        CNT/PVDF 압전 복합막의 제작과 전기적 특성

        The carbon nanotube / poly-vinylidene fluoride (CNT/PVDF) composite films for the nano-generator devices were fabricated by spray coating method using the CNT/PVDF solution, which was prepared by adding PVDF pellets into the CNT dispersed N-Methyl-2-pyrroli-done (NMP) solution. The flexible CNT/PVDF composite films were investigated by the scanning electron microscopy, which revealed that the CNTs were uniformly dispersed in the PVDF matrix and thickness of the films was approximately $20{\mu}m$. Fourier transform infra-red spectra were used to investigate crystal structure of the as-spray-coated CNT/PVDF films, and we found that they revealed extremely large portion of the ${\beta}$ phase PVDF. The capacitance of the CNT/PVDF films increased by adding CNTs into the PVDF matrix, and finally saturated. However, the resistance didn't show any saturation effect in the CNT concentration range of 0~4 wt%. Finally, the resulting nano-generator devices revealed reasonable current output after given mechanical stress.

        This paper presents the lift and the drag force concerned with kite flying. The korean traditional kite, Bang Pae has the only characteristic which can adjust the flying direction at will in the air. In order to examine closely the manipulability of the Bang Pae, the consideration and study of kite shape characteristic, the coordinate system acting on drag and lift force, and the force and moment on the kite string are required. As the beginning work of enormous research quantities for the flying kite, the effects of the center hole which has an important function in a korean kite for the manipulability is studied with the dimensioning the drag and lift forces through a wind tunnel test.

      • The Organizational Characters of a Post-Soviet State Bureaucracy: The Case of the Russian Procuracy

        This paper aims to explain the organizational characters of a post-Soviet state bureaucracy, examining the case of the Russian Procuracy. The Russian Procuracy can be an excellent case because it entails a formally strong but actually fragmented and factionalized organizational structure. Indeed a post-totalitarian state bureaucracy inherited the personal and patron-client networks from the previous undemocratic period, which still substantively undermines its bureaucratic systemization and therefore has it hold a weaker organizational hierarchy than a post-authoritarian one. Hence, the Russian Procuracy has a half-faced organizational structure. On the one hand, the fragmentation, factional conflicts and corruptions within the Procuracy were intensified, and at the same time its organizational hierarchy was also weakened in a vicious cycle. However, on the other hand, the half-faced organizational hierarchy could prevent prosecutors from holding a unified partisan position. The Procuracy would generally devote loyalty to an incumbent president, but several factions within this power apparatus would not only be in conflict with each other, but also sometimes collude with other political or business forces than his or her clique. Due to the 2007 reform, however, the fragmentation and factionalization between prosecutors are expected to be increasingly reduced and at the same time, the organizational hierarchy of the Russian Procuracy may increasingly become stronger than before.

        DC 전류 측정을 위한 탄소나노튜브와 합금으로 구성된 칩 타입 션트저항체의 전기적 특성

        We fabricated plate typed shunt resistors composed of carbon nanotube (CNT) and metal alloy for measuringDC current. CNT plates were prepared from dispersed CNT/Urethane solution by squeezing method. Cu/Ni alloys were prepared from composition-designed alloy wires for adjusting the temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) by pressing them. As well, we fabricated a hybrid resistor by squeezing the CNT/Urethane solution on the metal alloy plate directly. In order to confirm the composition ratio of the Cu/Ni alloy, we used an energy-dispersed X-ray spectroscopy (EDX). Cross-section and surface morphology were analyzed by using a scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Finally, we measured the initial resistance of 2.35 Ω at 25℃ for the CNT paper resistor, 7.56 mΩ for the alloy resistor, and 7.38 mΩ for the hybrid resistor. The TCR was also measured to be -778.72 ppm/℃ at the temperature range between 25℃ to 125℃ for the CNT paper resistor, 824.06 ppm/℃ for the alloy resistor, and 17.61 ppm/℃ for the hybrid resistor. Some of the hybrid resistors showed a near-zero TCR of 1.38, -2.77, 2.66, and 5.49 ppm/℃, which might be the world best-value ever reported. Consequently, we could expect an error-free measurement of the DC current using this resistor.

        Minimalism and Biolinguistics

        This paper explores an assumption that crucial aspects of language can be studied as part of the natural world in the sense of the biolinguistic approach. In an effort to establish what should be contained in the study of biolinguistics, Bird (2006) recently proposed that biolinguistics should adopt the research scope of experimental psycholinguistics rather than Chomsky's (2001b, 2004, 2005, 2006a,b) and Hauser, Chomsky, and Fitch's (2002) strongly biological-linguistic one. The present article maintains that while Bird's endeavor is still worth pursuing, the essence of research agenda is the one that Lee(2006) had, namely, a return to a research framework espoused by Chomsky (2001b, 2004, 2005, 2006a,b), Jenkins (2000, 2004) and the like, connecting biolinguistics to minimalism with focus on the aspects of principled explanation, computational efficiency, Merge, etc in accordance with the Strong Minimalist Thesis (SMT).

        Optimization of DB Server and Web Server to Enhance the Performance of ECM

        In order to develop ECM system, there are a number of methodologies. Adopting Microsoft's solution and methodology is one of them. ECM has a large number of users to save the documentations in various types of multimedia data. So, managing multimedia database is very critical in ECM. Therefore the unit and integration test to evaluate the performance can detect the flaws of the system early on, and it has to be enables to reflect the user's requirements thru the user acceptance test. In this paper, we are discussing how to optimize the SQL database before the ECM system is built and used in the real situation thru unit and integration tests.
