        연구보문 : 속 찬 줄기 특성 밀의 총체사료 이용 가치 연구

        1. Solid인 그루밀, 우리밀, 탑동밀, 진품밀 및 hollow인 진품밀 solid A, 진품밀 solid B, 고분밀, 은파밀의 밀 8품종의 줄기 특성과 총체수량에 미치는 영향을 조사한 결과 수수, 간장 및 줄기 직경을 고려한 줄기의 체적당 건물중에서는 solid type의 건물중이 무거웠으나 간장 및 줄기의 직경은 solid형이 작아서 stem당 무게에는 차이가 나타나지 않거나 오히려 가벼웠으며, 수수는 더 많아 단위 면적당의 건물중에는 차이가 없었다. 2. 직경이 비슷할 경우, 줄기와 잎을 포함한 tiller당 건물중은 solid인 4품종 평균이 더 무거웠고 hollow인 진품밀 및 진품밀의 solid형 near-iso-genic line 들의 건물중도 유의성은 없으나 solid형이 더 무거웠다. 3. 진품밀 및 Jin sol A 및 Jin sol B의 잎과 이삭을 제외한 줄기의 건물중은 5월 11일에는 차이가 없으나 5월 31일에는 solid형이 더 무거워 solid에 의한 건물중 증대효과는 생육 말기에 이르러 나타났다. This study was conducted to conform the effects of solid stemmed characteristics on total dry weight production in wheat as a haylage crop. There was no difference in total dry weight and total stem only dry weight between the two stem types, although the dry weights per unit cubic was heavier in solid type than hollow type. It seemed that shorter plant height and thicker stem diameter diminished dry weight increase of solid type. Stem dry weights with similar diameter on solid type was also heavier than hollow stem. The content of crude lipid of solid stem was higher than hollow, but crude fiber was lower. There was no significant difference between the two types on CP, ADF and NDF contents and RFV also. The dry weights of 30 stems of Jinpummil and it`s near-iso-genic lines at two time point, May 11th and 31st indicate that later haylage harvest is to be profitable for solid type.

        청보리 신품종 '미호'의 생육특성과 수량성

        청보리 신품종 '미호'는 까락에 거치가 적은 반매끈망으로 부드럽고 엽신비율이 높으며, 내한성에 강하고 경수가 많은 다얼성으로 총체 건물수량이 높은 품종이다. 이 품종은 2001년에 'SB00T2040'을 모본으로 하고, 'SB941003'을 부본으로 인공교배하여 육성선발된 '익산 473호'를 2012년 부터 2014년까지 전국 6개소에서 지역적응시험을 거쳐 2014년에 육성되었다. '미호'는 직립초형이고 파성이 III 정도이며, 잎은 녹색이고 옆폭은 중간 정도이다. 엽이에는 색소 침착이 없고, 까락특성은 거치가 적은 반매끈망이다. 초장은 96 cm로 장간 품종에 속하고, $m^2$당 경수는 650개로서 '영양'의 593개 보다 57개가 많은 다얼성이다. 출수기는 전작에서 4월 28일, 답리작에서는 4월 27일로 표준품종인 '영양'보리와 같았고, 황숙기는 전작에서 6월 1일로 '영양'보다 1일 늦었고, 답리작에서도 5월 29일로 1일 늦었다. '미호'는 영양보다 내한성이 강하였고, 흰가루병에는 감수성을 나타내었지만 보리호위축병은 익산(III)에서 중도저항성, 나주(I), 진주(IV)에서는 저항성을 보였다. 건물수량은 전작에서 평균 13.1톤/ha, 답리작에서 평균 12.1톤/ha으로 '영양'에 비하여 각각 9%, 2% 증수하였다. 조사료 품질은 조단백질 함량은 6.8%로 '영양'에 비해 낮았고, ADF와 NDF 함량은 각각 27.1%, 49.4%로 '영양'에 비해 다소 높았으나, TDN 수량은 8.3톤/ha로 '영양'보리와 대등하였다. 사일리지 품질은 2등급으로 양호한 발효양상을 보였다. The purpose of development new variety 'Miho' (Hordeum vulgare L.) is a favorite with livestock feed and develop varieties resistant to disease and lodging. 'Miho' was carrying out the growth habit of group III with green and mid-wide leaf. Awn that is related to preference of livestock is a semi-smooth awn. This cultivar had 96 cm of culm length, 650 of spikes $per\;m^2$. Heading date of 'Miho' was April 27, and maturing date on May 30, which were later than cultivar 'Youngyang'. It also showed strong winter hardiness, and similar resistance to shattering and bariy yellow mosaic virus (BaYMV) compared with those of check one. The best thing among the traits of a good quality with the plant green at the latter growing period. The average forage dry matter yield in the regional yield trial was about 13.1, 12.1 MT per ha in upland and paddy field, respectively, which were 9%, 2% higher than that of the check cultivar. It's also showed 6.8% crude protein, 27.1% ADF (acid detergent fiber), and 67.5% TDN (total digestible nutrients), including higher silage quality for whole crop barley. This cultivar would be suitable for the area whose average minimum temperature was above $-8^{\circ}C$ January in Korean peninsula.

        조사료 수량이 높고 사일리지 품질이 우수한 청보리 신품종 '다청'

        '다청'은 답리작 적응 추위 및 도복에 강한 다수성 청보리 품종육성을 목표로 2002년 추위 및 도복에 강한 '선우'를 모본으로, 키가 크고 숙기가 빠른 '큰알보리1호'를 부본으로 인공교배하여 육성 선발된 '익산479호'로 전국 6개소에서 2013년부터 2015년까지 지역적응시험을 거쳐 2015년에 육성되었다. '다청'은 직립 초형으로 파성은 IV정도이고, 잎은 녹색이며, 하부잎 엽초의 털이 있다. 초장은 99cm이고, $m^2$당 경수는 625개로 표준품종인 '영양'보다 적었으며, 엽신 비율이 18.7%, 이삭비율은 52.2%로 높다. 답리작에서 출수기는 4월 24일로 '영양'과 같았으며, 황숙기는 5월 26일로 영양과 같았다. 내한성은 '영양'보다 강하였으며, 흰가루병에는 감수성을 보였지만, 보리호위축병에 저항성을 나타냈다. 건물수량은 전작에서 12.8톤/ha '영양'보다 5% 증수하였으며, 답리작에서 11.9톤/ha으로 '영양'보다 10%로 증수하였다. 조사료 품질은 조단백질 함량이 9.0%로 '영양'에 비해 낮았으며, ADF는 31.3%, NDF는 54.4%로 '영양'보다 높았으며 TDN이 64.0%로 '영양'보다 다소 낮았으나, TDN수량은 영양보다 높고, 사일리지 등급도 I 등급으로 영양보다 높았다. A new barley(Hordeum vulgare L.) cultivar 'Dachung' having high forage yielding and good silage quality was developed at National Institute of Crop Science, RDA in 2015. This cultivar was derived from a cross of the 'Sunwoo' and 'Keunalbori1ho' in 2002. And it's promising line showed both high yield and lodging resistance through the preliminary and advanced yield trials(PYT, AYT) at Iksan from 2010 to 2012. It was designated as the 'Iksan479'. 'Iksan479' was conducted to regional yield trials(RYT) in six locations around Korea for three years from 2013 to 2015. And it was released as the name of 'Dachung'. It has erect plant type, growth habit of IV and green leaf. In the paddy field its heading date was April 24 and maturing date was May 26, same day with 'Youngyang'. Plant height of 'Dachung' was 99cm. Dachung's spikes per $m^2$ was 625. It has high rate of leaf blades, resistance to BaYMV(Barley Yellow Mosiac Virus) and better winter hardiness than that of 'Youngyang'. The average dry matter of 'Dachung' was about $11.9ton\;ha^{-1}$ in paddy field. And average feed quality of 'Dachung' was 9.0% of crude protein content, 31.3% of ADF (Acid Detergent Fiber), 54.4% of NDF (Neutral Detergent Fiber), 64.0% of TDN (Total Digestible Nutrients). 'Dachung' had grade I of silage quality. This cultivar would be suitable for the area above the daily minimum temperature of $-8^{\circ}C$ in January in Korean peninsula.

        조사료용 다수성 총체밀 품종 ‘청우’

        “Cheongwoo”, a white winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) cultivar was developed by the National Institute of Crop Science, RDA. It was derived from the cross“Kanto75/8/Tapdong/4/Bb#1/Jangkwang//STRAMCHO/3/Suwon220/5/Suwon185/ CI12703//Kanto75///Suwon219/7/F1277” and “Keumkang” in 1998 at RDA. “Keumkang” is a semi-hard white winter wheat with high yield. And mother plant is a winter wheat with long culm length, high yield. “Cheongwoo” was evaluated as “Iksan326” in Advanced Yield Trial Test in 2007. It was tested in the regional yield trial test between 2008 and 2009. “Cheongwoo” is first whole crop wheat with long culm length, high-yield. The Heading date of “Cheongwoo” was similar to “Keumkang”. The average forage yield of “Cheongwoo” was about 14.8 ton ha-1 in dry matter in paddy field. This dry matter was higher than dry matter of “Keumkang” (13.2 ton ha-1). The cultivar had 97 cm of culm length, 1,070 spikes per m2 and it showed better rate of culm. Culm length of “Cheongwoo” were longer than “Keumkang”. This cultivar would be suitable for the area above the daily minimum temperature of -10°C in January in Korean peninsula. Our research will improve good-quality of silage by using winter cereal crops.

        내병 다수 후기녹체성 청보리 신품종 '녹양'

        청보리 신품종 '녹양'은 총체생산성이 높고 생육후기 녹체성이 우수하며, 도복에 강하고 보리호위축병에 저항성인 품종이다. 이 품종은 2001년 '낙영'을 모본, 육성계통인 'SB77368-B-145'를 부본으로 교배하여 선발된 'SB01T2017-B-B-1-2' 계통을 2007년~2012년까지 관찰시험, 생산력검정시험과 지역적응시험을 거쳐 2012년에 육성되었다. '녹양'은 반포복 초형으로 파성이 III 정도이며, 잎은 담녹색이면서 넓고, 줄기 굵기는 중간 정도이며, 이삭은 길고 까락은 일반망이다. '녹양'은 잎과 줄기의 후기녹체성이 '영양'에 비해 오래 지속되었다. '녹양'의 초장은 104 cm로 대비품종인 '영양'에 비해 장간형이고, 평균 출수기와 성숙기는 각각 5월 6일과 6월 4일로 '영양'보다 늦었다. '녹양'은 '영양'보다 추위와 도복에 강하였고, 보리호위축병에 대하여 익산(III형), 나주(I형), 진주(IV) 등 모든 지역에서 저항성을 보였다. '녹양'의 평균 건물수량은 전작에서 12.8톤/ha, 답리작에서 11.5톤/ha으로 영양'에 비하여 각각 7%, 2% 증수하였다. '녹양'과 '영양' 모두 황숙기에 곡실의 탈립 정도가 매우 낮았고, 조사료 품질은 조단백질 함량 7.2%, ADF 25.9%, TDN 68.5%로 '영양'과 대등하였고, 젖산함량도 3.36%로 3.04%인 '영양'과 비슷하였으며, 사일리지 등급은 2등급으로 양호하였다. "Nokyang" (Hordeum vulgare L.), a new whole-crop silage barley cultivar, was developed by the breeding team at the Department of Rice and Winter Cereal Crop, National Institute of Crop Science, RDA, Korea in 2012. It was derived from combining "Nagyoung" and breeding line "SB77368-B-145". Among the combinations made in 2001, a promising line, "SB01T2017", showed good characteristics in terms of potential forage yield in the yield trial at Iksan from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, the promising line was designated as "Iksan457" and placed in regional yield trials at six locations around Korea for three years from 2010 to 2012, and was released under the name of "Nokyang." It has the growth habit of a group III creeping plant type, with a light-green leaf and common spike. Its average heading and maturing dates were on May 6 and June 4, respectively, which were later than cultivar "Youngyang." "Nokyang" also showed strong winter hardiness, and a resistance to shattering and barley yellow mosaic virus (BaYMV) similar to those of the check cultivar. The best thing among the traits of one is a new good quality with the plant green at the latter growing period. The average forage dry matter (DM) yields in the regional yield trial were about 12.8 and 11.5 MT $ha^{-1}$ in upland and paddy field, respectively, which were higher than those of the check cultivar, by 7% and 2%, respectively. This cultivar would be suitable for an area of the Korean peninsula where the daily minimum temperature in January is above $-8^{\circ}C$.

        노화가속화 조건에서 저장 기간에 따른 귀리의 기능성 성분 및 항산화 활성 변화

        In this study, we investigated the changes in physicochemical properties, antioxidant activities, and contents of functional compounds, such as avenanthramides (AVNs), vitamin E, and ${\beta}$-glucan, in oats by accelerated age-conditioning (temperature: $45^{\circ}C$, relative humidity: 20%). No significant differences were observed in crude protein, crude fat, and AVNs contents of three oat cultivars, up to 63 days of storage; however, their antioxidant activities, as well as ${\beta}$-glucan, vitamin E, and fatty acid contents were significantly different (p < 0.05). ${\beta}$-glucan and fatty acid contents and the antioxidant activities of Deayang (DY) cultivar did not change during storage. ${\beta}$-glucan and unsaturated fatty acid contents of Choyang (CY) and Jopung (JP) increased during the storage period, while antioxidant activities did not (DPPH-CY; 48.1 to 26.9 mg TEAC/100 g, JP; 49.4 to 26.7 mg TEAC/100 g. ABTS-CY; 88.4 to 56.3 mg TEAC/100 g, JP; 80.0 to 55.8 mg TEAC/100 g). The total vitamin E content in DY (1.20 to 0.85 mg/100 g) and CY (1.73 to 1.33 mg/100 g) decreased, but it was maintained in JP. This study indicated that the changes in physicochemical properties and functional compounds of oat grains during storage depends on the cultivars. The result showed that DY, which has the highest AVNs content, has more stable functional compounds and antioxidant activities during storage. These results can serve as essential data for post-harvest management and development of functional food materials for extending the use of oats.

        초기생육이 빠른 삼차망 청보리 신품종 '유한'

        청보리 신품종 '유한'은 삼차망으로 가축 기호성이 좋고 보리호위축병에 강하면서 탈립이 적은 양질 다수성 품종이다. '유한'은 직립 초형으로 파성은 III이고. 엽색은 담녹색, 넓이는 중 정도이다. 초장은 107 cm로 장간이고, 경수는 $m^2$당 641개로 다얼성이다. 출수기는 전작에서 5월 2일로 대비품종인 '유연' 보다 1일 늦었으며, 답리작에서는 4월 28일로 2일 빨랐다. 황숙기는 전작에서 6월 4일, 답리작에서는 5월 31일로 '유연'과 같았다. 도복은 3 정도로 중강이고, 내한성은 '유연' 보다 강하였으며, 보리호위축병은 익산(III형), 나주(I형), 진주(IV)에서 모두 저항성을 보였다. 건물수량은 전작 1개소 및 답리작 5개소 평균 12.6톤/ha으로 '유연' 보다 6% 증수하였으며, 답리작에서는 12톤/ha로 5% 증수하였다. 조사료 품질은 조단백질 함량 7.3%, ADF 26.8%, NDF 47.8%, TDN 67.7%로 '유연'과 비슷하였고, 사일리지 품질은 2등급으로 양호하였다. 적응지역은 1월 최저평균기온 $-8^{\circ}C$ 이상으로 북부 산간내륙지방을 제외한 전국이다. "Youhan" (Hordeum vulgare L.), a new whole-crop barley cultivar, was developed by the breeding team at National Institute of Crop Science, RDA in 2012. Youhan has the growth habit of III, a light green and mid-sized leaf, hooded and lax-type spikes. The cultivar showed 107 cm of culm length, 641 spikes per $m^2$. The heading date of Youhan was May 1, which is one day later than that of the check cultivar "Yuyeon" in upland, and 2 days earlier than that of Yuyeon in paddy field. The maturation time was similar to check cultivar Yuyeon on June 4 in upland and May 31 in paddy field. In terms of winter hardiness and resistance to lodging and disease, Youhan also performed better than the check cultivar. The average forage dry matter (DM) yield in the regional yield trial was approximately 12.6 ton $ha^{-1}$ and 12.0 ton $ha^{-1}$ in upland and paddy field, respectively, which were 6% and 5% higher than that of the check. The yield also showed 7.3% of crude protein, 26.8% of ADF (acid detergent fiber), 47.8% of NDF (neutral detergent fiber), 67.7% of TDN (total digestible nutrients), and a higher grade of silage quality for the whole-crop barley. Fall sowing cropping of Youhan is recommended only in those areas where the average daily minimum-mean temperatures in January are higher than $-8^{\circ}C$, and it should not be cultivated in mountainous areas of Korea.

        국내 육성 귀리 품종의 이화학적 특성 및 식이섬유 함량 분포

        Consumption of oat-based food is rapidly increasing due to consumer preference for functional foods. Until now, breeding is focused on the development of naked oat for food in Korea. Hulled oats recognized as forage have strong merits for yield and stability in cultivation except milling properties. Lately, advanced milling technology provides an opportunity to use hulled oats for food. Therefore, the processing characteristics of hulled oats are of great importance for food use. This study examined the physicochemical properties and dietary fiber of 9 Korean oat cultivars (4 hulled oats as compared with 5 naked oat cultivars). Findings showed that the color values (i.e. L and W) of hulled oat cultivars in seed and flours are lighter than the naked oats. The protein and ash contents are higher in hulled oats as compared with naked oats. The unsaturated fatty acid (USFA), mainly C18:1, C18:2 were 80~83%. USFA of ‘Daeyang’ (DY, naked) and ‘Jopung’ (JP, hulled) were 82.0 and 81.9% respectively. Total Dietary fiber and Total β-Glucan contents ranged from 13.2 to 20.6% and from 3.4 to 4.1% in oat flours. The ‘DY’ (4.10%, naked), ‘JP’(4.09%, hulled) and Highspeed (4.07%, hulled) showed high levels of β-Glucan contents. Findings of the study will provide useful information in extending the use of hulled oats for food.

        국내 육성 쌀귀리 품종의 이화학 특성 및 베타글루칸 함량

        본 연구에서는 소비가 증가되고 있는 귀리 관련 식품 및 가공식품 수요에 대처하기 위해 국내 육성 품종의 이화학적 특성 및 기능성분인 베타글루칸과 항산화활성을 분석하였다. 국내에서 현재까지 개발된 쌀귀리는 5개 품종으로 이들 품종에 대한 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 귀리 종실의 외관특성은 선양을 제외한 모든 품종이 장립종이었으며, 귀리 종실 및 가루의 백도 및 L값은 조양이 비교적 높은 값을 보였고, 단백질, 전분, 조지방 등 주요 구성성분은 품종에 따라 유의적인 차이를 보였다. 총베타글루칸 함량은 3.78-4.60% 수준으로 대양이 가장 높았으며, 총베타글루칸 함량에 대한 수용성베타글루칸 함량비율은 71-83%이었다. 쌀귀리의 지방산 조성은 C18:1, C18:2, C16:0, C18:0, C18:3 순이었으며, 불포화지방산 함량은 75.4-81.2%이었으며 대양이 가장 높았다. DPPH 라디칼 소거 활성과 ABTS 라디칼 소거 활성은 품종마다 유의적인 차이를 보였으며, 대양이 가장 높은 항산화활성을 보였다. 전분함량과 단백질 함량은 부의 상관관계(r= −0.775)를 보였으며, DPPH 라디칼 소거활성은 총페놀함량과 정의 상관관계(r=0.760)를 나타내었고,회분함량과 분말백도도 정의 상관관계(r=0.732)를 나타내었다. Due to increased consumption and demand for oat-related foods and processed food, this study examined physicochemical properties, antioxidant activity, and β-glucan contents of 5 Korean naked oat cultivars. Oat seeds had long-grain appearance in all cultivars except for Seonyang. The contents of main components such as protein, starch, and crude fat were significantly different among cultivars. The total β-glucan content was 3.78-4.60% and the soluble β-glucan ratio was 71-83%. Fatty acid composition was C18:1, C18:2, C16:0, C18:0, and C18:3. Unsaturated fatty acid (USFA) content was 75.4-81.2%. 2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazil (DPPH) and 2,2-azino-bis-3-ethyl-benzo-thiaxoline-6-sulfonic acid (ABTS) radical scavenging activity were significantly different for each cultivar. Daeyang had the highest β-glucan, USFA content, and antioxidant activity. Protein content showed a negative correlation with starch content (r = −0.775). Antioxidant activity was positively correlated with total phenol content (r =0.760). Ash content and flour whiteness showed a positive correlation (r =0.732).
