        An investigation on the production of high purity Sb₂O₃was carried out by means of the acid leaching process from the roasted ore of stibnite. The approach of these studies has been to investigate purity, particle size, recovery and crystal structure of Sb₂O₃obtained through the subsequent treatments of leaching, hydrolysis and neutralization under various conditions. The results obtained in these experiments are summarized as follows; 1) It was possible to use dilute hydrochloric acid to extract Sb₂O₃from the roasted stibnite. Because of the prior roasting treatment, the contamination of impurities could also be reduced in the final products. 2) The rate of extraction of Sb₂O₃from the roasted stibnite was increased concentration of hydro-chloric acid as increased amount of addition of the acid. 3) The yield of Sb₂O₃obtained by hydrolysis of SbCl₃was increased with increasing temperature of hydrolysis. 4) The crystal structure of Sb₂O₃obtained by hydrolysis of SbCl₃at 20℃(room temperature) was confirmed as a orthorhombic crystal structure which is the same as that of valentinite. The recovery of Sb₂O₃from the roasted ore appeared to be nearly 100% under optimum conditions.

        μBGA 무연솔더 (Sn-3.5Ag-0.7Cu)와 전해 및 무전해 Ni 도금층 계면의 열적 안정성

        The morphology and thermal stability of the interfacial phases in the joints between lead free solder (Sn3.5AgO.7Cu) and electroless Ni-P (12 at%P) and electro Ni under bumper metallizations(UBM) were investigated as a function of thermal aging. Samples were prepared by reflowing at 250℃, N₂ atmosphere and aging in the range of 125 to 170℃ for up to 1000h. After reflow, in the electrolytic Ni/solder joint, the interfacial IMC was mostly Nirich (Ni,Cu)₃Sn4 with an addition of about 8 at% Cu while in electroless Ni-P/solder joint it showed both Cu-rich (Cu,Ni)_(6)Sny and Ni-rich (Ni,Cu)₃Sn4. After relatively short aging time, the interfacial IMC on electrolytic Ni layer has developed into the dual-layed structure of (Ni,Cu)₃Sn₄(bottom) and (Cu,Ni)_(6)Sny(top). But IMC on electroless Ni-P layer were (Cu,Ni)_(6)Sn_(6) and changed into the dual structure only after long aging time of 500h. The growth rate of IMC with aging was higher on electrolytic Ni layer than on electroless Ni-P. The different behavior of electroless Ni-P/SAC joint came from Ni₃P formation between IMC and electroless Ni-P layer which retards diffusion of Ni and Sn to the opposite direction. The thickness of Ni₃P layer was propositional to that of IMC. For longer aging time, NiSnP layer was found at the interface between IMC and Ni₃P layer. Interestingly, in spite of low consumption rate of electroless Ni-P than electrolytic Ni layer by suppressing IMC growth, the interface of Ni-P/IMC was locally hollowed by the accelerated reaction of the Ni-P layer through local thickness reduction of Ni₃P and NiSnP layers. This reduced the effective remaining thickness of Ni-P layer.

      • 초고속 전송에 대한 Ultrashort Laser Pulse의 새로운 스펙트럼 분석

        본 논문에서는, Class-2 PRS 모델의 전달함수인 Raised-Cosine 펄스를 이용하여 극초단 레이저펄스의 전송특성을 분석하였다. 이는 Class-1 PRS 모델에서와 같이 부분응답시스템의 수정된 모델로부터 얻어지는 고차원펄스를 이용하여 그 차수의 증가에 따라 FWHM폭이 현저히 감소하여 분석하고자 하는 극초단펄스의 형태에 근접하는 펄스를 제시하였으며, 그 스펙트럼과 전송대역폭도 차수에 따라 일률적으로 유도되므로 Gaussian, Sech형태의 펄스 같은 고전적인 방법과는 달리 광범위하고 정확한 전송특성을 분석하는데 매우 유용함을 밝혔다. 먼저, 부분응답시스템의 일반적인 모델을 수정하여 어떤 형태의 고차원펄스도 적용할 수 있는 새로운 방법을 제안하였다. 그리고 제안된 모델을 이용하여 어떠한 형태의 FWHM을 가지는 극초단펄스의 전송에 대한 새로운 분석 방법을 제안하였다 제안된 방법을 사용하여, 설정 펄스 폭을 τ=1(㎰)으로 설정, 고차원펄스의 차수 n=1~100에서 얻어지는 FWHM 1(㎰)~100(fs)의 극초단펄스의 스펙트럼을 제시하였고, Class-2 PRS 모델의 FWHM 폭이 Class-1 PRS 모델보다는 차수 n에 따라서 약 50~100(fs)정도 좁은 FWHM 폭을 가짐을 밝혔다. 이에 대한 전송특성은 레이저펄스의 보편적인 신호방식인 Unipolar 체계로 설정하여, 가능한 펄스간격에 따른 PSD를 유도하여 제시하였다. 이러한 결과들은 고전적인 실험 방법과는 일치함을 물론 미래 극초단펄스 연구에 대한 혁신적인 방법으로 사용될 수 있을 것이다. In this paper, we analyze transmission characteristics of ultrashort laser pulses using the property of Raised-cosine pulse which are systematically obtained following Class-2 PRS model. The high-order pulses are easily derived from a modified PRS system model as Class-1 PRS model. This may be based on the fact that the spectra and bandwidths of the high-order pulses are beautifully related to their orders. And we make clear they are very useful to cover wider area and more accurate transmission characteristics of ultrashort pulses than Gaussian or Sech pulse approximations used conventionally. First modifying the generalized PRS system model, we propose a new model for deriving any type of high-order pulse. And we offer a novel analysis method of ultrashort pulse transmission which has any shape and FWHM, using the proposed model. In addition, by fixing the pulse range τ=1(㎰) and varying the order of the pulse from n=1 to n=100, we obtain spectra of ultrashort pulses with 1(㎰)~100(fs) FWHM's, and width of FWHM in the Class-2 PRS model 50~100(fs) smaller than Class-1 PRS model. As a one-step further, we derive PSD's of their pulse trains when they are applied to Unipolar signaling scheme. These PSD's are decided in the range of possible pulse intervals. All of these results are not only coincided with some conventional experimental works but also will be applied to any pioneering ultrashort pulse in the future.

        과학개념의 구성을 위한 하나의 과학 철학적 수업전략

        이 연구의 목적은 학생들의 최초의 정신모형을 과학적 모형으로 변화시키기 위하여 과학철학을 도입하는 것이다. 우리는 'Lakatos의 연구프로그램'과 '과학적 실재론'을 주요한 틀로 하여 수업순서를 포함한, 하나의 과학 철학적 수업전략을 제안하였다. 이 연구는 다음과 같이 크게 세 가지 나누었다. 첫째로, 왜 과학철학을 과학교육에 적용해야하는가? 둘째, 이러한 전략의 배경이 되는 이론적 배경을 무엇인가? 셋째, 우리가 제안한 과학 철학적 수업전략은 어떤 구조로 이루어져 있는가? 결론적으로, 우리가 제안한 수업전략들은 우리가 학생들에게 기존의 정신모형을 재 조작하도록 도와주어, 우리가 목표로 하는 과학적 모형으로 기존의 구조들에 새로운 차원들, 혹은 새로운 특징들을 더해주는 것이다. The purpose of this paper was to introduce the philosophy of science in order to change from students' initial mental models to scientific models. We propose strategies of classrooms of the philosophy of science through the 'Lakatosian Research Programme' and the 'Scientific Realism' to guide a framework. This study is divided into three parts. First, Why the philosophy of science is to be suggested to science education. Second, What the rationale of the strategies are? Third, What Our suggested strategies of classrooms of the philosophy of science consisted of ? In conclusively, our suggested strategies in teaching is to help students reorganize existing mental model structures or to add dimensions, and new features to existing structures for new scientific models.

        알코올 사용과 스트레스와의 관련성

        Objectives : This study was designed to assess the relationship between alcohol use and stress. Methods : The study subjects were 1,261 people who drink among the 2,565 people who lived in Gangneung. We investigated the sociodemographic characteristics, Short Form-12 (SF-12), Global Assessment of Recent Stress (GARS) and Alcohol Use Disorder Identification Test (AUDIT). Results : In Problem drinking group the GARS was significantly positively associated with the AUDIT (p=0.02). In Social drinking group sex (p<0.001) and age (p=0.02) is significantly associated with the AUDIT. Conclusion : This study showed the significantly positively association between stress and alcohol use. We think that the intervention and active management of the stress can prevent the alcohol problem.

        Four Years Reports of "Journal of Korean Neuropsychiatric Association" during 2001 to 2005 were evaluated by 18 Editorial Board of Korean Neuropsychiatric Association. We investigated the articles to specific fields and rejection rate etc. by different section chiefs. Although several problems concerning review time duration and rejection guideline issues indicated but generally all reviewer processes proved relatively clear and concise criteria. Through these objective and systematic evaluation Processes, "Journal of Korean Neuropsychiatric Association" will develop a good journal.

        만화 과제를 이용한 정신분열병 환자의 사회인지 능력의 측정

        Objectives : This study is to investigate the hypothesis that schizophrenic patients have difficulty in inferring mental state of others. Methods : Twenty schizophrenic patients and twenty normal subjects were administered to the Cartoon Task required inferring the character's intention in a given context. Results : The schizophrenic patients showed a statistically significant impairment in the Cartoon Task. Both groups chose the card depicting a frequent everyday action significantly more rather than the similar card to the last picture in each story for wrong answers. Conclusion : These preliminary results suggest that schizophrenia is associated with a specific deficit of the cognitive ability referred to as social cognition, and this deficit can be detected not only in the acute phase as found in previous research studies, but also in remission. Also when subjects fail to appreciate what is going on in the minds of other people, they seem to rely on a socially familiar experience.

        The main problems of computational complexity in object tracking were object definition, identification and segmentation in non-structured environments with erratic movements and object collisions. Therefore, for efficiency, we considered the object information as a region that corresponds to objects without discriminating among objects in the same frame. This paper describes the algorithm that, automatically and efficiently, recognizes and keeps tracks of interest-regions selected by a user in video or camera image sequences. The block-based feature matching method was used for region tracking. This matching process considers only dominant feature points such as corners , edges, bright and dark spots without requiring a pre-defined model of object s . Experimental results showed that matching process captured correct region successfully even when the objects undergo scaling and 3-dimensional movements in successive image sequences.
