These days, our environmental pollution has been greatly threatened by various exhaust emissions from diesel engines for transportation, and there is a tendency that regulations on this are very strengthened. In this study, when biodiesel and water-cooled EGR are simultaneously applied to common rail diesel engines, which occupy most of passenger diesel engines, the characteristics of exhaust smoke and NOx were investigated. As a result of this experiment, as a result of applying less than 10% EGR to 5% biodiesel mixed fuel, it was found that smoke and NOx emissions can be simultaneously reduced.

In recent years, our reality is facing a serious risk of air pollution from transport vehicles. In particular, various exhaust emissions from diesel engines are pointed out as a serious cause of environmental pollution. This study attempted to study the potential of biodiesel as an alternative energy for CRDI diesel engines. When biodiesel 30% was applied, the smoke emission was reduced by 40% at 4000rpm compared to diesel. On the other hand, there was no significant difference in output, torque, and energy consumption. However, NOx emissions tended to increase compared to diesel. The applicability of biodiesel to CRDI diesel engines has been demonstrated for the characteristics of output and smoke emissions.
특성 구성과 GenVoca 아키텍처에 기반한 컴포넌트 재구성 자동화 도구

Recently a lot of researches on the component-based software product lines and on applying generative programming into software product lines are being performed actively. This paper proposes an automatic component reconfiguration tool that could be applied in constructing the component-based software product lines. Our tool accepts the reuser's requirement via a feature model which is the main result of the domain engineering, and makes the feature configuration from this requirement. Then it generates the source code of the reconfigured component according to this feature configuration. To accomplish this process, the component family in our tool should have the architecture of GenVoca that is one of the most influential generative programming approaches. In addition, XSLT scripts provide the code templates for implementation elements which are the ingredients of the target component. Taking the 'Bank Account' component family as our example, we showed that our component reconfiguration tool produced automatically the component source code that the reuser wants to create. The result of this paper would be applied extensively for creasing the productivity of building the software product lines. 최근 컴포넌트 기반의 소프트웨어 프러덕트 라인에 대한 연구와 소프트웨어 프러덕트 라인에 자동 생성 프로그래밍 기법을 적용하기 위한 연구가 활발히 진행 중이다. 본 논문은, 컴포넌트 기반의 소프트웨어 프러덕트 라인 개발에 활용될 수 있는 컴포넌트 재구성 자동화 도구를 제안한다. 본 도구는 도메인 공학의 주요 산물인 특성 모델로부터 재사용자의 요구 사항을 받아들여 특성 구성(feature configuration)을 만들고 이를 바탕으로 재구성된 컴포넌트 코드를 자동으로 생성한다. 이를 위하여 컴포넌트 패밀리는 자동 생성 프로그래밍의 한 기법인 GenVoca의 아키텍처를 가지며 XSLT 스크립트가 컴포넌트를 구성하는 구현 부품의 코드 템플릿을 제공한다. '은행 계좌' 컴포넌트 패밀리를 사례 연구로 하여 본 논문의 컴포넌트 재구성 자동화 도구가 재사용자의 목적에 맞는 컴포넌트를 자동으로 생성함을 보였다. 본 논문의 연구 결과는 소프트웨어 프러덕트 라인 개발의 생산성을 향상시키는데 응용될 수 있다.
Butyl Ether 적용시 디젤기관의 배기배출물 특성 연구

In this study, when Butyl ether, a type of diether-based oxygenated fuel, is mixed in each volume ratio in a naturally aspirated direct injection diesel engine, the exhaust gas emission characteristics of the oxygenated component in the fuel affect each operating area of the engine I wanted to investigate the effect on. For comparative measurement of engine performance and exhaust emissions, commercial diesel and butyl ether mixed fuels were classified into 4 types according to the mixing ratio and tested. As the content of butyl ether in fuel increases, soot emission reduction increases, and when the maximum mixing amount of butyl ether (diesel 80vol-% + BE 20vol%) is applied, compared to the case of using only diesel as fuel, at 2500 rpm and no load, 39%, and about 32% of smoke reduction effect at full load was confirmed.

In this study, the potential possibility of bioenergy was investigated as an alternative fuel for a naturally aspirated indirect injection diesel engine. The smoke emission of biodiesel fuel was reduced remarkably in comparison with diesel fuel, that is, it was reduced approximately 64% at 2500rpm, full load condition. And, power, torque and brake specific energy consumption showed no significant differences. However, NOx emission of biodiesel fuel was slightly increased compared with the commercial diesel fuel.
CRDI 기관에서 CITY MODE에 따른 바이오디젤 20% 적용특성

Biodiesel is a remarkable alternative fuel for the diesel engine among various countries. Various studies are carried out on the environmental and economic effects as well as the nature of diesel engine fuel biodiesel in the combustion process and emission characteristics. In this study, CRDI diesel engines used diesel fuel and 20 % biodiesel blend fuel (BD 20 %) as fuel, with City-mode exceeding 300 hours. Engine performance and emissions were sampled at one-hour intervals for analysis. The engine was inspected after testing to check the engine parts (valves and injectors). It was concluded that 300 hours of operation using BD 20 % does not cause abnormal deterioration of the engine or abnormal changes in engine power and exhaust gas.
