        In Vitro Antiviral Activity of Ribavirin Against Severe Fever with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome Virus Myung Jin LEE1, Kye-Hyung KIM1, Jongyoun YI2, SuJin CHOI1, Chung-Jong KIM1, Nak- Hyun KIM1, Kyoung-Ho SONG1, Pyoeng Gyun CHOI1, Ji-Hwan BANG1, Wan Beom PARK1, Eu Suk KIM1, Sang-Won PARK1, Hong Bin KIM1, Nam Joong KIM1, Myoung- Don OH1 Seoul National University College of Medicine, Korea1, Pusan National University School of Medicine, Korea2 Background: Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) is an emerging infectious disease caused by a novel Bunyavirus, severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus (SFTSV). No effective antiviral therapy is proven yet, but clinical use of ribavirin (RBV) has been tried. We investigated the antiviral effect of RBV against SFTSV in vitro. Methods: To test for cytotoxicity of RBV, Vero cells were treated with different concentrations of RBV (3.90 to 500 μg/mL, two-fold dilution) and analyzed by cell viability MTS assay 48h post-infection. To determine antiviral activity of RBV against SFTSV, Vero cells were infected with SFTSV strain Gangwon/Korea/2012 at 100 TCID50 (50% tissue culture infective dose) per well in a 96-well plate, and RBV was added at the concentrations showing no or minimal cytotoxicity. Viral RNAs were extracted from the culture supernatants and quantifi ed using one-step real-time reverse transcription- PCR to amplify the partial large segment of SFTSV. Statistical analysis was done by one-way ANOVA with Tukey`s post hoc test. Results: Cytotoxicity due to RBV was not observed at RBV concentration =31.3 μg/ mL. Viral RNAs at 24h post-RBV treatment were reduced with increasing RBV concentrations (1-32 μg/mL), compared with those of mock-treated cells (P <0.01, Figure). Half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) of RBV was 3.69 μg/mL at 24h post-RBV treatment. Conclusions: Our study shows that RBV has antiviral effect against SFTSV in a dose-dependent manner. Further studies are required to evaluate the effi cacy of RBV in SFTS.

        1930년대 『불교』지 문학장의 구성과 문학적 실현 양상 - 편집인과 직원·기자를 중심으로 -

        근대 불교 잡지는 1912년에 간행된 『조선불교월보』를 기점으로 2~30종정도가 전해지는 것으로 알려져 있다. 이들 잡지 가운데 가장 안정적인 기반을 가지고 오랫동안 간행된 잡지는 단연 『불교』(전108호, 1924.7~1933.7)이다. 『불교』는 다양한 사상적 담론 외에 역사적 문화적 문학적 내용이 호마다 편제되어 있어 종합지적인 성격을 보여준다. 1920년대 『불교』지에 구현된 문학장에 대한 선행 고찰에 이어 본고에서는 1930년대의 문학장 구성의 주체와 그 문학적 실현 양상에 대해 살펴보았다. 연구 대상은 대표 편집인과 소속 직원 및 기자들이다. 이들은 단순히 행정적 역할만 한 것이 아니라 이 시기 문학장 구축의 주체로서 자리 잡고 있으며 실제로도 문학 작품 창작을 통해 문학장을 구현하는데 주도적 역할을 하고 있기 때문이다. 본고는 권상로에 이어 편집인으로 등장한 한용운이 새로운 편제를 통해 신진문사들을 다수 등장시킨 경과를 살펴보았고, 권두언에 새로운 산문시를 게재함으로써 문학지의 성격을 가미한 것을 확인하였다. 이렇게 구축한 [불교시단]을 통해 이 시대 새로 약진하는 강원, 전문학교 출신의 문학청년 40여 명이 시인으로 성장할 기회를 갖게 된다. 만해는 이들 신진 문사들, 불교문학청년들을 지면으로 이끌어내는데 좌장 역할을 한 것으로 평가할 수 있다. 이와 함께 김태흡, 도진호, 김일엽, 안진호 등 불교사의 전 현직 직원 및 기자(촉탁기자 포함)들은 시, 시조, 기행문, 수필, 희곡, 설화, 소설 등 다양한 양식을 활용하여 불교문학장을 확장하는데 기여하였다. 이들의 글은 1920년 말의 일반문인의 문학작품을 대체하면서 종교성과 시대성을 강화하는 1930년대 초의 경향성을 보여준다. With its starting point Joseon Buddhism Monthly Journal published in 1912, about 20~30 modern Buddhist journals have been created and known. Among them, the long-time published journal with the most stable foundation would be Bulgyo (Buddhism), published from July 1924 to July 1933, with a total 108 volumes. Buddhism was composed of historic, cultural, and literary contents other than ideological discourse, showing the character of a general journal. Following exploration of the previous studies on the literature field of Buddhism in the 1920’s, this study investigated the subject and power of a literature field in the 1930’s. The main targets were representative editors, associated personnel and reporters. They did not only conduct administrational works but acted as the subjects to form a literature field as well. In fact, they played an initiative role in embodying a literature field through creating literary works in reality. This study explores the new section created by Han Yong-un (Manhae), the editor who put his own poem in the beginning of the journal, adding a character of literature journal, and also the literary men he introduced through the section. During this process, about 40 new poets from monastic schools or professional schools made their debut through the section Buddhist Poems . Han Yong-un was the center of this change. In addition, former and present reporters including Kim Tae-heup, Doh Jin-ho, Kim Il-yeop, Ahn Jin-ho, etc., were active in various types of literary fields such as poetry, travelogues, essays, plays, novels and legendary stories, and they expanded the horizons of Buddhist literature. At the end of the 1920’s, their works substituted those of general writers and heralded the tendency of reinforcing religiosity and contemporaneity in literature in the 1930’s

        한국인 직무 스트레스 측정도구의 개발 및 표준화

        Background and Purposes: Over the past three decades, numerous studies performed in Korea have reported that job stress is a determinant risk factor for chronic diseases and work disability. Every society has its own culture and occupational climate particular to their organizations, and hence experiences different occupational stress. An occupational stress measurement tool therefore needs to be developed to estimate it objectively. The purpose of this study is to develop and standardize the Korean Occupational Stress Scale (KOSS) which is considered to be unique and specific occupational stressors in Korean employees. Subjects and Methods: Data were obtained from the National Study for Development and Standardization of Occupational Stress (NSDSOS Project: 2002-2004). A total of 12,631 employees from a nationwide sample proportional to the Korean Standard Industrial Classification and the Korean Standard Occupational Classification were administered. The KOSS was developed for 2 years (2002-2004). In the first year, we collected 255 items from the most popular job stress measurement tools such as JCQ, ERI, NIOSH and OSI, and 44 items derived from the a qualitative study (depth interview). Forty-three items of KOSS, in the second year, were retained for use in the final version of the KOSS by using Delphi and factor analysis. Items were scored using conventional 1-2-3-4 Likert scores for the response categories. Results: We developed eight subscales by using factor analysis and validation process: physical environment (3 items), job demand (8 items), insufficient job control (5 items), interpersonal conflict (4 items), job insecurity (6 items), organizational system (7 items), lack of reward (6 items), and occupational climate (4 items). Together they explained 50.0% of total variance. Internal consistency alpha scores were ranged from 0.51 to 0.82. Twenty-four items of the short form of the KOSS (KOSS-SF) were also developed to estimate job stress in the work setting. Because the levels of the subscales of occupational stress were gender dependent, gender-specific standard norms for both the 43-item full version and the 24-item short form using a quartile for the subscales of KOSS were presented. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that KOSS might be an appropriate measurement scale to estimate occupational stress of Korean employees. Further and more detailed study needs to be conducted to improve the validity of this scale.

The contents of Calcium has significant difference(p<.05) between 9.38±0.34㎎/㎗ pre-exercise and 9.34±0.29㎎/㎗ post-exercise, and the contents of Glucose has significant difference (p<.05) between 78.0±5.38㎎/㎗ pre-exercise and 81.3±5.91㎎/㎗ post-exercise. parathyroid hormone (PTH) is shown as 11.2±3.06pg/㎖ at pre-exercise arid 13.8± 4.41pg/㎖ at post-exercise, hyperparathyroidism and osteoporosis (Osteocalcin) is shown as 6.04±3.56ng/㎖ at pre-exercise and 5.29±4.92ng/㎖ at post exercise, there is no significant difference. Deoxypyridinoline is shown as like 8.18±2.43nM/mMcre pre-exercise arid 9.97±2.76nM/mMcre post-exercise, Alkaline phosphatase (ALP), which has an effect on the born disease, is shown 229.7±61.66[U/㎖ pre-exercise and 224.3±8.27 [U/㎖ post-exercise, there is significant difference(p<.0l). There is significant difference (p<.05) between Growth Hormone and Parathyroid hormone(PTH) which is bone absorption hormone, the Osteocalcin which is the mark of born-formation, there is no significant difference among the index of born formation mark, lipid, and hormones.

      • Azithromycin으로 치료한 임신 중 쓰쓰가무시병 1예

        We report a case of tsutsugamushi disease in a 26 year-old pregnant woman who was treated with azithromycin. Her gestation period was 27 weeks and she admitted with fever, rash, and eschar on the right shoulder. Currently recommended medications for the treatment of scrub typhus are doxycycline or chloramphenicol. But, these drugs are class D drugs according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Fetal Risk Summary, so they couldn't be used to treat pregnant women. Recently, a few case reports suggested that azithromycin, a relatively new macrolide antibiotic, was effective and safe for the treatment of scrub typhus in pregnant women. And, there is no evidence that azithromycin causes harmful effects to the developing fetus or to children. On the basis of current in vivo test that confirms the effectiveness of azithromycin, it may be the drug of choice for the treatment of scrub typhus in pregnant women and children.         DBD(Dielectric Barrier Dischages) plasma is often used to clean the surface of semiconductor. The cleaning performance is affected mainly by plasma density and duration time. In this study, the plasma density is predicted by coupled simulation of flow, chemistry mixing and reaction, plasma, and electric field. 13.56 MHz of RF source is used to generate plasma. The effect of dielectric thickness, gap distance, and flow velocity on plasma density is investigated. It is shown that the plasma density increases as the dielectric thickness decreases and the gap distance increases.

There is an urgent need for multicultural education than ever for recognizing differences and diverseness among the community members and for avoiding discrimination and exclusion. The formation of learners identity, understanding and respect for social diversity, realization of the society of equality and justice, development of good citizenship, and alternatives to multicultural cross-curricular education for the creation of new culture should also be urgently prepared.

        The purpose of this study was to reform practically a Korean Judo's Doechigi-Bon(Forms of Counterattack, judo's Gaeshi no Kata, Judo's Uradori no Kata, Judo's Gonosen no Kata) that was established in 1955 Korea, according to changing of techniques by Judo's modernization, in order to have Judo's carefulness and systematic diffusion.       • 의무고용제도 재설계 방안

        현행 우리나라 의무고용제도는 장애인구의 급격한 증가, 장애인차별금지 및 권리구제 등에 관한 법률의 도입 등 외부환경변화에 신축적으로 대처하지 못하고, 경증장애인 중심으로 의무고용제도가 운영됨으로써 중증장애인의 고용배제가 우려되고 있다. 본 보고서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 의무고용제도의 일자리 확대와 고용증가를 통해 중증장애인의 고용기회를 확대할 수 있는 정책방안을 제시하기 위한 것이다. 본 보고서는 (1)의무고용 사업체의 의무고용 산정인원에서 자립장애인 제외 (2)현행 2% 의무고용률을 3%로 상향 조정 (3)사업체가 고용하는 중증장애인에 대한 더블카운트(2배) 가산제도 도입 (4)의무고용률 미달 사업주에 대한 부담금 차등징수의 4가지 정책방안, 제도 합리화 차원에서 장려금 지급방식의 개선과 사업주의 장애인에 대한 인식개선 방안을 제시하였다. 정책방안에 대한 영향분석 결과 의무고용 적용대상자에서 비장애인과 고용상 차별되지 않는 자립장애인(6등급)을 의무고용 산정인원에서 제외하는 경우 의무고용 사업체의 고용인원은 23,296명이 감소해 고용률은 1.35%에서 0.88%로 감소하였고, 의무고용 사업체의 장애인 일자리 수는 미고용인원의 증가로 15,152개가 증가하였다. 그리고 기금은 부담금이 631억원 증가하고, 장려금이 352억원 감소해 983억원의 수지개선 효과가 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 의무고용 사업주의 의무고용률 3% 인상 방안은 의무고용률 상향 조정에 따른 미고용인원의 증가로 장애인의 일자리 수는 43,101개가 증가하고, 기금은 부담금이 1,709억원 증가하는 반면, 장려금은 293억원이 감소해 2,002억원의 수지개선 효과가 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 의무고용 사업주가 고용하는 중증장애인을 2인으로 더블카운트 하는 중증장애인 가산제도의 도입은 의무고용 사업체의 장애인근로자가 67,261명에서 79,685명(1,2등급만 포함시 75,685명)으로 증가하여 고용률은 1.35%에서 1.60%(1.2등급만 포함시 1.52%)로 증가하고, 의무고용률 미달 사업체의 미고용 인원이 감소하여 2,745개의 일자리가 감소하였다. 그리고 기금은 부담금이 118억원 감소하는 반면, 장려금은 418억원이 증가해 536억원의 수지악화가 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 의무고용률 미달 사업체의 고용유인을 위해 고용률 1.0%미만, 1.0-1.5%, 1.6-2.0% 미만에 대해 각각 20%, 10%, 5%의 할증률을 순차적으로 가중하여 부과하는 부담금 차등징수 방안(3차년까지의 효과임)은 1.0% 미만 사업주는 86만원, 1.0-1.5% 사업주는 64만원, 1.6-2.0% 미만 사업주는 58만원의 부담기초액을 부과할 때 고용률은 1.35%에서 1.53%로 증가(1.6-2.0% 미만 사업주는 의무고용률 2%를 달성)하고, 미고용인원의 감소로 장애인의 일자리는 8,836개가 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 기금은 부담금이 58억원 감소하여 수지는 악화되었다. 이상의 네 가지 방안은 모두 장애인의 고용증대를 가져온다는 측면에서는 유효하지만, 장애인의 일자리 확대를 통한 중증장애인의 고용을 증대한다는 정책목표를 달성하는 데에는 한계점을 안고 있기 때문에 어느 한 정책만을 선택하기보다는 정책효과를 극대화하기 위해 정책결합(policy mix)을 이용하는 것이 바람직함을 제시해주었다. 즉, 의무고용 적용대상자 조정방안/의무고용률 상향조정 방안과 중증장애인 가산제도/부담금 차등징수 방안을 조합 또는 모두 동시에 선택하는 경우 의무고용 사업체의 장애인 일자리 수의 확대와 중증장애인 고용을 동시에 달성하고, 기금의 수지균형도 달성 가능한 것으로 나타났다. The mandatory employment quota system of Korea does not reflect the changing external factors such as the growing population of people with disabilities(PWDs) and the enactment of the Anti-discrimination Law for People with Disabilities. The current employment quota system focuses on people with mild disabilities thus excluding people with severe disabilities from employment. The purpose of this report is to propose a plan in order to increase employment opportunity for the severely disabled through the reform of the employment quota system. This report analyzes the following : (1) exclude grade 6 disability from mandatory employment quota (2) raise the employment quota from 2% to 3% (3) implement the double counting for employers that employ the severely disabled (4) differentiate the amount of levy collected from corporations that are unable to meet the quota. The aforementioned plans are useful in that they increase employment for people with disabilities. However, there are limitation to reaching the policy objectives by increasing jobs for people with severe disabilities. Therefore, to maximize the effects we should consider policy mix of these four policies. In other words, by mixing the policies of adjusting the employment quota target/raising the quota ratio and implementing the double count/differentiating the amount of levy, we can achieve the goal of increasing jobs for the severely disabled and maintain equilibrium between incomings and outcomings.

      • 경찰관의 운동참여에 따른 직무 Stress와 직무만족에 관한 연구

        This study is for the purpose of examining effects related to duty stress & duty satisfaction due to Police of officers' Physical exercise participation, helping more efficient duty Performance, and positive self-formation. Furthermore, providing basic data that can be helpful to the improvement of police duty. The objects of the study were police officers who were taking part in education program in Police Comprehensive Academy, and the number of police officers who answered the questionnaire is 356 police officers, but data used for real analyzation consist of 300 police officers. The tools for the study were based on Ivancevich's duty stress model in order to measure stress. And also questionnaire used on Kim yoon hee, Kim mae ja, Jo kyung soon, Lee hart kyung's study was used as a complementary tool. The instrument for measuring duty satisfaction rate was developed by Paula. And I used the instrument based on questionnaire that was used by Ko hee soon, Park ki hyung, Kim bum sik, Lee jong kil, Lim bun jang, Jo young chang, Hackeman, Lawlar and Oldham's study. Data analysis is Processed statistically with SPSS/PC+, I Performed T-verification, ANOVA-verification in accordance with the purpose of study after getting the percentage and the real number in case of general characteristics of the objects, and examine an average and standard variation in case of duty satisfaction and duty stress rate. And I set an err rate to 0.5. I verificated co-relation between stress and duty satisfaction with Pearson Correlation Coefficient. The result of the study is as follows, The first, among sociological characteristic and external factor of duty satisfaction, The married is more significant statistically(p< .01, p<.05) compared to the unmarried in terms of compensation system and working condition , which are subfactor of duty satisfaction . In terms of the length of one's service, the longer service term one has the higher significance level one shows in compensation system, working condition, safety, and external factor which are sub-factors of duty satisfaction In terms of an academic background, one who graduated from a high school shows significance statistically only in working condition which is a subfactor of duty satisfaction compared to other people (p<0.5) The second, among sociological characteristic and internal factor of duty satisfaction, the married is more significant statistically(P<.05) compared to the unmarried in terms of achievement which is a subfactor of duty satisfaction. In terms of age the older one shows higher significance level in stability which is a subfactor of duty satisfaction compared to younker one(p<.05) In terms of the length of one's service the longer service term one has ,the higher significance level one shows(p<.01, p<.05).
