The reduced graphene oxide (rGO)/activated carbon (AC) composites are coated on the aluminum substrate using spray coating technique to fabricate nanocarbon based supercapacitor. Polymer based solid-state xanthan-gum/Na<sub>2</sub>SO<sub>4</sub> electrolyte is also introduced to increase stability of the supercapacitor. The electrochemical properties of the supercapacitor are evaluated by using cyclic voltammetry (CV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and galvanostatic charge/ discharge tests. The highest capacitance value of the rGO/AC composite based supercapacitor is 120 F/g. The rGO/AC composite based supercapacitor is also retained ~85% of its initial capacitance value after application of the 3000 galvanostatic charge/discharge cycles.
도심봉제산업 재생을 위한 건축공간계획에 관한 연구 - 보이드 개념을 적용한 창신동 봉제산업단지 계획안

The purpose of this study is to propose an architectural design plan for the preservation and development of the sewing industry in Changsindong. For this purpose, this study proposed the effective connection of housing and industry and forming a community space as a shared space by applying the concept of void. The contents of the proposal proposed in this study are as follows. First, it provides a physical environment that can create a pleasant environment in Changsindong where the residence and sewing industry are mixed. Second, the proposed industrial complex increases the value of the sewing industry as urban industrial facilities and to maintain it. Third, the concept of void is applied to provide space for connecting the residence and the industry. The concept of void proposed in this study is not only to effectively connect spaces with different characteristics such as residence and industry, but also as a planning factor to form a shared space that generates community among people. 본 연구는 창신동을 중심으로 하는 봉제산업의 유지, 보전, 발전을 위한 새로운 형식의 공간구조를 제안하고자 하는 연구이다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 보이드의 개념을 적용하여 주거와 산업의 효과적인 연결과 공유공간으로서의 커뮤니티 공간 형성을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 계획안의 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창신동에서 나타나는 주거지와 봉제작업장의 혼재로 인한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 각각의 기능을 구분하여 경사지 특성을 갖는 대지에 수직적으로 계획한다. 둘째, 건축공간계획에 커뮤니티 공간으로서의 보이드 개념을 적용하여 공간의 내부 커뮤니티가 이루어질 수 있도록 한다. 셋째, 본 계획안의 보이드 공간은 각각의 시설을 구분하는 동시에 서로 다른 시설의 커뮤니티 공간의 역할을 할 수 있도록 한다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 창신동 봉제산업단지에 적용된 보이드의 개념은 주거와 산업이라는 두 가지 기능을 효과적으로 연결할 수 있는 공유공간의 기능적, 형태적 계획요소로서의 의미를 갖는다.
LPS가 처리된 RAW 264.7 대식세포에서 Nrf2/HO-1 경로 조절을 통한 매실 추출물의 NO 생성 억제 효과

Objectives : The fruit of Prunus mume Siebold & Zucc. has been used as an alternative medicine and functional food in Korea and Japan for preventive and therapeutic purposes. However, its molecular actions and mechanism on anti-inflammatory activity have not been clearly investigated. The aim of this study was to clarify the anti-inflammatory activity of the ethanol extract of P. mume fruit (EEPM) in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells, and sought to understand the associated molecular mechanisms. Methods : Cytotoxicity was assessed by an MTT assay. The amount of nitric oxide (NO) production was determined by nitrite assay. The mRNA expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) was analyzed by RT-PCR. In addition, expression levels of iNOS, nuclear factor-erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) and heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) protein were detected by Western blotting. Results : Our data indicated that EEPM inhibited NO production in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells in a concentration-dependent manner. At the mRNA and protein levels, EEPM suppressed LPS-induced iNOS expression. On the other hand, EEPM markedly enhanced HO-1 expression, which was associated with an induction and nuclear translocation of Nrf2. Moreover, the inhibitory effect of EEPM against LPS?induced NO production was significantly enhanced by hemin, a HO-1 inducer; however, EEPM's effect on the production of NO was abolished by zinc protoporphyrin IX, a HO-1 inhibitor. Conclusion : The results suggest that EEPM can act as a suppressor agent on NO production through an activation of Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathway, and may be a promising candidate for the treatment of inflammatory diseases.

Background: Papillary breast lesions (PBLs) comprise diverse entities from benign and atypical lesions to malignant tumors. Although PBLs are characterized by a papillary growth pattern, it is challenging to achieve high diagnostic accuracy and reproducibility. Thus, we investigated the diagnostic reproducibility of PBLs in core needle biopsy (CNB) specimens with World Health Organization (WHO) classification.Methods: Diagnostic reproducibility was assessed using interobserver variability (kappa value, κ) and agreement rate in the pathologic diagnosis of 60 PBL cases on CNB among 20 breast pathologists affiliated with 20 medical institutions in Korea. This analysis was performed using hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) staining and immunohistochemical (IHC) staining for cytokeratin 5 (CK5) and p63. The pathologic diagnosis of PBLs was based on WHO classification, which was used to establish simple classifications (4-tier, 3-tier, and 2-tier). Results: On WHO classification, H&E staining exhibited ‘fair agreement’ (κ = 0.21) with a 47.0% agreement rate. Simple classifications presented improvement in interobserver variability and agreement rate. IHC staining increased the kappa value and agreement rate in all the classifications. Despite IHC staining, the encapsulated/solid papillary carcinoma (EPC/SPC) subgroup (κ = 0.16) exhibited lower agreement compared to the non-EPC/SPC subgroup (κ = 0.35) with WHO classification, which was similar to the results of any other classification systems. Conclusions: Although the use of IHC staining for CK5 and p63 increased the diagnostic agreement of PBLs in CNB specimens, WHO classification exhibited a higher discordance rate compared to any other classifications. Therefore, this result warrants further intensive consensus studies to improve the diagnostic reproducibility of PBLs with WHO classification.
