        2016년 3월 31일부터 7월 31일까지 서울특별시 서초구 서초동에 위치한 서울고등학교 교정 일대를 서울고등학교 환경생물부 부원들이 채집 조사한 결과 20과 43속 53종의 거미가 조사 연구되어 이에 보고하는 바이다. From March 31st to July 31st in 2016, members of an environmental biology club at Seoul High School located in Seocho-gu, Seoul, Dae-Hee Kim, Dong-Woo Park, Jae-Woong Seo and Hyun-woo Lee, collected 20 families 43 genera 53 species of spiders and report the result of the study here.

        용접 근로자의 혈액 및 요중 망간 농도

        Blood and urine samples were taken from 447 welders exposed to manganese containing welding fumes and 127 office workers not exposed to welding fumes as a control. The air samples were analyzed by flame atomic absorption spectrophotometer(Varian 30A, Australia), and blood and urine samples were analyzed by flameless atomic absorption spectrophotometer(Z-8100, Hitachi, Japan). Data were evaluated in accordance with type of industry, smoking habits, and work duration. The results obtained were as follows: 1. The limit of detection(LOD) levels of manganese in blood and urine were 0.11㎍/100㎖ and 0.14㎍/ι, respectively. Our results of manganese concentration were shown within ±2 standard deviation which was the upper and lower warning limit(UWL or LWL) on quality control chart. 2. The airborne concentrations of manganese in welding workplaces were 0.067㎎/㎥ showing differences by type of industry; 0.017㎎/㎥ in automobile assembly and manufacturing industries, 0.084㎎/㎥ in steel heavy industries and 0.180㎎/㎥ in shipyards. 3. The blood manganese concentrations showed differences by type of industry showing the highest values of 1.70㎍/100㎖ in shipyards, 1.24㎍/100㎖ in automobile assembly and manufacturing industries and 1.111㎍/100㎖ in steel heavy industries. Urinary manganese concentration corrected by urinary creatinine concentrations was 0.34㎍/g creatinine in automobile assembly and manufacturing industries, 0.43㎍/g creatinine in steel heavy industries and 0.48㎍/g creatinine in shipyards. There were no difference urinary manganese concentrations by type of industry. 4. The overall blood manganese concentration was 1.26㎍/100㎖, and urinary manganese concentration was 0.35㎍/g creatinine in welders. In contrast to these values, blood and urinary manganese concentrations were lower in control group showing 0.73㎍/100㎖,, and 0.28㎍/g creatinine, respectively. 5. Smoking habits did not seem to affect on blood and urinary manganese concentrations both in welders and office workers. 6. Blood manganese concentrations were significantly higher in welder who had worked longer than 10 years than in welder who had worked less than 10 years. 7. The blood manganese concentrations were significantly correlated to airborne manganese concentrations(r=0.318, n=64), work duration(r=0.425, n=538), and cumulative exposure indices(CEI) (r=0.354, n=64).

        Cyanobacterium Synechocystis PCC6803 내에서 Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. morrisoni PG-14 cryIVD 유전자의 발현

        미생물 살충제로 사용되고 있는 B. thuringiensis를 모기유충방제에 적용하기 위한 시도는 B. thuringiensis가 수서생태계에서 부유하지 못하고 가라앉으며, 생활환을 이루지 못한다는 문제점으로 인해 적용에 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 모기유충에 강한 독성을 갖는 B. thuringiensis subsp. morrisoni PG-14의 cryIVD 유전자를 모기유충의 먹이인 cyanobactrium에 도입하기 위하여 발현벡터 pCYASK 5-1을 제작하고, cyanobacterium Synechocystis PCC6803에 형질전환시켜, 세포내에서 cryIVD 유전자의 발현과 뇌염모기에 대한 독성을 조사하였다. 그 결과 형질전환체 내에서 cryIVD 발현은 immunoblot 분석을 통해 B. thuringiensis subsp. morrisoni PG-14에서 발현된 단백질과 같은 분자량으로 발현되는 것을 확인하였으며, 모기유충에 대한 형질전환체의 독성은 1.40×10^6 cells/ml 농도에서 약 80%의 치사율을 나타내었다. Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. morrisoni PG-14 is a gram-positive soil bacterium producing mosquitocidal parasporal inclusions composed of several crystal proteins. Among these crystal protein genes, cryIVD gene is one of major component which has 72 kDa in size. However, these parasporal inclusions sink quickly from the surface of water where mosquito larval feeding occurred. To develope mosquitocidal cyanobacterium, therefore, we constructed the expression vector, pCYASK 5-1 harboring cryIVD gene. The expression vector, pCYASk5-1 was transformed into the cyanobacterium Synechocystis PCC6803 reported as a natural mosquito larval food source and the transformants were selected with kanamycin. Expression of cryIVD gene in transformant was characterized by SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE) and immunoblot analysis. The mosquitocidal activity of a transformant was determined electrophoresis (PAGE) and immunoblot analysis. The mosquitocidal activity of a transformant was determined with Culex tritaeniorhynchus. The results showed that the transformed cyanobacterium is toxic to mosquito larvae and will be expected as a potential agent that is used for mosquito control.

        수면량과 집중력의 상관관계

        수면, 기억 그리고 학습의 연관성은 실제 매우 복잡하다. 많은 연구에도 불구하고 명확한 연구결과는 아직 없다. 우리는 이 연구에서 평소와는 달리 시험 전날 수면 변화 양상이 집중력에 어느 정도 영향력을 미치는지 알아보고자 하였고, 이를 이용해 효율적인 수면 관리를 할 수 있는 기초자료로 삼고자 하였다. 동국대 의대 본과 1학년생 중 지원자 30명과 본과 2학년생 10명을 대상으로 평상시 상태와 시험 직후 수면이 부족한 상태에서 각각 K-PES TEST를 실시하여 총 8항목에 걸쳐 암기력, 판단력, 단순반응의 변화정도를 검사하였다. 또 설문조사를 병행하여 결과에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 다른 인자들도 파악하였다. 수면량에 대한 부호 숫자 짝짓기(순간 판단력)을 검사한 결과, 인간의 최대 생리학적 기능은 꼭 수면부족에 의해 좌우되는 것은 아니다. 그러나, 수면감소는 피로를 증가시키고, 동기부여를 감소시키나 단, 새로운 사실을 학습하는 데에는 큰 영향을 끼치지 않는다. 즉, 수면부족으로 장시간 깨어있는 것은 정확성과 반응성을 떨어뜨린다. 흡연에 대한 부호 숫자 짝짓기(순간 판단력)을 검사한 결과, 니코틴의 수면에 대한 상호관계는 알려지지 않았고, 인간의 감정이나 의식, 인식에 영향을 주는 것으로 알고있지만, 장기적은 측면에서 흡연이나 알코올은 인식능력과 무관한 것 같다. 카페인에 대한 숫자 외우기(암기력)검사 결과, 카페인은 spacial selective attention에는 특별한 영향을 주지 않지만 지각과정이나 주의 집중에 큰 효과를 주며, 인간의 의식 수행에 긍정적인 효과를 준다. 즉 카페인은 활력, 혼란, 피로상태를 변화시키고 visual analog scales에서 휴식상태에 가까운 양상을 나타낸다. 또 48시간 동안 수면을 취하지 않은 사람에게 카페인은 집중력과 장시간의 좋은 기분을 유지하게 하였다. 그러나 규칙적, 비규칙적으로 먹는 사람간에는 인지수행력의 차이를 보이지 않으며 상용자에서는 상당한 내성이 보인다. 수면패턴에 대한 숫자 더하기(순간 판단력)검사 결과, 집중력은 수면패턴에 의해서도 영향을 받고, 수면패턴이 바뀌게 되면 순간판단력을 저하시킨다. This study was performed to evaluate relationship of sleep and attention, and to control sleep effectively. We conducted a K-PES test of 40 medical students. K-PES contains eight elements, for example, simple response, selective response, color pairing, OddEven discrimination, number addition, number-symbol matching, memory, right-tapping, left tapping. Through these, we tested changes of memory, judgement, simple response. And we conducted a questionnaire survey to exclude bias. Results are as follows. As a results of number-symbol matching test, we know that sleeplessness is not complete responsible for physiologic function for humans. But, decreased sleep increases fatigue and decreases motivation, but no influence on learning new materials. So, long term sleeplessness decreases precision and responsibility. As a results of number-symbol matching test on smoking, a relationship of nicotine and sleep is not certain. A point of view in long term period, smoking and drinking is not related cognition, even if we know that those influence mood, consciousness and cognition. As a results of memory work test on caffeine, caffeine does not influence spacial selective attention, but mainly does perception, attention and consiousness process. Namely caffeine changes energetic activities, chaos, fatigue states and shows resting state in visual analog scales In sleeplessness for 48 hours, caffeine produced attention and good mood for a long time. But, in case of cognitive process no significance shows in regular or irregular diet. Regular diet shows high resistance. As a results of number addition test on sleep patterns, seep patterns influence attention, changes of sleep patterns decrease a moment judgement.

        I measured the heart rate of 5 male students of the department of phisical education, Chungnam National University, with a heart cheker and a pedometer, during footvolley ball games. The results are following: 1. The intensity which needs the improvement of Endurance Over Whole Body is 60-70% of VO₂ Max. The event suiting this was the play with 3persons without breaking time. 2. Whey they took warming-up for 5 minutes before the footvolley ball game, their mean heart rate was 122.3 beat/min. When they played footvolley ball without warming-up, their heart rate was 145.6 beat/min. The latter was higher than the former by 23.3 beat/min. 3. The mean heart rate of the footvolley ball with 3 persons was 126.4 beat/min ; The mean heart rate of footvolley ball with 4 persons was 124.1 beat/min ; The mean heart rate of footvolley ball with 5 persons was 108.1 beat/min. thus 3 person play indicated the highest intensity the shortest unit time. (P〈0.001) 4. The mean heart beat was 5.7 best/min with or without time ; the heart beat without breaking time was higher. (P〈0.001) 5. The heart beat of Forward and Backard was that Backward (3 persons) was a little higher and Forward (4 or 5 persons) was a little higher.

        This study is to analysize critical gap by kinds of vehicle, the most important factor, among serveral factors, 'Traffic Volumes in the Opposite Direction', 'Permitted Left Turn Critical Gap', and 'Signal Rate of Green Time', that have an effect upon capacity at crosssections where permitted left turn is permitted through probit analysis after looking over an existing study on permitted left turn capacity, and to calculate permitted left turn capacity on the basis of the above result. In case that the existing model was similar in distance of left turn moving among places where permitted left-turn was allowed, matter of critical gap unresolved exactly was investigated with the vehicle-interval time of the opposite vehicle by kinds of vehicle through analysis of behavioral characteristic, and after calculating each critical gap through probit analysis, the capacity of permitted left trun was calculated by applying to the capacity model of permitted left trun.
