        저체중 또는 과체중 청소년에서 캠프 프로그램을 이용한 영양 교육효과에 관한 연구

        This study was performed to evaluate the effectiveness of a nutrition education program developed for nutritionally imbalanced adolescents. A summer nutrition camp was held for 23 overweight and 16 underweight subjects. Its effectiveness with regard to was evaluated at the end of the camp and 6 months later. Nutrition knowledge, nutritional attitude, food behavior, nutrient intake, exercise habit and ideal body figures desired by the subjects. The results showed significantly higher nutrition knowledge scores at the end of the camp as compared to those obtained prior to the camp program, and these scores were maintained for at least six months. Nutrition attitude scores also improved after the education program, and these improved scores also lasted for 6 months. However, the food behavior scores measured 6 months after the education program were not significantly different from those obtained prior to the camp. Also, the exercise habit, the ideal body figures and the body figures desired by the subjects remained unchanged. When nutrient intakes of subjects were assessed before the program and 6 months later, the mean daily vitamin C intake was significantly increased after the education program. Also, the intake of iron from plant food sources increased in the overweight subjects, while less iron from animal source were consumed by the underweight subjects. Both groups tended to consume more vegetables and fruits 6 months after the education program which may have contribute to the higher vitamin C and plant-based iron intakes. These results indicate that a 4-day nutrition education camp program sustained changes in nutrition knowledge and nutrition attitude for 6 months. The increased intake of vegetables and fruits was also achieved through this education program. However, changes in dietary behavior in adolescents may require repeated education.

        특허권과 연구개발 회계처리가 경제적 부가가치에 미치는 영향

        [연구목적]본 연구는 한국거래소 상장기업을 대상으로 특허권 및 연구개발 관련 지출에 대한 자본화 혹은 비용화 회계처리, 그리고 이들의 상호작용이 경제적 부가가치(EVA:Economic Value Added)에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 한다. [연구방법]본 연구의 대상기간은 2016년부터 2019년까지이며, 특허권이 재무상태표에 표시된 284개 기업을 표본으로 선정하였다. 경제적 부가가치는 세후순영업이익에서 총자본비용액을 차감하여 산출하였으며, 특허권과 연구개발 관련 지출은 재무제표에서 추출하였다. [연구결과]가설검증을 위하여 단변량 상관분석과 다중회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 특허권 보유액이 많을수록 이에 비례하여 경제적 부가가치에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 연구개발 활동을 자산으로 회계처리하였을 경우에 경제적 부가가치에 유의한 양(+)의 설명력을 보인 반면, 연구개발 지출을 비용으로 처리하는 회계처리에 대하여 경제적 부가가치에 통계적으로 유의한 설명력을 보이지 않았다. 자본화 연구개발 활동과 특허권의 상호작용 변수는 통계적 유의수준에서 경제적 부가가치에 양(+)의 설명력으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 비용화 연구개발 활동과 특허권의 상호작용 변수는 경제적 부가가치에 통계적으로 유의한 설명력을 보이지 않았다. [연구의 시사점]본 연구는 특허권과 연구개발 활동이 타인자본비용 및 자기자본에 대한 기회비용을 세후순영업이익에서 차감하여 산출한 경제적 부가가치에 긍정적인 효과를 유도할 수 있다는 결과를 제시하여 선행연구와 차별성이 있다. 이를 심화하여 연구개발 활동의 자산화와 비용화가 회계처리가 특허권과 상호작용되었을 경우에 경제적 부가가치에 미치는 효과가 차별적으로 도출될 수 있다는 결과를 제시한 점에서 의의가 있을 것이다. [Purpose]This study aims to investigate the effects of capitalization or expensing on patent rights and R&D expenditures and their interaction on economic value added (EVA). [Methodology]The study was conducted from 2016 to 2019, and 284 companies whose patents were listed on the financial status. The economic value added was calculated by subtracting the total capital cost from the net operating profit after tax, and the expenditure related to patent rights and R&D was extracted from the financial statements. [Findings]As the results of univariate correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis, it showed that the more the patent holding amount, the more positive the EVA. For the capitalization of R&D activities as assets, it showed a significant positive(+) explanation for economic value added, while there was no statistically significant explanation for EVA for R&D expensing. The interaction variables between capitalization R&D and patent rights were found to have positive (+) influence on EVA at the statistical significance level, but the interaction variables between expensing R&D and patent rights did not show statistically significant influence on EVA. [Implications]This study is meaningful in that it verified the discriminatory effect of accounting choice of R&D expenditures on EVA when it interacts with patent rights, which are the formalized form of intellectual assets. This study is different from previous studies by suggesting that patent rights and R&D expenditures can induce positive effects on EVA. It may be meaningful that the effect of capitalization or expensing of R&D activities on EVA can be differentiated when accounting method is interacted with patent rights.

      • 八味元이 Streptozotocin 糖尿病에 미치는 影響

        Streptozotocin was injected to rats and rabbits to induce the experimental diabetes mellitus and Palmiwon was administrated to observe the changes of blood sugar, body weight, and serum Zn, Ca, Mg level in order to find out the effect of diabetic tratment by experimental method. And thus, the result was as follows: 1. The blood sugar level of diabetic rat was decreased after administration of Palmiwon. 2. Body weight of diabetic rat was moderately decreased after administratin of Palmiwon. 3. The less streptozotocin, 30 mg/kg, don't easily induce diabetes mellitus in rabbits. We did not find the changes of blood sugar, serum Zn, Ca, Mg level in the rabbits injected by streptozotocin, 30mg/kg of body weight.

        축구선수의 Detraining과 Retraining이 혈청지질 및 호르몬농도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of detraining and retraining on serum lipid and hormones in soccer players. Subjects were seven male high-school soccer players. V˙O_2max was determined for each subjects by administering a treadmill test(initial speed: 90m/min, grade: 5%, increasing speed per 3 min: 30m/min). Serum lipid(T-C, TG, HDL-C LDL-C) and hormones(epinephrine, norepinephrine, growth hormones, cortisol) were assayed pre and post detraining in 10, 20, 30 days after retraining. The repeated ANOVA was used to determine significant differences. The 0.05 level of significance was as critical level for the study. The results of the study were as follows: 1. V˙O_2max(ml/min) were 3576.3±204.2ml/min pre detraining, 3234.1±198.9 ml/min post detraining. There are significant(p<.05) difference between pre and post detraining. In 10, 20, 30 days after retraining, V˙O_2max(ml/min) were 3601.4±170.9 ml/min. There were significantly(p<.05) increased in retraining periods. 2. V˙O_2max(ml/kg/min) were significantly(p<.05) decreased from 62.3±2.9 ml/kg/min to 55.9±4.7 ml/kg/min in detraining. In 10, 20, 30 days after retraining, V˙O_2max(ml/kg/min) were 62.4±3.4ml/kg/min, 62.7±2.3ml.kg/min, 67.3±7.2ml/kg/min respectively. There were significantly(p<.05) increased in retraining periods. 3. T-C were significantly (p<.05) increased from 166.6±8.5mg/dl to 175.3±10.3 mg/dl in detraining. In 10, 20, 30 days after retraining, T-C were 160.1± 3.2mg/dl, 156.7±3.7mg/dl, 140.3±9.0mg/dl. There were significantly(p<.05) decreased in retraining periods. 4. HDL-C were 61.4±6.6mg/di pre detraining, 5.3±6.6mg/dl post detraining. There are significant(p<.05) difference between pre and post detraining. In 10, 20, 30 days after retraining, HDL-C were 56.9±7.1mg/dl, 56.4±9.2mg/dl, 57.7±9.1mg/dl respectively. There were no significant difference in retraining periods. 5. The hormones(epinephrine. norepinephrine, growth hormone, cortisol) were changed as same patterns. Epinephrine were 26.0±7.0[g/ml pre detraining, 24.6±3.2pg/ml post detraining. In 10, 20, 30 days after retraining, epinephrine were 26.9±5.6pg/ml, 30.6±6.2pg/ml, 29.4±5.6pg/ml respectively. There were no significant difference in retraining periods. In conclusion, HDL-C, epinephrine, norepinephrine, growth hormone and cortisol were decreased, T-C, LDL-C and TG were increased in detraining. But HDL-C, epinephrine, norepinephrine, growth hormone and cortisol were increased, T-C, LDL-C and TG were decreased in retraining.

        유통중인 즉석섭취 새싹채소와 샐러드의 세균오염 분석

        즉석섭취편이 식품중 신선편의식품(fresh-cut-vegetable)인 새싹 채소와 샐러드의 수요는 급증하고 있으나 특히 새싹채소의 미생물 품질평가를 위한 자료가 거의 없는 상황이다. 따라서 국내 대형할인마트에서 유통중인 새싹채소 50제품, 샐러드 30제품을 수집하여 총 호기성균, 대장균군, E. coli, Salmonella spp, S. aureus, B. cereus, L. monocytogenes, Cam. jejuni, C. perfringens의 오염연구를 수행하였다. 총 호기성균은 새싹채소에서는 7.95 log CFU/g 검출되었으며 샐러드에서 평균 6.70 log CFU/g검출되어 샐러드 보다 새싹채소에서 약 1 log CFU/g 더 높게 검출되었다. 대장균군은 새싹채소에서 6.69 log CFU/g 검출되었고 샐러드에서 평균 5.42 log CFU/g 검출되었다. E. coli은 새싹채소 50제품 중 16제품(32%)에서 2.38 log CFU/g으로 검출되었고 샐러드 30제품 중 8제품(27%)에서 2.21 log CFU/g으로 검출되었다. B. cereus는 새싹채소 50제품 중 16제품(32%)이 검출되었고 샐러드 30제품 중 16제품(53%)가 검출되었으나 대부분이 3 log CFU/g 이하의 검출율을 보여 주었다. Salmonella, S. aureus, L. monocytogenes, Cam. jejuni, C. perfringens는 검출되지 않았다. 그러므로 분석된 새싹채소와 샐러드에서 B. cereus이외에 다른 식중독 병원성 미생물의 위해 가능성은 크지 않은 것으로 보인다. 그러나 총 세균수가 높게 검출되었고 위생지표세균인 대장균의 검출율이 높아서 이들 식품의 미생물 안전성을 확보하기 위해서 보다 더 철저한 생산유통관리가 요망되며 특별히 새싹채소에 대한 미생물안전성 확보에 대한 노력이 요구된다. Although bacterial outbreaks from ready-to-eat foods have increased, little information is available on microbial quality of sprouts in markets. Fifty sprouts and 30 salads were collected from wholesale markets. Total aerobic count (TAC), coliform, Escherichia coli, and some pathogens were detected. TAC for sprouts was 7.95 log CFU/g and 6.70 for salads, indicating that sprouts were more contaminated by 1 log CFU/g than that of salads. The numbers of coliform were 6.69 log CFU/g for sprouts and 5.42 for salads. E. coli was detected in 16 of 50 sprout samples at 2.38 log CFU/g and eight of 30 salads at 2.21 log CFU/g. Bacillus cereus was detected in 29 of 50 sprout samples and 16 of 30 salads, and the counts were mostly <3 log CFU/g. Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria monocytogenes, Campylobacter jejuni, and Clostridium perfringens were not detected. Therefore, although pathogens may not be a high risk for these foods, the high TAC and E. coli contamination require improved production and distribution methods, particularly for sprouts.

        Algal bioassay 에 의한 조류생장 제한영양염류 결정

        Determination of Limiting Nutrient for Algal Growth by Algal Bioassay. Oh, Hee-Mock, Seog June Lee, Seong-Bin Kim, Mi- Kyung Park, Byung-Dae Yoon and Do-Han Kim (Environmental Microbiology Research Unit, Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology, Taejon 305-333, Korea and Water Resources Research Institute, Korea Water Resources Corporation, Taejon 305-390, Korea) Water quaiity and algal growth potential (AGP) using Microcystis aeruginosa were investigated from April to September 1997 in Daechung Reservoir. Secchi disk transparency was 1.1 m in August. Chlorophyll-a concentrations were higher than 10㎍/l at all samples. Total phosphorus concentration was in a range of 0.020∼0.027mg/l which is at the approximate value of 0.03 mg/l, the general critical level of eutrophication. These results indicate that Daechung Reservoir is in an eutrophic state except some temporary times and restricted sites. Phosphorus uptake rate of M. aeruginosa was higher in the water from the epilimnion than in the hypolimnion and also higher under light condition than under dark condition. Therefore, phosphorus uptake rate appears to depend on cellular phosphorous content and light condition, a meaning of endergonic process. Phosphorus was the most frequently limiting nutrient: phosphorus was limiting algal gowth in April and May, nitrogen, phosphorus and trace elements were the limiting factors for algae in August, and trace elements in September. If a fast growing alga, M, aeruginosa, is used as a test organism for assaying AGP, in vivo fluorescence instead of dry weight can be measured for algal biomass and incubation period can be reduced from traditional 14 days to 7 days.

        한국인 직무 스트레스 측정도구의 개발 및 표준화

        Background and Purposes: Over the past three decades, numerous studies performed in Korea have reported that job stress is a determinant risk factor for chronic diseases and work disability. Every society has its own culture and occupational climate particular to their organizations, and hence experiences different occupational stress. An occupational stress measurement tool therefore needs to be developed to estimate it objectively. The purpose of this study is to develop and standardize the Korean Occupational Stress Scale (KOSS) which is considered to be unique and specific occupational stressors in Korean employees. Subjects and Methods: Data were obtained from the National Study for Development and Standardization of Occupational Stress (NSDSOS Project: 2002-2004). A total of 12,631 employees from a nationwide sample proportional to the Korean Standard Industrial Classification and the Korean Standard Occupational Classification were administered. The KOSS was developed for 2 years (2002-2004). In the first year, we collected 255 items from the most popular job stress measurement tools such as JCQ, ERI, NIOSH and OSI, and 44 items derived from the a qualitative study (depth interview). Forty-three items of KOSS, in the second year, were retained for use in the final version of the KOSS by using Delphi and factor analysis. Items were scored using conventional 1-2-3-4 Likert scores for the response categories. Results: We developed eight subscales by using factor analysis and validation process: physical environment (3 items), job demand (8 items), insufficient job control (5 items), interpersonal conflict (4 items), job insecurity (6 items), organizational system (7 items), lack of reward (6 items), and occupational climate (4 items). Together they explained 50.0% of total variance. Internal consistency alpha scores were ranged from 0.51 to 0.82. Twenty-four items of the short form of the KOSS (KOSS-SF) were also developed to estimate job stress in the work setting. Because the levels of the subscales of occupational stress were gender dependent, gender-specific standard norms for both the 43-item full version and the 24-item short form using a quartile for the subscales of KOSS were presented. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that KOSS might be an appropriate measurement scale to estimate occupational stress of Korean employees. Further and more detailed study needs to be conducted to improve the validity of this scale.

      • 기능성 Catechol-O-Methyltransferase 유전자 다형성과 한국인 정신분열병의 관련성

        연구목적 : Catechol-O-Methyltransferase(COMT)는 카테콜아민 신경전달물질의 불활성화를 담당하는 효소로서, 정신분열병과 관련된 후보 유전자로서 알려져 왔다. 최근, 기능성 COMT유전자 다형성과 정신분열병의 관련성이 제기되었는데, 한국인 정신분열병에서도 이러한 관련성이 있는지를 살피기 위해 본 연구를 시행하였다. 방 법 : 정신분열병으로 진단된 환자군 103명과 성별 및 연령별로 1:1 짝짓기 대조군 사이에 유전자형과 대립유전자의 분포를 비교하였다. 또한, 환자군은 공격적 행동, 가족력, 아동기 발병 여부에 따라 두 군으로 나누어 비교하였다. DNA의 다형성 부의를 중합효소연쇄반응에 의해 증폭한 후 ,NlaⅢ제한효소법과 전기영동을 실시하여 유전자형을 판별하였다. 결 과 : 환자군 전체와 대조군 사이에 유전자형과 대립유전자 빈도의 차이가 없었다. 가족력이 있는 환자군을 대조군과 비교하였을 때는, 대립유전자 L을 포함하는 유전자형과 그렇지 않은 유전자형의 분포에 있어 유의한 차이를 보였다(p=0.02, OR=3.9, 95% Cl=1.1∼14.3). 결 론 : 한국인 정신분열병과 기능성 COMT 유전자 다형성 사이에 유의한 관련성이 없었다. 따라서, 기능성 COMT 유전자 다형성이 한국인 정신분열병의 발병에 영향을 주지 못한다. 그러나, 정신분열병 가족력과 기능성 COMT유전자 다형성의 관련성이 시시돠어, 향후 본 연구에서 나타난 방법론적인 문제점을 보완하고 추가 대상자를 확보한 연구가 필요하다. Objectives : Catechol-O-methyltransferase(COMT) is involved in the degradation of catecholamine meurotransmitters and has been investigated as a candidate gene in schizophrenia. Recently, possible relationship between functional COMT gene polymorphism and schizophrenia has been suggested. To address the possible role of functional COMT gene polymorphism in the predisposition to schizophrenia, we carried out an association study in Korean schizophrenic patients and controls. Methods : One hundred and three Korean inpatients diagnosed as schizophrenia and 103 age and sex matched controls were selected as study subjects. Patients were subgrouped into two groups on the basis of history of aggressive behavior, family history of schizophrenia and related disorders, and age at onset. We determined COMT genotypes using PCR of the relevant region followed by digestion with NlaⅢ and electrophoresis. Results : No significant differences of allele and genotype frequencies were noted between patients and controls. However, when patients were categorized by the presence of family history of schizophrenia and related disorders, patients with family history showed almost 4 fold higher frequency of having COMT L allele containing genotype compared to controls(p=0.02, OR=3.9, 9.5% CI=1.10-14.33). Conclusion : Although our results do not support an association between functional polymorphism of COMT gene and schizophrenia overall, the findings suggest an association between functional COMT gene polymorphism and familial schizophrenia. Further studies with large samples are needed to confirm this association.

        빌립복음서에 나타나는 여성 형상들에 대한 연구

        According to the guiding principle of gnostic thought, unity is life, and separation is death. Mostly this principle has been expressed by using sexual images in gnostic literature. Frequently, bi-sexuality, or sexual unity became the principle of life, on the other hand, division between two sexes, the principle of death. In this process, female figures were portrayed as active agents for separation and death. Therefore, in gnostic myths, although female figures such as Mary, and Eden are apparently acting leading roles, as a matter of fact, they carry out negative roles causing tragic events of the birth of the universe and the fall of human beings. This study attempts to clarify the functions of four female figures(Mary, Sophia, Spirit, and Eve) appearing in the gospel of Phillip in relation to the gnostic theology of the gospel as a whole. According to the gospel of Phillip, the division of the sexes is made out to be the woman’s(i.e. Eve’s) fault and is connected with the origin of mortality: “When Eve was still in Adam, there was no death. When she separated from him, death arose. When she enters him again and he takes her to himself, there shall be no death.” Death can be overcome by participating in the bridal chamber which is a ritual symbol of the unity of two sexes. Unification of two separated sexes can be accomplished by participating in the ritual of bridal chamber which is performed in this world. This study clarifies the characteristics of the female figures of the gospel of Phillip by analysing their meanings as tragic symbols of separation and death. Furthermore, it discovers the concrete meanings of bridal chamber as a ritual place of recovering unity in relation to the roles of female figures. Thus this study demonstrates the function of four female figures in the whole theological system of the gospel of Phillip.
