In recent years, gonorrhea has been pandemic and remains one of the most common STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae(PPNG), we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the Venereal Disease Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by menas of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. In 1998, 93 strians of N. genorrhoeae were isolated, among which 60(64.5%) were PPNG. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul, which had been decreased to 39% in 1996 after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, is increased to 64.5% in 1998.

Objective : The aim of this study is to investigate the inhibitory effect of Injinchunggantang on hepatic sclerosis induced by CCl₄. Methods : Weight, liver function test and complete blood cell count, gross findings, and findings on liver tissue of the past(Hematoxylin & Eosin stain, Masson-Trichrome stain) were studied. Results : When it comes to the change of rats body weight, The CCI₄-Injinchunggantang group lost far less weight than The CCl₄ only group. In the liver function test, which is focused on various area such as total cholesterol, alkaline phosphotase albumin, aspartate transaminase, alanine transaminase, The CCl₄ Injinchunggantang group was much more closer to normal limit than the CCl₄ only group. In the complete blood cell count, including while blood cell, red blood cell, hemoglobin, hematocrite, platelet, The CCl₄ Injinchunggantang group significantly closer to normal limit than CCl₄ only group. In the gross findings of hepatic fibrosis models, Injinchunggantang showed inhibitory effect on hepatic fibrosis in the order. In the past findings of hepatic fibrosis models in Hematoxylin & Eosin, Masson-Trichrome staining, the liver in CCl₄ only group showed atrophy and necrotic change with white nodules, whereas that of CCl₄ Injuchuinggantang group showed lesser significant change with the well preserved tone of the tissue. In the extent of the inhibition of the hepatic fibrosis, the Injinchunggantang group showed statistically significant inhibitory effect(p<0.05) in the sclerosis model. Conclusions : These results show that Injinchunggantang have inhibitory effect on hepatic sclerosis induced by CCl₄ and further ultimately prevent liver cirrhosis. To obtain more credible results in the experiment, the invention of a new experimental model more similar to human hepatic sclerosis is still needed.

It can be used a radiation diode digital temperature controller for indication. The old-fashioned timer used for the agricultural temperature controller was mechanical. So the purposes of the Heat Controller for agriculture are to settle the breakdown-troubles and regulate temperature for agricultural products.

The currenty offered experiment courses are completely reconsidered and reconfigured. The whole subjects are divided into 10 seperate courses, each of which should represent either basic or advanced stages of differing fields of the electronic engineering. It has been aimed that the courses form an elaborate hierachy so that they are minimally redundant but linked to one another in their fringes. Also, it has been pursued that the new courses should not fall obsolete in at last next five years exploring the maximum possibilities of the currently available equipments.

As the equipment to observe the situation of a vinyle plastic hot house by using a telephone circuit between a house and a vinyle plastic house. A user gets the information about the inside temperature of the vinyle plastic hot house through a voice. In the case of its alarm operating, the house phone comes to call the users house automatically, and informs him of something wrong. In view of these, there are the aims to improve the method of agriculture which needs lots of hands and to decrease the damage of form products.
3차원 유한요소법을 이용한 분말단조과정의 해석에 관한 연구

Finite element method is applied to three-dimesional square block forging and prism forging process of porous material. Flow of the materials is different from that of wrought materials due to pores in the preform. The von Mises yield function was modified to include the first invariant of stress tensor and the associated flow rule was derived by applying the normality rule to the yield function. In prism forging, shape change is compared with the existing 2-D anaysis result. To predict characteristics of porous materials and preform shape, simulations are performed for two different workpiece geometries under two different friction conditions each where shape change, effective strain, relative density, average relative density and side bulging are discussed.

SSC(strong and Simple Compressive Anchor) 앵커는 진행성파괴의 영향을 줄일 수 있고, 시공이 간단하며, 경제성이 있고, 내구성이 우수한 특징을 갖고 있다. 본 연구에서는 SSC앵커의 현장인발실험과 실내요소시험의 결과를 분석해 정리했다. SSC 앵커의 특성을 요약하면 다음과 같다. (1) 앵커의 인발에 의한 앵커체의 소성변위가 매우 작다. (2) 앵커의 자유장을 줄임으로서 전체 앵커장을 줄일 수 있다. (3) 진행성파괴의 영향이 줄어든다. (4) 앵커의 시공후 시간이 경과함에 따라 인발저항에 대한 안전률이 증가한다. The SSC anchor (Strong and Simple Compressive Anchor) is characterized by decreasement of progressive failure, simple site work, economy and durability. In this study, the result of field pullout test and laboratory element test of SSC anchor are analysed. The characteristics of SSC anchor are summarized as follows: (1) The plastic displacement of anchor body is very small by pullout of anchor. (2) Total anchor length decreases by the shortening of free length. (3) The progressive failure is decreased. (4) The safety factor for pullout resistance increases according to time after construction of anchor.
