1. For its pathology, Zhang Chief-pin's theory of asthenic disease in the upper part involve the lower according to cold and heat, Yin and Yang was the most comprehensive. 2. For its couses, Nae-gyung internal medicine seven modes of emotions treatise, Hau To's yansansiteuilogic Yen Yung-Ho's Ochans sangceong logic were the main ourrents. 3. It was recognized that inability of extremities (inpariment of liver caused by overstrain) poor memory, (inpariment of heart caused by overstrain) musele emaciation (inpariment of spleen) caused by overstrain) falling off of hair (inparimrnt of durg caused by overstrain) flaccidity due to deficiency of, kidney-ensence (inpariment of kidney caused by overstrain) were the main symptoms of disorders of five solid organs dseases. 4. It was recognized that five solid organ therapy for restoration was hopeful therapy and also the athention to nourish and consumptive disease was important.

The main purpose of this study is to differentiate Sasang Constitutions of men and women by measuring 5 parts of the body. By the definitions about Four Chos(四焦) in ${\ulcorner}$The Discourse on Viscera and Bowels(臟腑論)${\lrcorner}$, the body is divided into four parts and sets up the five borderlines. They are Top-line, Bosom-line, Stomach-line, Navel-line and Bottom-line. Top-line(第一線) is the horizontal distance between Rt. & Lt. Coracoid processes passing through the acupuncture point CV-22(天突穴) or the horizontal distance between Rt. & Lt. beginning points of Axillary lines. Bosom-line(第二線) is the horizontal distance passing through Rt.& Lt. Nipples. Stomach-line(第三線) is the horizontal distance passing through Rt.& Lt. acupuncture point ST-19(不容穴). Navel-line(第四線) is the horizontal distance passing through the navel(CV-8; 神闕穴) and the acupuncture point ST-25(天樞穴). Bottom-line(第五線) is the horizontal distance between Rt. & Lt. Anterior Superior Iliac Spine(ASIS). The measured numerical values of Five Lines are the most important factors to classify the Four Constitutions(Taeyangin, Taeumin, Soyangin, Soeumin). Among the five lines, Stomach-line(Middle-line) is the base line to decide Yin and Yang. As a result, I could differentiate the four Constitutions as follows. 1. Taeyangin's Top-line is more than 36cm long. Top-line is the longest. Bottom-line is the shortest. The length-difference between Top-line and Bottom-line is more or less 10cm long. 2. In case of Taeumin, Navel-line is the longest. The numerical values of Middle and Bottom lines are almost the same or Bottom-line is shorter than Middle-line by 1 or 2 cm long. In some special case, the five lines are all the same and the body just looks like a log. 3. In case of Soyangin, just like Taeyangin, Top-line is the longest. Bottom-line is the shortest. The length of Top-line is ranged between 30cm to 35cm long. From Top-line to Bottom-line, the length gradually diminishes each by 2cm: for example, 34-32-30-28-26. 4. In case of Soeumin, the longest one is Bottom-line. Specially, Navel-line is shorter than Middle-line. Bottom-line is longer than the Middle.

四種의 體質別 補養藥이 免疫反應 및 自然殺害細胞活性度에 미치는 影響

In order to investigate the effect of 4 constitutional tonics [Cervi Cornu(C.C. ; antler of Cervus elaphus from New Zealand), Rehmanniae Radix(R.R. ; from Yangp'yo˘ng province, Korea), Ginseng Radix(G.R. ; from Ku˘msan province, Korea), and Acantholpanacis Cortex Radicis(A.C. ; from Hongch'o˘n province, Korea)] on immume response and natural killer cell activity(NKCA), the author performed this experimental study. Delayed type hypersensitivity(DTH) and rosette forming cells(RFC) for cell-mediated immune response, hemagglutinin(HA,) titers, hemolysin(HL) tilers and plaque forming cell(PFC) for humoral immune response, carbon clearance for phagocytic function of MPS(mononuclear phagocyte system), and splenic natural killer cell activity(NKCA) were measured in ICR mice. The results were summarized as follows; 1. DTH in all of the treated group was increased, as compared with the control group, with statistical significance except for A.C.-treated group. 2. RFC in ail of the treated group were increased, as compared with the control group, with statistical significance except for A.C.-treated group. 3. HA liters were increased in all of the treated group, as compared with the control group, with statistical significance except for A.C.-treated group. 4. HL tilers were increased in all of the treated group as compared with the control group. 5. PFC were increased in all of the treated group as compared with the control group. 6. Carbon clearance was increased just only in C.C.-treated group with statistical significance. 7. NKCA was increased just only in C.C.-treated group with statistical significance. 8. Through in vivo experimental study in ICR mice, these findings suggest that Cervi Cornu, Rehmanniae Radix and Ginseng Radix enhance both cell-mediated and humoral immune response, that Acanthopanacis Cortex Radicis enhances just only humoral immune response and that Cervi Cornu enhances phagocytic function of MPS and NKCA.

The ultimate purpose of game design is to lay out a design which provides more convenient, more exciting, and more satisfying game to the users. It is needed to adopt the demands and the evaluations of the users, so that to develop user-centered games, yet easier and simpler, to increase their popularity and to improve their productivity. On this basis, the study presents the methods of improving game designs by repeating application of the assessment of the game, through the development of prototype in the Int stage of game project.

사상체질(四象體質)과 HLA type과의 상관성(相關性)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)

Exact constitutional classification is especially important in Sasang Constitutional Medicine. Therefore, most studies on the Sasang Constitutional medicine have been focused on how accurately to classify Sasang Constitution. Recently, there have been reported on the studies about relationship between genetic polymorphism and Sansang Constitution. The purpose of this study is to investigate whether there is any correlation between Sasang Constitution and HLA type. Polymorphism of HLA genes have been known to be important role in transplantation, autoimmune disease, immune response against infection. This study was concentrated on a relationship of HLA-A, -C, -DR, and -DQ types with Sasang Constitution. Results are as following. 1. In the case of HLA-A, there was no significant difference. Only $HLA-A^*31$ has a tendency which Soyangin is less frequent than Soeumin and Taeumin. 2. In the case of HLA-C, there was significant difference between Sasang Constitution and HLA type. In persons having $HLA-C^*04$ allele, Taeumin is more frequent than Soyangin and Soeumin. On the other hand, Soyangin is more frequent than Taeumin and Soeumin in $HLA-C^*07$ allele. $HLA-C^*14$ has a tendency which Soeumin is more frequent than Soyangin and Taeumin. 3. In. the case of HLA-DR type and HLA-DQ type, there was no significant difference among Sansang Constitution. On the study of correlation between Sasang Constitution and HLA type, there was little statistical significance and tendency. This study was the first try about presentation of frequency on the HLA alleles corresponding with Sasang Constitution. I think that more study on the relationship between HLA gene and Sasang Constitution is necessary by method of large case research and various statistical analysis.

The clinical application of constitutional Diagnosis is the most important part of Sasang constitutional medicine. It has been studied in various way. However, the study of morphologic characteristics on the face is applied for the first time. For quantitative analysis of the correlation between the sasang constitution and the shape of the face, the head-facial part of 170 cases were measured by Martin's measurement and analysis of a) the measurement value of height and the component ratio from the Gnathion to each part of face by constitution. b) the measurement value of depth and the component ratio from T-projected to each part of the face by constitution. c) the measurement value of breadth and component ratio between each parts of the facial breadth by constitution. d) the ratio of square on every part of face by constitution. e) the characteristics on each part of the face by constitution. f) the contour line of the forehead. g) the result of discriminant analysis about the constitution. Authors obtained the results from the study as follows; 1. The characteristics of Taeum-IN (1) The measurement value of Height, Breadth, T-Projected had a tendency to maximum value in general. (2) The value of lower opthal height and the square of lower opthal part was maximum. (3) The value of Pronasal T-projected length and Subnasal T-projected length was minimum, so Taeum-In has characteristics of depression in middle face, nasal part. (4) In the ratio of Breadth, T-Projected, T-Projected was minimum. (5) It was maximum that the square of nose, Alare, Middle face, Lower face and it was minimum that the square of eye. The square of nose, Alare, Middle facc, Lower face was maximum and the square of eye was minimum. (6) The curvature of the eyebrow was minimum. (7) The projection of jaw (Pogonion T-projection length) was maximum. (8) The breadth of eye was minimum. (9) There was a tendency that the projection of the forehead to the right in general. 2. The characteristics of Soeum-In (1) In all cases of projected length the measurement value was minimum. (2) The value of lower opthal height and the square of lower opthal part was minimum. (3) By the Pupulare T-projected length, the value of Pronasal T-projected length and Subnasal T-projected length was minimum, so the Soeum In's face shape is flat. (4) The square of eye, mouth, forehead was maximum and the square of nose, Alare, Middle face, Lower face was minimum. (5) The curvature of the eyebrow was maximum. (6) The projection of mouth was minimum. (7) The jaw was flat. (8) The breadth of eye was maximum. (9) There was a tendency that the projection of the forehead to the left in general. 3. The characteristics of Soyang-In. (1) In most cases of 고경 length the measurement value was minimum. (2) By the Pupulare T-projected length, each ratio of projected length was maximum, so the Soyang-In's face shape has many protrusions (3) In the ratio of Breadth, T-Projected, T-Projected was maximum. (4) The square of mouth was minimum. (5) The inclination of the forehead was minimum. (6) The projection of mouth was maximum. (7) The breadth of eye was minimum. (8) There was a tendency that the projection of the forehead to the left in general. (9) The middle face was protruded. 4. Discriminant about the constitution. According to the result of discriminant, the accuracy probability of discriminant was 85.58% in total and Taeum-In was 90.5%, Soeum-In was 70.8%, Soyang-In was 89.5%. The accuracy probability of discriminant about 3 constitutional group increased by 49.03% than the accident probility 36.55% 5. Suggestion (1) The study which gather and analysis the data should be continued. (2) The study which subdivide the characteristics of each part of the face by the constitution should be continued. (3) The analysis method about Moire should be supplement. (4) The study about the morphologic characteristics of the whole body should be continued. (5) Computer program of constitution diagnosis s
