        In recent years, gonorrhea has been pandemic and remains one of the most common STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae(PPNG), we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the Venereal Disease Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by menas of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. In 1998, 93 strians of N. genorrhoeae were isolated, among which 60(64.5%) were PPNG. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul, which had been decreased to 39% in 1996 after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, is increased to 64.5% in 1998.

        2016년 3월 31일부터 7월 31일까지 서울특별시 서초구 서초동에 위치한 서울고등학교 교정 일대를 서울고등학교 환경생물부 부원들이 채집 조사한 결과 20과 43속 53종의 거미가 조사 연구되어 이에 보고하는 바이다. From March 31st to July 31st in 2016, members of an environmental biology club at Seoul High School located in Seocho-gu, Seoul, Dae-Hee Kim, Dong-Woo Park, Jae-Woong Seo and Hyun-woo Lee, collected 20 families 43 genera 53 species of spiders and report the result of the study here.

        Experiments wer conducted to investigate of rootstocksk on the growth, yield and quality of oriental melon cultivars and to find out problems associated with successful growing of grafted seedlings. Major results can be summarized as follows. 1. The percentage of healthy plants, sintozwa and chamtozwa were 100, while hongtozwa and chambak were less than 11.8. 2. The growth of oriental melon was promoted by non-grafted and sintozwa root stock. 3. Soluble solid contents of non-grafted and chamtozwa rootstock were hight than sintozwa rootstock. 4. Glucose and Fructose contents of sintozwa rootstock was hihter than chamtozwa rootstock. Whereas, sucrose contents of non-grafted was hiher than sintozwa, chamtozwa rootstock. 5. Grafting onto sintozwa rootstock increased the contents of most mineral element except Ca in the leaves.

        특수학급의 이러닝 활용 실태와 요구 조사

        특수교육 분야에서는 이러닝을 통하여 장애학생 교육 서비스의 양적·질적 발전을 위한 다각적인 노력을 모색하고 있다. 그러나 특수교육 현장의 실제 활용 실태와 이와 관련된 구체적인 요구에 대한 기초연구가 부족하여 효과적인 이러닝 실행을 위한 지원 방향을 수립하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 특수학급 교사들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 특수학급의 이러닝 관련 환경과 활용 실태를 탐색하였고, 특수학급구성원들이 가지고 있는 이러닝 실행과 관련된 요구를 밝혔으며, 이를 바탕으로 특수학급에서 이러닝을 효과적으로 운영하고 실행하기 위한 시사점을 제시하였다. E-learning is learning that utilizes contents crafted based on multimedia and hyper media via diverse information technologies. It enables teaching and learning to allow disabled students to utilize contents crafted with diverse latest techniques, thereby expanding the forum of learning. Thus, the special education area is making diverse efforts to achieve quantitative and qualitative development of educational services for disabled students through e-learning. However, since basic research is lacking with regard to the actual utilization status of e-learning and corresponding needs in special education, an appropriate support direction for performing e-learning cannot be determined. Against such a backdrop, this research surveyed the e-learning status and needs in special classes. Likewise, it surveyed the environment and utilization status of computers, software, and assistive technology that special classes in 'B' and 'D' city owned for e-learning. It also surveyed hardware and software requirements for effectively performing e-learning in special classes.

        Bovine botulism outbreak associated with incidental consumption of presumably contaminated leftover food

        Nine cattle among 18 in a native Korean herd died or were euthanized within 3 days. The affected cattle showed cowshed. The pigs and dogs had been fed leftover food originating from nearby restaurants, and the cattle could presumably reach the contaminated food in the pig troughs. Necropsy revealed a few chicken bones and red pepper pieces as well as large amounts of grain and rice straw hay mixed in the rumen. Botulism type D was isolated in the ruminal contents of one of the cattle. We speculated that the outbreak was associated with the cattle incidentally eating presumably contaminated leftover food from the pig trough.

      • 민감도 분석을 이용한 필릿용접용 용접변수 선정에 관한 연구

        Arc welding process is one of the most important technologies to join metal plates. Robotic welding offers the reduced manufacturing cost sought, but its widespread use demands a means of sensing and correcting for inaccuracies in the part, the fixturing, and the robot. A number of problems that need to be addressed in robotic arc welding processes include sensing, joint tracking, and lack of adequate mathematical models for parameter prediction and quality control, Problems with parameter settings and quality control occur frequently in the GMA(Gas Metal Arc) welding process because of the large number of interactive parameters that must be set and accurately controlled. The objectives of this paper are to realize the mapping characteristics of bead width using a sensitivity analysis and develop the neural network and multiple regression method, and finally select the most accurate model in order to control the weld qua1ity(bead width) for fillet welding. The experimental results show that the proposed neural network estimator can predict bead width with reasonable accuracy, and guarantee the uniform weld quality.

      • 리튬이 도핑된 막을 이용한 실리콘-실리콘 접합

        Silicon-to-silicon anodic bonding was accomplished using lithium doped interlayer. Lithium doped interlayers were deposited on silicon substrates by electron beam evaporation, which has a fast deposition rate compared with sputtering method. Silicon-to-silicon bonding occurs in the range of temperatures from 250℃ to 300℃ with the applied voltages from 70V_(DC) to 100V_(DC). The bonding strength obtained from tensile test was about 5MPa under the condition of 80V_(DC) in 300℃. The surface morphology of lithium doped interlayer was studied with the atomic force microscopy (AFM). Finally, secondary ion mass spectroscopy (SIMS) analysis was carried out in order to investigate the role of the lithium ions in bonding mechanism.

        선천성 결손치에 관한 임상적 연구

        The congenital missing of teeth is common, which takes place since the proliferation and differentiation are not allowed in that tooth bud fail to start development. The purpose of this study is to research incidence rate, number, and missing part of congenital missing teeth, and to study whether a person who has missing teeth has other abnormality of teeth or not. For this study, 1,520 subjects(aged 2.9~17) who had visited pediatric dentist department of Chonbuk national university dental hospital within 2 years were examined with an panoramic radiograph ; exempting third molar missing state. The obtained results are as follows. 1. 8.88% among total subjects show missing teeth ; male 9.05%, female 8.64% 2. The most frequently missing permanent teeth were the mandibular second premolars(22.3%). The most frequently missing primary teeth are mandibular lateral incisors(50%). 3. 43.3% patients have one permanent missing tooth, 34.3% have two, and 10.4% have more than six, respectively. In primary teeth, 86.7% patients have one missing tooth, and 13.3% have two missing teeth. 4. 18 patients(13.3%) have missing teeth as well as hyperdontia, while some patients have microdont, ectopic eruption, and fusion teeth. 치아의 선천성 결손은 치배의 발육이 시작되지 못하여 치아의 증식, 분화가 일어나지 못함으로서 발생하는 흔한 치아의 발육 이상이다. 이 연구의 목적은 선천성 결손치의 발생률, 결손치의 수, 발생부위와 결손치 환자에게서 나타난 다른 치아이상의 발생여부를 조사하는 것이다. 본 연구는 2006년 7월부터 2008년 6월까지 전북대학교 소아치과에 내원하여 파노라마를 촬영한 1,520명의 환자(2.9~17세)를 대상으로 제 3 대구치를 제외한 선천성 결손치의 분포를 조사하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 전체 1,520명 중 총 8.88%에서 결손치가 관찰되었으며, 남자가 9.05%, 여자가 8.64%에서 결손치가 관찰되었다. 2. 총 350개의 영구 결손치 중 하악 제 2 소구치가 22.3%로 가장 발생률이 높았고, 하악 측절치, 상악 제 2 소구치, 하악 중절치, 상악 측절치 순이었다. 또한 총 18개의 유치 결손치 중 하악 유측절치가 가장 높은 발생률(50%)을 보였다. 3. 1개의 영구치 결손치를 가지는 환자는 43.3%, 2개는 34.3%, 3개는 6,7%, 4개는 1.5%, 5개는 3.7%, 6개 이상은 10.4%이었다. 또한 유치 결손치의 수는 1개는 86.7%, 2개는 13.3%이었다. 4. 결손치가 있는 환자 중 과잉치를 가지는 환자는 18명(13.3%)이 있었으며, 왜소치, 이소맹출, 융합치 등의 치아이상을 지닌 환자도 관찰되었다.
