        유년기 안구적출술 및 방사선치료로 인하여 발생된 안와 열성장에 대한 재건 치험례

        There are many reports of the surgical management for the craniofacial abnormalities arising from the irradiation of the head and face for treatment of childhood cancers. Since the mordern combined-modality theraphy for childhood cancers began in the late 1960s and the early 1970s, recent reports have described the occular, dental and maxillo-facial abnormalities after irradiation in long-term survivors of cancers of the head and face. The resultant deformities may be known to be difficult to reconstruct with surgical techniques. This paper describes the late reconstructive surgery for the unilateral orbital and malar hypoplasia after eyeball enucleation and irradiation during childhood to correct the facial asymmetry and expand the contracted orbital socket into the functional dimension for the retaining eyeball prosthesis with spherical implant. We reports the satisfactory preliminary results from the midfacial osteotomy through the supero-lateral orbital rim and malar bone and the antero-lateral repositioning with the autogenous bone grafting in 26 year-old female patient who will be planned to make the new eyeball prosthesis by the department of ophthalmology.

      • Harvold activator의 효과에 관한 임상적 고찰

        저자는 기능적 장애요인이 있는 상악 전치부 돌출을 주소로 내원한 환자 2명을 Harvold activator 로 치료하였다. 치료전후 두부방사 선규격사진을 분석 검토한 결과를 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있었다. 1. 하악골 전방성장 촉진으로 ∠ANB 의 감소가 있었다. 2. 상하악 제 1 대구치의 전방이동 및 정출이 있었으며 특히 하악에서 현저함을 보여 구치관계 개선에 도움이 되었다. 3. 상악전치는 설측경사 및 후방이동이 약간 있었다. 4. 하악전치는 전방이동은 많았지만 경사도는 거의 변화하지 않았다. The authors treated two patients by Harvold activator who chiefly complained the maxillary anterior protrusion. Analyzing the lateral cephalometric radiograph before and after treatment, the authors obtained following results. 1. Because of mandibular forward growth acceleration, ANB angle decreased. 2. Because of mesial movement and extrusion of upper and lower 1st molar especially lower 1st molar, molar relationship was improved 3. There were a certain degree of lingual tipping and backward movement of upper incisors. 4. Although there was a lot of forward movement of lower incisors, there was little change in tipping of lower incisors.

        지속적 및 간헐적 가압력이 치주인대 배양세포의 Alkaline Phosphatase 활성도에 미치는 영향

        지속적 및 간헐적인 가압력이 배양치주인대 세포의 ALP활성도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 치주인대세포를 24 well 배양접시에 배양한 후 밀생상태가 되었을 때, 세포배양기 속의 특수제작된 사각상자에 배양접시를 넣은 후 실험기간동안 300g/㎠의 압력을 10분간 가압시킨 후 10분간 가압이 중지되도록 한 간헐적 가압군, 그리고 압력을 가하지 않은 군을 대조군으로 하여 각각 실험 24시간, 72시간 후의 alkaline phosphatase의 활성도를 측정하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 가압 24시간 군에서는 간헐적 가압군이 대조군에 비하여 ALP활성도가 낮게 나타났다(p>0.05). 2. 가압 48시간 군에서는 실험군은 대조군에 비하여 ALP활성도에 유의한 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 3. 가압 72시간 군에서는 지속적 가압군이 대조군에 비하여 ALP활성도가 높게 나타났다(p>0.01). The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of cellular activity on PDL cells dependent on intermittent and continuous compressive force by determining the alkaline phosphatase activity. An intermittent and continuous compressive force were applied on PDL cells at the confluent stage. The alkaline phosphatase activity was measured on control and experimental groups every 24, 48, 72hours. The experimental group were consist of continuous and intermittent compressive group which were compressed by 300g/㎠ of diaphram pump. The intermittent compressive group was connected by timer which was worked on 10 minutes and off 10minutes. The results were as follows; 1. The alkaline Phosphatase activity of intermittent compressive group was lower than control at 24 hours(p>0.05). 2. The alkaline Phosphatase activity between each groups showed no significant differences at 48hours. 3. The alkaline Phosphatase activity of continuous compressive group was significantly higher than control group at 72 hours(p>0.01).

      • 개에서 결직장 연접부의 림프종 1례

        A five years old female Shih-tzu was referred to the veterinary medical teaching hospital at Chungnam national university with soft bloody diarrhea and tenesmus. On rectal palpation, solid mass was palpated in colorectal region. In radiographs, small intestine was deviated cranially, descending colon and rectal junction were deviated caudoventrally in lateral projection of the abdomen. In ultrasonographs, hypoechoic nodulation of mesenteric lymph node in colorectal junction, mixed echoic thickening of colorectal wall and irregular margination were observed. Rectal endoscopy revealed that colorectal men was partially obstructed due to compression of the mass. Also, severe ulceration, inflammation and hemorrhage were also observed in descending colon. The mass was resected through the laparotomy. In histopathology, it was diagnosis of lymphoma in the colorectal junction.

        초등 신임교사의 직무역량 요구도 분석

        The purpose of this research was to analyze the needs assessment of beginning teacher’s job competence in elementary schools. For this purpose, an on-line questionnaire was created and sent to 14,398 teachers in 17 Local Education Provinces. The questionnaire composed of 10 areas related to job skills of beginning teachers. The result of survey indicated that the priority of job competencies required for beginning teachers are ‘student guidance and counseling’ and ‘conjunction with parents and the community’. For future the competence of elementary school teachers, ‘the actual problem solving skills’, ‘relationship skills’, ‘communication skills’, ‘patience’, and ‘conflict management skills’ appeared to be needed. Furthermore, programs to enhance job competences in the future should involve ‘mentoring’ and ‘school based peer supervision’. This research concludes with these practical suggestions; First, on-the-job training needs to be strengthened to develop the expertise of beginning teachers. Second, in order to improve the job competence of new teachers in newly appointed elementary teachers, a training program to identify the needs new teachers needs to be developed. Third, the teachers’ appointment and rotation policy are needed to be reconsidered.

      • 置換 Trifluoroacetanilide類의 加水分解에 대한 Triamine-copper(Ⅱ)-imidazolate 錯和合物의 觸媒 效果

        Triamine이 tridentate ligand를 형성하는 triamine-copper(Ⅱ)-imidazolate complex와 triamine-copper(Ⅱ)-benzimidazolate complex를 합성하여 imidazole과 이 complex들의 촉매작용을 치환 trifluoroacetanilide의 가수분해에 대하여 UV spectrophotometric method로 조사하였다. p-Nitro-2,2,2-trifluoroacetanilide의 가수분해 반응속도는 pH 7, 8에서는 완만히 증가하다가 pH 9, 10에 이르러 급격히 증가하였고 다시 pH 11, 12에서는 서서히 증가하였다. 이때 triamine-copper(Ⅱ)-imidazolate complex는 pH 7∼9에서는 imidazole보다 촉매효과가 더 컸고, pH 10∼12에서는 imidazole보다 작은 촉매효과를 나타내었다. 또한 촉매의 농도가 커질수록 기질의 가수분해 반응속도값은 증가하였으나triamine-copper(Ⅱ)-benzimidazolate의 경우에는 농도가 커질수록 오히려 반응속도가 감소했다. 치환기와 반응속도 사이에는 Hammett rule이 잘 적용되었고 전자끄는 치환기에 의해 반응이 촉진되었다. p-Nitro-2, 2, 2-trifluoroacetanilide의 이들 촉매에 의한 가수분해 반응에서 solvent deuterium kinetic isotope effect(??/??)는 pH 7에서는 2.25∼2.27, pH 10에서는 1.44로서 중성 수용액 내에서는 general basecatalysis path로, 그리고 염기성 수용액 내에서는 nucleophilic catalysis로 진행하는 것을 알 수 있었다. Triamine-copper(Ⅱ)-imidazolate complex(C₂C₂CuIm) and triamine-copper(Ⅱ)-benzimidazolate complex(C₂C₂CuBzIm in which triamine serves as a tridentate ligand were synthesized. The catalytic actions of these complexres, comparing with imidazole, for the hydrolysis of substituted trifluoroacetanilide were observed by a UV spectrophotometric method. The rate of hydrolysis of p-nitro-2, 2, 2-trifluoroacetanilide(p-NO₂-TFA) was increased rapidly at pH 9 and 10 but slowly at pH 11 and 12. At pH 7∼9 the catalytic effect C₂C₂CuIm was larger than that of imidazole itself, however the effect of C₂C₂CuIm was smaller than that of imidazole at pH 10∼12. And hydrolysis rate of p-NO₂-TFA was increased with increasing concentration of catalysis, but in case of C₂C₂CuIm, hydrolysis rate of p-NO₂-TFA was decreased with increasing catalyst concentraration. The tate of hydrolysis was enhanced by electron-withdrawing substituents obeying well the Hammett rule. In the hydrolysis of p-NO₂-TFA with these catalysts, solvent deuterium kinetic isotope effect(??/??) was found to be 2.25∼2.27 at pH 7 and 1.44 at pH 10 suggesting that the catalytic hydrolysis proceeds by a general base catalysis path at a neutral teaction medium(pH 7) and proceeds by a mucleophilic catalysis path at an alkaline reaction medium(pH 10).

      • 소의 심장 cytochrome c oxidase의 전자전달 특성

        Cytochrome c oxidase (complex Ⅳ) was isolated from bovine heart mitochondrion. The spectra of isolated cytochrome c oxidase which was considered to be oxidized showed absorption bands at 598nm and 421nm in the oxidized form and at 604nm and 443nm in the reduced form. The activity of cytochrome c oxidase measured by the redox system of ferrocytochrome c-oxygen was not affected by NH₄OH and ethylenediamine. It was, however, found that 2-mercaptoethanol and potassium cyanide inhibited its reactivity respectively.

      • 電算化 斷層撮影像에 關한 畵像 再構成法의 數理學的 考察

        The basic principle behind computed tomography is that the internal structure of an object can be reconstructed from multiple projections of the object. The mathematical methods is to produce an accruate cross-sectional display of the linear attenuation coeffidients of each element in the image matrix. This mathematical methods of image reconstruction are described : 1. Back-projection (Sumation method) 2. Iterative methods(Algebraic reconstruction tehnique) 3. Analytical methods (Fourier transformation) We will only attempt a pictorial explanation of the two popular analytic methods, which are two - dimensional fourier analysis and filtered back projection. The basic of fourier analysis is that any function of time or space can be represented by the sum of various projection data. This type of mathematical manipulation is easily and quickly processed in a computer. The reconstruction is a little more complex for a two-dimensional image such as a CT, but the basic principle is the same.
