      • 국내 설사환자로부터 분리된 Escherichia coli 균의 혈청군 및 Verocytotoxin 생성능

        목적: 국내 설사 환자에게서 분리 동정된 인체 감염 유래 E. coli 균의 혈청군, verocytotoxin 생성능을 구명하여 EHEC 균의 인체 감염 실태를 구명하고, 동물 및 식품 유래 분리균주의 성상과 비교 검토하여 인체 감염 위험성에 대한 기초적 자료를 의학계에 제공하고자 하였다. 방법: EHEC 감염의심 설사 환자 분변 검체로부터 분리된 균주 중 생화확적 성상에 따라 대장균을 분리하였고 이들 균주 중 E. coli O157:H7를 분리하기 위해서는 Dsorbitol 음성균을 선별하였으며, 분리균에 대하여 항혈청으로 응집 시험을 실시하여 혈청군을 구명하였다. 혈청군이 확인된 균주에 대하여 중합효소 연쇄반응 (PCR) 및 역수동라텍스 응집시험 (Reversed Passive Latex Agglutination:RPLA) 으로 verocytotoxin 생성능을 구명하였다. 결과: 장출혈성 대장균 감염 의심설사 환자의 분변검체로부터 25주의 E. coli 균을 분리 동정하였으나 이들 균주는 모두 verocytotoxin을 생성하지 않았다. 분리 동정된 대장균으로부터 확인된 혈청군은 16종으로서 E. coli O1, O6, O8, O15, O20, O25 O26, O28, O29, O44, O86a, O119, O126, O128, O152, 및 O157:H-였으며 E. coli O157:H-혈청형 균주와 E.coli O25 혈청군 균주가 각각 3주씩 분리되어 비교적 높은 분리율을 보였다. 결론: 장출혈성 대장균 감염 의심설사 환자 분변 가검물로부터 총 25주의 E. coli균을 분리 동정하였으나 verocytotoxin을 모두 생산하지 않았다. Background: Since 1982, many countries has reported outbreaks or sporadic cases caused by enterohaemorrhagic Escherichia coli (EHEC) serogroup strains, mainly E. coli O157:H7 type strain. However, systemic investigation about EHEC agents, including E. coli O157:H7, have not been done in Korea. Therefore, we investigated serogroup and verotoxin productivity of E. coli strains isolated from diarrheal patients and estimated risk of human infection in comparison with EHEC strains isolated from cow, pig, and food material in Korea. Methods: Diarrheal patient stool samples were collected and E. coli strains were isolated, according to biochemical characteristics. In order to isolate E. coli O157:H7, D-Sorbitol negative strains were selected. Serogrouping of the E. coli isolates was done by agglutination test. Verocytotoxin productivity was investigated by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and reversed passive latex agglutination (RPLA). Human infection risk was estimated in comparison with EHEC strains isolated from cow, pig and food materials in Korea. Results: Twenty-five E. coli strains were isolated from the diarrheal patients who were suspected to be infected with EHEC. However, none of these E. coli strains produced verocytotoxin. Out of 25 E. coli isolates, 16 serogroups of E. coli O1, O6, O8, O15, O20, O25, O26, O28, O29, O44, O86a, O119, O126, O128, O152 and 157:H-were found. In each of the E. coli O157:H-and O25 serogroups 3 strains were found. Conclusion: None of 25 E. coli isolated from diarrheal patients who were suspected of EHEC infection produced verocytotoxin producing E. coli have been reported recently in Korea.

        Bayesian Estimation of the Ratio of Two Means using Dirichlet Process Prior

        In the past, there have been computational difficulties with the model which adapted the Dirichlet process prior. However, using the MCMC, computational difficulties can be solved. In this paper, the populations of interest is the ratio of two exponential populations and two Poisson populations. The Dirichlet process prior is used to provide a nonparametric Bayesian estimate of a ratio of two means. The proposed procedure is applied to some real and artificial examples, and compare it with classical estimator.

        Computer supported cooperative work (CSCW) makes group task efficient by giving co-existence notion to geographically distributed group participants. The most important issue in CSCW is system architecture and concurrency control. Concurrency control influences the co-existence notion of group participants. In concurrency control for CSCW, it is very important to consider the group participants. A efficient Concurrency control method cannot be used if it hurts co-existence. In this paper we suggest the requirements of concurrency control for internet based fully distributed CSCW, analyze the reason why existing concurrency control method does not fulfill this requirements. And design concurrency control method that satisfy given requirements based on optimistic locking and commit candidate.

      • 졸-겔공정을 이용한 초고용량 캐패시터용 Nickel oxide 나노입자의 합성

        The Ni (OH)₂ nanoparticles with average diameter of 50 nm were synthesized by hydrolyzing nickel acetate with water, and were dispersed in the distilled water to prepare the coating solution. The electrodes for supercapacitor were prepared by dip-coating the coating solution on the Ni-foam. The electrodes heat-treated at several temperatures showed the highest specific capacitance, 160 F/g, at 250℃. It can be explained that the Ni(OH)₂ particles heat-treated at 100 and 200℃ on the electrodes contained the impurities such as acetate groups in the pores, and resulted in low specific surface areas. However, as the calcination temperature increases. the impurities incorporated in the pores are removed at 250℃, and thus, the particles on the electrodes show the highest specific surface area (177 ㎡/g).

      • 제올라이트 CuNaY 상에서 액상흡착평형에 관한 연구

        In this work, we measured the surface excess of binary liquid mixtures of benzene and cycloexane on CuNaY Zeolite at 20, 25, 30 and 35℃. The relations between the mole fraction and the surface excess of the absorbate in the adsorbed phase were obtained from the thermodynamic analysis on the adsorption equilibrium of liquid mixtures. Excess properties in the absorbed phase were determined and which were satisfied with the themodynamic analysis. The surface excess and the mole fraction were experimentally obtained from the system of bezene-cyclohexane on CuNaY Zeolite and they were decreased with the temperature increase. Benzene was preferentially absorbed and the amount of adsorption of benzene was greater than that of cyclohexane.

      • 전자코를 이용한 대추의 산지판별

        대추에 내포한 특이한 향기성분을 토대로 수입산 또는 국내산인지의 여부를 아무런 전처리없이 전자코로 분석하였다. 주성분 분석결과 제1주성분 값의 기여율은 0.624이었고, 제2주성분의 기여율은 0.161, 제3주성분 값은 0.132이었다. 제1주성분 값과 제3주성분 값을 이용한 그래프가 제1주성분 값과 제2주성분 값의 그래프보다 국산과 수입산 대추를 더 잘 구별할 수 있었다. 84종의 국내산 대추를 국내산으로 판별한경우는 60종으로 71.42%의 확률로 판별하였으며 48종의 외국산 대추를 외국산으로 판별한 경우는 42종으로 87.50%의 확률로 구별할 수 있었다. 일부 시료의 판별은 어려운 상태이나 전반적으로 수입산과 국내산의 판별이 가능하였다. The discrimination of the agricultural origin of jujubes, cspecially locally produced or the imported products such as jujube was investigated by using electronic nose. Volatile components from these products were able to be distinguished by six metal oxide sensors without any pretreatment. Pattern recognition leas carried out. Principal component analysis showed the difference between imported jujubes and locally produced ones. The number of 60 from 84 species of local jujubes was recognized as locally produced one (71.42%) and 42 from 48 foreign species one was done (87.50%) by discrimination analysis.
