Since the New Globe Theatre opened in 1996, they have used the yard as an acting area or entrances. Even though the authenticity of using the yard is disputable, nobody denies that the yard must be a very effective tool for performing Shakespeare at the Globe Theatre. The yard is an essential part of traditional Korean theatre, called 'talchum (mask dance)' or 'talnori (mask play).' The yard is its stage as well as the auditorium. Therefore, the players are surrounded by the audience, and the players can, and often do interact with the audience, speaking to the audience, or treating them as players, or acting as if they were some of the audience. The theatrical style of using the yard has much influenced the modem theatre of Korea. And some Korean directors, such as Oh Tae-suk, Yang Jung-ung, and Lee Hyon-u, have applied the yard techniques to their Shakespearean productions. Yang Jung-ung's A Midsummer Night's Dream used the yard exactly the same way as talchum performances. Oh Tae-suk's Romeo and Juliet adopted the acting style of talchum players, they would face the audience and speak toward the audience as they act. And Lee Hyon-u's Coriolanus set up 15 television monitors on the stage in order to let the audience see themselves as part of the play, and made the underground entrance between the auditorium and the forestage in order to give the illusion of players appearing from the audience and disappearing into the audience. Sometimes the actors actually became part of the audience thus including them in the performance both orally and physically like traditional Korean theatre. Korean Shakespearean productions, which use the yard actively, can be more evidence that the yard must be an effective tool for Shakespeare, not only at the Globe Theatre but also at any kind of theatres of today. No one knows whether Shakespeare actually used the yard or not. But the fact that many Shakespearean productions have used the yard successfully, means that Shakespeare's texts themselves have enough room for the yard.

The purpose of this article is to examine the urban aspects embedded in Lee Chung-jun’s literary works where characters struggle to conform to the cultural norms and social order derived from capitalist reality of living in urban space. Therefore, Lee’s motivation of writing has been known as “vengeance on the world,” as the writer’s perception of reality was shaped by his urban experiences of poverty and loneliness. However, his literary world contains a positive view of urban reality. It often conveys his innate interest and exotic gaze on the city, and his desire is presented in a form of romantic view. In this respect, this article traces the descriptions of urban life in Lee Chungjun"s writings and explores how the text engages in various urban experiences. In the second section, the article provides a theoretical foundation to define the “exotic gaze” on the urban space and the analyzes the stories reflecting romantic aspiration of the city. The following section focuses on the literary configuration of the characters who vacillate between envy and disgust while living in the capitalist world and reveals the writer’s ambivalent attitude toward the city in his early stories.

The New Community Movement Consists of following values that is, industry, self-helf and coordination. The purpose of the movement is realized the civil's well-being. There are three variables in implementation of this movement. They are citizens, movement's leaders and government. The very important role variable of them is movement's leaders. They guide citizens through three values. This paper researches the behaviors and conscious structures of the movement's leaders in Tae-gu city and the purpose of this paper are presentation about directions and problems of urban saemaul movement ultimate findings of this paper is that first of all it is important of leaders role in order to achieve effectively the movement.

RE-09 : High mobility group box-1 and Toll like receptor 4 in Endometriosis: Mediating NF-kB pathway

목적: The aim of the study was to examine the sterile, chronic inflammatory status in endometriosis by detecting High mobility group box-1 (HMGB-1), and HMGB-1 signaling through toll like receptor (TLR) 4 in endometrial stromal cell, which activates NF-kB pathway that might play a pathogenic role in endometriosis. 방법: Total 69 patients who had undergone hysterectomy from March, 2012 to March, 2014 were included: 39 patients who had endometriosis as case group, 30 participants without endometriosis as the control. Expression of HMGB-1 in endometrium was examined by immunohistochemistry. From endometriosis patient, eutopic endometrium was obtained and used to culture in vitro. To confirm the association of HMGB-1 and TLR4 in NF-kB pathway, the cultured human endometrial stromal cells (HESCs) were treated with recombinant HMGB-1 (15 ng/mL) for 0, 12, 24, 48 hrs. TLR4 antagonist (LPS-RS) was added after rHMGB-1 treatment to HESCs to see the change of proliferation after inhibiting TLR4. CCK8 proliferation assay kit. Real-time PCR and western blotting were used to examine the proliferation, quantification of the mRNA and protein. Specific inhibitor of NF-κB signaling pathway (TPCA-1) was used to explore the role of NF-κB signaling pathway in HESCs proliferation. 결과: HMGB-1 expression was significantly higher in glandular epithelial and stromal cells of endometriosis group compared to the controls. rHMGB-1 significantly enhanced cell proliferation in HESCs and increased TLR4 expression by dose dependent fashion. Inhibiting TLR4 by LPS-RS, cell proliferation in HESCs and expression of TLR4 were significantly decreased comparing to the controls. After blocking NF-kB pathway with TPCA-1, cell proliferation in HESCs was significantly decreased by dose dependent fashion. 결론: This study showed that HMGB-1 may play an important role through TLR4 and NF-kB pathway, in inflammatory cascade of pathogenesis in endometriosis.

Background : In recent years, gonorrhea has been panedemic and remains one of the most commom STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. Objective & Methods: For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of PPNG, we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the VD Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by means of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. Results: In 1996, 139 strains of N. gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 53(39.0%) were PPNG. Conclusion: Our results suggests that after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, the prevalence of PPNG in Seoul is gradually declining.

It has been demonstrated in this paper that the grammatical or the ungrammatical sentences could be viewed in various ways of acceptability : 1.Syntactically, English allows a very limited number of acceptable permutation as grammatical sentence, thus we have only one from among as many as 24 ways of permutation with the four words in the first case. 2.Semantically, a sentence is acceptable when the meaning of the sentence is relevant to our mental ability such as imagination or memory. 3.The acceptability of English sentence is more or less related to the morpho-phonological factor. For the initial cluster, we have a rule that enables us to have the well-formed cluster like /st/ but not to have the ill-formed cluster like */t1/. The unacceptability of */stl/ results from * /tl/. 4.The unacceptability of the fifth case is hard to explain without the helpful theory of FSP of the Prague School linguists. The careful investigation of the 'existential there construction' in the LEARN LOB corpus supports thematic acceptability in that new information of the indefinite NP goes with the rheme postion. 5.In communication, sentences are used not only to convey thoughts but to reveal the speaker's attitude to the thought expressed. The case (6) is thought to consist of two acceptable sentences in terms of syntax or semantics, but pragmatically, or in the context of communication it is unacceptable. The pragmatical unacceptability of (6) is due to the breach of Leech's principle of politeness.

영어 존재문의 FSP

In this paper, I have provided a description of some properties of there-existential sentence in terms of FSP. First of all, I have argued that the there in existential sentence can play the role of theme in that it has the properties of week syllable, closed-class lexical item and thematizer. These properties are the devices by which we lead our hearer or reader to recognize the place of information that we see as the high point of our message. Secondly,. I have shown that the properties and restrictions in the more important additional types of existential sentence and the existential sentence with verbs other than be. The verbs other than be denoting 'existence' or 'emergence' are of lower communicative importance than the person, thing, event, whose emergence on the scene is being asserted. Finally, I have analyzed in terms of definitensess the NP of the existential in the LEARN LOB Corpus. The data show that the proportion of the occurrence of indfinite NP at the post-verbal position is very high.

특수형 방사성 동위원소 운반캡슐의 안정성 평가

특수형 방사성물질 운반캡슐은 국내외의 수송관련 법규에 규정된 기술기준을 만족하도록 설계, 제작되어야 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 하나로에서 생산된 192Ir 특수형 동위원소 운반캡슐의 건전성을 평가하는데 있다. 법규에서 규정된 낙하시험, 타격시험, 굽힘시헝 및 가열시험조건에 대한 안전성 시험을 수행하였으며, 각각의 시험 전후에 누설시험을 수행하였다. 또한, 안전성시험과 더불어 컴퓨터코드를 이용한 전산해석을 수행하여 안전성시험 전에 시험결과에 대한 예측자료로 활용되었다. 낙하시험 및 가열시험 결과 캡슐 표면에서 약간의 흠집과 변형이 발생하였으나, 각각의 시험에서 평가기준이 되는 캡슐의 손상이나 용융 등은 발생하지 않았다. 또한 각 시험 후 수행한 누설시험 결과 누설이 발생하지 않았다. 따라서 특수형 방사성물질 운반캡슐은 법규에서 규정하는 기술기준을 만족하도록 설계, 제작되었음이 입증되었다. All of sealing capsules to transport a special form radioactive material should be designed and fabricated in accordance with the design criteria prescribed in IAEA standards and domestic regulations. The objective of this study is to demonstrate the safety of a shipping capsule for 192Ir special form radioisotope which produceed in the HANARO. The safety tests were carried out for the impact, percussion, bending and heat test conditions. And leakage tests were carried out before and after the each test. Also, the safety analyses were performed using computer codes in order to verify the test results. The capsule showed slight scratches and deformation, and maintained its structural and thermal integrities in all tests without any severe damage or melting. It also met the allowable limits of leakage rate after earth test. Therefore, it has been verified that the capsule was designed and fabricated to meet all requirements for the special form.
