Background : In recent years, gonorrhea has been panedemic and remains one of the most commom STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. Objective & Methods: For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of PPNG, we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the VD Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by means of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. Results: In 1996, 139 strains of N. gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 53(39.0%) were PPNG. Conclusion: Our results suggests that after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, the prevalence of PPNG in Seoul is gradually declining.
원위 대퇴골의 고립성 골연골종에서 발생한 속발성 연골 육종 1례 보고

연골육종은 비교적 서서히 자라며 늦게 전이하는 악성 연골 종양으로 알려져 있다. 골 연골종에서 발생한 속발성 연골육종은 발생빈도는 드물며 타부위로의 전이가 적고 악성도가 낮은 경우가 많아 적합한 수술적 치료로서 좋은 예후를 보이는 것으로 보고되고 있다. 본 동국대학교 정형외과학 교실에서는 우측 대퇴골 원위부 골간단부에 생긴 고립성 골 연골종에서 이차적으로 발생한 연골육종을 치험한 바 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Secondary chondrosarcomas arising from a solitary osteocartilaginous exostosis are rare and those have a better prognosis than other chondrosarcomas, and they rarely metastasize. We present our experience with a case of secondary chondrpsarcoma arising in solitary osteochondroma of distal metaphysis of right femur with clinical details.
동적-외연적 유한요소법을 이용한 Hydro-forming 공정에 관한 연구

In the present work, a finite element formulation using dynamic-explicit time integration scheme is used for numerical analysis of Hydro-forming processes. The lumping scheme is employed for the diagonal mass matrix and dynamic explicit formulation. Hydro-forming process for auto-body panel forming has been analyzed by using dynamic-explicit finite element method. Further, the simulated results for the Hydro-forming processes are shown and discussed. Its application is being increased especially in the automotive industrial area for the cost reduction, weight saving, and improvement of strength.

Finite element method is very effective method to simulate the forming Processes with good prediction of the deformation behaviour. For the finite element modeling of sheet mental forming the accurate tool model is required. Due to the geometrical complexity of real-size Part stamping tools it is hard to make FE model for real-size auto-body stamping parts. In this paper, it was focussed on the drawability factors on auto-body panel stamping by AUTOFORM with using tool planing alloy to reduce law price as well as high precision from Design Optimization of die. According to this study. the results of simulation will give engineers good information to access the Design Optimization of die.

This research aims to clearly reveal the purpose of physical education based on Aristotle's sports philosophy. According to Aristotle, the objective of physical education is to maintain and improve health. This suggests a theoretical background for the so-called "health first" phenomenon these days. That is, Aristotle emphasizes the body as living matter as he believes form cannot be practical without matter. He sees physical health, one of the conditions for human happiness, is possible only though physical education. Also, Aristotle maintains that the aim of physical education is to raise courage. He understands that courage, the middle-path feeling between fear and easiness, can be brought up through physical education. In particular, he holds that youngsters with no physical education can fall vulgar and mean. In sum, Aristotle considers that man's spirit and body are both affected by physical education, which serves as a theoretical background for the discipline of physical education. Therefore, Aristotle's sports philosophy makes us realize that physical education is not a secondary study, but a main academic research which has begun with the humankind and contributed a lot to human happiness.
고속전철 추진 시스템의 미끄럼 방지 제어기법에 관한 연구

Induction motor drive with PWM inverter control has been developed for Korean High Speed Railways. To improve traction performance, the anti-slip control(ASC) to recover adhesion must be considered. This paper describes a novel hybrid anti-slip control method for the induction motor drive. By introducing the vector control for drive system, quick response of the motor torque can be achieved when wheels are going to slip. A hybrid control scheme by mixing two conventional control methods (slip velocity feedback control and slip detection pattern control) for wheel slip and re-adhesion is proposed. This control method is simulated by motor drive, train load, and friction-creep models. The train running simulation results based on induction motor vector control with PWM inverter show that good re-adhesion characteristics are obtained.

Neonatal lupus is a rare syndrome occurring In neonates with tranplacentally acquired maternal autoantibodies, In particular anti-SSA/Ro-SSB/Ra antibodies. Manifestations include congenital heart block, cutaneous lesions, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, pulmonary or neurological disease and hepatitis. The non-cardiac manifestations resolve by 6 months of age, congenital heart block is irreversible. We experienced a case of neonatal lupus with congenital complete heart block in a newborn of asyptomatic mother with anti-SSA/Ro-SSB/Ra antibodies.

In the present work a finite element formulation using dynamic explicit time integration scheme is used for numerical analysis of auto-body panel stamping processes. The lumping scheme is employed for the diagonal mass matrix and linearizing dynamic forming. Analyzed auto-panel stomping process correction of forming using common use software called Dynaform using dynamic extensive method. Further, the simulated results for the total auto-body panel stamping processes are shown and discussed. Its application is being increased especially in the automotive industrial area for the cost reduction. weight saving, and improvement of strength.
