        제주도 지하수 질산염 농도의 시·공간적 변화 특성: 장기(1993-2015) 모니터링 자료의 평가

        1993년부터 2015년까지 관측된 제주도 지하수 장기모니터링 관측정(N = 4,835)에서 수집된 지하수 수질자료(N = 21,568)를 기반으로 질산성질소의 시공간적 변동 특성을 평가하였다. 제주도 지하수의 질산성질소 농도의 중앙값은 2.5 mg/L로서 다른 국가나 대륙의 조사 결과에 비해 다소 높거나 유사한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 지하수 용도, 행정구역 및 고도 별로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 특히, 산간 지역에 비해 저지대 해안가에 위치한 농업 및 주거지역에서 농도가 높음을 확인하였다. Mann-Kendall 및 Sen’s slope 분석을 활용한 질산성질소 농도의 추세 분석 결과, 하류 저지 대에 비해 중산간지역에서의 질산성질소 농도 증가 경향이 뚜렷하였다. 제주도 내 토지 피복의 시계열 변화 특성과 결부 지어 보면, 중산간지역의 오염 증가 추세는 농업지역의 확장 등 인위적 활동 증가에 기인한 결과로 판단된다. 반면,기지정된 지하수자원특별관리구역에서는 전반적으로 질산성질소 농도의 감소 경향이 나타났는데, 이는 지하수 관리 측면에서 수질관리를 위한 적극적인 정책이 유효함을 시사한다. 본 연구에서는 제주도 지하수의 질산성질소 오염관리를 위한 적정 방안을 제안한다. The spatio-temporal variations of nitrate concentrations in groundwater of Jeju Island were evaluated by an analysis of time series groundwater quality data (N = 21,568) that were collected from regional groundwater monitoring (number of wells = 4,835) for up to 20 years between 1993 and 2015. The median concentration of NO 3 -N is 2.5 mg/L, which is slightly higher than those reported from regional surveys in other countries. Nitrate concentrations of groundwater in wells tend to significantly vary according to different water usage (of the well), administrative districts, and topographic elevations: nitrate level is higher in low-lying agricultural and residential areas than those in high mountainous areas. The Mann-Kendall trend test and Sen’s slope analysis show that nitrate concentration in mid-mountainous areas tends to increase, possibly due to the expansion of agricultural areas toward highland. On the other hand, nitrate concentrations in the Specially Designated Groundwater Quality Protection Zones show the temporally decreasing trend, which implies the efficiency of groundwater management actions in Jeju. Proper measures for sustainable groundwater quality management are suggested in this study.

        치태형성 억제세균의 분리

        치태의 주요성분인 비수용성 글루캔의 형성을 억제시키는 세균을 분리하기 위하여 유치원 원아 만여명으로 부터 타액을 채취하였다.일회용 큐벧을 사용하여 비수용성 글루캔의 형성을 억제시킨 세균을 분리하였다.분리된 세균을 그람 염색과 API 20S kit 와 API 50 CHL kit를 사용하여 당발효 및 생화확적 특성을 검사한 결과,Streptococcus oralis,Streptococcus mitis,Streptococcus mitior,Streptococcus sanguis,Enterococcus durans,Lactobacillus lactis로 동정되었다.비수용성 글루캔 형성 억제 정도를 판정하기 위하여 일회용 큐벧에서 S.mutans 단독 배양시에는 550nm에서의 흡광도가 1.503이었으나,S.mutans 와 Streptococcus oralis,Streptococcus mitis,Streptococcus mitior,Streptococcus sanguis,Enterococcus durans,Lactobacillus lactis, Lactobacillus acidophilus 혼합 배양시에는 각각의 흡광도가 0.823,0.912,0.894,0.878,0.753,0.845,1.021로 감소되었다. The insoluble glucan is the major substance of dental plaque. In order to isolate the bacteria inhibiting the formation of insoluble glucan in disposable cuvette,saliva was got from about 10 thousand children.The isolated bacteria were tested by API 20S kit and API 50 CHL kit.These bacteria were identified as Streptococcus oralis,Streptococcus mitis,Streptococcus mitior,Streptococcus sanguis,Enterococcus durans,Lactobacillus lactis,and Lactobacillus acidophilus.When Streptococcus mutans was cultured with Streptococcus oralis,Streptococcus mitis,Streptococcus mitior,Streptococcus sanguis,Enterococcus durans,Lactobacillus lactis,and Lactobacillus acidophilus in disposable cuvette,the optical density at 550 nm was 0.823,0.912,0.894,0.878,0.753,0.845,1.021 respectively,while being 1.503 in the disposable cuvette Streptococcus mutans only.

        본 연구는 덕성여대의 효과적인 홍보전략 수립을 위한 기초자료를 제공하기 위한 것이다. 연구대상은 1997학년도 덕성여자대학교 신입생 전체이다. 연구방법은 질문지를 이용하여 의견조사를 실시하였다. 분석된 자료는 815부(63.18%)이다. 전년도 자료와 1997년도(1994∼1997) 자료를 비교ㆍ분석하여 본 대학의 효과적 홍보전략 수립을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. The goal of this study was to do a preliminary study to devise effective public relations strategies for Duksung Women's University. The subjects were 1300 Duksung freshmen. The data were collected from 815(63.18%) out of 1300 Duksung freshmen. Questionaire responses of the 1997 incoming student population of the Duksung University were compared with those given by the incoming students of the three previous years(1994∼1997). Some suggestions were made based on the results of the study.

        만화 과제를 이용한 정신분열병 환자의 사회인지 능력의 측정

        Objectives : This study is to investigate the hypothesis that schizophrenic patients have difficulty in inferring mental state of others. Methods : Twenty schizophrenic patients and twenty normal subjects were administered to the Cartoon Task required inferring the character's intention in a given context. Results : The schizophrenic patients showed a statistically significant impairment in the Cartoon Task. Both groups chose the card depicting a frequent everyday action significantly more rather than the similar card to the last picture in each story for wrong answers. Conclusion : These preliminary results suggest that schizophrenia is associated with a specific deficit of the cognitive ability referred to as social cognition, and this deficit can be detected not only in the acute phase as found in previous research studies, but also in remission. Also when subjects fail to appreciate what is going on in the minds of other people, they seem to rely on a socially familiar experience.

        Association of 20 potential ATP2B1‐interacting genes with blood pressure in Koreans

        Plasma membrane calcium‐transporting ATPase 1 (ATP2B1)is associated significantly with blood pressure in Caucasians and Asians. ATP2B1 regulates calcium homeostasis and belongs to the P‐type calcium pump family; several studies have identified diverse proteins that bind to ATP2B1. We hypothesized that ATP2B1 regulates blood pressure through ATP2B1‐interacting genes. To this end, 20 potential ATP2B1‐interacting genes were selected, 197 SNPs of which were analyzed for their association of systolic and diastolic blood pressure. These 20 genes were categorized into 2 groups: ATP2B1‐binding genes and ATP2B1‐cleaving calpain family members. Three ATP2B1‐binding genes (CALM1, NOS1, and PDLIM1)were associated with blood pressure, and a SNP in CALM1(rs2401887) generated the strongest association signal (beta=‐3.60±0.92, p=8.9×10^(‐5) for systolic blood pressure and beta=‐1.40±0.62, p=0.02 for diastolic blood pressure). Of the calpain family members, 3 genes (CAPN6, CAPN9, and CAPN10)were associated with blood pressure, and the CAPN10 SNP rs4676348 yielded the strongest association signal (beta=‐0.88±0.27, p=0.001 for systolic blood pressure and beta=‐0.58±0.18, p=0.015 for diastolic blood pressure). Further, the interaction of CALM1 to ATP2B1 was examined using the blood pressure of individuals who carried both variants of CALM1and ATP2B1 genes. Similarly the interaction of CAPN10 to ATP2B1 was also examined. The CALM1 variant (rs2401887)and CAPN10 variants (rs4676348) appear to decrease blood pressure further in addition to the decrease by the variant (rs17249754) of ATP2B1, which suggests that ATP2B1 might regulate blood pressure through the ATP2B1‐interacting genes CALM1 and CAPN10.

      • 노광 과정동안 감광제의 실수 굴절률 변화에 대한 분석

        반도체 집적 소자를 제작하기 위하여 감광제에 빛을 쪼여주게 되는데 이 때 감광제의 굴절률이 변하게 된다. 기존 시뮬레이션 방법에서는 굴절률중 허수에 해당하는 흡수 계수의 변화만 고려되었으나 우리는 실수 굴절률 변화도 고려된 시뮬레이션 방법을 개발하였다. 개발된 방법에 의해 실수 굴절률 변화가 노광 공정에 어떠한 영향을 끼치는지 swing curve와 측면각 등에 대해 탈 초점 및 에너지에 따른 선폭 변화에 대해 조사하였다. I-line과 193 ㎚용 감광제에 적용시켰으며 그 결과 실수 굴절률이 증가하면 선폭을 더 작게 조절할 수 있고 공정여유도도 크게 하지만 측면각은 작아지고 실수 굴절률이 감소하면 선폭은 커지고 공정여유도는 작아지지만 측면각이 증가하는 경향을 보인다. The refractive index of photoresist is changed during exposure of the lithography process. Conventional simulation considers the change of the imaginary refractive index only. We developed a new simulation tool that includes the change of the real refractive index. We investigated the effect of this change to the lithography process. The line width, defocus, energy, swing curve, and side wall angle are studied. We applied the tool to the I-line resist and 193 ㎚ resist. As the real refractive index increases the line width decreases and the process latitude increases, but the side wall angle decreases. As the real refractive index decreases the line width increases and the process latitude decreases, but the side wall angle increases.

      • 루소의 敎育思想이 現代體育에 주는 意味

        The purpose of study was to review the influences of Rousseau's educational thought on the current physical education. For the purpose of this study, a through literature search based on identified in an extensive review of Emile and related literature was performed. Objectives, contexts, and methods of physical education, ideal teacher, and ideal student are reviewed within the related literature. According to Rousseau's thoughts, objectives of physical education are to develop the various organic systems of the body through physical activity in the environment so students will respond in a healthful way to the increased demands placed on them. The contexts of physical education for child contain recreation and outdoor activities that can provide them play opportunities to benefit them physically(physical fit), psychologically(hardship), and socially(faire, friendship, cooperation). The contexts of physical education for youths contain physical activity, work, and game that can provide opportunities to develop physical fitness. His teaching method was 'everything according to nature'. The laws of nature dictate to the teacher and to the student the logical pattern of growth and development(five stages). Rousseau was a strong believer in discipline. He felt that in order to create good children, discipline is a must. Rousseau also suggested that teachers let kids think that they are in control, and develop where the child naturally chooses to do well. Rousseau suggested that a teacher must have many different learning experiences. He also stressed that a teacher should have the abilities of understanding the law of nature and kid's growth and development. Most irnportantly, a teacher, by setting a good example can and will greatly influence a student's behavior and overall performance. Rousseau also felt that each student has the right to pursue freedom and happiness. It falls largely onto the teacher to find the way to help the student reach his or her potential for intelligence. Rousseau also mentioned that students should learn from experience and that students are exceptional imitators. The purpose of physical education, according to Rousseau was to develop all the child's abilities freely, as nature intended. In Rousseau's view, nature was the primary teacher and the job of the "tutor" was to be a guiding force. In Rousseau's naturalism, exploration of one's capabilities and interest leads directly to greater skills and adjustments to nature. Rousseau regarded physical activity as important, it was body, mind, and knowledge. Through physical activities, the individual develops in an all-around way.

        초내식성 스테인리스강 선재와 브라켓의 내식성 및 금속 이온 용출 특성

        Metallic orthodontic appliances are known to release metal ions in an oral cavity. It is not advisable that toxic corrosion products derived from the appliances is absorbed into the body. Metal ions release from orthodontic appliances is known to have large effects on the result of orthodontic treatment and systemic health. Metal bracket and wire were made of super stainless steel(S32050) with high corrosion resistance. The corrosion resistance and ion release property of S32050 and conventionally used appliances were examined. Four types of wire were ligated in either super stainless steel(SB) or Tomy bracket(TB) with O-ring, and then each group was immersed in an artificial saliva at 37℃ for 12 weeks. Amount of released metal ions was measured with immersion time by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectroscopy and surface morphology was investigated. S32050 showed the low passive current density of about 1 μA/㎠ and the stable passive region to a high potential in artificial saliva. S32050 appliances did hardly release nickel ions in artificial saliva. S32050 wire(SRW) and NiTi wire(NW) didn't show significant difference of Ni ion release with immersion time, meanwhile, Remanium wire(RW) showed significant difference in 12 weeks. Ni ion releasce from the brackets didn't show any significant difference with immersion time and between SB and TB. Amounts of Ni ion released from TB-SRW showed significant difference in 12 weeks, those from TB-RW showed significant difference from 4 weeks later and highest release among all groupsin12weeks. TB-NW released little Ni ion for all immersion time and showed significant difference from 4 weeks later, TB-TW(TMA wire) showed significant difference in 12 weks. SB-SRW didn't show any significant difference and SB-RW signigicant difference in 12 weeks,but lower compared with TB group. SB-NW and SB-TW didn't show any significant difference. Corrosion products didn't be observed in mostly groups during the immersion time, except that in TB-RW, they were observed on the bracket surface between O-ring and wire from 8 weeks later. Super stainless steel wire had good corrosion resistance compared with stainless steel wire, and it is believed that it can be used as orthodontic material for bracket and wire.
