We analyzed the chirp sound and behavior of Teleogryllus emma with observation system, which was consisted of computer, ccd-camera and microphone. Computational methods of wavelet transformation and Self-Organizing Maps (SOM) were utilized to characterized the chirp sound of insect species for automatic counting in this study. Wavelets were initially applied to feature extraction of the chirp sound. Wavelet coefficients were accordingly calculated based on the basis function (e.g., Morlet). The obtained coefficients were subsequently provided to count number of chirps in each song. Sound structure of insect specimens consisted with long chirp and short chirp and the patterns of song were grouped by frequency of long chirp and short chirp. The song patterns of insect specimens were divided by Self-Organizing Map (SOM) that was used number of chirp as input data. Application of computational methods to automatic detection of chirp sound was further discussed for obtaining objective assessment in behavior science.
2003년 국내 중증급성호흡기증후군 진료 현황 및 문제점 분석

목적 : 2002년 말 중국에서 SARS가 발생한 이후 국내에서도 2003년 10월까지 총 3명의 추정환자, 17명의 의심환자가 보고되었다. 향후 추가적인 SARS의 유행이 우려되는 상황에서, 그간의 SARS 환자 진료에 있어서의 실질적인 준비사항, 진료 현황 등에 대한 조사를 통해 문제점을 파악하여, 향후 더 나은 대비가 될 수 있도록 개선점을 제시하고자 하였다. 재료 및 방법 : SARS로 의심되는 환자를 진료 경험이 있는 병원의료진을 대상으로 2003년 10월에 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문에는 SARS 환자 진료 시의 실질적인 조치, 진료 현황, 병실, 응급실 및 외래에서의 격리 시설과 준비사항, 보건당국의 관리와 지원에 관한 사항을 포함하였다. 결과 : 대상이 되는 22개 병원 중 17개(17/22, 77.2%) 병원이 설문에 응하였다. SARS 환자를 위한 격리실은 응급실, 외래, 일반병실 및 중환자실에서 각각 9개(9/17, 52.9%), 5개(5/17, 29.4%), 15개(15/16, 93.7%), 4개(4/16, 25%) 병원에서 음압처리가 되어있지 않은 일인실 혹은 다인실이 사용되었고, 1개(1/16, 6.3%) 병원에서만 일반병실에서 음압격리실이 운영되었다. 입원환자의 진찰 시 개인보호구의 착용은 거의 모든 의료기관에서 이루어졌다. 보건당국에서 SARS지정병원의 시설 등을 사전에 확인한 곳은 1곳(1/12, 8.3%)이였고, 14개 병원(14/15, 93.3%)에서는 보건당국에 의뢰한 검사결과를 통하 받지 못하였다. 결론 : 의료기관에서 SARS 환자용 격리실뿐만 아니라 기존의 격리실 설비 등이 미흡하였으며, 특히 중환자실 및 외래의 준비가 더욱 부족하였다. 보건당국의 의료기관에 대한 종합적인 지원이 부족하였고, 병원과의 원활한 연계가 잘 이루어지지 않았다. SARS 만이 아닌 격리를 필요로 하는 질환의 적절한 진료를 위해 향후 병원 시설의 정비와 정부차원에서의 보다 구체적이고 실질적인 대책마련이 필요하다. Background : There was an worldwide outbreak of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) originated from China in late 2002. During that period three cases of suspected SARS and 17 cases of probable SARS were reported in Korea. With the concerns about the reemergence of SARS-coV transmission, it is important to be prepared for any possibility. So, this study is aimed to analysis the past measures in managing SARS and propose the amendatory plans to improve the preparedness. Materials & Methods : Questionnaires were collected among clinicians with any experience in managing the probable or suspected SARS cases in Oct. 2003. 17 out of 22 hospitals responded to the questionnaire. The contents in the questionnaire were practical activities, personal equipments, response plans, isolation facilities in emergency centers, outpatient clinics, general wards and intensive care units, and relationship with the public health department. Results : The dedicated isolation rooms in emergency centers, outpatient clinics, general wards, and intensive care units were prepared in 9 (9/17, 52.9%), 5 (5/17, 29.4%), 15 (15/16, 93.7%), and 4 (4/16, 25.0%) hospitals, respectively. Except for one hospital that newly made negative pressure room for SARS, single or multi-bed rooms without airborne infection control were used in all the other hospitals. The personal precaution principles were kept quite well in general wards. Before the designation of SARS hospital by the public health department prior evalution to see if the hospital was suitable for managing SARS was conducted in only 1 (1/12, 8.3%) hospital. The results of laboratory diagnosis were reported back in 1 (1/15, 6.6%) hospital. Conclusions : The isolation facilities which can control airborne infection were almost deficient not only for SARS but also for other respiratory transmissible diseases. For the infection control of transmissible diseases including SARS, more investment is needed on medical facilities and comprehensive support from the public health department required.

The study is concerned with all small and medium size cities. Study on the major purpose is to identify the domanial factors and their change for the growth of small and medium size cities through the analysis of correlation with growth rate. It could be done by case study of growth trends of all existing small and medium size cities for analysis period. The analysis results are summarized as follow : 1. Inevitably, the classification standards of the small and medium sized level in an urban hierarchy may vary among countries, depending on their pattern of urban settlement, level of development, and economic structure, population density, etc. But, the most convenient and frequently used criterion for identifying small and medium sized cities is relative population size because the city is proportional to the functional complexity. 2. The major factors affecting growth of small and medium size cities are POP, FIN, HIS, i.e., in 1986's. and the most dominant factor among them is POP, and The major factors affecting growth of small and medium sized cities are HIS, SAC, ASS, i.e., in 1996's, and the most dominant factor is HIS. 4. As the result, in small and medium size cities three variables, i.e., POP, HIS, SAC-are selected as the general factors concerned with urban population growth.
건설 프로젝트에서 D-virus가 안전에 미치는 영향에 관한 기초적 연구

Construction site has contributed to construction productivity improvement by utilizing information, simplification, and standardization concept. Also it has contributed to quality and productivity improvement by standardizing design and construction process, using them to a fair decision-making process by organizing diverse data in construction process. However, construction process has diverse variables and uncertain case due to particularity in construction. These parts have an effect on construction process. To use unorganic construction information and knowledge properly has become the factor to project success. Therefore, this study analyzes that D-virus of the uneasy factors has an effect on safety control of construction industry. That is to say, aim of the study is to suggest the solution to remove those after confirming for these factors to have certain effect in construction process through fact finding survey and retesting the factors of D-virus to refer in business management in a constructive position.

이 논문의 목적은 광양항 컨테이너부두 배후부지의 개발방향과 활성화 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해서 우선, 배후부지의 개발과 운영에 관련된 계획, 법규 및 국내외 사례를 검토한 후, 배후부지 유치대상 기능과 주요시설을 규명하고, 개발 기본구상도와 단계별 개발계획안을 제시한다. 배후부지 개발사업의 활성화를 위해 정부의 정책적 지원방안 및 관련조직간의 협조방안과 배후부지 입주업체의 유치방안을 제시한다. 아울러 배후부지 개발의 기대효과 및 최근 경제상황에 따른 건의사항을 제시한다. In this paper we try to make suggestions for the development and promotion for the hinterland of the Kwangyang container port. First, we investigated the development plan, the law and several cases related to the development and operation of the port hinterland. Then we propose a scheme to develop the hinterland and define major functions and facilities for the hinterland. For the promotion of the hinterland, we suggest several roles of the government organizations to activate functions of the hinterland and ideas to attract customers. Finally, we suggest an expected effect according to the development of the hinterland and propose a proper way of the development considering the recent Korean economic situation.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between the housewives conflict level and coping behavior, and find out how independent variables(the age of housewife, level of education, socio economic status, durations of marriage, employment, number of children) have an effect on two dependent variables. The research problems are as follow : 1) How independent variables influence on the level of conflict. 2) How independent variables influence on the coping behavior. 3) How relate the level of conflict and the coping behavior. Two instruments were administrated to 328 housewives in Seoul, in March, 1989. The first instrument, 22 item questionnaire, made by investigator, was developed based upon Lee Soon, and Moon Sung Soon, The second instrument, based upon Ilfeid, F., and modified to be appropriate to Korean culture. Data was analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean and t-test, F-test, Pearson-r, Scheffe-test. The results are summarize as follow : 1) Most housewives show the middle level of conflict. 2) Among independent variables, the ages of housewife(p<.05), socio economic status(p<.001), employment(p<.01), were variables to have influence on the level of conflict. 3) Housewives coping behaviors were relatively middle level. 4) Among independent variables, the ages of housewife(p<.01) the level of education(p<.01), socio economic status(p<.01) were variables to have influence on the coping behavior. 5) There were very low positive correlation(r=.18, p<.001) between the level of conflict and Avoidance, Repression style. From this results, more objective methods and research both sides of husbands and wives, are needed to develop the study of conflict and coping behavior.
유도 전동기의 속도 제어를 위한 견실한 퍼지 제어기 설계

본 연구에서는 최근 많은 관심이 되고 있는 퍼지 제어알고리즘을 이용하여 유도 전동기의 견실한 속도 제어기를 설계한다. 퍼지 제어는 설계자의 의지에 따라 제어기 성능이 결정되기 때문에 견실한 제어기 설계를 위하여 스케일 팩터의 선정법을 제안하였다. 실험 결과, 퍼지 제어기의 제어 성능 및 외란 특성이 종래의 비례-적분 제어기에 비하여 우수함을 입증하였다.

A Linear Stepping Motor (LSM) can operate in an open loop control mode similarly to a rotary stepping motor. However, the LSM occur error between the actual mover position and the ideal position. In this paper, a position accuracy improvement method using an energy stored in winding inductance of the LPM is proposed.
Digital Signal Processor를 이용한 유도전동기의 벡터제어

This paper is described a method which performs an on-line minimization of the inverter switching sequence. Input quantities of a Digital Signal Processor are the stator current vector components and angular frequency of rotor. These are used to control the current vector trajectory in the complex plane such that a minimum spatial error with respect to the reference vector is maintained. A predictive algorithm is implemented in the switching frequency of PWM inverter system. The optimization is effective under all operating conditions including transients and steady-stated. Also, this predictive control implemented a Digital Signal Processor is proposed for the application of real time control with the Induction Motor.
