        개에서 이중 결찰법을 통한 동맥관 개존증의 완치 예

        A ten months old, female Yorkshire terrier weighing 2.88 kg referred to veterinary teaching hospital of college of veterinary medicine, Konkuk University because of syncope, cough and dyspnea. First hematological and serum chemical test revealed thrombocytopenia, mild anemia, and increase of concentration of ALP (195 U/L). On 57 days later, second hematological and serum chemical test revealed polycythemia, increase of concentration of ALP (211 U/L), and Tchol (387 mg/dl). Right atrium enlargement, main pulmonary artery bulge and cardiomegaly (VHS = 11.5) were observed in radiographic findings. Ultrasonographic images showed both right and left ventricular dilation and turbulent flow between the descending aorta and the main pulmonary artery in color Doppler imaging. ECG showed left ventricular enlargement, SA block, and electrical alternant. Thoracotomy was performed through left fourth intercostal incision under isoflurane anesthesia. Patent ductus arteriosus was double ligated with 1-0 silk. Cough and dyspnea disappeared on 5 days after operation. Turbulent flow was not found in color doppler imaging of ultrasonography on 10 days after operation. Ten months later after the operation, syncope could not exist any more.

        This study considered organic matter decomposition by ocenic microbes as researching organic matter decomposition on kinetics which is in salinity wastewater under condition that the salinity contains 18,000㎎/l Cℓ^(-) The results of this study are obtained as following : 1. Oceanic microbe of this study is yeast, R. glutinis var. salinaria of marina of Rhodotorula genuses. 2. When retention time of filter bed in Bio-coal tower is 24 hr, 1/2V_(max) is 33.75㎎/l·hr, When 72hr, 1/2V_(max) is 15㎎/l·hr, When 120hr, 1/2V_(max) is 10㎎/l·hr. 3. The reaction between oceanic microbes and organic matter is said to be first order and when contact time of filter bed is 2.0hr, k is 0.40 day^(-1).

      • 얇은 막대 배치를 위한 로봇 비젼제어기법의 응용

        This study is concentrated on the development of real-time estimation model and vision control method as well as the experimental test. The proposed method permits a kind of adaptability not otherwise available in that the relationship between the camera-space location of manipulable visual cues and the vector of manipulator joint coordinates is estimated in real time. This is done based on a estimation model that generalizes known manipulator kinematics to accomodate unknown relative camera position and orientation as well as uncertainty of manipulator. Both large-scale trajectory planning and refined placement precision become possible despite an unknown and/or slowly-changing camera-manipulator juxtaposition. Thus, evidence of the ability of manipulator's vision control method, based on the estimation model and vision control method developed in this paper, is provided by performing the thin-rod placement in space with 2 cues test model which is completed without a prior knowledge of camera or manipulator positions. This feature opens the door to a range of applications of manipulation, including a mobile manipulator with stationary cameras tracking and providing information for control of the manipulator event. It also entails an examination of the limits of placement precision using the presented computer vision system.

      • Ocular MALT Lymphoma : Report of Two Cases

        Lymphoma arising in mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue(MALT) is extranodal marginal zone lymphoma displaying a proliferation of follicle marginal zone-type cells(centrocyte-like cells or monocytoid B-cells), often with surrounding reactive germinal centers and lympoepithelial lesions. This typically expresses pan-B-cell markers and monotypic immunoglobulin but not CD5 or CD10. Ocular MALT consists of the lacrimal gland, lcular soft tissue, orbit, conjunctiva and cornea. Lymphoma arising in thses sites is of very rare occurrence in up to 1.5% of all patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Herein we report two cases of ocular MALT lymphoma which was very rare in the dermatologic field. Case 1, 73-year-old man, developed the right upper conjunctival swelling measuring about 2.0×2.5cm for about 1 year. Histologically, the excised lesion showed follicular centers and infiltration of centrocyte-like cells of B-cell lineage in the stroma but no lymphoepithelial lesions, consistent with low-grade B-cell lymphoma. Case 2, a 66-year-old female, had a rapid course of about 1.2×1.0cm-sized, soft, wellow mass arising from lacrimal gland of the right upper eyelid for about 1 month. Hostologically, the lesion showed diffuse patterend features admixed with centrocyte-like cells and large cells such as centroblast, compatible with high-grade lymphoma. Case 2 received combined chemotherapy of m-BACOD, with a somewhat improvement.

      • 뇌손상 후 운동신경기능 회복 기전 : 기능적 뇌 자기공명영상의 유용성 The Usefulness of fMRI Study

        목적: 본 연구는 뇌손상환자에서 기능적 뇌 자기공명영상(functional magnetic resonance imaging, fMRI)을 이용한 대뇌운동피질 뇌지도화를 시행하여, 운동신경기능 회복 기전에 대한 기능적 뇌 자기공명영상의 유용성에 대하여 연구하였다. 방법: 신경학적 증상과 병력이 없는 성인 8명과 뇌손상환자 5인을 대상으로 하였다. 뇌손상환자 중 2명은 뇌종양환자이었으며 1명은 뇌출혈, 1명은 뇌경색, 1명은 뇌낭미충증환자이었다. 기능적 자기공명영상은 1.5T MR scanner로 Blood Oxygen Level-Dependent(BOLD) 기법을 적용하였다. 운동과제는 손가락을 1-2Hz의 주기로 쥐었다 펴기를 반복하도록 하였다. 결과: fMRI를 촬영한 결과 정상인 8인, 즉 총 16개의 손중 15개의 손과 환자 5인의 이환되지 않은 손운동시 반대측 일차 운동피질 꼭지(knob)를 중심으로 일차 감각운동피질(SM1)이 활성화되었다. 정상인 중 1인의 한 손에서 반대측 SM1과 동측 일차 운동피질(primary motor cortex, M1) 및 보조운동영역이 동시에 활성화되었다. 뇌손상환자의 이환측 손운동시 환자 1에서는 일차감각피질(primary sensory cortex, S1), 환자 2와 환자 3에서는 양측 SM1, 환자 4와 환자 5에서는 반대측 SM1이 활성화되었다. 환자 1에서는 손상된 M1의 운동신경기능이 S1으로 이전된 것으로 추정되며, 환자 4와 5에서는 손의 운동신경기능이 피질척수로에 의하여 유지되고 있는 것으로 추정되었다. 그러나 환자 2와 환자 3에서 발견된 동측 운동피질 활성화는 본래 정상적으로 존재하던 운동신경 경로인지 뇌손상 후에 발생한 운동신경기능 회복 경로인지 구분할 수는 없었다. 결론: fMRI을 통한 대뇌 운동피질 지도화는 뇌손상 후 병변 주위로의 재조직되는 회복 기전과 피질척수로에 의해 운동신경기능이 유지되고 있음을 입증하는데에 유용할 것으로 생각된다. Objective: This study investigated the usefulness of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) in the research of motor recovery mechanisms in brain injured patients. Method: Eight control subjects and five brain injured patients were investigated. Out of five patients, two were with brain tumor, one cerebral hemorrhage, one cerebral infarction, and one neurocysticercosis. fMRI was performed using the blood oxygen level-dependent (BOLD) technique at 1.5 TMR scanner with a standard head coil. The motor activation task consisted of finger flexion-extension exercises in 1-2 Hz cycles. Results: fMRI showed activation of the contralateral primary sensori-motor cortex(SM1) by the hand movements of all control subjects and by the unaffected hand movements of all brain-injured patients. Activation of the supplementary motor area(SMA) by one hand movement was also seen in one control subject. Hand movements of the affected hand of the brain injured patients resulted in activation of the contralateral primary sensory cortex(S1) in patient 1, both SM1 in patients 2 and 3, and the contralateral SM1 in patients 4 and 5. Conclusions: It is concluded that fMRI is useful for the research of perilesional reorganization and sparing of the corticospinal tract during the motor recovery mechanisms after brain injury.

      • 급성 호흡곤란 증후군으로 발현된 폐결핵 1례

        Pulmonary tuberculosis as a cause of the acute respiratory distress syndrome is quite rare. The diagnosis of acute respiratory distress syndrome due to pulmonary tuberculosis is difficult because of the diversity of radiological patterns. The ability to identify patients at risk for the acute respiratory distress syndrome is important if therapies are to be developed to prevent the disorder. We experienced a young female compliants with mild fever, dyspnea who diagnosed pulmonary tuberculosis 1 months ago. She stoped anti-tuberculosis medication 2 day because confirmation of drug fever and after then sudden aggravated dyspnea. The clinical course of this case is similar with presentaion of ARDS. We started antituberculosis medication with steroid, which result in good prognosis.

        The object of this this research shall be providing the basic data that TAE-KWON-DO can be contributed in an infant education as our nationalsport by studying how T.K.D training contributes to the behavoiral development of infants. This survey researches into the inspection of behavioral development in infants who are training T.K.D at pre - school.         사고사례에 기초한 보일러 사고의 원인분석 및 대책

        An accident involving a boiler can result in a disaster since it handles high-pressurized steam so that it may cause an explosion. Therefore, the boiler is very susceptible to industrial accidents. This thesis aimed to develop counter-plans to prevent industrial accidents involved the boiler. At first, after collecting accident cases involving boilers, a survey on the trait of them was carried out. And, on the other hand, a qualitative analysis was conducted to draw out hazardous components in the boiler itself, and their inherent relative importance was assessed. Through this procedure, 'negligence of unsafe condition' was noted as the major cause for unsafe acts, whereas 'fault in work procedure' for unsafe condition. In the meanwhile, results of a hazard analysis using FMEA technique ranked gas safety devices, a switch preventing gas from under-pressurization, protect relays high. In particular, it was pointed out that the water feeding and steam subsystem has more components in hazard than other subsystems. Considering these analyses results, counter-plans to improve safety management was suggested also.

      • 電磁式 유량제어밸브에 관한 연구

        In this study, it is analyzed that an electromagnet whose generating force is proportional to constant current through coil in its operating range. To find arelation between magnetic force and the structure in electromagnet, computer simulation method is used by permeance modeling method. When the electromagnet is applied to flow control valve, the relation between input current and flow is found. In order to get a reliability of computer simulation, the simulation results are compared to the experimental result. As the simulation is processed repeatedly, it is found that the gap size between plunger and guide steel and the length of tapered brass ring are important factors in electromagnet.
