Idiopathic calcinosis of the scrotum consists of multiple asymptomatic nodules of the scrotum without any underlying disease. We presented a case of idiopathic calcinosis of the scrotum and compared it with other reported cases in Korea. A 47-year-old farmer had slowly growing, asymptomatic, hard scrotal nodules which were 1cm in diameter and 6 in number for about twenty years. KUB X-ray film showed two radiopaque densities on the scrotal area. Histopathological finding revealed amorphous, basaphilic masses with acicular clefts which were confirmed as calcification in Von Kossa stain and surrounding foreign body granulomatous inflammatory reaction.

포켓몬 유니버스(Universe)의 매체변용과 스토리텔링 확장 <포켓몬 GO>를 중심으로

The Pokemon Universe has been expanded in various ways through the interaction of Pokemon contents and different storytelling according to media change. In this paper, we examined how Pokemon contents can develop and grow through Pokemon Universe through Pokemon GO, which is a typical technology convergence content. As a result of the research, it was confirmed that Pokemon GO succeeded the identity of Pokemon Universe, and achieved technical and media - friendly storytelling. Also, we found that narrative structure such as the development, design, and story of technology convergence contents are different from existing media centering on AR technology. Specifically, the Pokemon Universe expands into the Pokemon GO Universe and coexists as an independent universe. The Pokemon GO universe shares the same universe, while the time inside the media crosses the actual time and new storytelling. Second, as augmented reality technology is applied in accordance with the change of the game narrative structure, the character of Pokemon GO is transformed into an organic form that can lead the daily experience of the game user, not the completed hero type.As the narrative is formed through the users’ small routine experience, more stereoscopic character composition and design can be done. Third, media - friendly narrative structure suitable for augmented reality creates new storytelling based on experience narratives of game users. The new storytelling redesigns the space, time, location, and information existing around the user who is a game user, and the everydayness created through everyday experience is important in the augmented reality contents. 포켓몬 유니버스는 포켓몬 콘텐츠의 상호작용과 매체변화에 따른 차별적인 스토리텔링을 통해 다양하게 확장되고 있다. 기술은 새로운 미디어와 콘텐츠 양식을 가능하게 하고, 이에 따라 기존 스토리텔링 방식에도 변화를 불러온다. 본 논문에서는 대표적인 기술융합 콘텐츠인 <포켓몬 GO>를 통해 포켓몬 콘텐츠가 포켓몬 유 니버스를 통해 어떻게 발전하고 성장할 수 있는지를 살펴보았다. 또한, <포켓몬 GO>를 통해 향후 기술융합 콘텐 츠의 설계와 스토리텔링 방식에 대한 고찰과 분석을 진행하다. 연구 결과, <포켓몬 GO>는 포켓몬 유니버스의 정체성을 이어받으면서도 기술 및 매체 친화적 스토리텔링을 이뤄낸 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 AR기술을 중 심으로 기술융합콘텐츠의 개발과 설계, 스토리 등 서사구조가 기존 매체와 차이가 있음을 밝혔다. 구체적으로 살 펴보면 첫째, 포켓몬 유니버스는 포켓몬 GO 유니버스로 확장되면서, 독립적인 유니버스로 공존하는 것으로 나타 났다. 포켓몬 GO 유니버스는 동일한 유니버스를 공유하면서도 미디어 안의 시간이 실제 시간과 교차하면서 새롭 게 스토리텔링한다. 둘째, 게임 서사구조의 변화에 따라 증강현실 기술이 접목되면서, <포켓몬 GO>의 캐릭터는 완성된 웅형이 아니라 게임이용자의 일상적 경험을 주도할 수 있는 유기적인 형태로 변용되었다. 이용자들의 소 소한 일상적 경험을 통해 서사가 구성되면서 더욱 입체적인 캐릭터 구성과 설계를 할 수 있다. 셋째, 증강현실에 적합한 매체친화적인 서사구조는 게임이용자의 경험서사를 중심으로 새롭게 스토리텔링을 창출한다. 새로운 스토 리텔링은 게임이용자인 나를 중심으로 실존하는 공간과 시간, 위치, 정보들로 재설계되며, 경험을 통해 창출되는 일상성은 증강현실 콘텐츠에서 중요성을 갖는다.

지각된 사회적 지지, 탈중심화, 삶의 의미가 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향: 대리 외상을 경험한 성폭력 지원기관 종사자들을 대상으로

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of perceived social support, decentering, meaning in life on posttraumatic growth of sexual violence trauma center workers who experienced vicarious trauma. For this purpose, 134 trauma workers in sexual violence center located nationwide in South Korea, were asked to complete Perceived Social Support Scale, Decentering Scale, Meaning in Life scale, PostTraumatic Growth Inventory, Secondary PostTraumatic Stress Scale, Trauma Belief scale, Previous Trauma Questionnaire. In examining the relationships amomg the variables, multi-mediating effects were identified through conducting a test, multiple mediation model operating in serial, proposed by Hayes(2013). Then, using SPSS Macro Program developed by Hayes(2012), a bootstrapping methods was performed to confirm the significance of indirect effects. The research findings are as follows: first, there were positive correlations among perceived social support, decentering, meaning in life, posttraumatic growth of trauma workers who experienced vicarious trauma. Second, decentering, meaning in life had statistically significant mediating effects between perceived social support and posttraumatic growth. Also perceived social support had significant indirect effects on posttraumatic growth through decentering and meaning in life. The results suggests that social support and cognitive processes, such as decentering, meaning in life are important factors from the vicarious traumatic experience into the development of posttraumatic growth. Finally the limitations of present study were discussed along with suggestions for further research. 본 연구는 대리 외상을 경험한 성폭력지원센터 종사자들의 지각된 사회적 지지, 탈중심화, 삶의 의미가 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였고 매개 변인으로 탈중심화, 삶의 의미를 설정하였다. 본 연구에는 전국에 위치한 성폭력 지원 기관 종사자들 170명이 참여하였고 그 중 대리 외상을 경험하였다고 보고한 134명을 대상으로 외상경험 질문지, 사회적 지지 척도, 삶의 의미 척도, 외상 후 성장 척도, 한국판 경험 질문지, 외상 신념 척도, 이차적 외상 스트레스 척도들을 실시하였다. 변인들간 관계를 살펴보기 위해 SPSS 21.0으로 Hayes(2013)가 제안한 순차적 중다매개 모형을 검증하였다. 간접효과의 유의성은 Hayes(2013)가 개발한 프로그램 PROCESS를 이용한 부트스트레핑 Bootstrapping 방법으로 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대리 외상을 경험한 집단의 사회적 지지와 탈중심화, 삶의 의미, 외상 후 성장간에는 유의한 정적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 대리 외상을 경험한 집단들의 사회적 지지와 외상 후 성장 과정에서 탈중심화와 삶의 의미의 순차적 매개 효과가 유의하였다. 이러한 결과는 대리 외상 경험이 외상 후 성장으로 나타나기 위해서 사회적 지지와 탈중심화, 삶의 의미 찾기와 같은 인지적 처리 과정이 도움이 될 것이라는 것을 시사한다. 이를 바탕으로 본 연구의 제한과 후속 연구를 위한 제안점을 논의하였다.

조골세포의 분화에 대한 zoledronic acid의 영향

Background: Zoledronate (ZOL) is the most potent amino-bisphsphonate and is widely used to treat various metabolic bone diseases. Bisphosphonates act primarily by inhibiting osteoclast activity but are known to have some effects on osteoblast. Osteoblasts are originated from mesenchymal stem cells (MSC), so I evaluated the effects of zoledronate on differentiation of human bone marrow derived MSC. Method: Human bone marrow derived MSC were obtained from femora of 60-year-old male patient undergoing total hep arthroplasty. MSC was cultured and differentiated to osteoblasts. MSC was treated with ZOL during differentiations. After differentiation, osteoblast group was stained with alkaline phosphatase compared with control group. Result: Human bone marrow derived MSC were differentiated to osteoblasts but there were no differences on the ZOL treated group compared with control group. Conclusion: ZOL did not affect on differentiation of osteoblast and further evaluation is needed to confirm this. 배경 : 졸레드로네이트는 가장 강력한 비아미노-비스포스포네이트로서 여러 골대사 질환에 광범위하게 사용되고 있다. 비스포스포네이트는 파골세포를 억제하여 작용을 주로 나타내나 조골세포에 대한 영향도 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 저자는 비스포스포네이트가 조골세포의 분화에 미치는 영향을 알기위해 골수 유래 중간엽 줄기세포를 분화시키는 과정에서 졸레드로네이트를 처치하였다. 연구방법 : 대퇴골 전 치환수술을 받은 60세 남자의 골수에서 채취한 중간엽 줄기세포를 배양하여 조골세포로 분화시켰다. 분화과정에서 졸레드로 네이트를 처치하였고 분화후 alkaline phosphatase (ALP) 염색을 시행하여 대조군과 비교하여보았다. 결과 : 중간엽 줄기세포는 조골세포로 분화하였고, 졸레드로네이트를 처치하였을 때 처치하지 않은 대조군과 비교하여 분화정도에 있어서 차이를보이지 않았다. 결론 : 졸레드로네이트는 중간엽 줄기세포가 조골세포로 분화하는데 있어서 특별한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 보이며 향후 이에 대한 추가적인 연구가 필요하다.
