        천연 추출물을 이용한 무 피클의 제조 및 품질 평가

        This study examined the physicochemical properties of radish pickle containing different natural preservatives (grapefruit seed extract, green tea extract, rosemary, or olive) stored for 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 weeks. The hardness and color of the radish pickles with the grapefruit seed extract was higher than the other radish pickles during storage from week 0 to week 4. A 14.52% and 13.80% decrease in hardness and color were observed in the radish pickles with grapefruit seed extract (GFE), respectively. In addition, the total phenolic content was highest in the GFE in natural preservatives. Based on the results, GFE was selected as the optimal natural preservatives, and the growth of total viable bacteria and yeast were evaluated. The total viable bacteria and yeast showed similar patterns to the control. These results are expected to be useful in producing radish pickles with optimal quality and contribute to the development of various foods in the food industry.

        구멍쇠미역의 식품영양학적 접근 및 생리활성 분석

        본 연구는 구멍쇠미역을 대상으로 건강기능성식품의 소재로의 활용을 위한 가능성을 타진하고자 영양성분 분석을 통한 식품영양학적 접근 및 생리활성 기능을 분석하였다. 식품 영양학적 접근에서의 구멍쇠미역의 일반성분은 건량 기준으로 당질 45.4%, 조단백질 15.0%, 조지방 2.3% 및 조회분 33.1%이었고, 구멍쇠미역 100 g의 함유 열량은 262.3 kcal로 분석되었으며, 총 식이섬유소 함량은 34.0%로 나타났다. 또한, 총 18종의 아미노산으로 구성되었으며, 그 함량은 12,402.42 mg이었고, 무기질 중 칼륨의 함유량이 가장 높았고, 그 다음이 칼슘, 나트륨, 마그네슘 순으로 나타나, 알칼리성 재료임을 알 수 있었다. 구멍쇠미역 추출물의 총 페놀 함량 및 총 플라보노이드 함량분석 결과, 각각 $34.1{\pm}2.56mg/g$과 $4.9{\pm}0.26mg/g$으로 나타났다. 다양한 항산화 평가 모델(DPPH, FRAP, 환원력, ABTS)을 통하여 구멍쇠미역 추출물의 항산화 활성을 측정한 결과, 구멍쇠미역 추출물의 농도가 증가함에 따라 항산화능이 유의적으로 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과로부터 구멍쇠미역은 식품으로서의 이용가치가 매우 크며, 구멍쇠미역 추출물은 항산화능이 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. The purpose of this study is to determine the possibility of using Agarum cribrosum as a natural health food source. To accomplish this purpose, the contents of the general and antioxidant activities of Agarum cribrosum were measured. The contents of carbohydrate, crude protein, crude lipid and ash were 45.4%, 15.0%, 2.3% and 33.1%. The calories of Agarum cribrosum were 262.3 kcal and total dietary fiber of Agarum cribrosum was 34.0%. The protein contained a total of 18 different kinds of amino acids. The content of amino acids was 12,402.42 mg/100 g. The K was the largest mineral followed by Ca, Na and Mg, implying that Agarum cribrosum is an alkali material. The antioxidant activity of Agarum cribrosum was assessed by various radical scavenging assays using DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl), FRAP (ferric ion reducing antioxidant power), reducing power, and ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulphonic acid)). All antioxidant activity of Agarum cribrosum extract increased the concentration of the dependents. Total phenolic contents of Agarum cribrosum extract were $34.1{\pm}2.56mg/g$, and total flavonoids contents were estimated at $4.9{\pm}0.26mg/g$. General nutrients and other antioxidant bioactive materials in Agarum cribrosum were also potential materials for good health food. It is expected that a follow-up study of Agarum cribrosum through developing processed food and evaluation of their functional properties would provide useful information or sources of functional foods.

        전방 경추 미세 추간공 확대술 : 경추증에 대한 최소침습적 전측방 접근법

        Objective : Various surgical approaches have been implemented to fulfill the ideal goals of treatment for cervical spondylotic lesions. Conventional approaches are represented by anterior approach with or without fusion and posterior approach. The authors has applied newly developed anterior cervical microforaminotomy for these lesions on minimally invasive basis. Materials and Method : Twenty-one patients, with cervical HIVD, or stenosis, or both, underwent anterior cervical microforaminotomy between March, 1998 and April, 1999. Fifteen patients underwent unilateral decompression, and 6 bilateral decompression via unilateral foraminotomy. Operation of one level was performed in 16 patients, 2 levels in 4 patients, and 3 in 1 patient. The foraminotomy was accomplished by resecting the uncovertebral joint. Through this hole, compressed nerve root was decompressed by removing the spondylotic spur or disc fragment, and diagonal removing of posterior osteophyte from foraminotomy site to begining of contralateral nerve root made spinal cord decompression. Results : The outcome was excellent in 17 patients(81%) and good in 4 patients(19%) based on Odom's criteria. No complication was encounterd, and average post-operation hospital stay was 3.7 days. Conclusions : These results indicate that anterior cervical microforaminotomy provide adequate neural decompression, minimum postoperative discomfort and fast recovery.

        망막정맥폐쇄에서 혈압의 일중 변동 양상 분석

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the diurnal blood pressure variation with retinal vein occlusion (RVO) using 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (24-hour ABPM). Methods: The subjects in this study visited the department of ophthalmology from May 2012 to December 2012 and were diagnosed with RVO but had no history of hypertension (HTN). Non-dipper was defined as a nocturnal systolic blood pressure (SBP) decrease less than 10%. These values were used to compare the 24-hour ABPM values of the RVO and the control groups. Results: The 24-hour ABPM values, with the exception of the mean nightly SBP, were statistically different whne the RVO group was compared with the control group. The odds of an RVO patient being a non-dipper compared to dipper were 1.81 times greater than in the control. Additionally, the clinical SBP and DBP in the RVO group were not significantly different when the HTN group and the non-HTN group were compared. In contrast, the mean 24-hour SBP and the mean DBP were significantly different in regard to HTN. Conclusions: Patients with RVO have a tendency to maintain high BP throughout the day and also during the night. A patient with non-dipper status can be at risk for RVO, even if the patient does not have HTN. Therefore, 24-hour ABPM is an effective management approach for HTN in addition to strict BP control in patients with RVO.

        합성곱 신경망을 활용한 위내시경 이미지 분류에서 전이학습의 효용성 평가

        Stomach cancer is the most diagnosed cancer in Korea. When gastric cancer is detected early, the 5-year survival rate is as high as 90%. Gastroscopy is a very useful method for early diagnosis. But the false negative rate of gastric cancer in the gastroscopy was 4.6~25.8% due to the subjective judgment of the physician. Recently, the image classification performance of the image recognition field has been advanced by the convolutional neural network. Convolutional neural networks perform well when diverse and sufficient amounts of data are supported. However, medical data is not easy to access and it is difficult to gather enough high-quality data that includes expert annotations. So This paper evaluates the efficacy of transfer learning in gastroscopy classification and diagnosis. We obtained 787 endoscopic images of gastric endoscopy at Gil Medical Center, Gachon University. The number of normal images was 200, and the number of abnormal images was 587. The image size was reconstructed and normalized. In the case of the ResNet50 structure, the classification accuracy before and after applying the transfer learning was improved from 0.9 to 0.947, and the AUC was also improved from 0.94 to 0.98. In the case of the InceptionV3 structure, the classification accuracy before and after applying the transfer learning was improved from 0.862 to 0.924, and the AUC was also improved from 0.89 to 0.97. In the case of the VGG16 structure, the classification accuracy before and after applying the transfer learning was improved from 0.87 to 0.938, and the AUC was also improved from 0.89 to 0.98. The difference in the performance of the CNN model before and after transfer learning was statistically significant when confirmed by T-test (p < 0.05). As a result, transfer learning is judged to be an effective method of medical data that is difficult to collect good quality data.

        Pectolinarin 고함유 곤드레 미세분말의 항산화 및 항비만 활성

        The aim of this study was to evaluate the basic data of Cirsium setidens Nakai fine powder (FPC), which will then be used in the development of functional fooditems. We measures and evaluated the level of pectolinarin content, phenol content, flavonoids content, antioxidants and anti-obesity properties of FPC. Our results from the study showed that the pectolinarin, phenol, and flavonoids contents of FPC measured at 10.95±0.1 5mg/g, 12.92±0.18 mg gallic acid equivalent (GAE)/g and 26.47±0.77 mg rutin equivalent (RE)/g, respectively. The exhibited antioxidant activity of FPC increased significantly depending on the dosage, and additionally. FPC did not show any cytotoxicity up to the dosage level of 500 μg/mL. During adipocyte differentiation, FPC significantly inhibited ROS production and lipid accumulation, compared with the control substance. These results suggest that FPC could be considered a promising resource of natural antioxidants and could serve a variety of health-improving roles in the production of functional food ingredients.

        Avulsion fracture of the calcaneal tuberosity is an uncommon injury. Usually it occurs from indirect trauma, and can be seen in old patients with osteoporosis or in patients with diabetic neuropathy. Follow-up studies showed healing of the fracture in most cases, but skeletal deformity may develop in some cases. Therefore we should take plain X-ray evaluations in diabetic patients with foot and ankle pain, even though there have been no definite trauma history. Four cases of calcaneus avulsion fracture were treated operatively in diabetic patients, and reported.

        실린더형 압전소자 광지연선을 이용한 광 간섭형 단층촬영(OCT) 시스템 제작

        원통형의 압접소자를 이용한 광지연선을 사용하여 광 간섭형 단층촬영 시스템을 제작하였다. 광지연선은 18 m 길이의 단일 모드 광섬유를 압전소자의 둘레에 134회 감아 구성하였으며 0.78 mm의 광경로 길이변화를 얻었다. 제작한 광 간섭형 단층촬영 시스템은 신호 대 잡음비 96.9 dB, 종방향 분해능 $18.6{\pm}0.5\;{\mu}m$, 횡방향 분해능 $5\;{\mu}m$의 특성을 보였다. We demonstrate a compact optical coherence tomography(OCT) system based on the optical fiber delay line controlled by a cylindrical piezo-electric transducer(PZT). An 18-m length of single mode fiber is wrapped under constant tension around a PZT. Approximately 134 windings are used. Wraps of the long length of fiber allow the small expansion of the PZT to be magnified to an optical path length delay of 0.78 m. The OCT system shows characteristics for 2-dimensional imaging, exhibiting 96.9dB of signal-to-noise ratio(SNR), $18.6{\pm}0.5\;{\mu}m$ of axial resolution, and $5\;{\mu}m$ of lateral resolution with samples.

        This study typified the rural centers with myeon locations in Hwasun-gun which showed comprehensive and various class types through settlement class structure analysis. It is also for establishing the awareness of strengthening functions and facilities of the centers and the directions of strengthening it. Subjects of the study could be classified into three types including base type (Neungju-myeon), general type (Nam-myeon) and decline type (Dongbok-myeon) through the analysis of settlement class structure. Neungju-myeon location as the base type could function as the myeon location by itself and tended to serve education, health and welfare functions through the strengthening of central living functions. Nam-myeon location as the general type required sports facilities management based on the vicinity and accessibility to the senior's welfare functions. Dongbok-myeon location as the decline type required the accessibility to public health facilities and the security of vicinity to the facilities because of its high population of the aged.

        강화유리 표면의 친수성 특성 조사에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 플라즈마 장치의 광 특성과 접촉각 특성을 조사하여 스마트폰에 사용되는 강화유리 표면의 친수성 특성을 알아 보였다. 본 연구에서 공정 가스의 분압과 입력 전압의 정도에 대한 강화유리 표면의 친수화 정도를 조사하였다. 각 변수에 따라 아르곤 가스의 이온화 정도에 따라 차이가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구에서, 강화유리 표면은 처리되기 전과 비교하여 접촉각의 변화나 광방출 특성에서 나타난 것들을 토대로 친수화가 되었음을 알 수 있었다. In this study, we assessed the hydrophilic characteristics of the surface of toughened glass used in smartphones by investigating the optical properties and contact angle characteristics of the plasma device. In this study, the characteristics were different depending on the partial pressure of the gas, input voltage, and degree of ionization of argon gas. In this study, the surface of the toughened glass became more hydrophilic, as indicated by contact angle and light spectrum, after plasma treatment than before the treatment.
