KS H ISO 1242 dealing with “Essential oils - Determination of acid value” was assessed experimentally using two lavandin essential oils obtained in France as an example. One French lavandin oil sample showed the results of AV= 0.9 by both indicator method and potentiometry. Another sample showed AV = 1.9 by indicator method and AV = 1.6 by potentiometry. Latter lavandin oil sample exhibited significantly higher acid value than maximum value of 1 described in the standard. This result suggests that latter lavandin oil was contaminated, because this oil was contained in an orange juice bottle. Results of this study proved that KS H ISO 1242 could be used as a suitable scientific standard for the determination of acid value of essential oils.

근육형 남성의 기성복 맞음새에 관한 조사 연구 : 재킷 및 팬츠를 중심으로

Recently the interest of health and the men against the outward appearance increases to follow and the men where the muscle advances are increasing and these ready-made clothing the problem occurs in the bird which hits. Specially, it is preferred 20ㆍ30 men in the center, Character casual suit of slim line is becoming the problem where the new problem which the case muscular men hits is big more. This research serves the purpose of providing the basic material needed for clothing design and development by surveying clothing companies and clothing repair shops about fitting problems and consequent repair methods that arise when muscular men wear Character casual suit of slim line ready-made jackets and pants. The following conclusion was drawn from the research. 1. When muscular men whose body shape is altered due to their larger muscles tryon jackets, the overall chest width is too small so the seams around the chest area curl up. The shoulder and arm muscles make the armhole area uncomfortable, and there are undesirable horizontal wrinkles in the back neck area. When trying on pants, there are many cases where the ratio of the waist, thigh, and hip sizes are out of balance. In size selection and wearing it is difficult it appeared with the fact that it undergoes. 2. The male in the character casual brand the repainng fund ratio which is caused by with the muscular men consumer 59% case whole repairing fund ratio of the jacket and the pants appeared with the fact that it accomplishes to a case 42%. When the jackets are sent for repair to suit the specific body shape, in many cases customer chooses the right size for the shoulder and chest areas and mend the waist size accordingly(16%). There are cases in which the chest width is enlarged to prevent the curling up around the chest area due to larger chest m uscles(10%). There are also cases in which the back width is enlarged due to the larger back muscles(9%). The repair quantity was even 1 inch degree and the vibrating circumference or shoulder width was possible and with the fact that it does not repair. 3. Pants are manufactured based on the size chart that focuses on the waist size, so men select their pants according to their waist sizes. However, when muscular men wear pants that fit on their waists, Gluteus maximus(Big buttocks muscle) with Rectus femoris(leg straight muscle) it is caused by with advancement, they find that the thigh and the hip areas are too tight and that the width of the pants legs is too small. Therefore, they tend to buy pants that fit on their thighs and hips, then mend the pants to make the waist size smaller. 4. Case of jacket repair waist circumference it reduces and or the case rear center which will reduce the whole width and it controls from the rear side panel seam and in consequence of the fact that the sleeve the repair to become known at the surface and in order not to seem, all inside. Case of the repair waist circumference the rear center, the length above the lower part with the fact that it controls from center back line. 최근 건강과 외모에 대한 남성들의 관심이 증가함에 따라 ‘몸짱 신드롬’이 생겨나는 등 운동으로 근육을 발달시킨 근육형 남성들이 늘어나고 있다. 의복에도 관심이 많은 이들은 발달한 근육으로 인해 발생되는 기성복 맞음새의 낮은 인체적합도에 불만을 토로하고 있다. 특히, 20·30대 남생들을 중심으로 선호되고 있는 슬림한 라인의 캐릭터 캐주얼 정장의 경우 근육형 남성들의 맞음새 문제가 더욱 심각하다. 이에 본 연구는 근육이 발달된 근육형 남성들이 슬림한 라인의 캐릭터 캐주얼 기성복 재킷과 팬츠를 착용했을 때 발생하는 맞음새 문제와 수선사항에 대하여 12개의 캐릭터 캐주얼 정장 브랜드의 판매원과 수선업체를 대상으로 설문조사를 하였다. 맞음새에 영향을 미치는 부위와 수선방법을 파악함으로써 근육형 남성의 재킷 및 팬츠 제도법 개발에 요구되는 기초 자료를 제공하기 위한 목적으로 연구되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 얻어진 결론은 디음과 같다. 1. 근육발달로 인해 체형 변화가 일어난 근육형 남성이 슬림한 라인의 기성복 재킷을 착용하였을 때 전체적으로 가슴부위 품이 작아 가슴부위의 여밈이 들뜨거나 어깨와 등근육의 발달로 암흘부위가 조이며 뒷목 중심에 가로로 군주름이 생긴다. 또한 팬츠를 착용했을 시에는 허리둘레와 넙다리둘레, 엉덩이둘레의 비율이 맞지 않아 사이즈 선택 및 착용에 어려움을 겪는 것으로 나타났다. 2. 남성 캐릭터 캐주얼 브랜드 중 근육형 남성 소비자로 인한 수선비율은 재킷의 경우 전체 수선비율 중 59%이고 팬츠의 경우 42%에 달하는 것으로 나타났다. 수선 부위에 대해서는 재킷의 경우 신체 특성상 어깨와 가슴부위에 맞는 치수를 선택하여 허리둘레 줄이는 경우가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났으며(16%), 가슴부위 근육 발달로 인해 앞 가슴부위가 들떠 가슴둘레를 늘리거나(10%) 등 부위 근육 발달로 뒷품을 늘리는 경우(9%)의 순으로 나타났다. 수선분량은 평균 1인치 정도이며 진동둘레나 어깨너비는 가능한 수선하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 3. 남성복 팬츠의 경우 치수체계가 허리둘레를 기본으로 생산되므로 일반적인 경우 팬츠를 선택할 때 허리 둘레를 기준으로 선택하게 되지만 근육이 발달한 남성이 허리둘레에 맞는 것을 착용하면 큰볼기근(대둔근)과 넙다리곧은근(대퇴직근)의 발달로 인해서 넙다리둘레와 엉덩이둘레가 부족하여 끼는 현상과 함께 소비자들이 팬츠의 통을 좁게 느끼는 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 넙다리둘레와 엉덩이둘레에 맞는 팬츠를 구입하여 허리둘레를 줄여서 착용하는 경우가 37%로 가장 많았고, 통 줄임, 엉덩이둘레 늘림, 밀위길이 늘림의 순으로 나타났다. 빈도가 많은 허리둘레 줄임의 경우 최대분량은 2인치까지이며 그 외는 보통 ½인치에서 1인치 정도인 것으로 나타났다. 4. 재킷 수선 시 허리둘레 줄임이나 전체적 품을 줄일 경우 뒷중심과 뒤 사이드패널 솔기에서 처리하고 소매통 수선은 곁으로 드러나 보이지 않도록 모두 안소매쪽 솔기에서 처리하는 것으로 나타났으며 팬츠 수선 시 허리둘레는 뒷중심, 밑위길이는 샅선에서 처리하는 것으로 나타났다. 판매업체와 수선업체를 중심으로 조사한 근육형 남성의 기성복 맞음새 실태 결과는 인체적합도가 우수한 근육형 남성용 재킷 및 팬츠 패턴제도법을 개발하는 기초자료가 될 것이다.

회맹장 및 대장을 침범한 장 결핵에 있어서 바륨을 이용한 방사선 이중조영촬영 소견에 대한 연구

To determine the characteristic double contrast barium enema findings of ileo-cecal and colonic tuberculosis and to make differential diagnosis from other bowel inflammatory disease. Sixty-seven patients confirmed as ileo-cecal and/or colonic-tuberculosis in six hospitals were evaluated retrospectively. The diagnosis was proven by endoscopic biopsy, surgery, and clinical follow up. Nine of 67 patients were excluded because radiologic findings were normal though endocopic biopsy examinations resulted in tuberculosis. Histopathological diagnosis were madein 58 cases as follows: endoscopic biopsy(n=29), operation(n=12), follow up examination(n=14), tissue culture(n=1), laparoscopic biopsy(n=2). There were 30 men and 28 females. The mean age were 36 yrs(range:16-67), 34 patients were in the second and third decade. The distribution of lesions, morphological characteristics, mucosal changes, ulcer shape and depth, associated with other tuberculous lesion, multiplicity were retrospectively analyzed in the findngs of double contrast barim enema. The commonest clinical symptoms were abdominal pain(n=35, 60%) and diarrhea(n=18, 31%). The chest radiography revealed association of pulmonary tuberculosis in 39 cases. Tuberculous lesions of other organs except chest were present in five cases. Double contrast barium enema findings showed a thickening and irregularity of intestinal mucosal fold(n=29, 50%), bowel contraction and/or shortening(n=26, 45%). There were small, nodular, superficial ulcers in the case of ulcer depth less than 2 mm in the depth. As many as 39 cases(67%) in this series had two or more lesions in the intestinal tuberculosis. The involved segment revealed symmetrical feature(n=21, 36%). Inflammatory pseudopolypoid lesions were noted in 30 cases(52%). The ileo-cecal region was involved in 38 cases(66%). The ascending colon(n=25, 43%) was the second commonest site with or without contiguous cecal involvement. Lesions in terminal ileum, ileo-cecal valve, transverse colon, descending colon and appendix were seen in 19, 18, 18, 12 and seven cases, respectively. Among 18 cases of ileo-cecal valve lesions, there were incompetency in nine cases(16%) and wide gapping in four cases(7%). In 14 cases, tuberculous enterocolitis was diagnosed by clinical follow-up and double contrast barium enema study. 12 out of 14 cases, the findings of double contrast barium enema of tuberculous enterocolitis were normalized after anti-tuberculous medication. However, two cases showed more aggravated state than before due to inappropriate treatment. Double contrast barium enema plays an important role in the diagnosis of tuberculous enterocolitis, determines the type, site and extent of the involvement and helps in treatment guide by using sequential studies.

Retinol 국소도포에 의한 눈가주름 제거효과

In 3 months randomized, double-blind, vehicle-controlled study of retinol (vitamin A 0.1%-3000IU/g) in the treatment of photoaging skin, especially eye wrinkles. 24 patients applied retinol contained cream to the both eye wrinkles and vehicle cream(placebo) to the same site. Half of the patients received retinol contained cream and half received vehicle cream(placebo). All 24 patients who completed the study showed statistically significant improvement in photoaging eye wrinkles on the retinol contained cream treated group, but not on the vehicle treated group. Eight of the 12 patients who received retinol contained cream to eye wrinkles had improvement in photoaging, whereas only three of the 12 patients who received vehicle cream(placebo) improved. In retinol contained cream group, there is a some relationship between water contents and effects. In other words, as water contents were the higher, effects were the better. The side effects were limited to mild irritation of retinol contained cream treated skin. Retinol contained cream appeared to be safe and effective in the treatment of eye wrinkles.

미혼 남녀의 개인적, 관계적, 상황적 변인이 데이팅 폭력에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to investigate how much individual. relational, and contextual variables have an effect on the dating violence of premarital males and females. Researched are 369 male and female residents over 19 years have experienced dating or were involved in any dating relationships in Daegu. The instruments of measurement are CTSⅡ scale and scales of relation to individual, relational, and contextual variables. The data are analysed through factor analysis, Cronbach'sα, frequency, percentile, and stepwise regression analysis. The major findings of this study are as follows: First, individual variables that affect doing and victimization of dating violence are one's permission degree of dating violence, and psychologica abuses experienced during childhood from one's mother. Second, relational variables that affect doing and victimization of dating violence are control toward one's partner, communlcation, conflict, commitment, intimacy, satisfaction of dating relationship, and feeling of inferiority toward one's partner. Third, contextual variables that affect doing and victimization of dating violence are familial relationships,friend relationships, and financial stresses.

대학생의 수면양상과 수면장애요인에 관한 연구

The results of this Study are as follows:33.6% of all participants have insomnia; 22.5% of those who have insomnia are DIS(difficulty in initiating sleep), 17.3% are DMS(difficulty returning to sleep once awakened) and 7.0% awakened too early. 3 4.8% experience sleepiness during daytime. Type 1, experiencing insomnia and sleepi ness during daytime together, is 12.0%, Type 2, with insomnia only, is 21.6%, Type 3, with sleepiness during daytime only, is 22.8% and 43.5% experience no sleeping disturbances. After studying only those with 3 types of sleeping disturbances, it is found that the most common cause of such disturbance is stress 88.4%, anxiety 56.0%, no apparent reason 33.8%, anxiety/fear/terror 29.3%, hurry 23.6%, alcohol/caffeine 16.9%, bedroom tem perature 11.1%, urination during nighttime and persons living together 10.7%, noise from inside 8.9%, illumination 8.0%, and pain/itch 5.8%. The one group revealed significant differences in residential environment(p=0.003). Sex, age, education level, medicine, monthly earning revealed no meaningful differences. Of sleeping behavior, mean duration of sleep latency(p=0.000), whether or not feeling freshness(p=0.000), whether taking enough sleep(p=0.029), whether taking regular sleep(p=0.005) showed significant differences depending on whether or not having insomnia, and mean duration of sleep time, time to sleep, time of rising, whether taking naps did not reveal significant differences. Of sleep behavior, time to sleep(p=0.000), whether taking naps(p=0.000), indicated significant differences. Of sleeping behavior, mean duration of sleep latency(p=0.000), whether or not feeling freshness(p=0.000), and whether taking enough sleep(p=0.000), time of going to bed (p=0.002), whether or not taking nap(p=0.000), whether or not taking regular sleep(p=0.010) indicated significant differences among the sleeping disturbance types.

Micronucleus test를 이용한 수종 결합용레진과 상아질결합제의 돌연변이 유발에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the mutagenicity of the bonding resins of dental composites and the dentin bonding agents. Eight bonding resins, six dentin bonding agents and distilled water (negative control) were administered orally and cyclophosphamide (positive control) was administered intraperitoneally to the mice. The mice were killed by cervical dislocation at 24 hours after administration and the femurs were removed and dissected. The bone marrow cells were collected and smeared on glass slides and stained with haematoxylin-eosin staining method and were observed with light microscope(X450). The following results can be drawn: 1. The bonding resins of dental composites and the dentin bonding agents were tested in this study seemed to be non-mutagenic. 2. The numbers of micronucleated polychromatic erythrocytes were similar both in the bonding resins of dental composites and the dentin bonding agents. 3. In the case of some products(AP, SC' and AA), the number of micronucleated polychromatic erythrocs was high beyond other products.

AOPWIN을 이용한 Acetanilide의 광분해 특성 평가

Acetanilide is a High Production Volume Chemical, which is produced about 2,300 tons/year in Korea as of 1998 survey. Most is used as an intermediate for synthesis of pharmaceuticals and dyes, and the chemical is one of seven chemicals of which human and environmental risk are being assessed by National Institute of Environmental Research under the frame of OECD SIDS program. The Atmospheric Oxidation Program for Microsoft Windows (AOPWIN) is used to estimates the rate constant for the atmospheric, gas-phase reaction between photochemically produced hydroxyl radicals and organic chemicals. It is also used to estimates the rate constant for the gas-phase reaction between ozone and olefinic/acetylenic compounds. The rate constants estimated by the program are then used to calculate atmospheric half-lives for organic compounds based upon average atmospheric concentrations of hydroxyl radicals and ozone. AOPWIN requires only a chemical structure to make these predictions. Structures are entered into AOPWIN by SMILES (Simplified Molecular Input Line Entry System) notations. In this study, one of environmental fate/distribution of the chemical elements, photodegradation of acetanilide was estimated using AOPWIN model based on SMILES notation and chemical name data.

서울의 PPNG 발생 빈도(1991-1992)

The prevalence of PPNG among pretreated gonorrhea cases isolated at the STD clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul has been studied and reported annually since 1981. In 1991, 123 strains of N.gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 58(47.1%) were PPNG. In 1992, 98 starains of N.gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 51(52.0%) were PPNG. In all, 109(49.3%) strains were found to be PPNG among 221 strains isolated between 1991-1992. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul showed increased tendency till 1989, thereafter, it has been stationary or slightly decreasing.
