Taxonomic study of genus Ypsolopha (Lepidoptera: Ypsolophidae) from Korea

The genus Ypsolopha Latreille 1796, belongs to the family Ypsolophidae, small to medium sized micro-moth, with more than 140 described species around the world. More than 70% of the species are described from the Palearctic and Oriental Regions (Jin et al., 2013). Major taxonomic study of Ypsolopha carried out by following scholars. In the end of 18th to early of 20th century, Fabricius (1798), Hübner (1826), Agassiz (1846), Walshingham (1881, 1889), Busck(1903, 1906) and Meyrick (1914-1937). Furthermore, Moriuti (1964, 1977) studied total 17 Japanese Ypsolopha species and he divided 3 groups which based on fore- and hind- wing venations and shape of labial palpus. The first systematic study of the genus Ypsolopha carried out by K. T. Park (1983), discovered with four species, Ypsolopha blandella (Christoph), Y. yasudai Moriuti, Y. strigosa (Butler), Y. acuminata (Butler) in ‘Illustrated Flora & Fauna of Korea vol. 27 Insecta (Ⅸ)’ and ‘Check List of Insects from Korea’. After than, Ypsolopha longa Moriuti was discovered by Jeong et al.(1995). In 2001, Byun and Park, they described new species, Ypsolopha nigrimaculata Byun and Park. At the same time, Byun and Bae reported 3 newly recorded species; Y. cristata Moriuti, Y. japonica Moriuti, Y. parenthesella (Linnaeus). Up to date, 14 species have been recorded from Korea by Sohn (2010, 2011) with Y. amoenella (Christoph), Y. asperella (Linnaeus), Y. contractella (Caradja) and Y. acerella (Ponomarenko and Sohn). In the present study, we identified 14 species belonging to the genus, with some unidentified species. The materials examined come from the collection of Incheon National University.

Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is the most common human malignant neoplasm, accounting for 75% of all non-melanoma skin cancer. The incidence of BCC is strongly correlated with sun exposure as well as older age. Therefore, the vast majority of BCCs is observed in elderly patients on the sun-exposed skin of the head and neck with a frequency of more than 80%. BCC is very rare on sun-protected skin such as the perianal and genital regions and other etiologic factors must be considered in these cases. Although the pathogenesis of vulvar BCC is unclear, early diagnosis is very important. Because BCC in these areas sometimes seems innocuous, it is recommended that a biopsy of all suspect lesions be performed. We report a woman with BCC of the vulva treated with wide local resection and reviews the literatures on this subject.

관상동맥 질환에서 SDF-1α의 농도

Atherosclerosis is now viewed as an inflammatory disease of the vascular system. Expression of several chemokines, including monocyte chemoattractant protein(MCP)-1, MCP-4, RANTES(regulated on activation normal T-cell expressed and secreted), and interleukin-8(IL-8) are increased in human atherosclerotic plaques compared with normal vessels. They are involved in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis and plaque rupture by activating and directing leukocytes into the atherosclerotic lesions. However, some are involved in homeostatic functions such as normal leukocyte traffic and growth regulation. SDF-la is a multi-functional cytokine that is involved in myelogenesis, hematopoiesis, angiogenesis and injured gastric mucosal regeneration in the gastric ulcer patient. SDF-la is recently shown to be highly expressed in atherosclerotic plaques and a potent platelet agonist. At least in high concentrations, SDF-la may mediate antiinflammatory and matrix stabilizing effects in unstable angina. Many studies are going on to know the function of SDF-la in coronary artery diseases. I investigated the difference of the plasma level of SDF-la between control group and coronary artery disease group. Total 75 subjects were enrolled. The diagnosis of coronary artery disease was confirmed in all patients by coronary angiography. Control subjects in this study were confirmed normal by coronary angiography. Clinical profile and risk factors were also reviewed. Control subjects in this study were 27 (M=10, F=17). Plasma for the study was collected before the angiography and centrifuged. SDF-la analysis was performed by ELISA. Plasma level of SDF-la is significantly increased in patients with stable angina(n=20) and unstable angina group(n=28) compared with healthy control group(n=27). the risk factors do not influence the plasma level of SDF-la in coronary artery diseases. In this study, plasma level of SDF-la is increased in patients with stable angina and unstable angina groups compared with healthy control group(P<0.05). the risk factors do not influence the plasma level of SDF-la in coronary artery diseases.

체육교사들의 여가활동 유형의 참여도에 대한 분석 : 서울체고 . 인천체고 . 경기체고 . 부산체고를 중심으로

The purpose of the study is to analyze the participations of leisure activity patterns, employing 100 teachers with survey. The results are as followings: 1. Team sports was shown as highest rank out of various sports and health activites. Also recreation and social activities was shown as highest rank of participation by subjects with age of 36 to 45. 2. Jogging and walking was shown as highest rank by subjects with age of 20 to 25. 3. Watching T.V. and listening radio was shown as highest rank by subjects with age of 36 to 45. 4. For recreation and social activity, computer game by subjects with age 20 to 25 and driving by subjects with age 46 or over were shown equivalent. The implications and suggestions for future study are discussed in depth. This results of the study will contribute to give direction and field of leisure and recreation for further study in terms of improvement of life quality on this coming 22 century.

The purposes of this study were to compare, through a factor analysis, the perceived level of importance of 4 categories of features relating to food service management between salespeople and clients, to establish an effective marketing strategy for successful contracting. To obtain data on the perceived level of importance level of the factors affecting foodservice management contracts, questionnaires were developed using the Delphi technique, which were modified by apilot test. The questionnaires consisted of 4 categories and 19 items on the factors affecting foodservice management contracts, with the importance level of these factors measured on a 5 point-Liken type scale. Between March 12 and April 13 2003, the self-administrative questionnaires were mailed to the 60 salespeople and 280 clients. A total of 50 clients (25%) and 48 stlespeople(77%) responded to the questionnaires. As a result, forprivate contracts and in competitive hiding, the differences of the perceived importance level between the salespeople and clients of the 3 categories the appropriateness of foodservice operation plan, sales ability, the conditions and costs of the contract) were sis_naificant. For the 5 items relating to private contracts, Field trip, Menu Management Plan. Sanitation and Safety Management, Cost per meal and Food Cost per meal, both the salespeople and clients perceived high levels of importance for all these items. For competitive biding, both the salespeople and clients perceived high levels of importance for the 6 item the Fooxiservice operation supportive system, Field trip, Menu Management Plan, Renewal plans for interior and environment, Cost per meal and Food Cost per meal.

In order to manufacture a precision mold/die by machining, users need high speed & precision mold/die machining center. So, for development of this machine, we intend to use linear motor that is instead of ball-screw, servo-motor and coupling, high-speed spindle of pressurized air journal bearing and composite materials. In this paper we research column moving type and table moving type. The former is mainly piling 3 axes on one moving body, the latter is consist of two independent carriages. Both types are available to high speed & precision machine, but we finally draw a conclusion column moving type due to an advantage of high-speed control of linear motor.

여자 체조 이단평행봉 연기에 대한 분석

The purpose of the study is to help Korean women gymnasts get better grades in the international sports arena by understanding the world trends in this field based on the analyses of performances in the parallel bars, the weakest event among the four Korean women's gymnastic events. Value, connection value by which bonus points can be obtained, and start value were analyzed, excluding demerit marks in general performances, impressions, and art. The results of the study are as follows. In the analysis of value, the top four athletes implemented more parts than the average level while the four Korean athletes achieved less than the average level. According to the analysis of value parts D and E, the top four athletes received an average of 0.675 bonus points while the Koreans got 0.15, showing a great difference among them. The analysis of connection value by which bonus points can be obtained also showed stark contrast between the top four athletes and the Koreans marking bonus points of 0.50 and 0.075, respectively. The average start value of the top four athletes was 9.95, 0.925 higher than that of the Korean athletes of 9.025, which can be considered as a big difference. It is suggested that Korean athletes should focus on conducting high level of value parts and connection value to make greater achievements in the international sports arena, considering general demerit points were not included in this study. They are also needed to be confident in order to act to the best of their abilities.

제주에서 플러그묘의 육묘일수가 양배추 생육 및 수량에 미치는 영향

양배추 플러그 육묘시 적정 육묘일수를 구명하기 위하여 시험을 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 플러그묘가 육묘일수에 관계없이 노지육묘묘에 비해 정식시 뿌리의 손상이 적어 활착율이 높았다. 2. 정식초기에는 대묘를 정식한 노지육묘묘의 초장이 길었으나 정식 후 시간이 경과 할수록 플러그묘의 초장이 길어졌다. 3. 2월 수확시 상품수량이 가장 많았으며 25, 30일 플러그묘인 경우 구중은 차이를 보이고 있지 않지만 열구율이 적어 상품 수량이 많았으며 노지 육묘묘에 비해 각각 29.1%, 35.6%의 증수효과를 나타냈다. This experiment was carried out to determine the optimum age of transplant and plugseedlings on plant growth and marketable yields of cabbage in Cheju Island. Plugseedlings raised cabbages taking root rates were compared with outdoor seedling rates after planting. Shortly after planting, the plant height of large outdoor seedlings increased. However, with the passage of time after planting, the plant height of plugseedlings was greater than that of outdoor seedlings. Marketable yields were greatest at February harvest. There was no difference between 25 and 30 days old plugseedlings for head weight and head cracking rates decreased. The yields of 25 and 30 days old plugseedlings increased by 29.1% and 35.6%, respectively, compared to outdoor seedlings.

서울시내 고등학교 위탁급식의 급식비와 투자비의 실태 및 위탁업체의 기대수준 비교 분석

The purposes of this study were to a) find out the operational characteristics of the contract-managed highschool foodservice in Seoul, b) investigate the expected level of meal-price and facilities investment cost perceived by contract-managed highschool foodservice managers c) compare the present level and expected level of meal-price and facilities investment cost. From October 12 to November 13 in 2001, the questionnaires were mailed to 249 high schools which was managed by contract foodservice company with respondent rate 40.2%. Data were analyzed using SPSS Win(10.0) for descriptive analysis and one group paired t-test. The results of this study were as follows ; 1. The student enrollment of highschools run by contract-managed foodservice was 1,243 with 72.6% participation rate of school lunch program. The average meal-price was 2,138 won. The average annual period of school foodservice operation was 156.78 days per year. The average contracting period was about 3 years. 2. The average cost concerned in the facilities investment amounts 169,578,180 won at the initial investment and 25,204,092 won at the repairs and maintenance cost in the course of operation. 3. The present level of meal-price and facilities investment cost were respectively 2,136won/meal and 171,157,336.72 won. And expected level.of meal-price and amount of facilities investment cost were 2,418.75 won and 121,353,215.19 won. Comparing the present level with expected level of the meal-price and facilities investment cost, expected level of meal-price was significantly higher than the present level of meal-price(p<.001) and expected level of facilities investment cost was significantly lower than present level of facilities investment cost(p<.001).
