Abstract - This paper described a robust control of an induction motor using a disturbance cancellation observer of a feedforward control with Matlab simulink. The speed response of conventional PI controller characteristics is affected by variations of load torque disturbance. In the proposed system, the speed control characteristics using a feedforward control isn't affected by a load torque disturbance.

This paper is proposed the voltage type PWM converter that its power is able to flow bidirectionally between the 3 phase AC supply and DC bus voltage. This paper is proposed the compensation and the control methode related to a disturbance of synchronous signal and modulation angle delay using the low pass filter and phase shifter for the stable modulation. The instantaneous current controller is proposed, which is to be followed the actual current into reference current. And the validity is proved by the experiment and the simulation on the input or output characteristics using a proposed control algorithm.

In this paper, we proposed a Counter EMF MRAS(model reference adatation system)method. This using the indirect field oriented for calculated speed and a new reference model eliminated pure intergrator and low pass filter. So proposed controller have a robust speed identification and stable response. the described techiques are very simple, robust to motor's dynamic response. The proposed a new MRAS's effectiveness is verified by simulation using Matlab Simulink.

This paper is execute the adapt inspection to ascertain switching device model and induction motor model. Induction motor library is modeled for the adapt inspection, and three-phase PWM inverter with induction motor load is executed to simulation using PSPICE. Speed sensorless vector control of induction motor algorithms are modeled by taking use of closed loop and TMS320C31 DSP CPU PWM related circuit and interface circuit for expedite the result, and it is proved that the output of EPLD system and SIMULINK modeling simulation are almost same.

Locoregional recurrence is the most common type of recurrence in surgical operation of gastric adenocarcinoma, and peritoneal dissemination is one of the most difficult problems in advanced gastric adenocarcinoma treatment. Because the peritoneal cavity is the most common site of the first recurrence after gastric cancer resection, intraperitoneal chemotherapy seems a logical choice for cancer chemotherapy. In this study, Mitomycin C (MMC)-activated charcoal (CH)-alginate (ALG) beads were prepared by the mixtures of CH particles adsorbed with MMC as an anti-cancer drug and aqueous alginate solution. The alginate is recognized as biodegradable, nontoxic, and biocompatible. The release of MMC from the beads in 0.1 M Tris buffer was stable and continuous until about 1 week. The MMC-CH-ALG beads can be applied in the peritoneal cavity for intraperitoneal chemotherapy since they provide a good adhesiveness on the tissue and controlled release pattern of the drugs.

Background: Aquaporins (AQPs) are a family of water transporting proteins present in many mammalian epithelial and endothelial cell types. Among the AQPs, AQP3 is known to be a water/glycerol transporter expressed in human skin. Objective: The relationship between the expression level of AQP3 and transpidermal water loss (TEWL) in the lesional and peri-lesional skin of psoriasis-affected patients, and skin hydration in the lesional and peri-lesional skin of psoriasis patients, was investigated. Methods: The expression of AQP3 in psoriasis-affected and healthy control skin was determined using immunohistochemical and immunofluroscence staining. TEWL and skin hydration were measured using a Tewameter(R) TM210 (Courage & Khazaka, Cologne, Germany) and a Corneometer(R) CM 820 (Courage & Khazaka), respectively. Results: AQP3 was mainly expressed in the plasma membrane of stratum corneum and the stratum spinosum in normal epidermis. Unlike the normal epidermis, AQP3 showed decreased expression in the lesional and peri-lesional epidermis of psoriasis. TEWL was increased, and skin hydration was decreased, in the lesional and peri-lesional skin of psoriasis patients, compared with the healthy control sample. Conclusion: Although various factors contribute to reduced skin hydration in the lesional and peri-lesional skin of psoriasis, AQP3 appears to be a key factor in the skin dehydration of psoriasis-affected skin. Objective: Recently, osteoarthritis (OA) is regarded as another component of metabolic syndrome (MetS). Growing evidence has suggested that metabolic mediators contribute to the initiation and progression of the disease process. Although women suffer drastic metabolic change after menopause, the association between female reproductive factors, metabolic syndrome, sarcopenia and OA is unclear. The purpose of this study was to investigate the association of OA and multiple metabolic factors in midaged women. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study using the fifth Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2010-2012) and 3324 women between 50 and 60 years old was included in this study. MetS was diagnosed based on National Cholesterol Education Program-Adult Treatment Panel III criteria, Sarcopenia was defined as lower extremities skeletal muscle mass adjusted by weight. Results: In a multivariable logistic regression analysis, sarcopenia was was associated with radiographic knee OA (odds ratio 1.495;95% confidence interval 0.788-0.859; P=0.03). Even after adjusting for age, BMI, presence of metabolic syndrome, and menopause this association remained significant. Conclusion: There was a significant association between lower extremities skeletal muscle mass and radiographic knee OA in mid-aged women.
Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in young PCOS women

Objective: To evaluate whether excessive hyperandrogenicity in relation to insulin resistance in adolescents with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) contributes to the progression of metabolic disease and is associated with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) compared to adults diagnosed with PCOS. Methods: This was a retrospective cohort study evaluating women with PCOS aged between 13 and 35 years at the point of PCOS diagnosis without any other health condition that could influence liver function. PCOS phenotype, BMI, waist circumference, fasting and 2 hours postprandial insulin and glucose, homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance, fasting glucose insulin ratio, HDL, LDL, total cholesterol, triglycerides, DHEA-S, total testosterone, SHBG, free androgen index, Anti-mullerian hormone, Liver fibroscan, and abdominal ultrasound were assessed. Results: In PCOS women with NAFLD compared to those without, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance, SHBG, FAI, weight, BMI, waist circumference, total cholesterol, TG, HDL, LDL, HbA1c, fasting and 2 hours postprandial glucose, and AMH were statistically significantly higher. Interestingly, when adolescents and adults with PCOS were compared, there was no statistically significant difference in weight, BMI, waist circumference, HDL, insulin resistance, SHBG, FAI, obesity, metabolic syndrome, PCOS phenotype, and NAFLD occurrence. Conclusion: NAFLD frequently arises women with PCOS. Liver evaluation should be considered when patients present with elevated metabolic syndrome factors. Earlier diagnosis can lead to more timely treatment. Even though adolescents with PCOS have not been exposed to an insulin resistant environment for an extended period compared to adults, there were no statistically significant differences in the characteristics studied between adolescents and adults. Regardless of the age at which PCOS is diagnosed, comorbidities can lead to an increased metabolic risk so systematized investigation of NAFLD may be helpful.
