        Background : The cun measurement System, an essential and convenient method in locating acupoints, has been widely used in the practice of acupuncture. However, traditional cun measurement has been criticized for its lack of reliability. Objectives : The purposes of this study are to determine if one cun measured by the directional methods have a consistency with that of proportional methods and to investigate which factors are related with these differences, especially in forearm. Methods : The distance between the elbow crease and the wrist crease of forearm was compared to a reference value of one cun obtained by the directional method. In this method, one cun is one third of the distance between index finger and Small finger of a subject, measured at proximal interphalangeal joint. In addition, to investigate the factors influencing the differences between these two methods, we measured the height and body weight and calculated body mass index (BMI). Finally we analyzed the factors correlated with these lengths by linear regression test. Results : The results showed that one cun obtained by the directional methods were significantly different from one cun by the proportional methods in forearm. It was demonstrated that the length acquired with the directional method was more correlated with body weight and body mass index, while the length obtained by the proportional method was more correlated with the height.

        THE EFFECT OF PRIMING ETCHED DENTIN WITH SOLVENT ON THE MICROTENSILE BOND STRENGTH OF HYDROPHOBIC DENTIN ADHESIVE

        장기적인 상아질 접착의 내구성 악화는 접착층과 혼성층의 친수성 부위에서의 가수분해에 의해 일어나는 것으로 보고 되고 있다. 본 연구의 가설은 콜라겐 망상체를 유기용매로 프라이밍하면 콜라겐 조직을 붕괴시키지 않고 수분을 밀어내고 소수성 단량체와 유기용매로 이루어진 접착제가 침투하여 접착강도를 얻을 수 있다는 것이다. 두 소수성 단량체인 Bisphenol-A-glycidylmethacrylate (Bis-GMA)와 triethyleneglycol dimethacrylate (TEGDMA)를 아세톤, 에탄올 또는 메탄올에 용해시켜 세 가지의 실험용 접착제를 준비하였다. 산 부식과 수세과정 후에, 접착제를 습윤 상아질 표면(습윤 접착)이나 동일한 용매로 프라이밍 된 상아질 표면(용매 프라이밍 접착)에 적용하였다. 48시간 후와 1개월 후, 및 10.000회의 열순환 후에 미세인장결합강도를 측정하였다 접착계면은 주사전자현미경을 이용하여 관찰하였다. 접착방법에 무관하게 대부분의 시편의 접착계면예서 잘 발달된 혼성층을 관찰할 수 있었고 가장 높은 평균 미세인장결합강도는 에탄올을 포함하는 접착제의 48시간 후 시편에서 관찰되었다. 용매를 이용하여 프라이밍하는 접착 방법에서는 에탄올이나 메탄올을 포함하는 접착제에서 열순환 후에 미세인장접착강도가 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 그러나 습윤 접착의 경우에는 시효처리 후 미세인장결합강도의 증가가 관찰되지 않았다. 본 연구에서 에탄올을 이용한 상아질 프라이밍으로 우수한 접착력을 얻을 수 있었고. 열순환 후 접착력이 더욱 증가하였다 Deterioration of long-term dentin adhesion durability is thought to occur by hydrolytic degradation within hydrophilic domains of the adhesive and hybrid layers. This study investigated the hypothesis that priming the collagen network with an organic solvent displacc water without collapse and thereby obtain good bond strength with an adhesive made of hydrophobic monomers and organic solvents. Three experimentaladhesives were prepared by dissolving two hydrophobic monomers bisphenol-A-glycidylmethacrylate (Bis-GMA) and triethyleneglycol dimethacrylate (TEGDMA), into acetone, ethanol or methanol. After an entching and rinsing procedure, the adhesives were applied onto either wet dentin surfaces (wet bonding) or dentin .surfaces primed with the same solvent (solvent-primed bonding). Microtensile bond strength (MTBS) was measured at 48 hrs, 1 month and after 10,000 times of thermocycles. The bonded interfaces were evaluated using a scanning electron microscope (SEM) Regardless of bonding protocols, weIl-developed hybrid layers were observed at the bonded interface in most specimens. The highest mean MTBS was observed in the adhesive containing ethanol at 48 hrs. With solvent-primed bonding increased MTBS tendencies were seen with thermocycling in the adhesives containing ethanol or methanol. However in the case of wet bonding, no increase in MTBS was observed with aging.

        In modern economic societies, individuals are governed by organizations and they manage their daily lives in one way or another through such organizations. And all organizational activities are carried out by the job performance of individuals. Job is a very important factor for both individuals and organizations. From this point of view, it can be really important to devise measures to raise the job satisfaction of organizational members by examining job characteristics and individual characteristics in organizations. Many researches conclude that workers experience a positive mental state and this brings out a high job satisfaction and performance depending on job characteristics and individual characteristics. To examine the influence of job characteristics and individual characteristics on job satisfactions, this research took independent variables as the core job characteristics of the job characteristic theory such as functional variety, job stagnation, job importance, self-control, feed back, and personal relations, and moderate variables as the intensity of desire for promotion and personality characteristics. This research was obtained cooperation from the members of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation. The questionnaire was basically composed of five points per question. The questionnaire was collected 307 copies, showing a high rate of collection (90.3%). 300 copies of the collection was used for my analysis data. And This research was used factor analysis reliability analysis, regression analysis, and T-test for our statistical analysis. As a result, research concludes: First, to raise the job desire of organizational members, job must be designed in such a way that the members can highly recognize their job characteristics. Second, job must be designed not uniformly, but systematically in consideration of personality characteristics and desire for promotion.

        면역방사계수법을 이용한 Thyroglobulin 측정시 항 Thyroglobulin 항체의 존재가 미치는 영향

        연구배경: 혈청 thyroglobulin (Tg)은 옥소전신스캔과 함께 분화갑상선암환자에서 갑상선암 재발에 대한 추적관찰에 매우 예민하고, 중요한 표지자로 임상에서 널리 이용된다. 그러나 많은 수의 분화갑상선암환자는 Tg 항체인 항 Tg 항체를 가지고 있고, 이는 방사면역검사법 (radioimmunoassay) 및 면역방사계수 검사법(immunoradiometric assay)으로 Tg 측정시 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 이에 연자들은 면역방사계수법으로 Tg를 측정할 경우, 항 Tg항체에 의하여 어떤 영향이 생길수 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 방법: 이중위치 고상법 (solid phase two-site)법을 이용하는 ELSA-hTg in vivo test (CIS international, Schering, France) 시약을 이용하여 Tg를 측정하였다. Tg과 항 Tg 항체는 검사시약에 포함된 표준용액을 사용하였으며, Tg는 두 가지 농도 (23.5 ng/mL, 62.5 ng/mL)로, 항 thyroglobulin 항체는 세 가지 농도(25U/mL, 50U/mL, 100U/mL)로 이용하였다. Tg가 높게 나타나는 환자의 혈청에 항 Tg 항체가 높게 나타나는 환자의 혈청을 혼합하여 동일한 방법으로 Tg 검사를 시행하였다. 통계학적 분석은 ANOVA와 Scheffe test 및 Quadratic regression modeling을 시행하였다. 결과: 면역방사계수법을 이용한 Tg 측정시 항 thyroglobulin 항체가 존재하는 경우 그 값이 낮게 측정되었다. Tg 농도가 23.5 ng/mL인 표준용액이 항 Tg 항체의 농도가 0, 25, 50 및 100U/mL 경우, 각각 24.5±1.1, 11.8±0.4, 7.7±0.1 및 4.5±0.4ng/mL로 측정되었으며, Tg 농도가 62.5 ng/mL인 표준용액은 각각 65.9±5.7, 36.3±2.2, 23.7±0.7, 및 14.0±1.0 ng/mL로 측정되었다(ANOVA test, p=0.000). 항 Tg 항체에 의한 Tg 측정값의 저하 정도는 항 Tg 항체의 농도에 비례하는 것으로 나타났다 (Quadratic model regression, SigT=0.000). 결론: 분화갑상선암환자에서 항 Tg 항체의 존재는 면역방사계수법을 이용한 혈청 Tg 측정으로 갑상선암 재발을 파악하는데 방해하는 인자로 작용될 수 있으며, Tg 측정시 항 Tg 항체의 측정이 꼭 필요하며, 항 Tg 항체를 가진 분화갑상선암환자에서 Tg 수치를 해석할 경우 세심한 주의가 요구된다. Background: Serum thyroglobulin (Tg) is a valuable and sensitive tool needed in the follow-up of patients with differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC), but antithyroglobulin antibody (Anti-Tg), common in patients with DTC, can interfere with the assay for Tg. In this study, we evaluated the influence of Anti-Tg on the measurement of Tg using the immunoradiometric assay (IRMA). Methods: In using ELSA-hTg in vivo test (CIS international, Schering, France), a solid phase two-site IRMA was used to measure Tg (23.5 ng/mL, 62.5 ng/mL) under the absence or presence of three concentrations of Anti-Tg (25U/mL, 50U/mL, 100U/mL). We also performed Tg measurement using patients serum that was mixed with patients serum containing high Anti-Tg. ANOVA and Scheffe tests were performed to evaluate the effect of Anti-Tg on Tg IRMA, and an inverse regression was made to calculate the level of Tg from measured Tg and used Anti-Tg levels and also to assess the degree of effect of anti-Tg on Tg IRMA. Results: In measuring Tg using the standard solution, the presence of Anti-Tg resulted in a falsely suppressed Tg value. The IRMAs for 23.5ng/mL of the standard Tg solution resulted in 24.5±1.1 ng/mL under no Anti-Tg, 11.8±0.4 ng/mL under 25U/mL of Anti-Tg, 7.7±0.1 ng/mL under 50U/mL of Anti-Tg, and 4.5±0.4 ng/mL under 100U/mL of Anti-Tg. IRMAs 62.5 ng/mL of the standard Tg solution resulted in 65.9±5.7 ng/mL under no Anti-Tg, 36.3±2.2 ng/mL under 25U/mL of Anti-Tg, 23.7±0.7 ng/mL under 50U/mL of Anti-Tg, and 14.0±1.0 ng/mL under 100U/mL of Anti-Tg. (ANOVA test, p=0.000). The degree of suppression of the measured Tg value was positively correlated with the Anti-Tg level (Quadratic model regression, Sig T=0.000). The presence of Anti-Tg also resulted in a falsely suppressed Tg value for the Tg measurement using patient's serum. 2004). Conclusion: The presence of Anti-Tg could consist of the use of Tg as a tumor, therefore Anti-Tg should be measured in all patients diagnosed with DTC. The interpretation of the Tg level must be performed with extreme caution in patients with Anti-Tg (J Kor Soc Endocrinol 19:42∼47, 2004)

        PLC system is used for the purpose of decentralized control and allows data transmission between programable controllers to be easily performed by using an exclusive relay area. The programming language is important to operate the system. In this paper, it is used SFC(Sequence Function Cahrt) programming language to decrease the execution time with compare the ladder diagram program method. As a result, the SFC programming language process time is faster about 20∼30(%) than the ladder diagram programming.

        정상 면역 성인에서 발생한 거대세포바이러스 위염 1예

        거대세포바이러스 감염은 주로 면역기능이 저하된 환자에서 치명적인 기회감염으로 잘 나타나는 질환이다. 한편 면역 상태가 정상인 사람에서 발생되는 경우는 매우 드물다. 저자들은 심와부 동통과 구토를 주소로 내원한 정상면역의 27세 남자 1예를 보고한다. 상부위내시경상위 점막 결절상과 궤양소견을 보였고, 위 점막 결절과 궤양부위 조직검사상 거대세포바이러스 봉입체의 관찰로 거대세포바이러스 위염을 진단하였다. 최근 감염과 일차감염을 나타내는 거대세포바이러스 Ig M 항체는 양성이었다. Ganciclovir와 proton pump 억제제를 병용하여 치료하였고 증상 호전과 거대세포바이러스 seroconversion을 확인하였다. 저자들은 거대세포바이러스가 정상면역 성인에서 위 궤양을 일으킬 수 있는 경우를 경험하여 보고하는 바이다. Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infections are usually reported in immunocompromised patients. However, it occurs rarely in immunocompetent individuals. A case of CMV associated with stomach ulcers and mucosal nodules is reported in a immunocompetent host. A previously healthy 27-year-old man visited our hospital with a thirty-day history of epigastric pain and a nine-day history of vomiting. The demonstration of intranuclear inclusion bodies in a few gastric glandular epithelial cells contributed to the diagnosis of CMV gastritis. Treatment with a proton pump inhibitor and ganciclovir was successful to mitigate the epigastric pain and vomiting.

        Morphometric and Genetic Variability Among Tylenchulus semipenetrans Populations from Citrus Growing Area in Korea

        Tylenchulus semipenetrans, citrus nematode is an important phytopathogenic nematode and responsible for serious damage on citrus. However, little information is available about genetic variability of T. semipenetrans among different populations with variation of conventional diagnostic characteristics. In this study, we compared the morphometric and genetic characteristics among different populations. The mature female of T. semipenetrans collected in this study had thicker cuticle than those in the previous studies. In comparative sequence analysis of T. semipenetrans populations obtained from Jeju in Korea, we observed genetic variations within clones generated from single individuals. To determine whether variability among copies of nuclear ribosomal DNA sequences exists in the genome of T. semipenetrans, PCR-RFLP technique from individuals of Korean isolates with MseI and MspI restriction enzymes was used to prove experimentally that all populations have intra-specific variations. Restriction enzyme digestion created several fragments on 3.0% agarose gel corresponding to several haplotypes in all populations, though some populations displayed fragment deletion. The total length of fragments was larger than before digestion, indicating sequence heterogeneity within the genome of T. semipenetrans.
