        Floristic characteristics of vascular plants and first distributional report of Pseudostellaria baekdusanensis M. Kim in Yongneup wetland protected area

        Yongneup wetland protected area, the only high moor in Korea, is a core area to conserve biodiversity. Even though the Yongneup wetland protected area is relatively small, various plant species are distributed in the Yongneup wetland protected area because it includes various habitats showing different environmental gradients. Vascular plants distributed in the Yongneup wetland protected area were identified as a total of 376 taxa that is composed of 73 families, 217 genera, 322 species, 3 subspecies, 44 varieties and 7 forms. For endangered plants designated by the Ministry of Environment, 5 species including Trientalis europaea var. arctica, Lilium dauricum, Halenia corniculata, Lychnis wilfordii and Menyanthes trifoliata were found and 34 taxa were confirmed to be distributed only in the mountainous wetland habitats. Regarding naturalized plants, a total of 11 taxa were distributed, but most of them were distributed in the areas where artificial interference has occurred. And in areas inside the wetlands that are relatively well preserved, 2 species of Bidens frondosa and Erigeron annuus were observed. In this study, the occurrence and distribution of Pseudostellaria baekdusanensis M. Kim, which was recently found in Mt. Baekdu and reported as a new species, were identified in the Yongneup wetland protected area. A wetland is a very vulnerable area to drastic environmental changes and damages to its ecosystem could cause the extinction of rare plant species which are distributed only in the wetlands. Therefore, it is mandatory that current status of the Yongneup wetland protected area is evaluated and actions to prevent rapid environmental changes are taken. Fourteen separate investigations were conducted in 2013 and another four in 2014, to evaluate current status of the Yongneup wetland protected area. These investigations have provided us the basic information for future actions of conservation and restoration.

      • 黃柏에서 抽出한 多糖類의 抗癌作用에 대한 硏究

        In order to investigate antitumor activities of the extracted polysaccharides from Phellodendron chinense SCHNEID, the following studies were carried out. Phellodendron chinense SCHNEID was extracted with hot water and alkali, and the extracted polysaccharides showed antitumor activities against mice Sarcoma-180 solid tumors in parameters of tumor weight, inhibition ratio, thymidilate synthetase(TS) and thymidine kinase(TK) activities. The results were as follows : 1. Delipidated extracts from Phellodendron chinense SCHNEID, were systematically fractionated, the heteropolysaccharide contains D-N-acetylglucosamine, D-galactose, D-mannose, D-glucose. The molecular weight distribution of the sample was found to be nearly homogeneous (about from 200 to 1000 kDa) in gel permeation analysis. 2. Among the polysaccharide fractions, the water extracted fractions, particularly Fr.-2, showed a potent growth-inhibitory activity against implanted in mice Sarcoma 180 solid tumor (inhibition, 95.3%, at 2 ㎎/100g), but the cold alkali extract (Fr.-4) showed a very low activity (inhibition; 4.7%). Fr.-7 and Fr.-8 showed the highest tumor inhibitory activity (inhibition; 96.4 and 98.2%, respectively). 3. TS activity in the Fr.-2 given oral administration of propolis was markedly suppresed to 73.7% of that in the control (p<0.01 by Student's t-test). However, there was little difference in TK activity with a slight decrease in Fr.-2 only.

      • 光彈性 및 有限要素法에 依한 Dove-tail Notoh의 應力集中에 關한 硏究

        When a load is put on the parts of the rapidly changing section area like in notch, fillet, keyway, screwthread etc, there may occur some stress concentration, crack and fracture in the structures of machines, buildings, bridges, ships, aircrafts, industrial plant machines, atomic power plant machines and the machines for civil engineering architecture or agriculture. Many researchers such as Neuber, Frocht, Vicentini, Flynn etc. have tried to find out the cause of fracture by photoelastic experiments. When Tuner settled the aircraft structure analysis by finite element method in 1956. Agyris, Ritz, C.A. Felippa, J.T. Oden, Zienkiewicz etc. extended the finite element method to wide applicaton to hydrodynamics, electric field, thermal transmission, underground water, soil, atomic technology, the ground, biotechnics, and even to the stress concentration problem which is one of the machine design field. There are some struchural analysis methods of the strength of materials, photelastic and the finite element method. They have the same object for design of strength and stiffness, but each method and priciple is very different. In this paper I studied the stress concentration and the stress distribution on dove-tail notch by photoelastic and finite element method and tried to show the relasation of stress concentration.

      • 달성 도동서원의 경관보존관리방안

        본 연구는 달성 도동서원의 보호구역 설정 및 이에 따른 경관보존관리방안 마련을 위한 연구로서 집약된 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보존권역 설정의 경우, 주산인 대니산과 안산인 제석산, 명당수인 낙동강을 기점으로 성리학적 자연관에 입각한 서원의 입지, 김굉필 묘소 등 배향인물과 관련된 문화적 요소, 수월루를 경관조망점으로 하는 경관가시권역, 토지용도, 지적사항 등을 고려한 체계적인 보호권역 설정의 타당성을 제시하였다. 둘째, 조망경관확보의 경우 초근경과 근경의 경우 서원 전면의 주차장과 도로가 조망경관 저해 요소로 작용하여 향후 원형경관을 회복하기 위해서는 수월루의 전면에 위치한 안산과 명당수로의 조망이 확보되어야 함을 파악할 수 있었다. 셋째, 식생경관 회복의 경우, 현재 경내를 중심으로 공간성격에 부합하지 않는 수종이 식재되어 있는 바, 식재수종과 위치 및 재식방법에 대해 문헌적 고증을 통한 복원 및 정비가 이루어져야함을 파악할 수 있었다. 넷째, 시설물의 경우 재료와 형태의 혼재 및 동선체계와 연계 없이 설치되어 있고, 안전시설의 경우 노후화되고 파손된 시설이 그대로 외부로 노출되어 적절한 정비가 요구 되는 바, 향후 서원의 경내 및 외부공간의 공공시설물의 디자인 지침 마련의 필요성을 파악할 수 있었다.

      • 금강유역 수질오염 실태조사

        조사 구역 상류 지점의 평균 수질은 pH가 7.1, DO가 8.3mg/ℓ, BOD가 1.7mg/ℓ, COD가 1.7mg/ℓ, SS가 15.4mg/ℓ, 분변성 대장균이 1.1x10³ MPN/100ml고 상수원 수 1급 내지 2급의 양호한 상태이고 하류지점의 수질은 pH가 6.8, DO가 7.7mg/ℓ, BOD가 2.2mg/ℓ, COD가 2.4mg/ℓ, 분변성 대장균이 1.7x10³MPN/100ml로 상수원 수 2급 내지 3급의 상태를 나타내 하류로 내려가면서 오염도가 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 청주시의 영향을 크게 받는 미호천 하류의 평균수질은 pH가 7.2, DO가 6.3mg/ℓ, BOD가 16.2mg/ℓ, COD가 15.1mg/ℓ, 분변성 대장균이 1.6x10??MPN/100ml로 심각한 오염 상태를 보여 청주시와 대전시가 금강 본류의 주 수질 오염원으로 나타났다. 영양 염류 (NH₃-N, NO₂-N, NO₃-N, PO₄-P)와 무기성 유해 성분 (Cl-, CN-, F-)의 함량은 지천의 일부 지점을 제외하고는 극히 낮은 수준으로 검출되었으며, 유기인, 페놀류, PCB 성분은 조사기간 중 전혀 검출되지 않았다. 또한 Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn, Cr, Pb, Cd, Hg등의 중금속은 검출되지 않거나 하천 수질 기준 또는 식용수 수질 기준의 허용치를 초과하지 않는 양호한 수준으로 나타났다.

      • DNA 수준에서 한국인 HLA-Class Ⅰ 대립유전자형 및 일배체형 분포 : the Molecular Basis

        The products of the human leukocyte antigen (HLA) have been detected by the serological or cellular methods. With the evailability of DNA sequences for alleles of the HLA system, and with the development of molecular biological techniques it has been possible to define the genotypes in HLA genes. And the amplification of DNA using sequence-specific primers has been proved as a reliable and rapid method for typing of HLA class II genes. We studied the distribution of the HLA-A, -B, C genotypes on 114 unrelated individuals by amplification refractory mutation system-polymerase chain reaction (ARMs-PCR). 13, 24 and 14 alleles in HLA-A, B and C genes were detected in normal Korean. The genotypes showing frequencies more than 18 percent were A*02(65.8%), A*24(02, 03) (41.2%), A*33(01, 02) (21.1%), A*11(01, 02) (20.2%), B*15(01, 02, 03, 04, 05)/B52(011, 012) (21.9%), B815(01, 04, 05, 06, 07, 12, 19, 20) (19.3%), B*40(02, 04, 05, 06) (18.4%), Cw*08(01, 02, 03) (28.9%), Cw*0303(27.2%), Cw*0304(26.3%) and Cw*01(01, 02) (24.6%). And most common 2-loci hyplotypes with frequencies larger than 0.04 were A*02-B*15(02, 08, 11, 15) (HF: 0.045), A*24(02, 03)-B*51(01, 02, 03, 04, 05)/*52(011, 012)(HF:0.044), B*51(01, 02, 03, 04, 05)/*52 (011, 012)-Cw14(01, 02) (HF: 0.069). These results suggest that the DNA typing of HLA class I may be an efficient typing method compared with the conventional method.

        This study was designed to exam the aged's needs for spiritual nursing care. The purpose was to serve as a basis for the development of spiritual nursing practice. The major findings are as follows : 1. The degree of needs for spiritual nursing care as area was that needs of love and relationship mean 22.0, needs of meaning and object mean 28.2, needs of forgiving mean 13.5. Total needs for spiritual nursing care mean 63.7, which was on the upper middle level. The needs of meaning and object was rated highest. 2. Among the general characteristics of the subjects, needs of love and relatiohship wasn't significanlty different. 3. Among the general characteristics of the subjects, needs of meaning and object was significantly different according to two factors : age(F=7.260, p=0.001), religion(F=5.275, p=0.001). Higher needs of meaning and object was possessed by the older than the younger, by the one who have religion than the other. 4. Among the general characteristics of the subjects, four factors made a significantly difference to needs of forgiving : sex(t=-2.851, p=0.006), age(F=8.201, p=0.001), religion(F=6.928, p=0.000), disease(t=2.327, p=0.024). Higher needs of forgiving was possessed by man than woman, by the older than the younger, by the one who have religion than the other, by the one who have disease than the other.
