        최소차 하천의 임계면적에 따른 유역 지형매개변수의 변화특성

        The size of minimum order stream has a very sensitive effect on runoff analysis model using the divergence characteristic of stream. Therefore, in this study, the threshold area of minimum order stream has been examined the change characteristic of topographical parameters. The subject basin of the research was the upper basin of the Kumho water gage station which is located in the middle of the Kumho river. The 1:25,000 numerical geography which was constructed 10×lOm mesh was used. The range of investigation of topographical parameters are number of stream order, length, area, slope, basin relief, sinuosity ratio, drainage density and total stream length etc. It was found from the result of analysis that the threshold value of minimum order stream has a very big effect on topographical parameters of basin. It was found that the threshold area of minimum ord er stream revealed under 0.10km². Furthermore, the parameters showed a serious change except for over 0.10km².

        Transthyretin의 Glutathione 자동산화 촉진작용

        When reduced glutathione(GSH) was incubated at neutral pH and at 37°, its concentration decreased slowly with formation of oxidized glutathione(GSSG). Autooxidation of GSH was accelerated by Cu^(2+) and Hg^(2+), but not by other common mono-, di-, and tri-valent cations. Transthyretin was found to stimulate autooxidation of GSH in the presence or absence of Cu^(2+) and Hg^(2+). EDTA inhibited perfectly the autooxidation of GSH regardless of the presence of transthyretin. The stimulating activity of transthyretin was maximal at pH 7.0, declining progressively with increase or decrease of pH from 7.0. Sulfhydryl-blocking agents such as p-hydroxymercuribenzoic acid and Nethylmaleimide markedly inhibited the stimulating activity of transthyretin. Transthyretin stimulated autooxidation of other sulfhydryl compounds such as clithiothreitol and cysteine. However, it did not show a significant effect on autooxidation of sulfhydryl group of egg albumin and eye lens proteins. And transthyretin did not cause any oxidative change to thyroxine(T₄), 3, 5, 3Ltri iodo thyronine(T₃) and 3, 3: 5~triiodothpnine(rT₃) bound to it in the presence of GSH and Cu^(2+). The above results suggest that transthyretin may play a role in regulation of oxidized status of sulfhydryl groups in blood plasma and cerebrospinal fluid

      • TPA로 야기된 HL-60 세포의 기질부착 저해작용을 이용한 Protein Kinase C 저해 생약의 탐색

        Thirty-five kinds of herbal drugs, believed to be active for treatment of tumors, were selected as the experimental materials for observing their effects on TPA-induced adherence of HL-60 cell and activity of protein kinase C. They were extracted with ethyl ether(E) and ethyl acetate(EA), methanol(M) in sequence. Among the extracts, Sophorae Flos(EA), Paeoniae Radix(EA), Equisetum hiemale(EA), Phellodendri Cortex(E, EA), Mori Cortex radicis(EA), Ferula assafoetida(E, EA), Sophora subprostrata(EA, M) and Cnidium monnieri(E) inhibited the TPA-in-duced adherence of HL-60 cell more than 50% and Sophorae Flos(E, EA, M), Paeoniae Radix(E, EA, M), Eguisetum hiemale(E), Phellodenri Cortex(E,H), Mori Cortex radicis(M), Ferula assafoetida(M), Sophora subprostrata(EA, M), Cnidium monnieri(M) and Artemisia argyi(M) showed inhibiting effects on the activity of protein kinase C more than 50%. The extracts showing good inhibiting effects on the adherence and enzyme activity were Sophorae Flos(EA), Paeoniae Radix(EA), Phellodendri Cortex(E), Sophora subsprostrate(EA) and Equisetum hiemale(EA).

      • 위암 환자에서 세포성 면역 기능에 관한 연구

        We performed a variety of lymphocyte stimulation tests, delayed hypersensitivity skin tests, and enumeration of several lymphocyte subpopulations in 21 patients with gastric cancer who did not receive any form of anticancer therapy, and in 20 healthy controls. The gastric cancer patients had significantly decreased number and total score of positive reactions in delayed hypersensitivity skin tests compared with the healthy controls. The percent of CD_(4) positive lymphocytes in the gastric cancer patients was significantly decreased compared to the normal control subjects, but it had no correlation with the total score of delayed cutaneous hypersensitivity reactions. The ratio of helper to suppressor cells was lower in the cancer group. The uptake of 3H-thymidine was markedly depressed in cancer patients when stimulated with various mitogens. There was little correlation between any of the stimulation tests and any of the lymphocyte subpopulation proportions to delayed hypersensitivity cutaneous reactions. Optimal proliferative response was found in lymphocytes stimulated with 10 micrograms of concanavalin-A and 10 microgram of phytohemagglutinin. Advanced stage patients had greatly depressed delayed hypersensitivity skin reactions and proliferative responses to mitogens compared with localized diseases. These results suggest that gastric cancer patients have depressed cellular immune functions, which mainly result from the decreased helper cells and defects in functional proliferative response to mitogens. Interleukin-2 and interferon-gamma restored the in vitro proliferative response of lymphocyte in patients with gastric cancer.

        The purpose of this study was to reform practically a Korean Judo's Doechigi-Bon(Forms of Counterattack, judo's Gaeshi no Kata, Judo's Uradori no Kata, Judo's Gonosen no Kata) that was established in 1955 Korea, according to changing of techniques by Judo's modernization, in order to have Judo's carefulness and systematic diffusion.         국내산(國內産) 농산부산물(農産副産物) 발효사료(醱酵飼料)를 급여(給與)한 재래산양(在來山羊)의 사료섭취량(飼料攝取量) 및 소화율(消化率)

        In this study, by-products of rice bran, rice hull, bean curd dregs and food waste were fermented with different ratios of 26,26,34 and 14% respectively and the experimental diets were prepared mixing it with various ratios of commercial diets (fermented feed : commercial feed ; A 80 : 20,B 70 : 30,C 60 : 40,D 50:50). In Experiment I, feed intake, nutrients digestibilities and nitrogen retention were investigated and body weight gain in Experiment Ⅱ. 1. For chemical composition of experimental diets, crude protein contents were 13.73, 13.78,14.45 and 15.14% in A, B,C and D respectively and the contents of crude fat and crude fiber were highest in A as 8.66 and 27.82% respectively. 2. Dry matter intakes were significantly higher (P<0.05) in A(362.06g/d) and C(358.49g/d) than B and D. Intakes of crude protein and crude fat were not significantly different (P〉0,05) among treatments however those of crude fiber and crude ash were significantly higher (P〈0.05) in A(101.47g/d). 3. Dry matter digestibilities in the range of 53.38~68.81% in all treatments have shown the highest value in C of 60% fermented feed plus 40% commercial diet but the lowest in A of 80% of fermented feed plus 20% commercial diet (1<0.05). 59.85% of digestibility of crude protein in A was also lowest among all treatments (P<0.05). 4. 8.47g/d of nitrogen intake in C was recorded highest (P<0.05) however the highest nitrogen retention was marked in D of 50% fermented feed plus 50% of commercial diet due mainly to lower excretion of nitrogen through feces. 5. The data of live weight gain in Experiment n has not been shown as a result since the proper daily gain of body weight was achieved only in D as 88.89g/d and the goats in other treatments have shown frequent diarrhea. However, neglecting the animals with diarrhea, higher amounts of concentrates in the diets (C and D) showed the tendency of higher weight gain. 6. In this study, feeding 60% fermented feed manufactured with domestic agricultural by-products of rice bran, rice hull, bean curd dregs and food waste to Korean native goats have shown satisfactory results of intake and digestibility and it indicates that utilization of domestic agricultural by-products in goats could be improved by the process of fermentation. However it’s effects on body weight gain and nitrogen retention were below than expected. Different sources of feedstuff for fermentation may result in different performances of animals. However, to draw overall conclusion from this study, 50~60% of fermented feed can be recommended in the case of mixing with concentrates.
