        소음인(少陰人) 태음병(太陰病) 심하비증(心下?證)의 병증약리(病證藥理) 고찰

        1. Objective: Gastric Stuffiness (心下?證) in the Soeumin Taeeum symptomatology (少陰人 太陰病) in Sasang Constitutional Medicine shows an interesting evolutionary process. Originally found in the texts of Sanghanlun (傷寒論), the perspectives regarding the symptoms of Gastric Stuffiness were expanded by many medical scholars and Lee Jema. To comprehend the Jema's concept of Taeeum symptomatology and utilize his prescription clinically, it deserves to study on the Gastric Stuffiness in Donguisuseowon (東醫壽世保元). 2. Methods: Many texts including Sanghanlun (傷寒論) and Dongeuibogam (東醫寶鑑) were reviewed in order to track the evolutionary process concerning the symptoms of Gastric Stuffiness. Also, Lee Jema's works including the different versions of Donguisuseowon (東醫壽世保元) were reviewed to examine the development of Lee's concepts regarding the Gastric Stuffiness in the Soeumin Taeeum symptomatology. 3. Results and Conclusions: 1) Most of the previous concepts on Gastric Stuffiness were generally similar to those found in Sanghanlun, especially in that they addressed Yang deficiency of the middle triple energizeer as the central pathogenic process. 2) Lee Jema's views on the epigastric discomfort in the Soeumin Taeeum symptomatology evoloved over time and culminated in the finalized pathology and therapeutics appearing in his last work, the Shinchuk version of Donguisuseowon (東醫壽世保元). 3) 4 kinds of prescription which invented by Lee Jema to treat the Gastric Stuffiness in the Soeumin Taeeum symptomatology can be matched to the prescription of Sanghanlun respectively. However through evolutionary process of Jema's prescriptions, the indication of them expanded: not only to treat Gastric Stuffiness but to diverse symptoms of Soeumin.

        조선후기 천문학자 이덕성의 생애와 천문활동

        The life and astronomical activity of Lee Deok-Seong (李德星, 1720-1794) was studied using various historical sources, including the astronomical almanac, Seungjeongwon-Ilgi (Daily records of Royal Secretariat of Joseon dynasty), and the Gwansang-Gam's logbooks during Joseon dynasty (A.D. 1392-1910). We present the results of the study including the following main findings. First, from the investigation of Lee's family tree, we find that a number of his relatives were also astronomers, notably Samryeok-Gwan (三曆官, the post of calendrical calculation). Second, we find that he took part in the compilation of an annual astronomical almanac over a period of at least 16 years. His major achievements in the astronomy of the Joseon dynasty were to establish a new method of calendar-making calculation and to bring astronomical materials to the Joseon court through a visit to China. The Joseon dynasty enforced the Shixianli (時憲曆, a Chinese calendar made by Adam Shall) in 1654 without fully understanding the calendar. So an astronomer and an envoy were dispatched to China in order to master the intricacies of the calendar and to learn as much of Western science as was available in that time and place. Lee Deok-Seong worked at the Gwansang-Gam (觀象監, Royal Astronomical Bureau) during the reigns of King Yeongjo (英祖) and Jeongjo (正祖). As best as we can ascertain in relation with the calculations in the Shixian calendar, Lee visited China four times. During his trips and interactions, he learned a new method for calendar-making calculations, and introduced many Western-Chinese astronomical books to Joseon academia. Lee greatly improved the accuracy of calendrical calculations, even while simplifying the calculation process. With these achievements, he finally was promoted to the title of Sungrok-Daebu (崇祿大夫), the third highest grade of royal official. In conclusion, history demonstrates that Lee Deok-Seong was one of the most outstanding astronomers in the late-Joseon dynasty.

        가평 전주이씨묘 출토복식 고찰

        In 1995, the costumes were restored in an unknown woman's tomb at the Jeonju Lee's family cemetery in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-Do, and there are currently nine items remaining. In this study, we first introduced these 9 relics to academia and analyzed the morphological characteristics of the costumes. We also estimated the time and person of burial compared with costumes unearthed from other burials. Jeogories (short jacket) are all four items. One of these items was unusual in shape, and the upper part of the seop (gusset) was wrinkled and shaped. This type of Jeogori appears only till the 1520s in other tombs. There are also two skirts, one of which is characterized by a superimposed pattern. The top and bottom / middle part of the skirt were rolled up, and the skirt, which was double-rolled up in this way, was first discovered. An analysis of the shape of Jeogori and skirt indicated that the person buried in the Jeonju Lee's family tomb was believed to have survived until the early 16th century. Based on these estimated periods, as a result of looking at the genealogy of Jeonju Lee's family, it was concluded that the tomb was probably a woman named Lee Geum Myeong (李金命) born in the mid-15C and died between the late 15C and the early 16C.

        미래 사회를 대비하기 위한 개인의 개성을 존중과 창의적인 능력을 지닌 인간을 양성을 목적으로 충청남도 지역의 초 ㆍ 중고등학생들을 대상으로 한 창의력 경연대회가 공주대학교 과학교육연구소에서 개최되었다. 충청남도 초 ㆍ중 ㆍ 고등학생들을 대상으로 실시한 창의력 경연대회는 창조적 아이디어를 내어 스스로 문제를 해결해 나갈 수 있는 교육 프로그램을 제공하는 좋은 기회였음이 확인되었으나, 일부의 팀에서만 참신하고 재미있는 아이디어들이 제안되었다. 여학생의 참가자 수가 상당히 증가하였으며, 대체적으로 입상권의 학생들의 상당 부분이 여학생이라는 것이 특이할만하다. 학년이 올라감에 따라서 창의적인 아이디어를 내는 양이나 질에 있어서 뒤떨어지는 것으로 분석되었으며, 토론 학습의 적응력이 미흡하고 발표력 및 청취력에 있어서도 떨어지는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 중 ㆍ고등학교의 학교교육에서도 학생들에게 프로젝트형 탐구학습 프로그램의 적용은 물론 토론식 수습을 통한 학생들의 사고의 전환의 기회를 제공해야 할 것으로 사료된다. The creativity competition was held to foster the creativity of elementary and secondary school students in the Institute of Science Education, Kongju national University. It was found that the creativity competition effected on the improvement of inventing creative ideas and problem solving activities. But, only some competitors participated in semifinal and final contests, presented original and interesting ideas. More female students participated in competition than last year. More female participants were awarded a prize than males. Totally, participants were defective in discussion and communication, and presentation and listening ideas. Increasing grades correlated inversely with creativity and originality. There is need of inquiry project teaming programs and presenting opportunities of conversion of thinking by discussing instructions in school

        중원의 지각 변동에 대한 1630년 조선의 현실 대응: 선약해의 <심양사행일기>와 권칙의 <강로전>을 중심으로

        17세기 초반은 중원의 중심이었던 명나라가 후금의 잇따른 침공으로 위기를 겪게 됨에 따라 커다란 지각 변동이 발생하는 시기였다. 본 논문에 서는 격변하는 시대적 분위기 가운데 조선이 어떻게 대응하는지 살펴보기 위해 1630년에 저작된 선약해의 <심양사행일기>와 권칙의 <강로전>을 주목하 였다. 두 작품은 공통적으로 중원의 지배권을 둘러싸고 후금과 명이 대치하는 상황을 사실적으로 형상화하고 있다. 선약해는 위문사로 파견되어 사행을 다녀 왔던 자신의 체험을 바탕으로 보고 전해 들은 것을 상세하게 기록하였고, 권칙 또한 심하전투에 파견되었던 실제 경험을 토대로 작품을 창작하였다. 하지만 현실 대응의 모습은 대비되는 것으로 나타났다. 1630년은 서인 세력이 ‘숭명배호론’을 표방했던 시기였던 지라, 권칙은 후금에 투항한 강홍립을 부정적인 인물로 왜곡하여 그 이념에 충실하고자 했다. 반면 선약해는 조선을 대표하는 사신으로서 후금에 당당하게 맞서는 듯하지만, 급속도로 변화하는 중원의 질서를 목도한 후 내적인 혼란과 두려움을 시를 통해 완곡하게 표현 하였다. 결국 <강로전>은 숭명배호론의 이상을 구현하고자 했고 <심양사행일기>는 후금에 대한 위기의식 제고와 함께 현실에 중점을 두고자 했다. 이러한 현실 대응은 17세기 초반 중원의 지각 변동으로 인해 조선이 겪어야 했던 문제적 상황을 잘 보여준다고 할 수 있다. The early 17th century was a time of cataclysm as Ming Dynasty, which held the supremacy in China for a long time, underwent a crisis due to the subsequent invasions of Later Jin. In this study, Seon Yakhae s Shimyang-sahaeng-ilgo and Gwon Chik s Gangnojeon written in 1630 were examined and compared to understand how Joseon responded to the convulsing situations at the time. Both works commonly include realistic representations of the confrontation between Ming and Later Jin over the supremacy in China. Seon Yakhae made a detailed record of what he saw and heard of the situation based on his own experiences of traveling to China as a messenger of condolence dispatched by the Joseon Dynasty. Gwon Chik, on the other hand, wrote Gangnojeon based on his actual experience of being dispatched to the Battle of Sarhu. However, it was found that the representation of Joseon s response to the reality at the time differed in these two literatures. The year of 1630 was a time when the Seo-in faction in the royal court of Joseon advocated Sungmyeongbaehoron, the idea of respecting Ming and excluding the Manchurian force. Accordingly, Gwon Chik distorted the image of Gang Hongrib, who surrendered to Later Jin, and presented him as a negative figure to stand faithful to Sungmyeongbaehoron. On the other hand, Seon Yakhae, as a representative of Joseon Dynasty, appeared to have gallantly stood against Later Jin, but, in fact,expressed through a poem his internal confusion and fear after witnessing the rapid change of order in the supremacy in China. In conclusion, Gangnojeon embodied the vision of Sungmyeongbaehoron, whereas Shimyang-sahaeng-ilgi focused on the situations at the time with due consideration of the crisis awareness for Later Jin. These responses to the cataclysm of China s supremacy in the early 17th century clearly demonstrate the problematic situation Joseon had to go through due to the power struggle in China.

      • 생쥐 뇌조직 체외배양법을 활용한 향산화제의 향독성효과에 관한 연구

        In an effort to establish an in vitro model of Parkinson's disease (PD), we prepared slice cultures of midbrain from newborn mouse. The slice section containing substantia nigral region was cultured for 10days. The striatal culture was grown to preserve the distribution of interneurons with minimal contamination of any other brain tissue. Using this explant culture containing both glial cells and nitro-striatal dopamine neurons, the protective effect of antioxidant pineal hormone and melatonin on 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1, 2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine (MPTP) -induced loss of the dopamine neurons was investigated. MPTP selectively damaged dopaminergic neurons, as indicated by immunoblot and immunohistochemistry for glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) and tyrosine hydroxylase, the marker enzymes for glial and dopaminergic neurons, respectively. Twenty-four-hour treatment of MPTP (50 μM) in the explant culture induced 37% loss of dopaminergic neurons while no apparent damage was observed in glial region. Type B monoamine oxidase (MAO-B) that resides in glial cells, produces free radicals during catecholamine metabolism and also oxidizes MPTP to its active form, MPP+, was activated by 2.2 times after MPTP treatment. Melatonin was able to recover both the dopaminergic neuronal loss and the elevated MAO-B activity level fully to the untreated control level. Similar observation was made bur the co-treatment of vitamin E with MPTP, suggesting the generation of oxygen radical species by MPTP. On behalf of pursuing molecular mechanisms of Parkinsonism, the data illustrate the proposed mechanism of MPTP-induced dopaminergic cell death ; namely, MPP+ that is processed by MAO-B in glial cells is taken up avidly by dopaminergic neurons and causes a toxic effect at least partly, if not mostly, through oxidative stress. The culture system, therefore, can serve as an experimental model of PD in which the putative neuroprotective effects of antioxidants can be investigated. This model is also useful for screening novel drugs and growth factors without a massive sacrifice of animals, and ultimately for developing neuroprotective therapies.

      • 전단응력형 압저항 압력센서의 최적화

        Three kinds of pressure sensors, which diaphragm size are 0.8Xo.8mm^(2), 0.8X1.2mm^(2) and 0.8X2.4mm^(2) respectively, have been fabricated. In order to obtain optimum gauge according to results of FEM simulation about distribution of shear stress. Three strain gauge with different locations are made on a rectangular diaphragm. The sensitivities of gauges made at the edge of the longer axis(y axis) in 0.8X1.2mm^(2) and 0.8X2.4mm^(2)diaphragm size, are 10.4mV/V·kgf/cm^(2) and 11.1mV/V·kgf/cm^(2) respectively. These are above twice the sensitivities of gauges that is located at the center of the same diaphragms.

        대구지역 고등학생들의 흡연실태 및 니코틴 의존도

        The purpose of this study was to surveyed the smoking status and pattern, nicotine dependence and factors associated with smoking and nicotine dependence for high school students in Daegu. In March. 2000, 1,593 students from 7 male and 6 female high schools located in Taegu were assessed with self-completing questionnaire. The major findings were as follows; Percentage of male smokers was 15.0% in general high school, 30.9% in business high school and that of female smokers was 5.0% in whole woman's high school. The median score of FTQ was 4.0 among male smokers and female smokers. the mean of FTQ score was 4.07±1.96 in male and 3.94±1.63 in female. Percentage of students with high FTQ score(FTQ≥7) was 13.3% in male and 5.9% in female. In multiple logistic regression analysis, smoking had significant association with general characteristics such as personal-specifics factors, family environment factors and school environment factors. In multiple logistic regression analysis, nicotine dependence had significant association with school-age and duration of smoking. On consideration of above findings, to prevent students from smoking and to reduce the smoking rate, we have to try together in house, school and society.

      • 일괄공정 압저항혈 압력센서의 특성

        This paper describes structural characteristics of three kinds of piezoresistive pressure sensors, which include wheatstone-bridge type, center-boss type and single-element type, fabricated on one-chip by batch process. In order to optimize device dimensions with respect to the desired characteristics, analytical formula and finited-element modeling(FEM) are used in design process. In experiments the pressure sensitivity of wheatstone-bridge type is about 2.2㎷/V·㎪. The fabricated center-boss pressure sensor has improved in the characteristics as linearity at low pressure, and sensitivity is about 2.415㎷/V·㎪. In single-element type with a four-terminal gauge using shear stress, the maximum sensitivity about 0.4㎷/V·㎪ appeared at the center of the diaphragm with the 3:1 of the length : width ratio. this type is very appropriate method to minimize the temperature dependance of the offset voltage and sensitivity, because the fabricated sensors reduce the offset of themal stress and mismatch of piezoresistros as compared with the wheatstone-bridge type.

      • 카올린으로부터 질화알루미늄 분말 합성

        카올린으로 부터 수화염기성황산알루미늄을 제조하고, 이것을 탄소열환원질화하여 질화알미늄 분말을 합성하였다. 수화염기성황산알루미늄은 카올린으로 부터 제조된 수화황산알루미나 0.5M 및 요소 5M인 용액으로 부터 얻은 것이 가장 미세하였다. 탄소열환원질화법으로 질화알미늄을 합성할 때 활성화탄과 염기성황산알루미늄의 질량비가 2인 조성이 가장 적합하였으며, 이 때 얻어진 질화알미늄은 0.3-1㎛의 submicron급 분말이었다. Aluminum nitride powder was synthesized by carbothermal reduction-nirtridation using kaolin- derived hydrated basic aluminum sulfate. The hydrated basic aluminum sulfate powder produced from the solution of 0.5M hydrated aluminum sulfate and 5M urea showed very fine particles. The aluminum nitride showed the submicron powder of 0.3-1㎛ in the optimum condition with 2.0-weight ratio of activated charcol to hydrated basic aluminum sulfate.
