韓醫學的 診斷類型에 따른 韓藥方劑의 抗癌 및 免疫調節作用에 미치는 影響

연구배경 : 암은 사망의 주요한 원인이 되는 질환으로서, 우리나라에 있어서도 급격히 증가하는 추세이다. 한의학에서는 암의 유형을 크게 간울기체형, 기체혈어형, 비허습담형, 음허내열형 등으로 분류하고 있는데, 각 유형에 응용할 수 있는 소요산, 소복축어탕, 사군자탕, 육미지황탕의 항암효능을 비교 연구함으로써, 암치료에 대한 한약재의 임상활용도를 높이고자 함. 방법 : Mouse에 Sarcoma-180으로 복강암을 유발한 후, 약제를 21일 간 투여하고 생존율, T cell, B cell, 혈청항체가, IL-2 생산능, NK cell의 세포살상능을 측정하였다. 결과 : 생존기간의 연장효과는 모든군에서 증가하는 경향이 있었으나 유의성이 없었고, T cell 및 B cell은 모든군에서 증가하였으며, 임파구 증식반응 및 IL-2 생산능은 사군자탕과 육미지황탕에서, NK cell 활성도는 소복축어탕 엑기스 투여군에서 유의성이 있었다. 결론 : 이상으로 보아 이들 처방은 면역조절작용을 통한 항암효과가 있을 것으로 볼 수 있으며, 변증분형에 따라 처방을 달리해야 함을 알 수 있다. In order to investigate the effects of Formules according to Pattern Identification on anti-tumor and immunodulatory reaction to the ICR and C57BL/6 mice which have abdominal tumor after Sarcoma-180 cells were transplanted, the extracts of herbal medicines above mentioned were orally administered to the mice for 21 days to observe the extention of survial duration of the mice, quantitation of T cells and B cells, productivity of interleukin-2, lymphocytes transformation, hemagglutinin titer and hemolysin titer and activity of splenic natural killer cells. The results are summarized as follows ; 1. In the effect of life extention, all groups appeared to survive longer than the Control group, which are not meaningful. 2. Considering T cell and B cell content, all groups had a meaningful increase in both T cell and B cell (P<0.01). 3. Considering serum antibody titer was no significant difference between all groups. 4. In lymphocyte transformation marked a significant increase the sijunzitang-medicated mice group, marked a significant (P<0.01), and showed a significant increase the mice group medicated with Liuweidihuangtang (P<0.05). 5. As for the productivity of interleukin-2, showed a significant increase the mice group medicated with Sijunzitang ans Liuweidihuangtang (P<0.05). 6. In the effect of activity of NK cells, Shaofuzhuyutang-medicated mice group had a meaningful increase (P<0.05).
흰쥐에서의 카르복시메칠셀룰로오스나트륨과 겔란검 혼합겔의 유착방지 효과

The aim of the present study was to investigate the efficacy of a mixed gel formulation composed of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose and gellan gum (Na-CMC gel) for the prevention of adhesions after laminectomv. The anti-adhesive effect of the Na-CMC gel was tested in a controlled randomized study using an animal model of lumbar laminectomv. The animals (60 female Sprague-Dawlev rats) were randomly allocated into two treatment groups to receive the Na-CMC gel on the injured area or no gel (control). The incidence of adhesions and their grade were blindly evaluated at 4. 8 and 12 weeks after surgery. The amount of scar tissue and tenacity were grossly reduced by the Na-CMC gel at postoperative 4. 8. and 12 weeks. The mean adhesion scores were 0.75. 125. and 1.38 at 4. 8. and 12 weeks in the gel-treated group. respectively. No significant inflammatory reaction was observed and the healing of wound was not affected by the Na-CMC gel. The Na-CMC gel reduced the amount of scar formation and tenacity in rat laminectomv model without affecting the healing of operation wound and other complications. Therefore. the Na-CMC gel may be the potential to prevent postsurgical adhesions in clinical state.

The diagnostic requirements were suggested and explained regarding the systems of differentiation of symptoms and signs in the second year study of standardization and unification of the terms and conditions used for diagnosis in oriental medicine. The systems were as follows; - differential diagnosis according to condition of body fluid, differentiation of syndromes according to the state of qi and blood, differential diagnosis according to relative excessiveness or deficiency of yin and yang(氣血陰陽津液辨證) - differentiation of diseases according to pathological changes of the viscera and their interrelation - analyzing and differentiating of febrile diseases in accordance with the theory of the six channels(傷寒辨證) The individual diagnosis pattern was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name(異名), notion of diagnosis pattern, index of differentiation of symptoms and signs(辨證指標), the main point of diagnosis, analysis of diagnosis pattern(證候分析), discrimination of diagnosis pattern(證候鑑別), a way of curing a diseases(治法), prescription(處方), herb in common use(常用藥物), diseases appearing the diagnosis pattern(常見疾病), documents(文獻調査). This study was carried out on the basis of the Chinese documents and references.

Anthracnose severely occurred on begonia (Begonia semperflorens Link.) nurseries in Gyeongju, Gyeongbuk in July, 2004. More than 80% of begonia seedlings were diseased in the greenhouse surveyed and diseased leaves per plant were 12.1% in average. Yellowish spots occurred on the leaves of begonia as initial symptoms, and they coalesced irregularly to form large brown pleomorphic lesions. Severely infected leaves were defoliated, resulting in abnormal growth of the entire plant. Colletotrichum sp. was repeatedly isolated from the diseased plants and was identified as Colletotrichum acutatum on the basis of the mycological characteristics on potato dextrose agar and RAPD analysis. Pathogenicity of the fungus was also confirmed by artificial inoculation on healthy plants. The optimum temperature for mycelial growth of C. acutatum was around 25oC. The fungus was sensitive to azoxystrobin, bitertanol, diethofencarb-carbendazim, difenoconazole and tebuconazole. This is the first report on the anthracnose of begonia caused by C. acutatum in Korea.

<P>Cultivated soybeans [<I>Glycine</I><I>max</I> (L.) Merr.] have various flower colours such as dark purple, purple, light purple, pink, magenta, near white and white. About one-third of the soybean accessions in the United States Department of Agriculture - Germplasm Resource Information Network (USDA-GRIN) Soybean Germplasm Collections have white flowers and are the second dominant accessions after the purple-flowered accessions. Earlier studies have shown that the <I>w1</I> recessive allele of the <I>W1</I> gene encoding flavonoid 3′,5′-hydroxylase produces white flowers. In the present study, we aimed to understand why the white-flowered accessions have become abundant among the cultivated soybeans and what their genetic and regional origin is. For this purpose, 99 landraces with white flowers and 39 landraces with purple flowers from eight Asian countries and Russia were analysed with regard to the nucleotide sequences of the <I>W1</I> locus. We not only found that the <I>w1</I> alleles of the 99 white-flowered landraces were identical to those of the white-flowered Williams 82, but also found that these <I>w1</I> alleles displayed no polymorphism at all. By carrying out a phylogenetic analysis, we were able to identify a group with <I>W1</I> alleles from which the <I>w1</I> allele might have diverged.</P>

This paper presents an economic assessment of large-scale Li-ion battery energy storage systems applied to Korean power system. There are many applications of the battery energy storage systems (BESSs) and they can provide various benefits to power systems. We consider BESSs to the energy time-shift application to Korean power system and evaluate the benefits from the application of BESS in the social perspective. The mixed integer programming (MIP) algorithm is used to resolve the optimal operation schedule of the BESS. The social benefits can include the savings of the fuel cost from generating units, deferral effects of the generation capacity, delay of transmission and distribution infra construction, and incremental CO2 emission cost impacts, etc. The economic evaluation of the BESS is separately applied into Korean power systems of the Main-land and Jeju island to reflect the differences of the load and generation patterns.

<P>We reported previously that overexpression of a salicylic acid (SA) methyltransferase1 gene from rice (OsBSMT1) or a SA glucosyltransferase1 gene from Arabidopsis thaliana (AtSAGT1) leads to increased susceptibility to Pseudomonas syringae due to reduced SA levels. To further examine their roles in the defense responses, we assayed the transcript levels of AtBSMT1 or AtSAGT1 in plants with altered levels of SA and/or other defense components. These data showed that AtSAGT1 expression is regulated partially by SA, or non-expressor of pathogenesis related protein1, whereas AtBSMT1 expression was induced in SA-deficient mutant plants. In addition, we produced the transgenic Arabidopsis plants with RNAi-mediated inhibition of AtSAGT1 and isolated a null mutant of AtBSMT1 and then analyzed their phenotypes. A T-DNA insertion mutation in the AtBSMT1 resulted in reduced methyl salicylate (MeSA) levels upon P. syringae infection. However, accumulation of SA and glucosyl SA was similar in both the atbsmt1 and wild-type plants, indicating the presence of another SA methyltransferase or an alternative pathway for MeSA production. The AtSAGT1-RNAi line exhibited no altered phenotypes upon pathogen infection, compared to wild-type plants, suggesting that (an)other SA glucosyltransferase(s) in Arabidopsis plants may be important for the pathogenesis of P. syringae.</P>
