      • Cisplatin 병용화학요법시 발생한 오심, 구토에 대한 Ondansetron과 Metoclopramide의 효과에 대한 비교

        Inspite of possible effects for emesis following chemotherapy including cisplatin, nausea and vomiting are the most unpleasant side effects of cancer chemotherapy. None of the currently available antiemetic agents is entirely effective preventing emesis. Ondansetron, a 5-HT(5-hydroxytryptamine)_(3) receptor antagonist, has been shown to be effective antiemetic agent in the control of cisplatin induced emesis. Twenty solid tumor patients who are scheduled to receive cisplatin containing combination chemotherapy participated in a prospectively randomized study to compare the antiemetic efficacy and safety of ondansetron and metoclopramide. Ondansetron was given in dose of 8mg intravenous 30min before cisplatin and then 4hours and 8hours after cisplatin on day 1, and Ⅰ.Ⅴ. every 8hours from day 2 to 5. In the metoclopramide group, metoclopramide was given in dose of 2 ㎎/㎏ intravenous every 8hours from day 1 to 5. The control of emesis was graded in the following way : complete response, no vomiting : major response, 1-2 emetic episodes : minor response, 3-5 emetic episodes : failure, above 5 emetic episodes. Complete or major response of emesis was achieved 10 of 12(83.2%) patients receiving ondansetron and in 5 of 8(62.5%) patients receiving metoclopramide, but effectiveness was not significantly different. Ondansetron was at least as effective as metoclopramide therapy in controlling cisplatin induced emesis. Side effects in ondansetron was less than in Metoclopramide.

      • Micro-Factory 공정간 마이크로 부품 검사 프로브 개발

        This paper shows a non-contact optical method to inspect micron scale parts which will be manufactured in micro-factory system. This inspection system should have some characteristics like a small size, flexibility, and high measuring speed. In the viewpoint of measuring capabilities, it also has resolution under micron scale with measuring range over millimeter scale. Two methods will be presented in this paper, one is Moire and the other is white-light scanning interferometry. Also some experimental results will be presented to show the possibilities of the proposed inspection system.

      • 湖水 水質 豫測을 위한 模型의 比較 硏究

        The purpose of this study is to compare with water quality prediction models for small and middle reservoir. These reservoirs has short rentention times, low depth, and weak stratification phenomenon. Thus, this study was to develop program through a series of modeling procedure for water quality management and prediction of small and middle scale reservoir in Korea, the specific results are as follows. First, The kind of state variables in model was focused on a series of water quality parameters connected with algae concentration which represent quantity of phytoplankton in water. Spatial scales of Hoeong Reservoir was determined as morphological features. therfore Four models were applied to Hoedong Reservoir such as 'Modified Two-Box Model(MTB)', 'Completely Mixed Model' and 'Epilimnion-Hypolimnion Model', MINLAKE Model'. Prediction ability of developed models on this study was tried by means of regression coefficients, RMSPE(Root Mean Square Percent Error), and Absolute Mean Error with 'MINLAKE' model applicable to natural lakes. Results showed that MTB(Modified Two-Box) model had higher prediction ability in comparison with 'Completely mixed' and 'Two-Box' model in chl-a, PO??-P, NH??-N, NO??-N concentration. Also, assuming that had correct input data, 'MINLAKE' model had high prediction ability comparatively. But it was concluded that 'MTB' model had higher prediction ability in all aspects than complicated ecological model, 'Completely mixed' model and 'Two-Box' model in small and middle scale reservoir of Korea.

      • 고체 도펀트 원을 이용한 실리콘 p-n 확산 접합의 형성

        Diffusion processes of boron and phosphorus into Si were studied with solid planar dopant sources produced by Owens-Illinois company in the semiconductor laboratory of Dankook University. In the experiment, BoronPlus GS-126 and PhosPlus TP-360/TP-470 were used as dopant sources in the boron diffusion and in the phosphorus diffusion, respectively. Experimental results for sheet resistance and doping profile showed a little variables such as the distance between wafer and source, the temperature profile of furnace, the flow rate of carrier gas, etc. A p-n diode having the emitter area of 40 × 40㎛^2 was designed and fabricated for the purpose of the application of experimental data. The fabricated device showed a good electrical characteristics of V_T(turn-on voltage) = 0.7(V), BV(breakdown voltage) = 5.8(V), I_0(reverse saturation current) = 1.93 × 10 exp(-9)(A), and η(ideanlity factor) = 1.8.

        In this study, analytical study was performed to verify the effects of basic and reinforcing system such as reinforced wall or X-type bracing system in the reinforced concrete building. At first, the structural behavior of reinforced concrete frame was summarized, and the outline of analytical model was explained. The analytical results by nonlinear finite element method were compared with the experimental results and the comparisons are judged to be good.

      • Clinoptilolite 계열의 국내산 천연제올라이트의 상규명 및 NH₄^+ : 이온교환능에 관한 연구

        Domestic natural zeolite, Clinoptilolite series was investigated to identify the phase and to study the capability of NH4+-ion removal from the solution system. The domestic natural zeolite mined from Young-II man area was proven to be a thermally unstable zeolite, heulandite by XRD and FT-IR analyses. In addition, the heulandite exchanged by K+ ion showed the highest thermal stability upon the heat-treatments. However, the best capability of removing NH4+-ion from the solution system was the Na+-exchanged zeolite.

      • 복어卵巢 鹽藏品 製造中의 化學的 成分 및 毒性의 變化

        Attempts were made to investigate the levels of chemical components and detoxification of the salted puffer overies, Fugu xanthopterus, "Ggachibog" and Fugu rubripes rubripes, "Chambog", processing of solid salt mixtures containing sodium bicarbonate, during storage period. Fresh ovaries of the puffers were divided into three portions, sprinkled with a solid salt mixture containing 0,1 or 2% NaHCO₃, and were stored at room temperature for 12 weeks. The samples were examined at each step and assayed for pH, VBN, amino-N, toxicity and thin- layer chromatogram pattern. The results were summarized as follows: The values of pH were appeared to be different with the added amount of siodium bicarbonate and the values of pH were over 7.0 in a salt mixture containing 2% NaHCO₃. The change of VBN value was also revealed about 85mg/100g in A division and 90-100mg/100g in both B and C, respectively, in the salted ovary of puffer "Ggachibog" from 8 weeks. In case of salted product from the "Chamboh" ovary, it had slightly lower value than that of "Ggachibog" ovary. Also, the value of amino-N was increased until 4-6 weeks and was slowly down after the weeks in all samples. All salted products were found to lose most of the toxicity during storage period when the salt containing NaHcO₃was used for sprinkling. In the case of raw ovaries being weak toxicity below 5.0 MU/g or 24.1 MU/g, the toxicity of salted product was dropped near the level to be edible. Therefore there was significant detoxification of the puffer ovaries by the salt mixture containing sodium bicarbonate. Finally, the toxins isolated from each raw puffer ovary were detected to be TTX-related components by thin-layer chromatogrphy.

        전기솥과 압력솥을 이용한 기능성 강화쌀과 일반쌀의 취반 특성 연구

        The Physicochemical, sensory and cooking properties of functionally fortified rice with dietary fiber and chitosan were compared with regular rice when the rices were cooked with pressure and electric cookers. Moisture content of functional rice before cooking was 11.11%, which was lower than 13.72% in regular rice. Accordingly, moisture contents of functional rice samples cooked both with pressure and electric cookers were lower than those of regular rice. L value showing the degree of lightness of cooked rice was significantly higher in rice samples cooked with pressure cookers. The a value, the degree of redness and the b value, the degree of yellowness, were the highest in the functional rice cooked with an electric rice cookers. Textural measurement of hardness using a rheometer showed the highest value in functional rice cooked with a pressure cooker. The degree of gelatinization measured using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) before cooking showed higher onset gelatinization temperature (T_0) and peak gelatinization temperature (T_p) in functional rice compared with those in regular rice. The gelatinization enthalpy (ΔH) of functional rice was lower than that of regular rice, showing that functional rice had lower gelatinization energy compared with regular rice. When the samples were stored in a refrigerator for one week, the DSC showed faster retrogradation degrees in samples cooked with electric rice cooker, having significantly higher enthalpies of regular and functional rice cooked with electric cookers compared to those cooked with pressure cookers. The functional rice samples cooked with pressure cooker had higher consumer acceptance test values compared to those cooked with electric cookers.
