Objectives : The aim of this study was to examine the behavioral and emotional problems associated with nocturnal enuresis in Korean children. Methods : Three hundred eighteen children with nocturnal enuresis, together with their parents, completed the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), Disruptive Behavior Disorder Scale according to DSM-IV (DBDS), Children's Depression Inventory (CDI), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children (STAIC), and Piers-Harris Children's Self-Concept Scale (PHCSC). Ninety-three normal students were selected as the control group. Results : Compared to the normal control group, the mean scores with regard to the withdrawn, social problems, attention problems, delinquent behavior, aggressive behavior, externalizing problems and total problems profiles were significantly higher in the nocturnal enuresis group according to the CBCL results. The nocturnal enuresis group also scored significantly higher in the ADHD and ODD profiles of the DBDS. The nocturnal enuresis group was more depressed and anxious than the control group according to the results of the CDI and STAI. The mean score of the PHCSC was significantly lower in the nocturnal enuresis group when compared to the normal control group. Conclusion : The results of this study suggest that children with nocturnal enuresis in Korea have clinically relevant behavioral and emotional problems. The findings support the link between nocturnal enuresis and psychopathology in Korean children.
오감각적 자극과 감성 브랜드 프로모션 공간 연출 디자인에 관한 연구 -마임 건강식품 알로주스 프로모션 연출을 중심으로-

본 연구는 최근 감성중심의 디자인 환경에서 화두되고 있는 ‘오감’을 활용하여 브랜드 프로모션 공간을 연출하는 일련의 프로세스를 제안하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구 범위는 2017년 3월~6월 15주간 숙명여대 환경디자인학과 <융합연출디자인> 수업에서 진행된 수업의 결과물로서 4개 팀 중 1개 팀의 작업물이다. 연구방법은 오감에 대한 문헌 연구와 융합연출 디자인 조사 정리한 사례 연구로 한다. 그 결과 본 연구는 산업체 <마임>과 연계하여 오감을 융합하는 쇼케이스 프로젝트부터 실제 브랜드 프로모션 공간 연출에 이르기까지 건강식품에 대한 브랜드의 일관성과 감성, 스토리성을 제시하였다. 끝으로 본 연구는 오감 을 활용한 공간 연출 디자인으로, 브랜드와 실질적으로 융합하여 브랜드를 프로모션함에 있어서 감성적인 접근방안을 제시 한 것에 의의가 있다. 또한 향후 본 연구는 이와 관련된 공감각, 오감을 담은 브랜드커뮤니케이션 디자인과 브랜드이미지, 브랜드 공간 연출개발에 있어서 기초 자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

The capital evaluation theory through the theoretical approach of Neo-classicists has been developed arond MM theory, CAPM, APT and OPM. CAPM estimates the assets by examining the condition of balance in the capital market and market portfolio. CAPM however can not solve the problem of normal distribution of various changes in the assets income and that of the secomd effect function in the preferance of economic subject. Therefore, it has been essentical to justify CAPM theoredtically and practically. APT has been deviced to overcome these difficulties. This study will examine two types of theortical development of ROSS's basic model. The purpose of this study is to clarify the theortical structure of APT, especially through the viewpoint of decision and balance.

<P>The mammalian cytoplasmic multi-tRNA synthetase complex (MSC) is a depot system that regulates non-translational cellular functions. Here we found that the MSC component glutamyl-prolyl-tRNA synthetase (EPRS) switched its function following viral infection and exhibited potent antiviral activity. Infection-specific phosphorylation of EPRS at Ser990 induced its dissociation from the MSC, after which it was guided to the antiviral signaling pathway, where it interacted with PCBP2, a negative regulator of mitochondrial antiviral signaling protein (MAVS) that is critical for antiviral immunity. This interaction blocked PCBP2-mediated ubiquitination of MAVS and ultimately suppressed viral replication. EPRS-haploid (Eprs(+/-)) mice showed enhanced viremia and inflammation and delayed viral clearance. This stimulus-inducible activation of MAVS by EPRS suggests an unexpected role for the MSC as a regulator of immune responses to viral infection.</P>

<P><I>Aims</I>. The aims of this study were (1) to determine the reference values for impulse oscillometry (IOS) and (2) to apply them to the evaluation of asthma in the general population of young Korean children. <I>Methods</I>. We performed a questionnaire survey and IOS measurements in 390 children aged 3-7 years in Seoul and Gyeonggi province, Korea, from July to August 2010. IOS measurements included respiratory resistance (Rrs) and respiratory reactance (Xrs) at 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 35 Hz, respiratory impedance (Zrs), and resonance frequency (RF) before and 15 min after inhalation of 200 μg salbutamol. To determine the reference values for IOS, 161 children defined as healthy controls were assessed. <I>Results</I>. The IOS measurements were presented as means and standard deviations. The reference equations for IOS variables were determined by multiple linear regression analysis taking into account their height, weight, and age (R5 = 2.242 - 0.008 × height (cm) - 0.005 × age (months), coefficients of determination (<I>R</I><SUP>2</SUP>) = 0.213). Height had the greatest correlation with IOS variables, similar to previous studies. Positive airway obstruction was defined as R5 greater than the 95th percentile of predicted R5 from the reference equation. There was a higher percentage of children with positive airway obstruction in children with asthma than in healthy controls (27.3% vs. 6.2%). Multivariate logistic regression analysis indicated that positive airway obstruction was a significant risk factor for the diagnosis of asthma (adjusted odds ratio (aOR), 6.245; 95% confidence interval (CI), 2.270-17.175). <I>Conclusion</I>. This study provided reference values for IOS in young Korean children and applied the reference values to evaluate children with asthma. We suggest the 95th percentile of predicted R5 as a cut-off value for positive airway obstruction, which may increase the risk for diagnosis of asthma.</P>

<B>Abstract</B><P>Brief treatment with transforming growth factor (TGF)-β1 stimulated the migration of macrophages, whereas long-term exposure decreased their migration. Cell migration stimulated by TGF-β1 was markedly inhibited by 10 μg/mL Tat-C3 exoenzyme. TGF-β1 increased mRNA and protein levels of macrophage inflammatory protein (MIP)-1α in the initial period, and these effects also were inhibited by 10 μg/mL Tat-C3 and a dominant-negative (DN)-RhoA (N19RhoA). Cycloheximide, actinomycin D, and antibodies against MIP-1α and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) abolished the stimulation of cell migration by TGF-β1. These findings suggest that migration of these cells is regulated directly and indirectly via the expression of chemokines such as MIP-1α and MCP-1 mediated by RhoA in response to TGF-β1. TGF-β1 activated RhoA in the initial period, and thereafter inactivated them, suggesting that the inactivation of RhoA may be the cause of the reduced cell migration in response to TGF-β1 at later times. We therefore attempted to elucidate the molecular mechanism of the inactivation of RhoA by TGF-β1. First, TGF-β1 phosphorylated RhoA via protein kinase A, leading to inactivation of RhoA. Second, wild-type p190 Rho GTPase activating protein (p190RhoGAP) reduced and DN-p190RhoGAP reversed the reduction of cell migration induced by TGF-β, suggesting that it inactivated RhoA via p190 Rho GAP.</P>

Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a chronic, progressive fibrosing interstitial pneumonia, which presents with a progressive worsening dyspnea, and thus a poor outcome. The members of the Korean Academy of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases as well as the participating members of the Korea Interstitial Lung Disease Study Group drafted this clinical practice guideline for IPF management. This guideline includes a wide range of topics, including the epidemiology, pathogenesis, risk factors, clinical features, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and acute exacerbation of IPF in Korea. Additionally, we suggested the PICO for the use of pirfenidone and nintendanib and for lung transplantation for the treatment of patients with IPF through a systemic literature review using experts' help in conducting a meta-analysis. We recommend this guideline to physicians, other health care professionals, and government personnel in Korea, to facilitate the treatment of patients with IPF.
