It usually affects cervicofacial, thoracic and abdominal tissue. Cervicofacial type has the highest percentage of occurrence with 50%. Actinomycosis frequently occurs following dental extraction, jaw surgery, chronic infection or poor oral hygiene. It may also be considered as an opportunistic infection in immunocompromised patients such as malignancy, human immunodeficiency virus infection, diabetes mellitus, steroid usage or alcoholism. But, actinomycosis rarely occurs in adults with normal immunity and rare in the esophagus. We report an unusual case of esophageal actinomycosis which was developed in a patient with normal immunity and improved by therapy with intravenous penicillin G followed oral amoxicillin, and we also reviewed the associated literature.

2016년 3월 31일부터 7월 31일까지 서울특별시 서초구 서초동에 위치한 서울고등학교 교정 일대를 서울고등학교 환경생물부 부원들이 채집 조사한 결과 20과 43속 53종의 거미가 조사 연구되어 이에 보고하는 바이다. From March 31st to July 31st in 2016, members of an environmental biology club at Seoul High School located in Seocho-gu, Seoul, Dae-Hee Kim, Dong-Woo Park, Jae-Woong Seo and Hyun-woo Lee, collected 20 families 43 genera 53 species of spiders and report the result of the study here.

The diagnostic requirements were suggested and explained regarding the systems of differentiation of symptoms and signs in the second year study of standardization and unification of the terms and conditions used for diagnosis in oriental medicine. The systems were as follows; - differential diagnosis according to condition of body fluid, differentiation of syndromes according to the state of qi and blood, differential diagnosis according to relative excessiveness or deficiency of yin and yang(氣血陰陽津液辨證) - differentiation of diseases according to pathological changes of the viscera and their interrelation - analyzing and differentiating of febrile diseases in accordance with the theory of the six channels(傷寒辨證) The individual diagnosis pattern was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name(異名), notion of diagnosis pattern, index of differentiation of symptoms and signs(辨證指標), the main point of diagnosis, analysis of diagnosis pattern(證候分析), discrimination of diagnosis pattern(證候鑑別), a way of curing a diseases(治法), prescription(處方), herb in common use(常用藥物), diseases appearing the diagnosis pattern(常見疾病), documents(文獻調査). This study was carried out on the basis of the Chinese documents and references.

마사지 요법이 고혈압 환자의 혈압에 미치는 영향

To closely examine the effects of the massage treatment as one method of curing hypertension by exploring the effects that one-time circulation-centered massage has on a hypertensive's blood pressure, this study selected as the subject ten among fifty-yea-old essential hypertensives visiting N clinic, and measured and compared their blood pressures before and after I gave them massage. After stabilizing them, I measured their b l d pressures. In their prone and supine postures, I gave them rubbing massage for twenty minutes from positions proximal to their hearts to ones distal from their hearts to help their artery circulation and circulation-centered strong massage for ten minutes from positions distal from their hearts to ones proximal to their hearts to help their vein circulation. After the massage, I had them rest for five minutes and measured their blood pressures. Regarding each item analyzed, I calculated the mean and standard deviation before and after the massage. The difference before and after the massage was tested by corresponding t-test and the level of significance was made p<0.05. The findings are as follows. First, systolic pressure was 157.70±7.48 before the massage and 143.00±9.39, which is less than before the massage, after the massage, showing statistically significant difference (p<.05). Secondly, diastolic pressure was 97.80±6.56 before the massage and 95.20±5.18, which is less than before the massage, after the massage, not showing statistically significant difference (p <.05).

공구형상이 칩유동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

A new methodology is presented to evaluate material properties at high strain rates and high temperatures based on orthogonal metal cutting experiments and FEM simulations. Average strain rate and average temperature found in the deformation zone are computed and flow stress data at these conditions are modified until cutting forces calculated in simulations match those determined in experiments. Material properties obtained from this method were verified by additional metal cutting simulations. Derivation from cutting forces measured in experiments was less than 10%. The feasibility of tool design using FEM simulations is also demonstrated.

HMG-CoA 환원효소 억제제에 의한 ICAM-1 유전자의 발현조절

Background : ICAM-1 act as one of major adhesion molecules in the atherosclerotic lesion. ICAM-1 expression is mainly regulated at the level of transcription and depend on IFN-γ signal transduction pathway in which the STAT1 transcrption factor is a critical intermediate. IFN-γreceptor not only initiates tyrosine 701 phosphorylation of STAT1 by Jak1 and Jak2, but also phosphorylates serine 727 through the activation of Raf-1/MAP kinases. HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors have anti-atherosclertic effects, beyond normalization of hypercholesterolemia, by directly acting on endothelial cells, macrophages and vascular smooth muscle cells. HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors suppress the synthesis of isoprenoid intermediates such as geranylgeranyl-pyrophosphate or farnesylpyrophosphate. These effects results inhibitors suppress the synthesis of isoprenoid intermediates such as geranylgeranyl-pyrophosphate or farnesylpyrophosphate. These effects results inhibition posttranslational farnesylation and geranyl-geranylation processing of small GTP-binding preoteins and inhibition of normal signaling activities. Method : We made several 5'-deletion constructs of rat ICAM-1 promoter and analyzed the promoter activities by measuring the luciferase activity after transfection into ECV304 cells and smooth muscle cells. We checked the level of total and phosphorylated STAT1 protein by immunoblot analysis using specific antibodies. Results : Lovastatin inhibits IFN-γ-induced ICAM-1 gene expression in the ECV304cell. The cells pretreated with PD98059, MEKK inhibitor showed significantly low ICAM-1 RNA induction with IFN-γ stimulatio. IFN-γ induced phosphorylation of tyrosine 701 was not significantly changed by the pretreatment of lovastatin. But lovastatin suppresses IFN-γ-induced phosphorylation of ERK1/ERK2 which are responsible for the seine 727 phosphorylation in STAT1. Conclusion : We showed that HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors, lovastatin, suppresses IFN-γ mediated ICAM-1 gene expression through the inhibition of transcription. HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor suppresses IFN-γ-induced phosphorylation of serine 727 in STAT1 through the modulation of MAP kinases.

생활사건, 사회지지, 대처방식에 대한 전환장애와 신체화장애와의 비교연구

This study was designed to compare conversion disorder, somatization disorder patients to the matched controls about life events, social support, and coping skills. The number of subjects were 22 with conversion disorder, 21 with somatizaion disorder and 19 normal controls. Stress items. Interpersonal social-support assesement items, and The ways of coping checklist for clinical assesement were administered to all subjects to evaluate each relevant areas. In life events, conversion disorder patients and somatization disorder patients showed significantly hight moderate events than normal controls. In social support and coping skills, patients with conversion disorder or somazation disorder were significantly lower than controls. Conversion disorder showed to have less active coping but more passive coping than those with somatization disorder. Conversion disorder patients reported more life events than somatization disorder patients along with lacking in social support and coping skills. Somazation disorder patients showed much higher superior support-seeking score than conversion disorder patients. These differences may be considered to play some role in showing different clinical manifestations in the somazation disorder and conversion disorder.

아동전문병원을 위한 전용서체에 관한 연구

The direction of the typeface of children's hospital helping the development of hospital's image and the propagation of patient's emotion, having good feeling of hospital is as follow; (1) In a children's hospital, there is almost no case having perpendicular writing or mixing Korean and chinese character. A combination letter type is the letter having both varity and uniformity in terms of moulding. The typeface having combination type is proper as the combination letter type is building in the cost with 1/8 degree compared to the complete letter type. (2) When considering typeface for a children's hospital, the simple letter type has good impression which is more distinguishable compared to Ming type. (3) The association of letters and such objects as animals, flowers, insects, birds and so on in the familiar style for children makes the image of hospital distinguishable. Even this case, the simple style make distinguishable and help good feeling for children compared to the detailed description. (4) Children like solid color and can make the distinction of color more distinguishable than light and darkness.

고리해역에서의 해수유동에 관한 연구

The flow patterns in the Gori area was studied to find the characteristics of warm water diffusion and the radioactive materials dispersion. Fiend measurements were carried out for one year(1998.11-1999.8) and current velocity and direction, water temperature, salinity data were achieve in this field measurements. The numerical simulations were also carried out by using depth-averaged 2-D flow model.The calculated data were compared with measured data and the results show farely good agreement.
