        전도성 고분자 센서 어레이를 이용한 휘발성 유기 화합물 가스 인식

        휘발성 유기 화합물 가스(Volatile Organic Compounds)를 인식하고 분석하기 위하여 전도성 고분자 센서어레이를 이용한 시스템을 제작하였다. Polypyrrole와 Polyaniline을 화학중합법으로 센서에 전도성고분자막을 형성하였고 이를 통해 VOC 검지용 센서 어레이를 제작하였다. 센서어레이로부터 측정되는 다차원 데이터는 주성분분석법(PCA)과 RBF(Radial Basis Function Network)을 이용하였다. 제안된 시스템으로 VOCs 가스를 인식하는데 있어서 RBF Network이 PCA방식보다 더욱 효율적인 것으로 판단되었다. We fabricated gas recognition system using conducting polymer sensor array for recognizing and analyzing VOCs(Volatile Organic Compounds) gases. The polypyrrole and polyaniline thin film sensors which were made by chemical polymerization were employed to detect VOCs. The multi-dimensional sensor signals obtained from the sensor array were analyzed using PCA(principal component analysis) technique and RBF(radial basis function) Network. Throughout the experimental trails, we confirmed that RBF Network is effective than PCA technique in identifying VOCs.

        추황배(Pyrus pyrifolia Nakai cv. Chuhwangbae) 과피로부터 1종의 Sterol과 3종의 배당체 화합물의 단리·동정

        본 연구에서는 배의 유용성 증명을 위한 일환으로 배의 화학성분을 분자수준에서 밝히고자 하였다. 이에 배 과피 MeOH 추출물을 용매분획하여 얻은 EtOAc-산성 분획과 EtOAc-중성분획을 대상으로 Sephadex LH-20, silica gel, 그리고 ODS colmn chromatography와 HPLC를 이용하여 정제 및 단리하였다. 그 결과, EtOAc-산성 분획과 EtOAc-중성 분획으로부터 각각 2종씩의 화합물을 단리하였다. 단리된 화합물 1-4는 1H- 및 13C-NMR 분석을 통하여 각각 (S)-(+)-2-cis-abscisic acid O-β-D-glucopyranosyl ester (화합물 1), 1-[4-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl]phenyl ethanone(piceoside, 화합물 2), β-sitosterol (화합물 3), 그리고 β-sitosteryl 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (화합물 4)로 동정되었다. 단리된 3종의 배당체 화합물(화합물 1, 2, 4)들은 본 연구에 의해 배로부터 처음 동정되었으며, 화합물 3은 추황배로부터 처음 동정되었다. 본 연구결과가 배 함유 성분연구는 물론 배의 기능성 해명 연구에도 추후 중요한 기초자료로 활용되길 기대한다. We isolated and identified antioxidants from acidic and neutral ethyl acetate fractions of the peel of pear (Pyrus pyrifolia N. cv. Chuhwangbae). We isolated 4 compounds from the methanol extract, by using 3 different types of column chromatography (Sephadex LH-20, silica gel, and octadecylsilane) and preparative HPLC. We identified the isolated compounds as (S)-(+)-2-cis-abscisic acid O-β-D-glucopyranosyl ester (compound 1), 1-[4-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl]phenyl ethanone (picroside, compound 2), β-sitosterol (compound 3), and β-sitosteryl 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (compound 4) by nuclear magnetic resonance analysis. We are the first to report the identification of compounds 1, 2, and 4 from pear.

        림프종 환자에서의 갈륨, TI-201 그리고 Tc-99m MIBI 섭취의 비교

        Purpose; Ga-67 scintigraphy has been used for the evaluation of tumors, especially lymphoma. Recently, Tl-201 and Tc-99m MIBI were also used to tumor imaging. Tl-201 and Tc-99m MIBI had better physiologic characteristics than Ga-67, so we studied 32 biopsy proven lymphoma patients (male 24, female 8, mean age 46 years) with Ga-67, Tl-201 or Tc-99m MIBI and compared the scan findings. Materials and Methods: Twenty-three of 32 patients were injected 74-111 MBq (2-3 mCi) of Tl-201, before chemotherapy and imaged with dual-headed SPECT (Prism 2000, Picker, USA) at 30 minutes after injection. Delayed images were obtained after 3 hr in 8 patients. Twenty seven of 32 patients were injected 740 MBq (20 mCi) of Tc-99m MIBI and imaged at 30 minutes after injection. 111-185 MBq (3-5 mCi) of Ga-67 was injected in 12 patients and imaged at 48 and 72 hours after injection. Twenty eight patients were diagnosed as non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and others were Hodgkin's lymphoma. Results: Twenty patients were positive on Tl-201 scan and 3 patients showed negative findings. One of these 3 patients, Tc-99m MIBI and Ga-67 scan were positive. Twenty two patients were positive on Tc-99m MIBI scan and 5 patients showed negative findings. One of these 5 patients, Tl-201 was positive and 2 were positive on Ga-67 scan. Ten of 12 patients showed positive findings on Ga-67 scan. The sensitivity of these agents were 83.3%, 87.0% and 81.5% for Ga-67, Tl-201 and Tc-99m MIBI, respectively. The sensitivity was highest in Tl-201 scan, but there were no significant differences among three tests. In this study, there was no significant difference of uptake ratios between early and delayed images of Tl-201. Conclusion: Scintigraphy with Tl-201 and Tc-99m MIBI in lymphoma patients have similar sensitivity with Ga-67.

        TiC-Al₂O₃ system powders were prepared by the self-propagating high temperature synthesis method from the mixture of metal titanium, carbon and alumina powder, Powder and sintering characterization of TiC-Al₂O₃ system were investigated. TiC-15wt% Al₂O₃ compacts sintered by hoy-pressing under the pressure of 20MPa at 1850 for 90 minutes showed 3-point bending strength of 724Mpa, ?? of ??????, hardness of 2450㎏/㎟ and relative density of 97%. The combustion mode of combustion wave showed steady-state up to 15wt% Al₂O₃, spin above 20wt% Al₂O₃ also combustion velocity was decreased with increasing of Al₂O₃ contents.

        Objectives : Acupuncture is expected to have somewhat like the efficacy parallel increasing activity of immune system in Western modern medicine. There, already, are many animal researches on activating effect of acupuncture for the immune system in peripheral organs. So, we carried out this experiment to see whether acupuncture has controlling effect on interleukin-6(IL-6) activity in rat's brain. Methods and Results : We had topical application of IL-6(1U-1pg, 10㎕) on brain of rat. It reduced afferent sensory transmission to the primary somatosensory(SI) cortex from periphery. Whereas, electrical stimulation(ES, 2Hz, 1.5V, 15min) of ST36(足三里) with application of IL-6 prominently activated afferent sensory transmission. ES of non-acupoint(proximal tail) with IL-6 showed suppression of afferent transmission. ES of ST36 without IL-6 application also exerted facilitation of afferent transmission to the SI cortex. Conclusions : Electoacupuncture(EA) on ST36 has noticeable influences on modulating activation of IL-6 in central nervous system, which do major role in immune system.

        부가적 산부식 시간에 따른 자가 산부식 접착제의 법랑질 전단결합강도

        이 연구의 목적은 유치와 영구치의 법랑질에 자가 산부식 접착제 적용 전 부가적인 산부식 시간을 달리 하였을 때, 전단결합강도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위함이다. 각각 65개의 발거된 건전한 유치와 영구치 협, 설면 법랑질 시편을 제작하고 두 종류의 자가 산부식 접착제를 적용하였다. 실험군은 Clearfil SE bond, Adper Prompt L-pop으로 처리한 두 개 군으로 나누고, 이를 다시 산부식 시간에 따라 여섯 군(0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30초)으로 분류하였다. 대조군으로는 total-etching system인 Multi-purpose plus를 사용하였다. 접착제 처리면을 복합레진으로 충전하고 24시간 경과 후 전단결합강도를 측정하고 Mann-Whitney test와 Kruskal-Wallis test를 사용하여 통계분석 하였다. 결과는 자가 산부식 접착제를 적용한 군은 유치, 영구치 모두에서 total etching system에 비해 낮은 전단 결합강도를 보였다. 자가 산부식 접착제 사용 군내에서 산부식을 추가로 시행하였을 때 유치와 영구치 모두에서 결합강도가 증가하였으며, 10초 이상 산부식을 시행한 경우 결합력의 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 유치와 영구치간 결합력의 차이는 인정되지 않았다. 결론적으로, 자가 산부식 접착제의 법랑질에 대한 전단결합강도는 유치, 영구치 모두에서 10초 이상의 부가적 산부식이 결합력의 증가에 유리하게 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. The aim of this study was to evaluate the bonding ability of two self etch systems to human primary and permanent enamel and the effect of additional acid etching time. Exfoliated, caries free human primary molar(n=65) and permanent molar extracted (n=65) were used. prepared enamel specimens were randomly divided into 2 test groups and a control group. The control group(n=10) were treated with 35% phosphoric acid gel and Scotchbond Multi-purpose adhesive. Experimental groups(self-etching systems) were subdivided into 6 groups(each n=10) according to additional etching time(0s, 5s, 10s, 15s, 20s, 30s). The result were as follows : 1) The shear bond strengths of the self-etching adhesives(Clearfil SE Bond, Adper Prompt L-pop) without additional etching were lower than control group(Scotch Bond Multipurpose). 2) Between the same self-etch adhesive groups, additional etched groups showed higher shear bond strength 3) There was no significant difference between primary and permanent enamel. In conclusion, bond strength of self-etch adhesives to enamel could be increased with additional etching.

        사진에 있어서 인식의 문제

        To transmit his own emotion to the other person, mankind uses various tools to express and reproduct the image. Generally, the message means the mental content of the writer he intends to transmit to the receiver. The message consists with the transmitting source, receiver and the transmitting channel connecting both and the message can be said the expression which connects the intended to show his inner world and the one who sees the inner world and the procedure means that the communication is functioned. The act to transmit and receive a message is perceiving something. To perceive something one necessarily has to see something. Seeing comes before words. The meaning that seeing precedes the word means that what we can decide our position is seeing, though we explain that world with words, but words can never undo the fact that we are surrounded by it. The way we see things is affected by what we know or what we believe. We only see what we look at to look is an act of choice. As a result of this act, what we see is included in the range of what we can understand. It is because most cases of the communication we take and give is the attempt to express metaphorically and verbally 'you see thing' and the attempt to discover how 'he sees thing.' That we can perceive the image is for our ability to identify the social code. To see and to be seen which are not capable to communicate make the perception more confusing. And we need the chain to connect the two procedure, 'to be seen' and 'to see' can easily be function to communicate. The real meaning of the interpretation and communication are realized as they connect to the actual experience and the life of a person. As the photography is the clouds of fantasy and pellets information that, the different view and the different communication of the photography viewer can be said to make things more confusing. But this problem can be easily resolved through the communications of person to person. Communication exists to make life more abundant and not to make confusion. And the procedure is the procedure of the interpretation. Interpretation is not one's prejudice but it is that is premise the communication. Only with the photographic images, it is more important to understand that it is the widest visual communication and it is the plain fact that it is a tool to perceive and not the method of examining the nature of the object.
