        2-Alkoxy-4-acetamidobenzthioamide was synthesized by reaction of hydrogen sulfide with 2-alkoxy-4-acetamidobenzonitrile which was dehydrated from 2-alkoxy-4-acetamidobenzamide by thionyl chloride or phosphorus pentoxide. 2-Alkoxy-4-acetamidobenzthioamide was obtained by hydrolysis of 2-Alkoxy-4-acetamidobenzthioamide with 10% hydrochloric acid solution.

        주요우울증에 대한 벤라팍신의 효과 및 안전성

        연구목적 : 주요우울증 환자에서 벤라팍신의 치료 효과와 안정성을 조사하기 위해 다기관 개방연구를 시행하였다. 방 법 : DSM-IV 진단 기준에 의거하여 주요우울증으로 진단된 환자중 벤라팍신 투여에 동의한 환자를 대상으로 하였다. 선택된 환자에서 다른 항우울제를 복용하고 있는 경우 14일 이상의 약물 배설기간을 가진후 벤라팍신을 6주간 투여하였으며, 기준점, 1주, 2주, 4주, 6주 후에 HAM-D, MADRS, 그리고 CGI등을 사용하여 평가하였다. 본 연구기간중 발생된 모든 부작용은 부작용의 발생 및 소설 시기, 심한 정도, 발생 빈도, 벤라팍신과의 관련성, 관련 조치 및 결과에 대하여 증례기록서에 기록하도록 하였다. 결 과 : 총 141명을 대상으로 하였으며, 이중 94명(66.7%)이 6주간의 연구를 완결하였고, 47명(33.3%)이 중도탈락하였다. HAM-D총점수는 벤라팍신 투여 1주후부터 유의한 감소를 나타내었으며, 2주,4주, 6주후에도 지속적인 감소를 보였다. MADRS의 총점수도벤라팍신 투여 1주 후부터 유의한 호전을 나타내었으며, 2주, 4주, 6주 후에도 지속적인 감소를 보였다. CGI에서도 기준점, 1주, 2주, 4주, 6주 후 각각의 시점 사이에 유의한 호전이 보였다. 활력징후, 일반 혈액학, 생화학, 심전도 검사 등에서 유의한 변화는 없었다. 벤라팍신과 관련된 부작용으로 흔히 보고한 증상은 오심(10.6%), 소화불량(9.5%), 변비(8.5%), 현기증(8.5%)등 이었다. 결 론 : 다기관 개방연구를 통해 주요우울증 환자에 대한 벤라팍신의 투여는 우울증상의 호전에 효과적이었으며 안전하였다. Objective : A Multicenter open-label study was conducted to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of venlafaxine for the tretment in patients with major depression. Method : The study was done in patients with major depression diagnosed by DSM-IV who accepted venlafaxine medication. In cases of the patients taking other antidepressants, 6 weeks of venlafaxine medication was carried out after 14 days of drug excretion period and evaluation using HAM-D, MADRS, and CGI was done at baseline, and after 1, 2, 4, and 6 weeks. Regarding all side effects that had occurred during the period of our study such as their developed/disappeared time, severities, incidences, relationship with venlafaxine, managements and results have been putted into the records. Results : A total of 141 patients were enrolled. Among 94 of them finished the 6 weeks of research and 41 of them did not make it through the research. Total HAM-D scores showed significant decrease after 1 week of venlafzxine medication and continous decrease through the study period. Total scores of MADRS also showed significant improvement after 1 week and continuous decrease through the study period. Similarly, CGI showed significant improvement between baseline, 1, 2, 4, and 6 weeks. There were no significant changes in vital sign, CBC, chemistry, and EKG. The commonly reported side effects of venlafaxine were nausea(10.6%), indigestion(9.5%), constipation(8.5%), and dizziness(8.5%). Conclusion : According to the results, venlafaxine was effective and safe in the treatment of patients with major depression.

      • DNA Chip 용 마이크로 핀에 관한 연구

        The bio-micro pin has been usually used for the biochemistry analysis. The manufacturing capability of the micro-pin and the their array with the effective and low-cost way is very important and it gives great economical benefits to developers. The micro-pin is composed of the sample channel for holding the liquid with the fixed volume, the flat tip which determines the printing quality and the pin head for preventing the rotation of the pin in the holder. In this study, we have manufactured newly designed micro-pins by the wire-EDM process with special jigs, and analyzed liquid holding and printing characteristics with respect to the variation of the shape and the tip size of the micro-pin.

      • 세자리 Schiff base Cobalt(Ⅱ)와 Nickel(Ⅱ) 착물들의 합성과 전기화학적 성질

        Co(Ⅱ) and Ni(Ⅱ) complexes containing tridentate Schiff base ligand SOIPH [salicylidene-o-iminopyridine] derived from salicylaldehyde with 2-aminopyridine were synthesized. These complexes were characterized 표 elemental analysis, thermogravimetric analysis(T.G.A.), solution conductivity, and IR and UV-visible spectra. It was found that Co(Ⅱ) and Ni(Ⅱ) complexes had a 2 : 1 Schiff base ligand to metal(Ⅱ) ratio and were octahedral configuration. The redox processes of these complexes in DMF and DMSO containing 0.1M TEAP as supporting electrolyte were investigated at glassy carbon electrode by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and at HMDE(hanging mercury drop electrode) by differential pulse polarographic (DPP) technique. Reduction of Co(Ⅱ) complex was two steps, whereas Ni(Ⅱ) complex was one step. Reduction of these complexes observed as one electron process irreversibly and diffusion- controlly. Reduction of the Co(Ⅱ) complex was observed positive potential than Ni(Ⅱ) complex.

        The effect of low-intensity ultrasonography on dislocation of the patella and fracture healing is controversial, and current management of that does not generally involve the use of ultrasound therapy. Nine patients with dislocation of the patella were treated with low-intensity ultrasonography(l5 mW/㎠, 1∼3.3 MHz) per 10-15 min/days, with an interval of 3 days during the last 3 weeks, at Family Animal Hospital(in Kunsan city). Ultrasound therapy may be beneficial to dislocation of the patella and healing. This finding is of considerable importance in that treatment with a low-intensity pulsed ultrasound signal may reduce healing time and could yield substantial cost savings and decreases in disability associated with delayed healing of dislocation of the patella.

        자동차 공조용 핀형 열교환기의 성능특성에 관한 연구

        Fin-tube type(Fin-type) heat exchanger has been tested in order to replace the heat exchanger of parallel flow type(P.F-type) which is now widly used in automobile air conditioning system. The following conclusions are drawn by the comparison of the characteristics of the heat exchangers. Evaporator and condenser capacities and COP(Coefficience of performance) were varied as with the compressor speed, outdoor air temperature and air flow rate changed, which much influenced on the characteristics of the air conditioning system. Evaporator and condenser capacities were increased with increasing compressor speed and outdoor air temperature. Evaporator and condenser pressures of Fin- type were decreased by 7% and 5% respectively compared with those of P.F-type. The COP of Fin-type was decreased with increasing outdoor air temperature and compressor speed. The COP of P.F-type was decreased by 14% compared with that of Fin-type.

      • 리튬이 도핑된 막을 이용한 실리콘-실리콘 접합

        Silicon-to-silicon anodic bonding was accomplished using lithium doped interlayer. Lithium doped interlayers were deposited on silicon substrates by electron beam evaporation, which has a fast deposition rate compared with sputtering method. Silicon-to-silicon bonding occurs in the range of temperatures from 250℃ to 300℃ with the applied voltages from 70V_(DC) to 100V_(DC). The bonding strength obtained from tensile test was about 5MPa under the condition of 80V_(DC) in 300℃. The surface morphology of lithium doped interlayer was studied with the atomic force microscopy (AFM). Finally, secondary ion mass spectroscopy (SIMS) analysis was carried out in order to investigate the role of the lithium ions in bonding mechanism.

In particular, the ECL intensities of [Ru(DTDP)(<I>o</I>-phen)<SUB>2</SUB>]<SUP>2+</SUP> and [Ru(DTDP)(bpy-(CHO)<SUB>2</SUB>)<SUB>2</SUB>]<SUP>2+</SUP> were observed to be as high as 9-fold and 20-fold greater, respectively, than the ECL intensity of [Ru(<I>o</I>-phen)<SUB>3</SUB>]<SUP>2+</SUP>.</P>
