Objectives : The aim of this study was to examine the behavioral and emotional problems associated with nocturnal enuresis in Korean children. Methods : Three hundred eighteen children with nocturnal enuresis, together with their parents, completed the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), Disruptive Behavior Disorder Scale according to DSM-IV (DBDS), Children's Depression Inventory (CDI), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children (STAIC), and Piers-Harris Children's Self-Concept Scale (PHCSC). Ninety-three normal students were selected as the control group. Results : Compared to the normal control group, the mean scores with regard to the withdrawn, social problems, attention problems, delinquent behavior, aggressive behavior, externalizing problems and total problems profiles were significantly higher in the nocturnal enuresis group according to the CBCL results. The nocturnal enuresis group also scored significantly higher in the ADHD and ODD profiles of the DBDS. The nocturnal enuresis group was more depressed and anxious than the control group according to the results of the CDI and STAI. The mean score of the PHCSC was significantly lower in the nocturnal enuresis group when compared to the normal control group. Conclusion : The results of this study suggest that children with nocturnal enuresis in Korea have clinically relevant behavioral and emotional problems. The findings support the link between nocturnal enuresis and psychopathology in Korean children.

개국약사들의 환경 문제에 대한 의식 분석 : The Subject of Studies in Pusan & Ulsan Areas 부산 ·울산 지역을 대상으로

The rapid increase of the population, the urban concentration and the high growth of the industrial development produced the environmental pollution, destroyed the balance of the natural ecosystem, falled in human's circumstances. They are influenced the serious problem that the whole human race should face. Especially in case of my country, establishing five-year economics development since 1960, we promoted the plan. To the conclusion, we could be satisfied in some degree economically. But we overlooked over the damage of the environmental pollution. According to the quality of the surroundings get feeble damage of natural ecosystem and the pollution of our living environments. So we recognize the environmental pollution as the serious social problem. On this point of view, on the premise that our pharmacists as the special intellectuals are responsible for the environmental pollution. Here upon I posed questions and examined the interest of the phamacists about the environmental problem. As follows if I summarize the total contents. 1. About the environmental pollution of my dwelling place, most of us suffer damage and we are the assaulters of it. In particular the dwellers of the factory districts are damaged much. 2. As the media for the acknowledgement about the environmental pollution and the acquirement of recognition, most of pharmacists get acknowledgement printing media about environmental pollution. Accordingly they need the special education about the environmental pollution. 3. We cannot confine the responsibility of the environmental pollution to individual. I should emphasize the public obligation. As and individual, enterprises, a government, so on we all citizens feel emphasize about environmental problem. We already know the importance of duty about it. On the other hand, we practice unsatisfactorily in our daily lives. So the intellectuals should pay mere attention to it. 4. Posing questions about the protestation of the opinions against the environmental pollution and taking exception to it. Most of respondents said "No experience". In spite of their discontent about it, they didn't cope with the positive solutions. Also the low rate of the participation in Environment Purification Movement is caused by the working conditions of the from opening pharmacists is considered (Working time ; Daily Average about 15 hours). To these conclusions, the pharmacists so called the special intelligents need the education about the environmental pollution. As the main group of the Environment Purification Movement, household the enterprises, a government all of us ought to have the reform of conciousness for the public duties. We should introduce better program that gives warning to the environmental pollution in the press, not temporarily but persistently. We demands the practical Environmental Policy about the people's demands for the living in delightful circumstances.

多層薄膜型 ZnS : Mn電場發光素子에 관한 硏究 Mn Thin Film Electroluminescence and it's Characteristics

The devices have an ITO-Y_2O_3-ZnS : Mn-Y_2O_3-Al structure with Y_2O_3 double insulating layers. The dependence of the emission characteristics and crystallinity of ZnS : Mn upon the fabrication parameters such as the Mn concentrations and substrate temperatures during the evaporation has been investigated. The highest brightness with 30fL at frequency of 1KHz and a pulse height of 200V was obtained. And then the peak of spectrun of PL and EL are 5850Å.

Traditional database applications store data into a disk, and process queries on the stored database, later, to get needed information in general. Recently new types of applications have been widely recognized, in which applying such traditional data processing model is not appropriate. In these new applications, information is composed of a series of continuous data value. A data stream occurs continuously. It has real-time property. It is an infinite sequence of data items ordered based on the order of arrival or timestamps. For data stream applications, it is highly required to manage data streams, and to process them efficiently. This paper surveys some new issues needed to manage data streams. It also describes recent research results for data stream management.

淸代 서적 『朝鮮國王來書』의 고찰

중국에서, 민국 21년(1932)에 발행한「朝鮮國王來書」는 淸代에 조선에서 청나라로 보낸 咨文을 중국인이 모아 책으로 엮은 것이다. 중국에서는, 조선시대에 해마다 중국으로 전해지는 자문을 왜 하필 조선 仁祖20~21년(1642~1643)2년 분만을 엮어서 책으로 만들었느냐 하는 것이다. 해마다 중국으로 表箋이 갔지만 明末淸初는 사정이 다르다. 조선이 이 두 나라 사이에서 3각관계를 이루면서 表 · 箋 · 咨가 행해지지 않았다. 임진왜란 이후 조선에서 표리일치하게 종주국으로 여겼던 명이 망하고, 청이 승자의 위치를 확립하자 조선은 내심과는 달리 청에게 자문을 보낼 수밖에 없는 굴욕적 이라고 생각하던 시대였다. 그러나 청의 처지에서 보면, 조선을 실질적으로 지배하기 시작한 영광스런 해였던 것이다. 첫째 錦州, 松山, 香山, 塔山 전투에서 승리하고 북경에 입관하였고, 둘째 조선에서는, 구조요청 온 명나라 상선을 잡아 청나라에 인계하였고, 셋째 청은 인질로 잡아간 조선왕자와 대신을 모두 돌려보냈고, 넷째 조선에 대하여 조공을 감해주었고, 다섯째 표 · 전 · 자를 제대로 받아서 실제로 종주국으로 군림하기 시작한 해였다. 그러면 중국은 자문의 원본을 묶어서 한 권의 책으로 보관하던 것을, 왜 민국21년(1932)에 인쇄하여 중국 전역에 배포하였느냐 하는 점이다. 또 하나 자료가 더 있다. 「朝鮮迎接都監廳儀軌」가 그것이다. 이 책은 임란 후, 임란의 당사자인 선조대왕이 죽자, 중국에서는 조문사절을 보냈는데, 이 때 조선에서는 임란 직후라서 명나라 사신에 대하여 얼마나 후대하였겠는가를 가히 짐작 할 수 있다. 곧 도감청을 설치하고 영접하였으니 이 때 만든 의궤인 것이다. 중국인들은 이 책을 「조선국왕래서」와 함께 1932년에 중국에서 다시 간행하여 중국전역에 배포하였다. 1932년은 바로 滿洲國이 세워진 첫해, 大同1년이요. 傅儀황제가 등극한 해다. 그리면 중국에서는 왜 이 옛날 책을 이 때 간행 했느냐 하는 점이다. 일제에게 동북 3성을 빼앗기고, 열등의식을 위로해 보려는 자존심에서였을까? 조선을 지배하던 향수를 달래어 일본에게서 받은 상처를 치유하려 하였다면, 분명히 과거에 일본을 지배하던 역사자료도 물론 이 때에 출간하지 않았겠나 한다. Chosun Guowang Laishu (朝鮮國王來書: Book on the letters sent from King of Chosun Kingdom) which was published in the 21st year of Republic of China (1932) was a book compiled by collection of diplomatic letters sent from Chosun Kingdom to Qing Dynasty of China. Then the point is why such diplomatic letters which had been sent annually from Chosun to China during Era of Chosun were collected specifically for the portion of 2 years in 20th and 21st year of King lnjo (1642-1643) and made into a book. Annually letters for Chinese emperors in regular interval and on the occasion of any specific occasions were sent from Chosun to China but circumstances during end of Ming Dynasty and early phase of Qing Dynasty were extraordinary. Chosun was a party of triangular relationship of these 3 countries and Pyo(表), Jeon(箋), Ja(咨) (Letters for asking regards, letters on special occasions to Chinese emperor and diplomatic letters to China from Chosun) were not sent. Since the time of Japan's Hideyoshi's Invasion of Korea in 1592 Ming Dynasty which was looked upon as a suzerain state by Chosun fell and Qing Dynasty held sway over China as a victor accordingly those were times of disgrace of Chosun which had to send Jamun (咨文: diplomatic letter) to Qing contrary to its inner wish. But from the position of Qing Dynasty it was a glorious year when they began to rule Chosun actually. First, they won in the battle at Jin Zhou, Song Shan, Xiang Shan and Ta Shan and then advanced to Beijing. Second in Chosun Ming's merchant ship which came to Chosun to seek assistance was nabbed and transferred to Qing. Thirdly, Qing released all the princes and ministers they had taken as hostages. Fourth, they reduced amount of tributes which were usually paid by Chosun to China before. Fifth, it was the year Qing Dynasty began to reign as a suzerain state of Chosun by receiving Pyo(表), Jeon(箋), Ja(咨) Letters for asking regards, letters on special occasions to Chinese emperor and diplomatic letters to China from Chosun) from it formally. Then the point is why China compiled all the Ja Moon and made a book out of it and preserved it. Then it was printed in 21st Year of the Republic (1932) and distributed across the China. There was another data. It was called as Chosun Yingjie Doujian Yigui (朝鮮迎接都監廳儀軌).This book was about rules for ceremony for accepting Chinese condolence delegation at the lime of death of King Sunjo who was the king embroiled in Hideyoshi's Invasion in 1592 and who died after the war. At that time office for acceptance of Chinese delegation was established and the delegation was 'treated so well as for royal envoys''. Chinese published this book in 1932 together with the above mentioned Chosun Guowang Laishu(朝鮮國王來書) and distributed it across the entire China. The year 1932 was the first year of Datong when Manchuguo was established and Emperor Fuyi ascended to throne. Then the point is why China published those ancient books. Probably it was motivated by their pride and in an attempt to lull their inferiority complex when Japanese Imperialists took over 3 northeastern provinces of China and founded Manchuguo. If they attempted to heal their pride being hurt at the hands of Japanese by cherishing nostalgia of reigning over Chosun then quite clearly it deemed most likely that historical data on ruling Japan in the past were also published at that time.

염산용액에서 비누화 PC88A에 의한 용매추출로 Gd와 Sm의 분리

Solvent extraction experiments have been performed to separate Gd and Sm from chloride solution with PC88A and saponified PC88A. The effects of extraction conditions on the distribution coefficients of Gd and Sm were investigated. The distribution coefficients of Gd were higher than those of Sm in the experimental ranges of experimental conditions of this study. A solvent extraction model was developed to predict the distribution coefficients of metals and separation factor between Gd and Sm from the initial extraction conditions. The measured distribution coefficients of Gd and Sm with PC88A and saponified PC88A showed good agreements with the predicted values. (Received March 3, 2005)

한국인 심부전증 환자 심근에서의 인형 거대 세포 바이러스 감염

Objectives: In order to evaluated the prevalence and the site of infection of cytomegalovirus in terminally failing heart, cytomegaloviral DNA was detected in the explanted hearts of transplantation recipients. Methods: DNA extractions were performed from explanted failing hearts(N=22) and normal hearts(N=5) and polymerase cain reactions(PCRs) were done for detection of late gene sequence coding pp150 glycoprotein. The products were confirmed by electrophoresis on the 1% agarose gel. n order to improve the detectability of cytomegaloviral genome, nested PCRs were executed with the primers designed for the original 607 bp products. In situ PCRs also were done with the samples which were confirmed as positive for CMV viral genome by nested PCRs. Results: All patients had IgG anti-cytomegalovirus antibody and did not have IgM anti-cytomegalovirus antibody. Cytomegaloviral genomes in myocardium were detected by polymerase chain reaction. The 607bp products by PCRs were found in both explanted failing heart(3 cases/22. 13.5%) and normal hearts( 1 case/5, 20.0%). In nested PCRs, 186bp products were found in both failing hearts(LV 4/22, LA 3/2, RV 4/22, RA 0/17) and normal hearts(LV 2/5, LA 1/4, RV 2/5, RA 2/5). These was no significant change in positivity of cytomegaloviral DNA genome between failing and normal hearts. Total positivity of cytomegaloviral genome in explanted hearts was 44.4% according to the nested PCR results. The positivity of cytomegaloviral DNA by n situ PCR was 33.3%(4/12), and the site of positive reaction was the nuclei of the myocardial cells. Conclusion: Cytomegalovirus was rarely observed in explanted hearts of terminal heart failure and nested PCR could enhance the sensitivity of cytomegaloviral genome detection. The result of the in situ PCR showed the site of the cytomegaloviral infection was nuclei of the myocardial cells. Cytomegalovirus, however, might have no direct causal relationship in the development of terminal heart failure.

도심에서 운전자 주차행동특성에 관한 연구

In this study, driver's parking behavior characteristics in C.B.D were analyzed by quantification theory Ⅱ, and the variables deeply correlate with parking behavior. And for developing parking choice model, binary logit model was applied to the case of that choice alternative were legal or illegal parking and on-road or off-road parking, and multinominal logit model that can predicts three alternatives simultaneously was applied to the case of that choice alternatives were on-road, off-road and illegal parking. Parking choice models developed in this study, are expected to generate available data in developing and validating parking policy.

Phenylephrine이 토끼 유두근의 수축력과 활동전압에 미치는 영향

In order to clarify the receptor types and mechanisms underlying the positive inotropic effect of phenylephrie on the mammalian ventricular myocardium, the action potential, its first derivatives and isometric contraction of the rabbit papillary muscle were recorded using a free transducer and glass capillary microelectronics filled with 3M KCI, and results were analyzed. The results were as follows; l. In normal Tyrode solution, the contractile force was increased with increments of phenylephrine concentration and maximum effect was reached at the stimulation frequency of 1 Hz in 10^-5 M phenylephrine. 2. In 22 mM K^+-Tyrode solution, the maximum rate of rise (Vmax) of action potential, overshoot and the duration oction potential were significantly increased with increments of phenylephrine concentration (10^-6 ~ 10^-4 M). 3. The negative inotropic effect induced by verapamil was reversed by phenylephrine. 4. Phentolamine (3x10^-6 M) shifted the dose response curve for phenylephrine to the right more than propranolol (10^-6 M) did. The above results may be interpreted as follow; The positive inotropic effect of phenylephrine is caused by increase in slow inward current (Ca^2+influx into the myocardial cell), and is mediated through α- and β-adrengergic receptors in the rabbit pailary muscle
