Dong-A University Department of Health Care, Handong University Sunlin Presbyterian Hotpital1) Department of Occupational Medicine, College of Medicine, Dong-A University2) 0bjectives : This study was performed to determine the reference values of blood lead, manganese, aluminium, and silicon in healthy adults. Methods : The subjects were 132 (67 male and 65 female), and classified to three age groups (≤39,40∼49, and 50≤). Hood lead, manganese and aluminium were analyzed by atomic absorption spectrophotometer, and blood silicon was analyzed by direct current plasma optical omission spectrometer. Results : Blood lead levels(geometric mean, S.D) were (3.49, 1.70) ㎍/dL in male auld (3.04, 1.65) ㎍/dL in female, but the difference is not significant, and there was no significant difference between age groups. Mean blood manganese level was 0.99±0.41㎍/dL, and there was no significant difference between sex or age groups. Mean blood aluminium level was 0.59±0.35㎍/dL and there was no significant difference between sex or age groups. Mean blood silicon level was 54.41±27.64㎍/dL in male and 43.34±23.51㎍/dL in female, and the level in male was significantly higher than that in female (p〈0.05). There was significant difference between age groups, and the oldest showed the highest level in male (p〈0.05), but no significant difference between age groups in female. Conclusions : Authors hope that this study would provide basic data for determininig reference values and evaluating health effects.

        The thermal decomposition process of Mo(CO)_6 on chemical vapor deposition was investigated by analyzing the effects of deposition temperature, pressure, and reaction gas on the phase change of deposited films. Mo_2C was deposited at or below 350℃ due to the incompleteness of thermal decomposition of Mo(CO)_6, but Mo films was successfully deposited at 400℃ or higher temperatures. The variation of deposition pressure did not change the dependence of decomposition process on deposition temperature. The activation energy of surface reaction was 5.8 ㎉/mole.

      • 151종 생약제 추출물이 B형 간염 바이러스 표면 항원(HBsAg)과 항체(HBsAb)의 결합반응 그리고 HBV DNA polymerase 활성에 미치는 효과 : 한국산 각종 생약제를 이용한 B형 간염치료제의 개발

        세계인구 43억명 중 B형 간염 바이러스 보균자는 2억 1천 5백만명이며 이중 78%인 1억 6천만명 이상이 아시아 대륙에 집중되어 있다. 한국도 B형 바이러스 간염의 침윤지대이다. 본 연구는 B형 바이러스 보균자 혹은 만성간염을 치료할 수 있는 생약제를 탐색할 목적의 일환으로 한국에서 시판하는 생약제 151종을 구입하여 증류수로 추출하고 여과한 후 냉동건조하여 HBs 항원에 대한 결합능, HBV DNA polymerase억제능, tumor necrosis factor(TNF) 유리에 미치는 영향, 그리고 galactosamine 유발 간염에 대한간장보호 작용을 조사하였다. 151종의 생약제중 0.16㎍/㎖ 농도에서 간염 vaccine 내에 함유된 HBs 항원과 결합하는 생약제는 지유, 가자, 복분자, 대황, 정향, 빈량, 산수유, 소목, 마황, 쇄양, 후박, 목과, 양강, 오약, 산사, 목단피 등 16종이었다. 이들 생약제중 대황(Rheum palmatum L. 大黃), 가자(Terminalia chebula R. 訶子), 지유(Sanguisorba officinalis L. 地楡), 복분자(Rubus coreanus M. 覆盆子)는 HBV DNA polymerase 활성도를 비교적 강하게 억제하였으며 빈량(Areca catechu L. 빈랑), 정향(Eugenia caryophyllata T. 丁香), 목과(Chaenomeles japonica L. 木瓜), 산수유(Cornus officinalis S. 山茱萸)는 약하게나마 HBV DNA polymerase 활성을 억제하였다. 또한 HBV DNA polymerase를 억제한 대황, 가자, 지유, 복분자, 빈량, 정향, 마황, 소목, 산수유를 대상으로 TNF 유리에 미치는 영향을 조사한 결과 소목을 제외한 8종의 생약제 모두가 대식세포를 자극하여 TNF를 유리시켰다. 그리고 장차 임상에 사용함을 전제로 HBV DNA polymerase를 억제한 대황, 가자, 지유, 복분자, 빈량, 정향, 마황, 소목, 산수유를 galactosamine 유발 간염(백서)에 투여하여 간기능 검사에 미치는 효과를 조사하였으나 간기능 검사상으로는 특별한 보호작용을 나타내지 못하였으며 생약제 단독 투여로서는 간기능에 대하여 나쁜 영향을 주지 않았다. Hepatitis B virus infection is major cause of acute and chrome hepatitis, cirrhosis of liver, and hepatocellular carcinoma. There are over 200 million carriers of hepatitis B virus in the world, nearly 80 % of whom live in the South East Asia, Korea is also highly endemic area of hepatitis B virus infection. This study was performed to evaluate the effect of extracts of traditional Korean herbal medicines on hepatitis B virus. 151 traditional herbs were extracted, filtered and lyophilized. Using 151 herbal extracts we tested binding capability to the HBs Ag, inhibition of HBV DNA polymerase, release of tumor necrosis factor (TNF), and protection against galactosamine induced liver damage. Among 151 herbs, 16 herbs (Sanguisorba officinalis L., Terminalia chebula R., rubus coreanus M., Rheum palmatum L., Eugenia caryophyllata T., Areca catechu L., Cornus officinalis S., Caesalpinia sappan L, Ephedra sinica S., Cynomorium songaricum R., Machilus thunbergii S., Chaenomeles japonica L., Alpinia officinarum H., Lindera strychnifolia V., Crataegus pinnatifida B., Paeonia suffruticasa A. ) had binding capability to HBs Ag which contained in the commercial hepatitis vaccine, at 16 ug/㎖ of concentratioa Among the above 16 herbs, Rheum palmatum L., Terminalia chebula R., Sanguisorba officinalis L., Rubus coreanus M. significantly inhibited the HBV DNA polymerase activity, and Areca catechu L., Eugenia caryophyllata T., Ephedra sinica S., Caesalpinia sappan L., Chaenomeles Japonica L., Cornus officinalis S. also inibited the HBV DNA polymerase activity but less effective. All of the herbs, except Caesalpinia sappan L., which inhibited the HBV DNA polymerase activity, actively stimulated the mononuclear cells to release tumor necrosis factor(TNF) in whole blood culture system. The herbs which inhibited the HBV DNA polymerase activity, did not show any protective effect in galactosamine-induced hepatitis in rats, but there was no direct toxic effect when herbs were administered alone.

        Uterus didelphys with unilateral obstructed hemivagina and ipsilateral renal agenesis usually presents after menarch with progressive abdominal pain during menses secondary to hematocolpos, and indeed a very rare congenital anomaly due to Mullerian duct malformation. An accurate and prompt diagnosis is of importance to permit treatment and to assure the future fertility of the patient. Pelvic ultrasound, physical examination and pelvic MRI established a diagnosis of hematometracolpos secondary to uterus didelphys with unilateral imperforate hemivagina. An incision in the vaginal septum allowed drainage of the hematocolpos, providing relief of the patients symptoms. We report two case of uterus didelphys with obstructed hemivagina with brief review of the literature.

        농촌지도직 공무원의 역량 중심 계층교육과정 개발

        이 연구의 목적은 농촌지도직 공무원의 역량 중심 계층 교육과정을 개발하는 데 있었으며,이를 위하여 계층구조 및 특성 규명,역량 중심 계층교육과정 개발,학습개입 설계의 세 단계로 구성된 개발모형을 설정하였다. 먼저 계층구조 및 특성을 규명한 결과,3년 미만 일반지도사,3년 이상 7년 미만의 일반지도사,7년 이상 20년 미만의 일반지도사,20년 이상의 일반지도사,담당 계층,중간 관리자 계층,경영자 계층 동 7단계의 계층구조가 설정되었다. 계층별 역량 개발 우선순위를 파악한 결과,20년 이상의 일반지도사와 담당 계층은 거의 유사한 것으로 나타났으며,이에 따라 교육과정의 레벨을 설정함에 있어서 20년 이상 일반지도사와 담당 계층을 통합하였다. 이에 기반하여 역량 중심 계층교육과정을 개발한 결과,지도 입문프로그램,지도실무프로그램,지도전문프로그램,팀리더프로그램,변화리더프로그램,경영자 워크숍 등 6개의 교육 프로그램이 개발되었다. 다음으로 역량별 학습과제 분석을 실시하고,그 결과를 설정된 교육 프로그램에 반영하였다. 마지막으로 각 교육 프로그램별 모듈을 구성하고 설계하였으며,전문가협의회를 통하여 그 결과를 검증받음으로써 농촌지도직 공무원의 역량 중심 계층교육과정을 완성하였다. 또한 이상의 역량 중심 계충교육과정 개발 과정을 통해 나타난 논점을 중심으로 향후 역량 중심 교육과정 개발을 위한 시사점을 제공하였다. The purposes of this study are to develop competency-based management curriculums by position level for rural extension workers. 3step model was set up for developing curriculums as follow; ① identifying position levels and their characteristics, ② developing competency-based management curriculums by position level, ③ designing of learning intervention. Above all, as a result of identifying position levels and their characteristics, 7 positions were drafted. These included: general extension worker under 3 years, general extension worker over 3 years and under 7 years, general extension worker over 7 years and under 20 years, general extension worker over 20 years, extension worker in charge, middle management, executive. Then, it was performed to identify the priority order of competency developing by position. And the priority of general extension worker over 20 years and supervisor was mostly similar, so then these positions were integrated. Based on positions of rural extension workers, competency-based curriculum, by position level, was developed, Consequently, 6 curriculums were developed. Next, it was conducted to analyze learning task for each competencies and apply them to 6 level curriculums. finally, modules were organized and designed for each curriculums, and examined through professional workshop. In addition, there were implications for developing competency-based curriculum based on issues of our process for developing competency-based curriculums by position level.

        This thesis analyzes and explains the relationship between Christianity and sports, and tries to direct the "sports ministry" to the right path through analysis of historic facts. Sports Ministry is a method of mission which utilizes all the aspects of sports for preaching. Following are recent examples of Sports Ministry. 1. Using sports that have close links to the mass media. This mainly means using well known athletes for maximum number of people to receive Jesus Christ through a mass media and to understand 송 Christian culture easily.. 2. Using international sports events. Through a well known international sports events, we can have a lot of chance to preach the people from many different countries at once. 3. Using leisure activities. With the sports programs that can be held in churches, we may provide opportunities to reach non Christian community members who are gathering there. As shown above, we can approach sports ministry in a number of ways and we should continue to discuss on this topic.

        원격교육은 많은 연구와 실지 실현에 초점이 되어왔다. 최근 웹-브라우저를 이용한 인터넷 기술은 원격 지역들간에 코스 자료를 공유하는데 이용되고 있다. 웹 페이지 공유는 저렴한 가격으로 코스 자료를 준비하는 것처럼 여러 가지 이익을 제공하는 반면에, 실제로 원격교육에 있어서 사용자에게 여러 가지 제한이 있다. 본 연구에서는 웹-브라우저 공유 기술을 기반으로 하여 멀티미디어 원격교육 시스템을 만드는 것에 관한 우리의 경험을 서술하고, 시스템의 독창적인 특징인 멀티미디어 원격교육 시스템에서, 공유된 웹 페이지의 효과적인 사용을 얼마나 촉진할 수 있는지 설명하였다. Distance education has been the focus of much research and experimentation. Recently, Internet technologies, especially those to Web-browsers, have been used to share course materials among remote sites. Web page sharing provides various benefits such as low-cost preparation of course materials, but it imposes various limitations on the user in an actual distance education. This paper describes our experience in building a multimedia distance education system, based on our Web-browser-sharing technology, and explains how the unique features of our system could facilitate the effective use of shared Web pages in a multimedia distance education system.

      • Streptozotocin유도 당뇨병이 백서 악하선에 미치는 영향에 관한 병리조직학적 연구

        The purpose of this study was to observe the microscopicchange of salivary gland tissues, which is the cause of xerostomia in diabetic condition; for this target, the author injected STZ 0.1mlIlOOgm b.w. on rat to produce diabetes, and then observed microscopic change in submandibular gland through the histopathologic method, obtaining as follows 1. All of the experimental specimens suffered diabetes after injection of STZ, but the blood glucose Ievel was irregular. 2. There were not interrelationship between the blood glucose level and microscopic change on salivary gland tissues. 3. The salivary gland changed after diabetes initiation in lapse of times; after 14 days, suffered severe destruction, however after 17 days, it was regenerated. 4. Salivary glands showed congested, destructive acim cells, and hyperplastic ductal cells as well as salivary gland duct-like structures. 5. There were accumulation of fat granules within, the cytoplasm of the acini cells on mucous gland in diabetic condition. 6. According to insulin injection, there were no more changes on salivary gland tissues, even in the accumulation of fat granules. 7. Histological changes of the serous gland were obvious more than the mucous gland in this experimental condition.
