Park orinted arboretum had characteristic not only enjoyment but learned to use all facility of park and exhibition at the same time to function of scientific research, education and park. Case study is conducted on the YU DAL SAN in Mok po city.
흰쥐 Kupffer 세포에 대한 Propofol의 작용

Background: Propofol has an antioxidant capacity and can be used for ischemia-reperfusion injury of the liver. However, the effects of propofol on the Kupffer cells have not been establisked. Methods: Kupffer cells were isolated and cultured from male Sprague-Dawley rats. The effects of propofol on the Kupffer cells were evaluated by a phagocytosis assay, TNF-α gene expression, and superoxide anion release after administering propofol in different concentrations on the cultured Kuprrer cells. Results: The latex bead phagocytosis by the Kupffer cells was suppressed when the Kupffer cells were exposed to propofol irrespective of concentrations. Higher propofol concentrations decreased the loss of Kupffer cells after latex bead phagocytosis. Propofol induced TNF-α mRNA expression in the Kupffer cells, but the mRNA expression level after 50㎍/ml of propofol decreased. The pattern of TNF-α mRNA expression induced by propofol was different to that induced by LPS: TNF-α mRNA was expressed continuously in the propofol-treated cells until 16 hours after exposure to propofol, whereas the level of TNF-α mRNA expression induced by LPS was evident after 2 hours and was not found thereafter. TNF-α production after propofol treatment was not higher than that of the control. Formazan presipitation did not show any qualitative differences between cells untreated or treated with propofol concentrations of 0.5, 5.0, and 50 ㎍/ml. Conclusions: These results showed that propofol might inhibit Kupffer cells. This suggests that propofol and be used for patients with ischemia-reperfusion injury of the liver. This study aims at revealing the physiological responses of dehydration (DH) and rehydration (RH) in intermittent exercises at the work intensity of 70% HR max. First, with general student public, three times of exercise (each for 20 minutes) at the given work intensity were taken, with a break for 25 minutes respectively. Their heart rate, rectal temperature and plasma electrolyte concentration both DH and RH were measured. Second, in two groups of athletes and non-athletes, 9 rounds of exercise (for 100 minutes) and 8 breaks (for 60 minutes) were taken, with RH forced 10 times to compensate for the subjects' water loss. Their change in sweat loss and plasma electrolyte concentration as well as the IVDP(Intensive Voluntary dehydration Phenomenon) were experimented. The summary of this research follows. 1) Mean heart rate and rectal temperature in intermittent exercises were higher at DH than at RH, growing up at the increasing level of DH. 2) RH saw no change in the plasma concentration of Na+, K+ and Cl-, while DH observed a significant increase. 3) HCO₃made a significant decrease at DH before growing up. 4) Mg++ had no change, while Ca++ increased significantly at RH and DH. 5) Lactate showed an increase with significance at RH and DH, especially greater at DH. 6) Osmotic pressure increased meaningfully at DH. 7) Anion gap increased significantly at DH and RH. 8) On the other hand, when the forced RH was held, the group of athletes had greater sweat loss per body surface area than that of non-athletes. 9) The athletes' plasma concentration of Na+ and Cl- revealed a clear decrease. 10) There was seen no significant change in the plasma concentration of K+, Mg++ and Ca++ in both groups. 11) The IVDP occurred at the RH of 2.3ℓfor athletes and more than 2.5ℓfor no-athletes.

This paper is a basic study on evaluation criteria for standard development of optimal planting. This paper is focused on systemical and resonable landscape woody plants. According to this study, we can make a better quality of green space and affect environmental improvement. The expect effect is as followed. 1. Optimal planting and tree selection is possible for maximazing potential power of site and landscape woody plants. 2. Landscape woody plants can be presented new harmonized planting pattern of ecology, function and aesthetics instead of former aesthetical woody plants. 3. This study can present new direction as planting indicator of landscape planting design. This study classify placement characteristics and trees, then allot weighted value as evaluation criteria. The Purpose of this study was to reveal the Law-Protected Trees related to the patterns of landuse according to the Hemeroby Index in Naju City. The results of this study were as follows : 1.According to the land pattern classification (in Naju City). it was appeared that the hightest hemeroby index part of the space is a oligo-hemeroby. 2.This study revealed that the most frequent hemeroby index based on the vegetation structure is a meta-hemeroby. 3.This research showed that major land utilization patterns of Law-Protected Trees are located both β-euhemeroby and α-euhemeroby. 4.The supplementary facilities where Law-Protected Trees are located consisted mainly of both poly-hemeroby and meta-hemeroby

An eleven year old castrated male Maltese was presented to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital of Chungnam National University. In physical examination, approximately 0.5 cm round mass was observed on tail base. This small elevated mass has also shown alopecic and firm configuration. It was differentially diagnosed as sebaceous adenoma and hyperplasia by fine needle aspiration. After surgical removal, the sample was diagnosed as sebaceous hyperplasia by histopathological examination. It has not yet shown any signs of recurrence and prognosis has teen good.

우리나라의 항생제 남용 문제는 세계적으로 심각 하다고 한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 정부는 다양한 정책을 도입하고 있으며 특히 축산물의 항생제 남용 문제를 해결하기위해 사료 관리법을 강화하여 항생제 사용을 억제하고 있어 항생제를 대체 할 물질이 필요하다. 이런 문제를 해결하기 위해서 우리나라의 다양한 해조류를 이용한 항생제 개발을 통해서 항생제 남용 문제를 해결하고 소비자들에게 믿을 수 있는 축산물을 제공 할 것으로 보인다. 외과적 보조의 급속상악확장술 : 치험 5예 REPORT OF 5 CASES

Five adults (3 cases of bilateral posterior crossbite, 2 cases of unilateral posterior crossbite) with intermaxillary discrepancy of over 5㎜ due to maxillary transverse deficiency were treated by surgically assisted rapid maxillary expansion (SARME). Bilateral maxillary horizontal osteotomies, osteotomies of pterygomaxillary junction and anterior lateral nasal wall, ans anterior palatal osteotomy were performed in 4 cases, and unilateral osteotomies in 1case, followed by palatal expansion with tooth-borne orthopedic applicance. No significant complication was observed. The mean palatal expansion was 7.2㎜ (5.8∼10.0㎜) in the maxillary first molar region. During the mean follow-up period of 4 years (5 months∼8 years 7 months), no recurrence of crossbite was observed in all cases. The SARME seemed to be a simple, stable, and reliable procedure for achieving a permanent increase of over 5㎜ in skeletal maxillary transverse width of adults.
