Objectives : The aim of this study was to examine the behavioral and emotional problems associated with nocturnal enuresis in Korean children. Methods : Three hundred eighteen children with nocturnal enuresis, together with their parents, completed the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), Disruptive Behavior Disorder Scale according to DSM-IV (DBDS), Children's Depression Inventory (CDI), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children (STAIC), and Piers-Harris Children's Self-Concept Scale (PHCSC). Ninety-three normal students were selected as the control group. Results : Compared to the normal control group, the mean scores with regard to the withdrawn, social problems, attention problems, delinquent behavior, aggressive behavior, externalizing problems and total problems profiles were significantly higher in the nocturnal enuresis group according to the CBCL results. The nocturnal enuresis group also scored significantly higher in the ADHD and ODD profiles of the DBDS. The nocturnal enuresis group was more depressed and anxious than the control group according to the results of the CDI and STAI. The mean score of the PHCSC was significantly lower in the nocturnal enuresis group when compared to the normal control group. Conclusion : The results of this study suggest that children with nocturnal enuresis in Korea have clinically relevant behavioral and emotional problems. The findings support the link between nocturnal enuresis and psychopathology in Korean children.

현재까지 개발되고 있는 대부분의 유한체적모형은 가상하도 및 실험하도와 같은 단순하도에 적용하여 흐름율과 생성항의 균형문제를 해결하기 위한 여러 가지 노력들이 있어 왔다. 하지만, 실제 자연하천에서의 적용에서는 단순하도에서의 적용에서 나타나지 않았던 여러 가지 문제점들이 발생하며, 이러한 문제점들을 수치적으로 해결하여야 비로소 자연하천에서의 적용이 가능하다. 본 연구에서는 자연하천에 적용가능한 2차원 유한체적모형을 개발하여 2차원 부분적 댐 붕괴에 적용하여 개발모형의 정확성을 검증하고, 한강의 측량단면을 GIS를 이용하여 2차원 격자에 정확하게 반영할 수 있는 간단하고 효율적인 2차원 격자생성기법을 제안하였다. 그리고 제안된 기법으로 생성된 2차원 격자로 한강에 대한 흐름모의를 수행하고 계산수위와 실측수위를 비교하여 자연하천에 대한 개발모형의 정확성 및 적용성을 입증하였다. A lot of efforts have been made to resolve balancing problems between flux and source term and most finite volume models under development have been applied to simple channels such as imaginary and experimental channels. However, a number of numerical problems which can not be found in simple channels occur in the application to natural rivers and the problems should be resolved to apply finite volume models to natural rivers. In this study, 2D finite volume model which is applicable to natural rivers was developed and the accuracy of the developed model was validated through the application of partial dam break In addition, a simple and efficient 2D mesh generation method was suggested and the method can be accurately reflected to 2D mesh converted from surveyed cross sections in Han-river using GIS. The accuracy and applicability of the developed model on natural rivers were verified by performing simulation on Han-river using the generated mesh and comparing computed water elevation with measured water elevation.

치과용 도구세척을 위한 화학용액을 개발하기 위하여, 상용 치과재료용 화학용액의 주성분을 바탕으로 분해성능에 영향을 미치는 성분, 조성, 조건에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 분해성능은 온도가 높을수록, 초음파의 세기가 클수록 향상되었다. 화학용액에 첨가된 계면활성제는 분해를 촉진시켰으며 계면활성제의 종류에 따라 부내성능에 큰 차이를 보였다. 알콜류는 분해성능을 저하시키는 나타났으며 시멘트류는 NaOHtndyddor에, 석고류는 sodium bicarbonate 수용액에서 뛰어난 분해성능을 보였다. Chemical solutions were prepared and the effects of chemical composition of decomposition ability of cleaning solution for dental instruments were studied. With high temperature and ultrasonic intensity, decomposition ability of cleaning solution were improved. Certain surfactants(Miwon Commercial Co. Ltd) such as amine oxides and alkanol amides accelerated decomposition rate of cleaning solution. Alcohols added to solution made worse the decomposition capability of cleaning solution. Dental cements and gypsums were well decomposed in sodium hydroxide aqueous solution and sodium bicarbonate aqueous solution respectively.

Objectives : We evaluated the efficacy of ramosetron and ondansetron for preventing postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) in laparoscopic colectomy. Methods and Materials : Eighty patients who received laparoscopic colectomy were randomly divided into two groups: R group (ramosetron 0.1mg PO) and O group (ondansetron 4mg twice IV). Injection or oral medication was administered before the induction of anesthesia in each group. Injection was administered at the end of surgery in O group. General anesthesia was induced using propofol and rocuronium, and maintained with sevoflurane, remifentanil and air (FiO2 0.5), We investigated the incidences of PONV in each group by the Rhodes index of nausea, vomiting and retching (RINVR) at postoperative 6 and 24 hours. Results : The incidence of PONV was not different between group at each time points after surgery (at postoperative 6 hours: 20% in group R, 17.5% in group 0, at postoperative 24 hours; 12.5% in group R, 7.5% in group 0). There was no difference in the severity of PONV, satisfaction, rescue drug usage. Conclusion : Prophylactic therapy with ramosetron is as effective as conventional prophylactic therapy with ondansetron for preventing PONV in general anesthesia for laparoscopic colectomy.

This paper describes the use of the finite element analysis in the development of a two-dimensional(in plan) hydrodynamic simulation model that solves the Saint-Venant equation. A finite element model consists of pre-processing, analysis processing and post-processing. The model has been tested with tow dimensional problems, including surge flow, flow through abrupt contraction and outfall flow. The finite element model shows a stable and efficient results for various situations. The model will provide a good contribution to the numerical analysis of two dimensional Saint-Venant equation.

A survey of physical properties using CTD castings was carried out at 5 sections in South East Sea in October 1991. Tsushima Warm Current branches at Gampo sections and main flows turn to the left. Eddy-like flow pattern could be found in the distribution of density at Gampo and Pohang sections where the branching occurs. Cold waters were found near the coast at about 50m where sharp thermocline is formed.

In this paper, a fuzzy logic controller is designed for speed control of a hydraulic inverter elevator. Mathematical modeling of an elevator actuated with hydraulic system is presented and the friction characteristics of a cylinder is examined, which may cause the abrupt increase of the acceleration in the zero-crossing speed region. Simulation results show that the proposed fuzzy logic speed controller yields a better control performance than conventional PID controller.
Bi₂O₃-MO₃ 2元系 酸化物에 依한 몰리브덴酸비스무트의 生成機構에 關한 硏究(第2報)

In the Bi₂O₃-MoO₂ binary system oxide the following compounds were indentified: (1) Bi₂O₃ㆍMoO₃=Bi₂MoO?=(BiO)₂MoO₄ (2) 2Bi₂O₃ㆍMoO₃= Bi₄MoO? These compounds were found by investigation of the phase diagram of the Bi₂O₃-MoO₃ binary system by means of D.T.A.(Diffrerntial Thermal Analysis). X-ray diffraction analytical studies of sintered mixtures in this system confirmed the existence of the two compounds. A compound Bi₂O₃ㆍ2MoO₃ could be detected.
