        Background : In recent years, gonorrhea has been panedemic and remains one of the most commom STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. Objective & Methods: For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of PPNG, we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the VD Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by means of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. Results: In 1996, 139 strains of N. gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 53(39.0%) were PPNG. Conclusion: Our results suggests that after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, the prevalence of PPNG in Seoul is gradually declining.

        One of the important components in designing logistics network is facility location problem. It is possible to solve the real world location problem using the mathematical model included in the package because of the growth of computer hardware technology. In this paper the package is developed to find the optimal network flows and the relevant transportation cost according to the location alternatives of distribution centers in the two stage logistics network. For the given logistics network there are two types of the distribution schema according to the service area constraint of demand points. The one is the minimum cost network flow problem that is solved by the network simplex method and another is the integer programming problem that is solved by the branch & bound method. And the package extracts the distance data that is needed in the optimal model from the geographical data of GIS. The optimal solution can be found using the package developed in this research and the result cab be displayed on GIS map. And also a numerical example is illustrated.

        The phase transition phenomena and the phase separation phenomena of surfactants(SPES) are analyzed using QCA with resonant frequency and resonant resistance. The phase transition phenomena of SPES at 30℃ can be determined by measuring the resonant frequency and resonant resistance by lecithin coated on quartz crystal. The surfactants capacity of SPES can be analyzed by measuring the resonant frequency and resonant resistance of surfactants using QCA.

        Pipeline is an important transportation mode for oil products The pipeline transportation and storage rates affect the pipeline usage, and the pipeline usage also affects the transportation revenue and operating costs of the pipeline The purpose of our study is to develop a decision support system simulating pipeline transportation and storage rates for maximizing the utilization and profitability of the oil pipeline and apply it to the real situation To do this, a simulation model to help the decision maker decide the rates of the oil pipeline is first proposed Second, a simulation program is developed, which enables the user to evaluate the various scenarios of oil transportation and storage rates Finally, this program is applied to the case study of oil industry in Korea

      • 초등학교 수학교실에서의 좋은 수업 구현을 위한 몇 가지 권고

        좋은 수업이란 교사가 수업을 통하여 기대했던 학습목표가 충분히 달성되어 학습자들이 지적, 정의적인 충족감을 느끼면서 다음 수업시간이 기다려지는 수업이다. 초등학교 수학 수업의 목표는 수학이라는 내용만을 가르치는 것이 아니며 수학을 통해 인간을 가르치는 교육이어야 한다. 그러려면 초등교사는 자신이 가르치고자 하는 '내용으로서의 수학'과 '대상으로서의 인간'을 모두 이해하고 있어야 한다. 수학과의 좋은 수업을 위한 구체적인 평가기준을 생각해 보며 심리적인 이해의 원칙과 함께 좋은 수업의 사례를 소개한다. 또한 여러 가지 학습이론들로부터 나올 수 있는 몇 가지 방법들과 고려해 보아야 할 안을 덧붙였다. It is good teaching that learners are eager to wait the next class with intellectual and emotional satisfaction for the fulfilled goal. The goal of the mathematics class is to teach not only 'mathematics as contents' but also 'human being through mathematics' So elementary school teachers have to understand both of them. This article proposes criteria and examples for the good teaching of mathematics. There are several recommendations from various teaching and learning theory.

        말기 신부전 환자에서 투여 경로에 따른 유전자 재조합 인 Erythropoietin(Epokine^(�))의 효과와 안정성에 대한 연구 : 제 4상 연구 A Phase 4 Single Center Study

        목 적 : 국내 독자적 기술로 첫 개발된 유전자 재조합 인 에리트로포에틴(Epokineⓡ)의 투여방법에 따른 유효성과 안정성을 알아보고자 하였다. 방 법 : Epokineⓡ을 주당 100-150 U/kg, 주 2회, 12주간 피하 주사하여 목표 또는 안정된 혈색소치 유지 후 무작위로 피하 및 정맥 주사군으로 나누어 12주간 혈액투석 및 복막투석 환자13명, 28명에서 유효성, 안정성을 분석하였다. 결 과 : 양군에서 혈색소치와 헤마토크릿은 Epokineⓡ 투여 2주 후부터 증가, 혈색소치가 혈액투석 환자는 투여 전 7.3 g/dL, 투여 12주 9.5 g/dL, 24주 10.6 g/dL로, 복막투석 환자는 6.8g/dL에서 12주 10.2 g/dL, 24주 10.8 g/dL로 증가하였다. 양군에서 교정 망상적혈구수(%)는투여 1주 후부터 전 기간동안 증가하였다. 혈청 내 철분, ferritin치는 양군에서 투여 2주 후부터감소, 총 철분 결합능은 투여 2주 후부터 증가하였다. 12주째 혈액투석 환자에서 많은 Epokineⓡ용량이 필요했으나(142.2±20.5 vs 117.3±33.6 U/kg/wk, p<0.001) 24주 후 양군의 용량차이는 없었다(123.6±41.5 vs 99.2±49.3 U/kg/wk, p>0.05). 혈액투석 환자에서 피하 주사가Epokineⓡ 투여용량이 더 적었으나(97.4±15.4 vs 145.4±2.9 U/kg/wk, p<0.002) 복막투석 환자는 차이가 없었다(93.0±60.2 vs 105.4±9.7 U/kg/wk, p>0.05) 연구기간 중 9명(18.8%)에서혈압강하제 추가가 필요한 혈압상승, 근육통 동반 상기도 감염 유사증상 및 두통 등의 부작용이 있었다. 대부분 자연소실 혹은 대증요법으로 치유되었고 2명이 부작용으로 탈락하였다. 결 론 : 말기 신부전 환자의 빈혈 개선에 사용하는 Epokineⓡ의 효과는 복막투석 환자에서 더 좋았으며 투여 경로는 정맥주사보다 피하주사가 높음을 알 수 있었다. Background : We evaluated the clinical efficacy and safety of recombinant human erythropoietin(Epokine^(ⓡ)). Methods : A comparative prospective study of intravenously and subcutaneously administrated Epokine^(ⓡ) conducted 13 patients performing hemodialysis and 28 patients performing continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis with end-stage renal disease. Epokine^(ⓡ) was given initially at a dosage of 100 unit/kg, subcutaneously, two times a week. The patients had achieved stable or more than 10 g/dL of hemoglobin level for 12 weeks and then we randomized switching intravenously or subcutaneously administrated Epokine^(ⓡ) for another 12 weeks. Results : Hemoglobin(g/dL) and hematocrit(%) increased significantly from baseline levels beginning from 2 weeks after Epokine^(ⓡ) administration. In HD patients, hemoglobin increased significantly from 7.3 to 9.5 after 12 weeks and to 10.6 after 24 weeks. In CAPD patients, hemoglobin increased significantly from 6.8 to 10.2 after 12 weeks and then 10.8 after 24 weeks(p<0.05). Corrected reticulocyte count(%) was significantly increased from baseline levels beginning from 1 week after Epokine^(ⓡ) administration and continuously increased during study period in both group. Serum ferritin and serum iron decreased significantly and total iron binding capacity increased significantly after 2 weeks. At 12 weeks, HD patients were significantly needed more dosage of Epokine^(ⓡ) than CAPD patients(142.2±20.5 vs 117.3±33.6 U/kg/wk, p<0.001), but at 24 weeks, the dosage was not different(123.6±41.5 vs 99.2±49.3 U/kg/wk, p> 0.05). In HD patients, intravenously administrated Epokine^(ⓡ) group was more dosage than subcutaneously group(97.4±15.4 vs 145.4±2.9 U/kg/wk, p< 0.002), but CAPD patients were not different by administration method(93.0±60.2 vs 105.4±9.7 U/kg/ wk, p>0.05). The 9 cases(18.8%) were suffered from headache and flu-like syndrome, but these side effects were not severe and disappeared from conventional therapy. Conclusion : Epokine^(ⓡ) administration is safe and effective in treating anemia of ESRD patients and subcutaneously administration is significantly more effective than intravenously.       • 數種 燐酸埋沒材에 따른 陶材燒付用 니켈-크롬 合金의 齒頸部 邊綠의 適合性

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the marginal fitness of Nickel-Chrome alloys to various phosphate investments. A copper die and its negative were machined to fabricate same wax pattern. Completed wax pattern was invested, burnt-out and cast as scribed by the manufactures of the respective investment materials. After sandblasting, each metal coping was cemented to a stone die which was duplicated the copper die with finger pressure. Each cemented die-coping assembly as embedded with self-curing acrylic resin and sectioned along the midline of occlusal surface with diamond disk and measured the margin with microscope. The reslut could be summerized as follows: Mean marginal discrepancies of Unitbond to Hi-Temp was 99μ, to Ceramigold was 116μ and to Biovest was 141μ. Mean marginal discrepancies of Talladium to Hi-Temp was 53μ, to Ceramigold was 81μ and to Biovest was 106μ. Mean marginal discrepancies of Rexillium Ⅲ to Hi-Temp was 57μ, to Ceramigold was 100μ and to Biovest was 82μ. Mean marginal discrepancies of verabond to Hi-Temp was 59μ, o Ceramigold was 87μ and to Biovest was 102μ. Mean marginal discrepancies of Unibond to Hi-Temp was 146μ, to Ceramigold was 126μ and to Biovest was 149μ.

      • 초등학교 수학 영재학급용 프로그램 개발에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 초등학교 수학 영재학급에서 수학 영재들이 자신들의 영재성을 충분히 발휘할 수 있도록 하는 수학 영재 교육 프로그램을 개발하기 위한 방향을 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 여러 선행 연구들을 분석/검토하여 프로그램의 목적, 유형, 내용, 운영 면에서 수학 영재 교육 프로그램 개발의 4가지 기본 방향을 정하였다. 이러한 개발의 기본 방향에 따라 전체 프로그램의 목적과의 일관성, 영재의 특성 고려, 프로그램의 유형, 학습 자료의 내용, 학습 자료의 성격, 교수 방법, 평가, 각 단위 수업에서의 구현 중점, 자료의 체제의 측면 등 9가지 면에서 수학 영재 학급용 교수-학습 자료 개발의 준거를 수립하였다. 그리고 이에 따라 초등학교 6학년 수학 영재학급의 교육 프로그램과 교수-학습 자료를 개발하고 현장에 적용하여 12차시의 수업을 분석해 봄으로써 앞의 10가지 자료개발 준거가 후속 자료개발에 시사하는 7가지의 중요한 시사점을 얻었다. The purpose of this study is to develop a Gifted Education Program in math-gifted class in elementary school. The literature analyzed in this study included earlier studies on math-gifted education programs and relevant teaching materials, math-gifted curriculum published in KEDI(Korea Educational Development Institute), and reports by gifted education demonstration schools. We proposed 4 guidelines to open the math-gifted education program. Based on the 4 guidelines, we established 9 criteria to develop math-gifted teaching/learning materials and proposed 7 considerations.

        백서 하악골에서 신연빈도에 따른 골형성 비교 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical, radiographic, histologic and molecular changes in distraction osteogenesis according to different distraction rhythm in the rat's mandible. Forty-five adult male rats underwent open osteotomy between the second and third molars and external unilateral distraction device was applied. Latency was allowed for 5 days before distraction began. The distraction device was activated with same rate of 0.5㎜ per day and varying distraction rhythms of once daily, twice daily, four times daily until 3㎜ length gain was achieved. Tissues were harvested after 4 days, 2 weeks, and 4 weeks after distraction for Western blot analysis, RT-PCR analysis and harvested 3 weeks, 6 weeks after distraction for clinical, radiographic, and histologic studies. Three animals were killed at each time point. The results obtained from this study were as follows: No significant difference was found on clinical examination according to distraction rhythms, and increasing the frequency of distradction was shown to improve regenerate bone formation on radiographic and histologic examination, and TGF-β1 expression increased when small, more frequent distractions were performed. From these results, it could be stated that more frequent distraction is shown to significantly improve and accelerate bone formation and has considerable effects on TGF-β1 expression.
