A ten months old, female Yorkshire terrier weighing 2.88 kg referred to veterinary teaching hospital of college of veterinary medicine, Konkuk University because of syncope, cough and dyspnea. First hematological and serum chemical test revealed thrombocytopenia, mild anemia, and increase of concentration of ALP (195 U/L). On 57 days later, second hematological and serum chemical test revealed polycythemia, increase of concentration of ALP (211 U/L), and Tchol (387 mg/dl). Right atrium enlargement, main pulmonary artery bulge and cardiomegaly (VHS = 11.5) were observed in radiographic findings. Ultrasonographic images showed both right and left ventricular dilation and turbulent flow between the descending aorta and the main pulmonary artery in color Doppler imaging. ECG showed left ventricular enlargement, SA block, and electrical alternant. Thoracotomy was performed through left fourth intercostal incision under isoflurane anesthesia. Patent ductus arteriosus was double ligated with 1-0 silk. Cough and dyspnea disappeared on 5 days after operation. Turbulent flow was not found in color doppler imaging of ultrasonography on 10 days after operation. Ten months later after the operation, syncope could not exist any more.

전처리 과정과 모델 선택을 이용한 비선형 시계열 데이터의 퍼지 예측

When time series data have the non-probabilistic uncertainty and the nonlinear characteristics, time series forecasting using traditional techniques is very difficult. Especially, traditional methods, which use past data directly in prediction procedure, cannot properly handle non-stationary data whose long-term mean is floating. To cope with this problem, a fuzzy forecasting method combined with the data preprocessing and model selection procedure is suggested in this paper. The proposed method is divided into the two phase. One is modeling phase, and the other is prediction phase. First of all in modeling phase, based on correlation analysis, we determine which sequences of differences of original time series data is more suitable for forecasting. Then, for each sequence of differences chosen from data preprocessing, fuzzy predictor with TS rule base is constructed. Finally an optimal predictor which yields the minimal MSE is selected. In prediction phase, we perform forecasting by a fuzzy predictor selected in modeling phase. Computer simulations show that the proposed method have better performance than traditional method for nonlinear time serves data.

The growth of the internet in the past few years has led to network congestion and server overloading. Use of proxy cache solve this problem. Despite success of proxy cache in the internet, proxy cache is not efficient for multimedia stream such as video and audio. In this paper, we propose a new proxy cache policy and a efficient cache replacement algorithm for multimedia stream. We expect that a new proxy cache policy is efficient for multimedia stream.

세터의 위치와 공격유형에 따른 스파이크 성공률에 관한 연구

We studied the patterns of spike and the rate of success according to the setter’s position in 9 girls middle school teams participated in The 4th Re·Mayergie National Men, Women Volleyball This study also aims to analyze the pattern and characteristics of attack by classifying types of spike into open spike, B spike, B2 spike, forward time differential spike, back open spike, backward differential spike, back A spike, etc. The result is as follows ; 1. When a setter is positioned of B·R, the rate of success was A spike(71.4%), B2 spike(66.7%), open spike(42.1%) forward time differential spike(31.8%), back open spike(23.1%) and backward time differential spike(20.0%). 2. When a setter is positioned of B·C, the rate of success was A spike(80.0%), back open spike(60.6%), B2 spike(50.0%), open spike(35.3%) backward time differential spike(28.6%) and forward time differential spike(28.0%). 3. When a setter is positioned of B·L, the rate of success was backward time differential spike(62.5%), forward time differential spike(48.6%), open spike(34.5%), B2 spike(33.3%), back open spike(33.3%) and A spike (20.0%). 4. When a setter is positioned of F·L, the rate of success was A spike, back open spike, back A spike(50.0%), open spike(39.1%) backward time differential spike(37.5%) and forward time differential spike(30.0%). 5. When a setter is positioned of F·L, the rate of success was B spike(100.0%), forward time differential spike(41.9%), open spike(33.3%) and backward time differential spike(25.0%). 6. When a setter is positioned of F·.L, the rate of success was back A spike(100.0%), back open spike(60.0%), B2 spike(50.0%), forward time differential spike(45.5%), backward time differential spike(37.5%), and open spike(34.4%).

The effects of three different packing method on physico-chemical properties and changes of palatability were examined in pork during the 12 days of storage period at 3℃. Pork was packed by air, vacuum and vacuum with oxygen scavenger. 1. The pH of pork decreased up to 3 days of postmortem and then increased with the storage time. Volatile basic nitrogen(VBN) after postmortem was 6.03㎎%, and increased with the storage time. After the 12 days of storage period VBN of pork packing by air, vacuum, and vacuum with oxygen scavenger were 15.90, 9.80 and 7.90㎎%, respectively. Right after postmortem, 2-thiobarbituric acid (TBA) value was 0.067, and TBA values of pork packing by air, vacuum, and vacuum with oxygen scavenger increased gradually to the values of 0.320, 0.162, and 0.125 with the storage time. The pH, VBN and TBA of pork packing by air were higher than those of pork packing by vacuum and vacuum with oxygen scavanger. 2. Standard plate counts (SPC) was 3.1×10³/g right after postmortem, and increased gradually with storage time. After the 12 days storage period, SPC of pork packing by air vacuum, and vacuum with oxygen scavenger were 6.2×10??, 7.5×10??, and 8.3×10³, respectively. "L" and "b" value of air-packed pork were higher than those of others, and "a" value of vacuum-packed pork with oxygen scavenger was higher than those of with the storage time. 3. Concentrations of ATP, ADP decreased with the storage time, but the values of IMP, HxR, Hx and "K" increased gradually with the storage time. Aroma of cooking pork was the best from pork packing by air after the 6 days of storage. The taste was improved with the storage time in all samples, and was good in the order of air, vacuum and vacuum with oxygen scavenger packed pork.

Objectives : Fast change and confusion of the value system in society affect the identity formation of adolescents. So Adlescents' behavioral problems seem to be increasing yearly. It is known that the interpersonal group therapy is the most effective treatment modality among many group programs for adolescents with behavioral problems. Objectives of this study are as follows ; first, evaluate therapeutic effects of the interpersonal group therapy for adolescents with behavioral problems second, examine the therapeutic factors ; third, analyze the group process : fourth, orgamize the group therapy for adolescents with behavioral problems as an applicable treatment modality. The types of group therapy performed in this study are small, closed, homogeneous, outpatient, timelimited, and adolescent group. Methods : This study was carried out at one of the adolescents mental health services in Uiwang Mental Health Center, from April to June and from September to November in 2000. The subjects were 2nd grade students in K middle school with behavioral proplems. The experimental groups were composed of 4 groups including 2 male groups and 2 female groups (male 11, female 17), and the control groups matched the same conditions as the experimental groups (male 10, female 19). The group therapy was performed weekly in CA (club activity) time, and it took 60-70 minutes at one time. They met total 10 sessions including preparatory meeting and termination meeting. Before and after this program, self-rating scales (behavioral problems, aggression, and impulsivity) were applied for subjects, and the teacher rating scales (behavioral problems, aggression and impulsivity) were performed by teachers in charge. After each session, Yalom's 13 therapeutic factors scale was perfbrmed. At the last meeting, total assessment questionnaire was compleled. Results : The mean scores of all self-rating scales (behavioral problem, aggression, and impulsivity) were lower in the experimental groups (both male and female group) than the control groups, but not significant statistically except the behavioral problem scale of female students. The mean scores of all teacher rating scales (behavioral problem, aggression, and impulsivity) were lower in the experimental groups (both male and female group) in comparison with the control groups, all significant statistically. As faras the therapeutic factors are concerned ; first, the mean scores of all therapeutic factors in female students were higher than in male students and the mean scores of all therapeutic factors in the later half sessions were higher than the former half sessions ; second, catharsis and existential factor were high in all students and sessions ; third, identification with therapist factor was high in all students and sessions : fourth, during the later half sessions, interpersonal input was relatively high in male students and socializing technique was relatively high in female students. Its forthe total assessment questionnaires ; 100% of male students and 88.2% of female students reported that they were helped by this group therapy ; 100% of male students and 82.4% of female students reported that they would participate willingly if future opportunity of the same group therapy is given for them. Conclusion : Adolescents with behavioral problems who participated in this study showed the decrease of behavioral problems and the change of aggressive and impulsive attitudes in comparison with the control groups although they had some differences between male and female students. The group therapy with adolescents would be practiced more broadly and extensively though there are several accompanied problems including the difficulty of structuring, the deficit of motivation, and financial problem.

in recent times, central nervous system(CNS) tuberculosis has been rare and the prevalence of the focal form, the tuberculoma, varies from 1 per 200 to 1 per 1000. CNS tuberculosis occurs as a result of hematogenous spread from a primary focus. mostly pulmonary tuberculosis. It can be diffuse exudative leptomeningitis or a localized tuberculoma ; the former is more common. We report a case of miliary cerebral tuberculosis in a 24-year-old female who had been having headaches for 4 months. Magnetic resonance imaging showed numerous small round Gadolinium-enhanced supratentorial and infratentorial lesions scattered throughout the brain. Histologic examination confirmed well defined tuberculous granulomas with central caseous necrosis in open biopsy, containing several acid-fast bacilli, the patient was treated with isoniazid, rifampin, ethambutol, pyrazinamide in combination with prednisolone.

This paper analyzes the frequency, stability, and power quality in islanded operation by photovoltaic(PV) system. The PV system and distribution system is modeled by Matlab/Simulink. The various conditions between the load capacity and the maximum power of PV system are simulated. The stability of PV system is evaluated by eigenvalues. The voltage sag/swell and harmonics among power quality problems are analyzed.

태양광 연계 계통의 주파수 보호 기준 정립

The standard for the frequency protection of distributed generation in Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO)'s standard doesn't include the setting of frequency protection. Therefore, this paper analyzes the correlation between the frequency protection requirements and the stability of grid-connected PV system for the adjustable operating setting of frequency protection. The distribution system interconnected with 3 ㎿ PV system is modeled by Matlab/Simulink. The various value of frequency is simulated. For studied cases, the stability of PV system is analyzed. It is concluded that the operating setting of frequency protection can be determined by the stability of PV system.
