      • RAW264.7 세포에서 interferon-r 및 LPS에 의해 유도되는 NO생성에 미치는 TALT-35의 영향

        TALP-35 purified from human term placenta is known to increase microtubule polymerization and stabilize the polymerized microtubule. To examine the effect of TALP-35 on immune system this study was performed. MTT assay was performed to investigate the effect of TALP-35 on the proliferation of RAW264.7 cells. TALP-35 dose dependently suppress the proliferation of RAW264.7 cells at high concentration (above 1 μM) in unstimulated cells, in case of 10 μM TALP-35 treated cells the suppression was 25% but in stimulated cells it was only 15%. Cosedimentation assay was carried out to investigate whether TALP-35 can bind to tubulin of RAW264.7, monocyte/macrophage lineage of mouse, and polymerize it. TALP-35 polymerize the tubulin of RAW264.7 cells and sedimented in dose-dependent manner. To investigate the effect of TALP-35 on the expression of iNOS protein western blotting was performed. The expression level of iNOS was decreased dose dependently in high concentration of TALP-35 treatment. To examine the activity of iNOS, secreted NO was determined by method based on Griess reaction. Interferon-γ and LPS-stimulated production of NO from RAW264.7 cells was decreased dose dependently above 0.1 μM concentration of TALP-35 and 50% is decreased at 10μM of it. This study shows TALP-35 can control cytokine induced-iNOS expression therefore it might control inflammatory diseases.

      • 스넥코너에서 채취한 튀김기름의 신선도에 관하여

        대구 시내 전역에 산재해 있는 튀김 음식점과 스넥코너등에서 튀김중인 기름에 대한 변패도를 알아 보기 위해 여름철과 겨울철 두 계절에 또 튀김물의 종류별로 시료 186개를 채취하여 산가, 과산화물가, carbonyl가 및 TBA가를 측정한 결과는 아래와 같다. 1. 산가, 과산화물가, carbonyl가 및 TBA가는 각각 2.2, 47, 19, 0.7로 나타났다. 2. 여름철로가 겨울철을 비교해 본 결과는 산가, 과산화물가, carbonyl가는 여름철이 높았으나 TBA가는 두 계절이 비슷하였다. 3. 튀김물의 종류에 따른 기름의 변패도는 오뎅, 핫도그, 닭, 야채, 도나스 순으로 나타났다. In order to investigate the degree of changes in quality of frying oils to be used atsnack corners and street stalls in Taegu area. acid value (AV), peroxide value(POV), carbonyl value (COV), and TBA value were measured. 95 samples insummer and 91 samples in winter were collected from oils fried for fish cake, hotdogs,chicken, vegetable and doughnuts. The mean value of AV, POV and COV on the fryingoils collected in summer were higher than those in winter, while TBA value of oilsin summer ·was similar to that in winter. According to the kinds of fried food, thedegree of the change in quality of frying oil was high in order of fish cake, hotdog,chicken, vegetable ana doughnut.

        NIHSS 활용을 통한 뇌졸중 환자 간호의 질향상 전략

        문제: 뇌졸중 환자를 돌보는 간호현장에서는 급성기 뇌졸중 환자의 증상악화에 대한 조기사정과 적절한 대처가 매우 중요한 문제이다. 그러나 임상현장에서는 이를 객관화하고 수치화하여 모든 의료진이 의사소통할 수 있는 유용한 도구를 사용하고 있지는 못하는 실정이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기위해 NIHSS(National Institute of Health Stroke Scale)를 신경과 진료의사를 중심으로활용하고 있지만 아직 간호현장에서는보편적으로사용하지 않고있다. 이에 뇌졸중환자간호에 NIHSS를 활용하여 뇌졸중 증상악화의 조기사정과 빠른 대처로 궁극적으로는 뇌졸중환자 간호의 질을보다 향상시키기 위하여 본활동이 시도되었다. 목적: 첫째, 간호사의 NIHSS 측정 신뢰도의 현수준을 점검하고 이를향상시키기 위한 프로그램을 개발·적용한다. 둘째, 간호사가급성기 뇌졸중환자에게 NIHSS 측정을 통하여 뇌졸중악화를 얼마나 예측할 수 있는지 분석하고 이를 향상시킬수있는 방법을 모색한다. 셋째, 궁극적으로 급성기 뇌졸중 환자의 증상악화의 조기 발견과치료를위한의료진의 올바른 대처지침을 마련하여 이를 적용한다. 의료기관: 경기도에 소재한 대학병원의 뇌졸중 집중치료실 질 향상 활동: 첫째, 간호사의 NIHSS 측정 신뢰도 향상을 위해 「NIHSS 간호사 교육 프로그램」을 마련하였다.

        척추질환 입원환자의 연도별 변동추이에 대한 통계적 고찰

        Objectives : The aim of this study was to find the change in the number of inpatient with spine disease, data were reviewed on inpatients who was diagnosed as spine disease in the Kyung-hee Medical Center(KHMC) for 25 years(1980~2004). Methods : Analysis data of the number of spinal disease was based on the KHMC annual report for 25 years(1980~2004). Results : 1. The number of inpatient in KHMC with spine disease has been increasing during 25years from 1980 to 2004(p-value:0.000) 2. The number of inpatient in KHMC with ankylosing spodylitis(AS) is increasing during 25years from 1980 to 2004(p-value=0.000) 3. The number of inpatient in KHMC with spinal stenosis is increasing during 25years from 1980 to 2004(p-value=0.000) 4. The number of inpatient in KHMC with herniated nucleus pulposus of cervical spine(HNP of C-spine) is increasing during 25years from 1980 to 2004(p-value=0.000) 5. The number of inpatient in KHMC with herniated nucleus pulposus of Lumbar spine(HNP of L-spine) is increasing during 25years from 1980 to 2004 (p-value=0.007) Conclusions : It is suggesting that the number of patients of spinal stenosis and HNP of L-spine increase at KHMC.

      • 식품 기준·규격의 합리적 관리 ·운영에 관한 연구(Ⅰ) : 두부,식용유지, 전분의 분말상 원료에 관하여 Powdered marerials of Tofu, Edible oil, Starch

        본 연구는 분말상 원료(전분, 대두분)의 저장유통시 품질변화를 건전성과 안전성 측면에서 검토하여 식품의 기준 ·규격 설정f.」 합지적으로 반영하고자 하였다. 전분과 패두분의 이물을 검사하고, 2종 대두분(중국산, 미국산)을 ?0일간 IS'c와 30t에 저장하면서 성상, 수분, 산가, 과산화물가, 지방산 조성,아플라톡신 BB의 생성여부를 분석하였다. 중국산 대두분 30'』 저장군에서 50일 이후 곰팡이가 발생한 것 이외에 모든 시료에서 양호한 성상을 나타내었고, 전분과 대두닥 모든 시료에서 이물은 검출되지 않았다. 산가는 중국산과 미국산 시료간에 편차를 보여 증국산 30"C, 50일 저장시료에서 약 10배끙도 증가하였고, 과산화물가는 저장 90일후 15'E 저장군은 약 2.3배, 30'c 저장군은 3배정도 증가하였다. 대두분의 주요 지방산은 linoleic acidf18. 2), oleic acid(18 : 1), palmitic acid(16 : 0)이었으며, 3개월 저장에 따른 지방산 함량의 변화는 미미하였다. 아플라톡신 B₁은 모든 시료에서 검출되지 않았다. The objective of this study was to investigate auality changes of type raw materials(starch, soy flour) during various storage conditions. Starchflour(source of China, U.S.A) were slfred under two temperature(15'C, 30'c) forSensory evaluation, (o.reign material test, moisture content, acid value, peroxide ualue,composition, aflatorin Bi were analyzed. China soy flour(stor·ed 30'f) was contaminated by fungj on 50 days. Except for soy flour contardnated by fungi, sensory characteristics were not changed and foreign mater;als were notdetected. Acid value of China soy flour(stored at 30'C, 90 days) was about 10 times higherlevel before storage and acid value was more influenced by source(China, USA). Peroxide valuewas in proportion with the storage period slightly. The major fatty acid of soy flour waslinoleic acid(18 . 2), an(3 the change of fatty acid composition was not observed. Aflatoxlrl Blwas not detected.

        Algal bioassay 에 의한 조류생장 제한영양염류 결정

        Determination of Limiting Nutrient for Algal Growth by Algal Bioassay. Oh, Hee-Mock, Seog June Lee, Seong-Bin Kim, Mi- Kyung Park, Byung-Dae Yoon and Do-Han Kim (Environmental Microbiology Research Unit, Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology, Taejon 305-333, Korea and Water Resources Research Institute, Korea Water Resources Corporation, Taejon 305-390, Korea) Water quaiity and algal growth potential (AGP) using Microcystis aeruginosa were investigated from April to September 1997 in Daechung Reservoir. Secchi disk transparency was 1.1 m in August. Chlorophyll-a concentrations were higher than 10㎍/l at all samples. Total phosphorus concentration was in a range of 0.020∼0.027mg/l which is at the approximate value of 0.03 mg/l, the general critical level of eutrophication. These results indicate that Daechung Reservoir is in an eutrophic state except some temporary times and restricted sites. Phosphorus uptake rate of M. aeruginosa was higher in the water from the epilimnion than in the hypolimnion and also higher under light condition than under dark condition. Therefore, phosphorus uptake rate appears to depend on cellular phosphorous content and light condition, a meaning of endergonic process. Phosphorus was the most frequently limiting nutrient: phosphorus was limiting algal gowth in April and May, nitrogen, phosphorus and trace elements were the limiting factors for algae in August, and trace elements in September. If a fast growing alga, M, aeruginosa, is used as a test organism for assaying AGP, in vivo fluorescence instead of dry weight can be measured for algal biomass and incubation period can be reduced from traditional 14 days to 7 days.

        영아기 자녀의 발달 수준에 대한 어머니의 지식정확도

        본 연구는 현재 0~36개월 영아를 양육하고 있는 어머니를 대상으로 0~36개월 영아의 발달 수준에 대한 지식의 정확도를 알아보고 영아 및 어머니의 배경변인에 따른 어머니의 지식 정확도의 차이를 살펴보는 것이다. 연구대상은 전라북도에 거주하는 생후 36개월 이하 영아의 어머니 218명이다. 영아기 자녀의 발달 수준에 대한 어머니의 지식 정확도를 알아보기 위하여 이영석(1998)이 만 2세 이하 영아의 발달수준 조사를 위해 제작한 도구를 사용하였다. 연구 결과 현재 양육하는 영아기 자녀의 발달 수준에 대한 어머니의 지식정확도는 전체와 하위영역 모두에서 50% 내외의 정답율을 보여 낮은 수준의 정확도를 나타냈으며, 1세아 어머니의 경우 0세아와 2세아 어머니에 비해 특히 낮은 지식정확도를 보였다. 또한 영아 및 어머니의 배경변인에 따른 발달 수준에 대한 어머니의 지식 정확도는 차이가 있었다. 즉 0세 어머니의 경우 영아의 출생순위, 어머니의 연령에 따라, 1세아 어머니들은 영아의 성, 어머니의 연령과 학력에 따라, 2세아 어머니의 경우 어머니의 학력에 따라 영아기 자녀의 발달수준 대한 지식정확도에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the mother's accuracy on the knowledge of infant's developmental levels and analyze the differences according to infant gender, birth order, mother's age, education level, and job. The questions for this research are as follows : 1. What is the accuracy of the knowledge of mothers about their infant's developmental levels according to their infant's age? 2. What is difference in accuracy of the knowledge of mothers about their infant's developmental levels according to infant gender, birth order, mother's age, education level, and job? The subject of this study were 218 mothers with infants aged from 0 to 36 months at J and I city in Jeonbuk. The instrument of this study is "The rating scale of knowledge of infant's developmental levels" of Young-suk, Lee(1998). The collected data has been analyzed by mean, SD, percentage, t-test and F-test with SPSS/PC 11.0 Program. The results of this study are summarized as follows : 1. The accuracy of the knowledge of mothers' with their infant's developmental levels is low. Specially, the accuracy of the knowledge of mothers with a 1 year old infant is very low 2. There are differences in the mothers' accuracy of the knowledge about their infant's developmental levels according to infant gender, birth order, mother's age, education level, and job. In the cases of 0 year old infants the mother's accuracy of knowledge showed a difference according to the infant's gender, mother's age, education level, and job. In the case of 1 year old infants the infant birth order, mother's age, and for the 2 year old infant the mother's education level affected the mothers' accuracy of knowledge.

        축구선수의 Detraining과 Retraining이 혈청지질 및 호르몬농도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of detraining and retraining on serum lipid and hormones in soccer players. Subjects were seven male high-school soccer players. V˙O_2max was determined for each subjects by administering a treadmill test(initial speed: 90m/min, grade: 5%, increasing speed per 3 min: 30m/min). Serum lipid(T-C, TG, HDL-C LDL-C) and hormones(epinephrine, norepinephrine, growth hormones, cortisol) were assayed pre and post detraining in 10, 20, 30 days after retraining. The repeated ANOVA was used to determine significant differences. The 0.05 level of significance was as critical level for the study. The results of the study were as follows: 1. V˙O_2max(ml/min) were 3576.3±204.2ml/min pre detraining, 3234.1±198.9 ml/min post detraining. There are significant(p<.05) difference between pre and post detraining. In 10, 20, 30 days after retraining, V˙O_2max(ml/min) were 3601.4±170.9 ml/min. There were significantly(p<.05) increased in retraining periods. 2. V˙O_2max(ml/kg/min) were significantly(p<.05) decreased from 62.3±2.9 ml/kg/min to 55.9±4.7 ml/kg/min in detraining. In 10, 20, 30 days after retraining, V˙O_2max(ml/kg/min) were 62.4±3.4ml/kg/min, 62.7±2.3ml.kg/min, 67.3±7.2ml/kg/min respectively. There were significantly(p<.05) increased in retraining periods. 3. T-C were significantly (p<.05) increased from 166.6±8.5mg/dl to 175.3±10.3 mg/dl in detraining. In 10, 20, 30 days after retraining, T-C were 160.1± 3.2mg/dl, 156.7±3.7mg/dl, 140.3±9.0mg/dl. There were significantly(p<.05) decreased in retraining periods. 4. HDL-C were 61.4±6.6mg/di pre detraining, 5.3±6.6mg/dl post detraining. There are significant(p<.05) difference between pre and post detraining. In 10, 20, 30 days after retraining, HDL-C were 56.9±7.1mg/dl, 56.4±9.2mg/dl, 57.7±9.1mg/dl respectively. There were no significant difference in retraining periods. 5. The hormones(epinephrine. norepinephrine, growth hormone, cortisol) were changed as same patterns. Epinephrine were 26.0±7.0[g/ml pre detraining, 24.6±3.2pg/ml post detraining. In 10, 20, 30 days after retraining, epinephrine were 26.9±5.6pg/ml, 30.6±6.2pg/ml, 29.4±5.6pg/ml respectively. There were no significant difference in retraining periods. In conclusion, HDL-C, epinephrine, norepinephrine, growth hormone and cortisol were decreased, T-C, LDL-C and TG were increased in detraining. But HDL-C, epinephrine, norepinephrine, growth hormone and cortisol were increased, T-C, LDL-C and TG were decreased in retraining.

      • Fluctuations in Abundance and Species Composition of Fishes that appear in the set net fishery in the Dadohae Marine National Park

        In a joint research of the Korean Biodiversity Information Facility (KBIF), the study analyzed species composition and fluctuations in abundance of fishes caught by the set net fishery installed in the offing of Impo, Dolsando in Yeosu-si, Jeollanamdo in June and September 2008. During the study period, there were 11,180 individuals of 54 species of 39 families in 8 orders that appeared in the set net fishery in the offing of the Dadohae Marine National Park. The numbers of individuals that appeared in June and September were shown in Table 2. Among the fishes caught, the Perciformes was the dominant species with 29 species of 22 families followed by the Tetraodontiformes with 6 species of 2 families and the Pleuronectiforme with 5 species of 4 families. There appeared 3 species of 3 families of the Anguilliformes and the Beloniformes, respectively. There were 4 species of 2 families of the Clupeiformes and 3 species of 2 families of the Scorpaeniformes. There was 1 species of 1 family of the Aulopiformes. During the study period, Scomber japonicus was the dominant species with 9005 individuals followed by Trichiurus lepturus with 1500 individuals and Panpus argenteus with 184 individuals. In June, Trichiurus lepturus was dominant with 1200 individuals followed by Panpus argenteus with 150 individuals and Scomberomorus koreanus with 58 individuals. In October, Scomber japonicus was the dominant species with 9000 individuals followed by Trichiurus lepturus with 300 individuals and Scomberomorus koreanus with 45 individuals. It indicates that the dominance of a species has close relationship with water temperature because fishes migrate to feed in this season. Given the frequency of appearance, Scomber japonicus and Trichiurus lepturus most frequently appeared because they were in the middle of growing into adult fishes while the frequent appearance of Scomberomorus koreanus and Panpus argenteus, which were major species of the fishing industry, contributed to the income of fishermen. There appeared rarely seen species in the offing of Yeosu like Pelamis platurus, Rachycentron canadum (Linnaeus), Lobotes surinamensis, Kyphosus vaigiensis, Abudefduf vaigiensis and Siganus fuscescens (Houttuyn). They are subtropical fishes and seem to move here due to the warmer water affected by the global warming. Additional studies on species composition and fluctuations in abundance of fishes that appear in the set net fishery in the Dadohae Marine National Park will be continuously conducted. So, they will contribute to the increase of fishermen's income by transferring the new fish species to fishermen when newly developed rare fish species are fostered in the lab and evaluated for adaptability and growth potential. The research result will be used as basic data to secure national biological resources, and create/manage biodiversity data by building a biodiversity database network.

        This study was designed to exam the aged's needs for spiritual nursing care. The purpose was to serve as a basis for the development of spiritual nursing practice. The major findings are as follows : 1. The degree of needs for spiritual nursing care as area was that needs of love and relationship mean 22.0, needs of meaning and object mean 28.2, needs of forgiving mean 13.5. Total needs for spiritual nursing care mean 63.7, which was on the upper middle level. The needs of meaning and object was rated highest. 2. Among the general characteristics of the subjects, needs of love and relatiohship wasn't significanlty different. 3. Among the general characteristics of the subjects, needs of meaning and object was significantly different according to two factors : age(F=7.260, p=0.001), religion(F=5.275, p=0.001). Higher needs of meaning and object was possessed by the older than the younger, by the one who have religion than the other. 4. Among the general characteristics of the subjects, four factors made a significantly difference to needs of forgiving : sex(t=-2.851, p=0.006), age(F=8.201, p=0.001), religion(F=6.928, p=0.000), disease(t=2.327, p=0.024). Higher needs of forgiving was possessed by man than woman, by the older than the younger, by the one who have religion than the other, by the one who have disease than the other.
