Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) is a group of idiopathic disorders characterized by the proliferation of specialized bone marrow derived Langerhans cells and mature eosinophils. LCH is a disease that primarily affects bone but can be associated with a clinical spectrum that ranges from a solitary bone lesion with a favorable natural history to a multisystem, life-threatening disease process. Bone involvement with or without other associated sites is the most common manifestation of LCH and has been observed in 80-100% of cases. Despite the preference for bone, the disease may demonstrate extraosseous manifestations as well. While uncommon, this may complicate the clinical picture, occurring most commonly in infants and children with multisystem disease. Although the described triad of diabetes insipidus, exophthalmos, and eosinophilic granuloma does occur occasionally in children, multisystem disease may present in a variety of ways and may be life threatening. The microscopic examination is critical for the diagnosis. Immunohistochemistry using CD1a is now used routinely as a diagnostic tool. Although a positive CD1a immunohistochemical stain in the setting of appropriate histology is usually considered adequate for diagnosis, demonstrating Birbeck granules in the abnormally proliferating Langerhans cells using electron microscopy (EM) is the most specific diagnostic test. The etiology and pathogenesis of LCH has remained an enigma despite of continuous research. We report a case of eosinophilic granuloma of the mandible in 12 year-old female with literature review.

In this work, the properties of FRP, which is applied recently in the composite insulating materials, by thermal treatment were investigated. The specimens were epoxy glass laminates fabricated by thermal press method and had the volume content of 46[%] cutted $45^{\circ}C$ in the fiber direction and 1.0[mm] thickness. The experimental results showed that the amount of weight loss, wettability, surface potential, and surface resistivity increased up to 200[$^{\circ}C$] as a function of temperature. Usually, most degradations caused the hydrophilic to decrease the contact angle. But, in this work on thermal-degradated FRP, we can confirm the introduction of hydrophobic properties by cross-linking and the ablation of polar small-molecules rather than chain scission and oxidation. Finally, weight loss and contact angle increased. These phenomena show the existence of hydrophobic surface. With the change to the hydrophobic surface and the electrical potential and resistivity on FRP surface increased. But, the dielectric properties and tensile stength are decreased.

이상과 같이 자가골 이식을 할 때 주의하여야 할 점들을 다루어 보았다. 중요한 것은 어떤 재료를 선택하는 것이 좋은 지가 아니라, 언제 어느 재료로 무슨 방법으로 이식할 것인 지를 결정하는 것이 중요하다. 골이식 수술중에 중요하게 지켜야 할 술기는 피판의 형성과 이식골의 철저한 고정이며 이것이 지켜졌을 때 최대의 효과를 기대할 수 있으며 후유증이나 합병증을 막을 수 있다. 또한 골이식과 같은 민감한 수술은 모든 조직을 보다 부드럽게 다루어야 한다. 피판을 형성하거나 젖힐 때에도 함부로 당기거나 하여 피판이 찢어지거나 손상 받지 않게 하여야 한다. 살아있는 조직을 채취하여 옮기는 이식수술에서 또 하나의 중요한 술기는 수술시간을 단축하는 것이다. 수술의 준비와 기구의 준비를 철저히 하여 총 수술시간을 줄이도록 노력하여야 하며 최소한 이식골을 채취하여 부착하기 까지의 시간은 최소로 줄여야 한다. 골이식 수술에서 무조건 성공하는 특별한 방법은 없다. 위와 같은 여러 가지 주의사항에 유념하고 술기를 발전시켜 좋은 결과를 얻도록 노력하여야 한다.

This paper investigates and compares the architectural standard specifications between Korea(KASS) and China(CASS), especially focused on quality control, in order to help construction engineer understand the both regulations. According to results, in case of KASS, specimens for compressive strength test is cylindrical type with 2 times of diameter to height. Quality inspection is regulated to be performed 1 times per 150㎥ of concrete. However, in case of CASS, cubic type specimens with 150㎜ of length is used. Quality inspection is regulated to be performed 1 times every 100th batch at least 100㎥.
