      • 백서의 복강내에 투여한 Mitomycin-C-Polyglycolic acid 제형이 장기에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        To evaluate the in-vivo effects of mitomycin-C-polyglycolic acid composite(MMC-PGA) the disk: shaped composite were implanted into the peritoneal cavity of the Sprague-Dawley rats. The pathologic changes were examined at various time points up to 12 weeks. Initially the soft tissue around the inserted disks showed capillary congestion at 3 days. Inflammatory infiltrates with foreign body giant cells appeared from the 2nd week and reached peak response at 6-8 weeks. These reaction diminished prominently at 12 weeks. No specific pathologic change was found in the liver, the kidneys, and the heart. The above results suggest that the MMC-PGA composite can serve as a new device for intraperitoneal chemotherapy of various types of cancers.

      • 불소배합 음용수와 불화우유 섭취에 의한 백서치아 탈회 억제효과 비교

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the inhibitory effect of fluoride in the water and milk on tooth enamel dissolution by commercial beverages. 3 weekold 60 female sprague-Dawley strain were divided into four groups and given the following dosage of fluoride in the drinking water:0,1,5 and 50ppm for six and twelve weeks ad libitum. Upper incisors were prepared for specimen with low speed dental disc.The slabs of each incisors were embedded in unsaturated polyester,polished with #1,200 silicon carbide paper and aluminisilicate powder.Three kinds of beverage were selected for test medium and enamel slabs of rat incisors were dipped for 60 and 120 minutes in each beverage.Surface microhardness was examined before and after dissolution with beverage. All collected data were analyzed using the SAS package.Differences between groups were compared by the one-way ANOVA,Duncan's multiple range test and ANCOVA procedures. Corresponding p-values were considered significant at the values less than 0.05. The obtained results were as follows: 1. Surface microhardness was significantly increased both 6 and 12 weeks groups compared with control group. Surface microhardness of high fluoride groups were also proportionally increased with increasing concentration of fluoride both in the water and milk. 2. There were significant differences of inhibitory effect of surface microhardness after 60 and 120 minutes emersion periods,and both at 6 and 12 weeks group in the veverage B and C,but not appeared in the beverage A. 3. The inhibitory effect of enamel dissolution was higher in the 12 weeks group than 6 weeks group both at the water fluoridation and milk fluoridation. 4. The differences of micro hardness between before and after emersion in the beverages were larger in the milk fluoridation groups than water fluoridation groups.

      • 국민건강증진을 위한 보건소 운동사업의 효과에 대한 연구

        This study was conducted to investigate the effect of exercise program of public health center for health promotion. The participated subjects was consisted of 12 middle-aged female classes and 18 elderly classes. Before the exercise program started, we examined health history questionnaire and physical activity questionnaire. The exercise was consisted of stretching, folk dance. The obtained results were as follows: In the elderly class, the circumstance of waist. hip and W/H was significantly decreased compared to before the exercise started(p<.05). In addition, the systolic blood pressure of elderly class was significantly decreased compared to before the exercise started(p<.05). In middle-aged female class, there was similar trends to elderly class in spite of no significant difference. From these results. it was suggested that exercise program of public health center for health promotion was contribute to health promotion and quality of life.

        This study was conducted to investigate the ultrastructural alterations and the appearance of new proteins during regeneration of the tail of iguana. The intact or regenerating tissues were prepared for electron microscopy and electrophoresis. On the electron microscopy of the regenerating spinal cord of iguana, spherical nuclei with much of euchromatin were observed. Heterochromatin were uniformly condensed in nuclei and distinctly vacuolated nuclear envelope was found. It was though that the cells showed high synthetic activities. SDS-PAGE analysis revealed some distinct bands which were not present in intact groups.

      • 高品質 豚肉 生産을 위한 고구마 사일리지의 開發에 關한 硏究 : 3. 肥肉豚에 대한 고구마 사일리지 給與가 豚肉의 品質에 미치는 影響 3. Effects of Supplementing the Sweet Potato Silage on Pork Quality

        육에 대한 소비자들의 욕구는 계속해서 증가하고 다양해지고 있어 이러한 욕구에 부응하기 위해 육의 풍미 및 육색을 증진시키는 것으로 알려진 고구마 사일리지를 급여한 돈육 일반성분과 물리적인 성질 및 도체특성을 조사하였다. 고구마 사일리지 제조는 고구마의 외부에 부착된 흙을 수세하여 마쇄한 후 고구마 사일리지 1은 고구마 70%, 맥강 20%, 대두박10%를 혼합하여 제조하였으며, 고구마 사일리지 2는 고구마 70%, 맥강 30%를 혼합하여 제조하였다. 일반성분으로는 수분, 조지방, 조단백, 조회분을 조사하였고, 물리적 성질로는 pH, 보수성, 연도, 육과 지방색, 관능검사, 도체특성을 조사하였다. 일반성분에서 수분은 고구마 사일리지 2 급여구가 다른 처리구에 비하여 유의적으로 높게 나타난(P<0.05) 반면에 조지방 함량과 조단백질 함량은 유의적으로 낮은 함량을 보였으며, 그리고 조회분 함량은 처리구간에 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 물리적 성질인 pH의 변화는 대조구와 고구마 사일리지 급여구간에는 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 보수성은 고구마 사일리지 급여구가 대조구보다 유의적으로 높게 나타났으며(P<0.05), 연도는 고구마 사일리지 급여구가 대조구에 비하여 좋은 결과를 보였다. 육색의 변화는 고구마 사일리지 급여로 명도가 유의적으로 낮게 나타났으며, 적색도와 황색도는 측정부위에 따라 값의 변화가 심하였다. 지방색은 고구마 사일리지 급여가 대조구에 비하여 황색도가 낮아 좋은 결과 였다. 관능검사 결과는 고구마 사일리지 급여가 대조구에 비하여 풍미는 유의적으로 높은 성적을 보였지만(P<0.05), 다즙성, 견고성, 탄력성에는 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 전체적인 관능검사 성적은 고구마 사일리지 2 급여구가 가장 좋은 성적을 얻었다. 도체특성에 미치는 변화를 측정한 결과 도체중은 유의적으로 낮게 나타났으나(P<0.05), 지육율은 차이가 없었다. 그러나 고구마 사일리지 급여로 등지방 두께가 유의적으로 감소하는 결과를 보였다(P<0.05). 본 실험 결과 보수성과 연도는 대조구에 비해 고구마 사일리지 급여구가 더 나은 결과 나타내었으며, 육색과 관능검사, 도체특성 결과도 대조구에 비교해 고구마 사일리지 급여구가 유의적으로 더 나은 것으로 나타나 고구마 사일리지를 급여시 특히 고구마 사일리지 1 급여구의 경우 돈육의 육질을 크게 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. The present study was conducted to investigate the effect of supplementary feeding of sweet potato silage on carcass and its meat quality in finishing gilts. Two sweet potato silages containing same ingredients with different ratios(silages 1 and 2; 70 and 70% sweet potato, 20 and 30% barley bran, 10 and 0% soybean meal, respectively) were fermented for 21 days in 500 kg-capacity silos. Finishing gilts were fed a commercial finishing diet(CONT), or the same basal diet plus 0.4kg silage 1(TRT 1) or silage 2(TRT 2)/head/day beginning from 90kg of body weight, 18 heads per group, up to approximately 110kg of final weight and slaughtered. After measuring carcass traits, loin eye sections were removed and their physicochemical characteristics were analyzed. The sensory evaluation on the fresh and cooked meat was performed by the panel test and the whole experiment was repeated 3 times. Backfat thickness was reduced in TRT 1 and TRT 2 compared with CONT, but carcass weight and dressing percentage were not different between the feeding regimens. Compared with CONT, TRT 1 and TRT 2 had greater water holding capacity, tenderness, fat color and palatability scores including flavor and reduced brightness, with no difference in pH, juiciness, firmness and gumminess. Overall, TRT 2 exhibited the greatest sensory evaluation score.

        To estimate the essential and nonessential amino acid compositions as added moisture levels in manufacturing fermentation feedstuffs, the three kinds of experimental conditions, T1, T2, T3 were made with rice bran(90kg), leaf mold(10kg) according to added moisture 40kg, 60kg, and 80kg, respectively. In T1 and T2 cases, the contents of threonine, phenylalanine, histidine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid, cystine, arginine increased significantly during fermentation, however, in T3 case, the thereonine content increased significantly after 9 hours fermentation but decreased at 12 hours fermentation(P<0.05). In T1 and T3 cases, the contents of valine, leucine and arginine increased significantly after 9 hours fermentation and decreased at 12 hours fermentation(P<0.05). Methionine increased for three hours fermentation and then did not increase in content in the T1 and the T3. In T2 case, methionine level increased gradually for whole fermentation time. In T3 case, phenylalanine, histidine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid and cystine increased significantly after 9 hours fermentation, but decreased at 12 hours fermentation(P<0.05). In T1, T2 and T3, isoleucine, lysine, serine, proline, glycine, alanine and tyrosine increased significantly during fermentation time(P<0.05).

        상사화속 식물 화색의 분류 및 특성

        Color characteristics and classification of 14 species of Lyroris were studied. Three species of red, four species of reddish orange, one species of orange, and one species of reddish purple were classified. Eleven species among fourteen species tested had 530 nm of λvismax, and three species had 513 nm of λvismax. Spectroscopic method were employed to measure the contents of total flavonoid and anthocyanin in Lycoris species. L. squamigera and L. jacksoniana had 1.61 g/100g.FW, of total flavonoid, which was the highest content among fourteen samples tested. L. radiata had 9.09mg/100 g.FW, of total anthocyanin, and followed L. sap. D, 7.68 mg/100 g.FW,, L. radiata var. pumila, 6.87 mg/100 g.FW., L.satuma $quot;Hiryu$quot;, 6.81 mg/100g.FW,.
