        불소바니쉬가 법랑질 탈회에 미치는 영향

        이 연구의 목적은 법랑질 탈회부위에 불소 바니쉬 적용의 효과를 평가하는 것이다. 80개의 소의 법랑질 블록을 무작위로 4군으로 나누었다. 1군은 대조군으로 바니쉬 적용을 하지 않았다. 2군은 APF gel을 도포하고 4분후에 세척하였다. 3군과 4군은 Fluor Protector^(ⓡ)와 CavityShield™를 도포하고 1분 후에 세척하였다. 모든 표본을 인공우식용액 속에 넣어서 탈회시켰다. 가시광선 형광을 이용해 병소의 광밀도를 측정하고 병소의 깊이를 현미경으로 측정하고 통계적으로 비교하였다. 1. 48시간 후 광밀도 측정시 2군 광밀도는 대조군에 비해서 높았으나 바니쉬군보다 낮았고,두 가지 바니쉬 간에 유의한 차이는 없었다. 2. 72시간 후 광밀도 측정결과 3군에서만 약간의 광밀도 감소가 관찰되고,4군이 가장높았다. 3. 72시간의 탈회 후 병소의 깊이를 측정한 결과 대조군에서는 평균 205.36±42.85㎛, 2군에서 병소의 평균깊이는 21O.81±44.60㎛로 두 군간에 유의한 차이는 없었다. 4. 불소 바니쉬군의 병소 깊이는 3군이 80.03±21.66㎛, 4군이 77.46±27.72㎛로 대조군이나 2군에 비해 탈회가 억제되었음을 알 수 있었으나 두 가지 바니쉬 사이에 차이가 없었다. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of fluoride varnish application on enamel decalcification. Eighty bovine enamel blocks divided randomly into 4 groups. Group I is the control group. Group II was treated with the APF gel and washed after 4 minutes. Group III and IV was treated with Fluor Protector^(ⓡ) and CavityShield™ and washed after 1 minutes. Decalcification were created by placing all specimen into artificial acidic solution(pH4.0). Then the optical density of the lesions were measured by visible light fluorescence and the lesion depths were measured. The results were : 1. The optical density of group II was higher than group I but lower than group III, IV(p<0.05) and there was no difference between group III, IV(p>0.05) at 48 hours. 2. The optical density of group IV was highest at 72 hours(p<0.05). 3. Mean lesion depths were 205.36±42.85㎛ and 210.81±44.60㎛ in group I, II but no significant difference between two groups(p>0.05). 4. Mean lesion depths were 80.03±21.66㎛ and 77.46±27.72㎛ in group III, IV but no significant difference between two groups(p>0.05). Fluoride varnish treatment resulted in a significant reduction in lesion depth compared with APF gel. Fluor Protector^(?) and CavityShield™ provided the similar effect.

      • Ocular MALT Lymphoma : Report of Two Cases

        Lymphoma arising in mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue(MALT) is extranodal marginal zone lymphoma displaying a proliferation of follicle marginal zone-type cells(centrocyte-like cells or monocytoid B-cells), often with surrounding reactive germinal centers and lympoepithelial lesions. This typically expresses pan-B-cell markers and monotypic immunoglobulin but not CD5 or CD10. Ocular MALT consists of the lacrimal gland, lcular soft tissue, orbit, conjunctiva and cornea. Lymphoma arising in thses sites is of very rare occurrence in up to 1.5% of all patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Herein we report two cases of ocular MALT lymphoma which was very rare in the dermatologic field. Case 1, 73-year-old man, developed the right upper conjunctival swelling measuring about 2.0×2.5cm for about 1 year. Histologically, the excised lesion showed follicular centers and infiltration of centrocyte-like cells of B-cell lineage in the stroma but no lymphoepithelial lesions, consistent with low-grade B-cell lymphoma. Case 2, a 66-year-old female, had a rapid course of about 1.2×1.0cm-sized, soft, wellow mass arising from lacrimal gland of the right upper eyelid for about 1 month. Hostologically, the lesion showed diffuse patterend features admixed with centrocyte-like cells and large cells such as centroblast, compatible with high-grade lymphoma. Case 2 received combined chemotherapy of m-BACOD, with a somewhat improvement.

      • 새로운 상감도자기 기법을 이용한 특산품 개발

        새로운 상감도자기 기법을 이용한 특산품은 개발하기 위하여 지르코니아와 백토 및 황토계 소지에 대한 선 수축과 색의 변화를 조사하였다. 지르코니아계는 1350℃ 소결에서 23%정도의 선수축율을 나타내고 첨가량은 0.5wt% 이내가 적당하며, Co3O4는 청색, NiO는 녹색, Fe2O3는 갈색 그리고 Mn3O4는 검정색으로 변하였다. 백토계는 1250℃ 소결에서 13%정도의 선수축율을 나타내고 첨가량은 1wt%이내가 적당하며, NiO는 갈색, Co3O4는 녹색, TiO2는 아이보리색으로 변화 하였다. 황토계는 1250℃ 소결에서 12.5%정도의 선수축율을 나타내며, TiO2는 노란색, 그리고 복합첨가의 경우 검정색으로 변화하였다. 첨가된 전이금속산화물은 제2상의 화합물을 형성하여 분산되어 존재함으로써 발색시키는 것으로 판단된다. 상감도자기 시작품은 색채가 우아하고 질감이 좋아 특산품으로 활용가능성이 매우 높은 것으로 판단된다. Variation of sintered color and linear shrinkage in zirconia, white clay and yellow clay systems have been investigated with various transition metal oxide additives to develop special products using new inlaid porcelain method. Zirconia systems sintered at 1350℃ show 23% of linear shrinkages and their additives are suitable to add up to 0.5wt%, and the color of their specimens changes from white to blue for Co3O4, green for NiO, brown for Fe2O3 and black for Mn3O4, respectively. White clay systems sintered at 1250℃ appear about 13% of linear shrinkages and their additives are suitable to add up to 1wt%, and the color of their specimens changes form white to brown for NiO, to blue for Co3O4, green for Cr2O3 and ivory for TiO2, repedtively. Yellow clay systems sintered at 1250℃ show about 12.5% of linear shrinkages and the color of their specimens changes from red to yellow for TiO2 and black for complex compounds, respectively. It could be explained due to the formation of the second phase compounds by added transition metal oxides with basic composition and the dispersion of their second phase particles in sintered bodies.

      • LiNb_3O_8의 고주파 유전특성

        Recently many Microwave devices have been newly developed as the demands for mobile communication and satellite broadcasting have been increased. Microwave dielectrics can be use in dielectric resonator, duplexer filter, VCO, GPS antenna and so on. The dielectric properties required for such application are high dielectric constant(ε_r), high Q value and low temperature coefficient of resonant frequency(τ_f). These requirement correspond to necessities for size reduction, excellent frequency selectivity, good temperature stability of devices. This study was focussed on the improvement and understanding for low-temperature sinterbility and microwave dielectric properties in LiNb_3O_8 compositions. The main topics of this study was the relationship between sinter behavior and microwave dielectric properties on LiNb_3O_8 system. As a result, the dielectric constant and Q×f_0 increased linearly with increase in the sinter density. The dielectric constant is about 34 and the Q×f_0 at a microwave frequencies is over 58000.

        저체중 또는 과체중 청소년에서 캠프 프로그램을 이용한 영양 교육효과에 관한 연구

        This study was performed to evaluate the effectiveness of a nutrition education program developed for nutritionally imbalanced adolescents. A summer nutrition camp was held for 23 overweight and 16 underweight subjects. Its effectiveness with regard to was evaluated at the end of the camp and 6 months later. Nutrition knowledge, nutritional attitude, food behavior, nutrient intake, exercise habit and ideal body figures desired by the subjects. The results showed significantly higher nutrition knowledge scores at the end of the camp as compared to those obtained prior to the camp program, and these scores were maintained for at least six months. Nutrition attitude scores also improved after the education program, and these improved scores also lasted for 6 months. However, the food behavior scores measured 6 months after the education program were not significantly different from those obtained prior to the camp. Also, the exercise habit, the ideal body figures and the body figures desired by the subjects remained unchanged. When nutrient intakes of subjects were assessed before the program and 6 months later, the mean daily vitamin C intake was significantly increased after the education program. Also, the intake of iron from plant food sources increased in the overweight subjects, while less iron from animal source were consumed by the underweight subjects. Both groups tended to consume more vegetables and fruits 6 months after the education program which may have contribute to the higher vitamin C and plant-based iron intakes. These results indicate that a 4-day nutrition education camp program sustained changes in nutrition knowledge and nutrition attitude for 6 months. The increased intake of vegetables and fruits was also achieved through this education program. However, changes in dietary behavior in adolescents may require repeated education.

      • 용융염 합성법에 의한 strontium barium niobate의 분말제도 및 소결성

        NaCl-KCl 용융염 합성법에 의해 strontium barium niobate분말을 제조하여 합성온도에 따라 그 특성을 열분석, X-선 회절분석, 전자현미경 관찰, 선수축율 및 유전상수 측정을 통하여 조사하였다. 용융염 합성법에 의하면 650℃ 부터 pyrochrole상이 적은 strontium barium niobate분말의 제조가 가능하며 분말의 형상은 침상이다. 또한, 합성온도가 올라감에 따라 입자성장이 일어나 선수축율은 감소하는 반면 이방성이 증가하여 유전상수는 증가 하였다. Strontium barium niobate powders were prepared by NaCl-KCl molten salt synthesis method and their characteristics were evaluated by thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction analysis, SEM observation, and measurements of linear shrinkage and dielectric constant as a function of synthesis temperatures. The needle like strontiun barium niobate powders having low content pyrochrole phase could be prepared at 650℃ by the molten salt synthesis method. As the synthesis temperature increased, the linear shinkage decreased due to the growth of particles but the dielectric constant increased by the increase of anisotropic.
