        Plant regeneration from callus of Iris odaesanensis Y. N. Lee native to Korea via organogenesis

        Iris odaesanensis Y. N. Lee. is an important endangered and native plant belonging to the family Iridaceae in Korea. This study describes a method for rapid micropropagation of this species via from leaf, rhizome and root explants derived calli. Leaf, rhizome and root explants were cultured on Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium supplemented with 2,4-dichlorophenoxy acetic acid (2,4-D) for callus induction. Rhizome explants yielded calli at a frequency of 72% when cultured at 1.0 mg/l 2,4-D. Calli were maintained at 1.0 mg/l 2,4-D. These calli were transferred to MS medium supplemented with 0, 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0 mg/l 2,4-D in combination with 0, 0.5, 1.0, and 3.0 mg/l BA for adventitious shoot induction. The highest number of adventitious shoot (228.9 per petri-dish) were formed at 1.0 mg/l 2,4-D and 1.0 mg/l BA. WPM medium was the best to convert calli into plantlets, where up to 98.2% of calli were regenerated into plantlets. This in vitro propagation protocol should be useful for conservation of this endangered plant.

      • 간호 학생의 임상실습 효율을 위한 기초 조사 연구

        임상실습 교육은 간호이론을 실무에 적용하는 기회를 제공하는 과정으로서 임상실습이 간호교육의 중요한비중을 차지하고 있다는 것은 주지의 사실이다. 이러한 중요성에도 불구하고, 임상실습 교육에 즉각적인 해결이 어려운 많은 문제점이 있음도 이미 알고 있는 사실이다 이에 임상실습 교육의 기초 자료로 활용되고 있는 실습목록표에 대한 간호 학생들의 실습목표의 명확한 이해와 더불어 이론과 실습의 연계성을 강화시키고자 하였다. 성인간호, 모성간호, 이동간호 3개 영역 모두에서 공통적으로 기본임상간호 항목이나 기본간호술과 관련된 항목에서 직접수행의 빈도가 높았고 숙련된 기술적인 처치나 전문성을 필요로 하는 항목에서는 관찰과 수행경험이 부족한 것으로 나타났다. Clinical performance is not only the process of providing the opportunity for applying nursing theory into practice but also it is a well-known fact that clinical performance is an important part in nursing education. lnspite of this importance, it is also true that many problem with no immediate solution exist in clinical performance of nursing students. thus, through measuring and analyzing the degree of clinical experience of the nursing students, on the nursing checklist that is being used as the basic guide in clinical education, we tried to clearly understand the objectives of clinical performance and to emphasize the connection between theory and clinical performance. The results of the study showed that the frequency of directly performing tasks was high in all areas of adult health nursing, maternity nursing, and child nursing for the items of basics clinical nursing and items related with basic nursing techniques, and that the experiences of observation and execution were lacking in the items needing skilled treatment or speciality.

        Dimethylnitrosamine 유발 급성 간 손상 흰쥐에서 ^(99m)Tc-Lactosylated Serum Albumin을 이용한 간 기능의 평가

        목적: ^(99m)Tc-lactosylated serum albumin (^(99m)Tc-LSA)은 간세포에 특이적으로 결합하는 간수용체 영상용 방사성의약품으로 새로이 합성되었다. 간섬유화를 유발하는 dimethylnitrosamine (DMN)을 투여한 간 손상 휜쥐 모델에서 ^(99m)Tc-LSa의 역동학적인 간섭취를 조사하고 간효소치의 변화와 조직학적 소견을 비교하여, LSA의 간섭취가 간기능의 변화를 반영하는지를 연구하였다. 대상 및 방법: SD계 흰쥐에 DMN를 27 mg/kg으로 복강 내 주사하여 급성 간손상을 유도하고 대조군과 비교하였다. DMN을 주사한 흰쥐를 3일(DMN-3), 8일(DMN-8), 21일(DMN-21)에 ^(99m)Tc=LSA (1,665 mg/kg) 29 MBq를 정맥 주사하여, 30분 동안 동적 영상을 획득하고 간과 신장부위에 관심영역을 설정하여 간과 심장부위의 시간방사능 곡선을 얻었다. 간기능 평가를 위해 시간방사능 곡선을 이용하여 간섭취지수와 혈중제거지수를 구하였고 곡선 최적화를 시행하였다. DMN 투여군과 대조군의 간효소치의 변화와 간조직의 광학현미경 소견을 비교하였다. 결과: 대조군에서는 ^(99m)Tc-LSA가 빠르게 간에 섭취되고 혈중에서 제거되었으나 DMN을 처리한 군에서는 간섭취가 낮았다. 간섭취지수의 비교에서 대조군에 비해 DMN 처리군에서 유의하게 간섭취지수가 낮았다(DMN-3: 0.842, DMN-8: 0.898, DMN-21: 0.91, 대조군: 0.96, p<0.05). 혈중제거지수의 비교에서도 대조군에 비해 DMN 처리군에서 혈중제거지수가 유의하게 높았다(DMN-3: 0.731, DMN-8: 0.654, DMN-21: 0.604, 대조군: 0.473, p<0.05). 비선형 회귀분석에서 R_(2) 값은 0.9이상으로 좋은 일치를 보였고, 대조군에ㅓ K값이 DMN처리군에 비해 크고(DMN-3: 0.28, DMN-8: 0.41, DMN-21: 0.46, 대조군: 0.97, p<0.05), T_(1/2)값은 작았다(DMN-3: 2.5, DMN-8: 1.7, DMN-21: 1.5, 대조군: 0.7, p<0.05). 간효소치의 변화는 DMN-3군에서는 대조군에 비해 상승하였으나 DMN-8, DMN-21군에서는 간효소치의 상승이 관찰되지 않았다. 간조직 소견의 경우 DMN-3군에서 중심정맥 주위에 괴사가 관찰되었으나 DMN-8군, DMN-21군에서는 미약한 정도의 염증세포 침윤만이 관찰되었다. 결론: ^(99m)Tc-LSA 간신티그래피의 간섭취 정도는 간손상과 반비례하였으며 간섭취의 변화는 조직학적 손상이 심한 정도와 간손상후 회복되는 과정을 반영하여 주었다. ^(99m)Tc-LSA 간신티그래피가 간손상을 평가하고 간손상후 회복되는 과정을 추적하는 간수용체 영상용 방사성 의약품으로 사용될 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. Objects: ^(99m)Tc-lactosylated human serum albumin(LSA) is a newly synthesized radiopharmaceutical that binds to asialoglycoprotein receptors, which are specifically presented on the hepatocyte membrane. Hepatic uptake and blood clearance of LSA were evaluated in rat with acute hepatic injury induced by dimethylnitrosamine(DMN) and results were compared with corresponding findings of liver enzyme profile and these of histologic changes. Materials and Methods: DMN (27 mg/kg) was injected intraperitoneally in Sprague-Dawley rat to induce acute hepatic injury. At 3(DMN-3), 8(DMN-8), and 21(DMN-21) days after injection of DMN, LSA injected intravenously, and dynamic images of the liver and heart were recorded for 30 minutes. Time-activity curves of the heart and liver were generated from regions of interest drawn over liver and heart area. Degree of hepatic uptake and blood clearance of LSA were evaluated with visual interpretation and semiquantitative analysis using parameters (receptor index : LHL3 and index of blood clearance : HH3), analysis of time-activity curve was also performed with curve fitting using Prism program. Results: Visual assessment of LSA images revealed decreased hepatic uptake in DMN treated rat, compared to control group. In semiquantitative analysis, LHL3 was significantly lower in DMN treated rat group than control rat group (DMN-3:0.842, DMN-8: 0.898, DMN-21: 0.91, Control: 0.96, p<0.05), whereas HH3 was significantly higher than control rat group (DMN-3: 0.731, DMN-8: 0.654, DMN-21: 0.604, Control: 0.473, p<0.05). AST and ALT were significantly higher in DMN-3 group than those of control group. Centrilobular necrosis and infiltration of inflammatory cells were most prominent in DMN-3 group, and were decreased over time. Conclusion: The degree of hepatic uptake of LSA was inversely correlated with liver transaminase and degree of histologic liver injury in rat with acute hepatic injury.

        Omental infarction, the end result of impaired perfusion to the greater omentum, is a rare benign self-limiting clinical entity. The main clinical symptom is non-specific localized abdominal pain with a moderately raised white blood cell and erythrocyte sedimentation rate. These findings often mimic an abdominal surgical emergency. This condition is often misdiagnosed as acute appendicitis or cholecystitis. The characteristic feature of CT scan and ultrasonography provide non-invasive diagnosis in most patients with omental infarction. We report a case of patient whose CT scan showed the characteristic finding of omental infarction. The patient was improved spontaneously only with conservative care.

        Bortezomib과 Dexamthasone으로 치료한 골수외 형질세포종 4예

        Despite the use of aggressive local and systemic treatment including autologous stem cell transplantation in multiple myeloma, extramedullary recurrences are common and the prognosis of these patients is poor. Many novel drugs such as thalidomide, lenalidomide and bortezomib improve the response of treatment of multiple myeloma, but some reports failed to describe thalidomide has effect in extramedullary plasmacytoma. Recent data report on the successful treatment plasmacytomas with bortezomib in patients with advanced multiple myeloma. We treated 4 relapsed or refractory extramedullary plasmacytomas with bortezomib at our institution. We recognized all these extramedullary plasmacytomas decreased and showed more than partial response. This report lends support to the efficacy of bortezomib in the treatment of plasmacytoma and describes the safe use of bortezomib. Responses may, however, be of short duration. Therefore, despite our limited experience, we propose that bortezomib may be considered a therapeutic option for such patients who have risk of radiation therapy

        임대료 지수에 의한 오피스 리모델링 항목별 중요도 산출에 관한 연구

        After a financial crisis in korea, appearance of financial products for real estate requires a valuation on real estate, accuracy for yield on investments, transparency in operating funds and objective appraisal on the outcome. The need of building remodeling has increased, the importance of estimation of economic efficiency in building remodeling has increased. This study is intended to investigate needing of remodeling sections for the building owner and remodeling constructor. In this context, this study is focused on the "evaluation method of economic efficiency in building remodeling". In addition, this development is accomplished through hedonic price model that has an advantage to turn out a rent index controlling a structural character of office building remodeling. This study shows how to choose the remodeling items for building owner and remodeling constructor. And the intention of this study is to support activating studies on evaluation method considering building occupants□ cognition in the application of Office Building Remodeling using weights in Partial Remodeling. Through this study, the flow of construction information is elevated reaching the level in advanced nation.

      • Durable Press 加工에 있어서 遊離포름알데히드의 捕捉效果

        This study was investigated on the effects of scavenger treatment for low formaldehyde release from durable press finished cotton fabrics using saturation pad method. And possibility of foam application in durable press cotton fabrics was investigated. Cotton cellulosic fabric was crosslinked with DMDHEU in the presence of magnesium chloride as a catalyst and polyhdroxy alcohols as a formaldehyde scavenger. Optimum concentration of formaldehyde scavengers on the durable press finished cotton fabrics were about 4%. Most favourable pH of the pad solution and wash water were about 5. The glycols and glycerol were the most effective formaldehyde scavenger. The glycol class of polyhydroxy alcohol is water soluble and is compatible and effective with crosslinking agent.

      • 제2형 당뇨병 여성환자들에게 있어서 운동이 혈당에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 제 2형 당뇨병 환자를 대상으로 Walking, Jogging, Walking +Jogging 운동을 실시했을 때의 혈당농도의 변화에 대하여 실험하였다. 이 실험에서 W군, J군, W+J군은 운동 10분 및 30분에서 안정시 보다 증가하였으나, 회복 10분 및 30분에서 W군과 J군은 감소한 반면, W+J군은 회복 10분과 30분에서 별 차이가 나타나지 않았으며, 측정시기에서 유의한 차이(p<.05)가 나타났으나, 운동유형과 측정시기에서는 상호작용효과가 나타나지 않았다. 이상의 연구결과를 종합해본 결과 당뇨병 환자를 대상으로 한 더 많은 운동유형을 대상으로 실시하여 폭넓은 연구가 이루어져야 할 것으로 사료된다. Experiment - Walking, Jogging, Walking + Jogging- to TypeⅡ Diabetic patient shows change of Blood Glucose. Based on the experiment, change of blood glucose of Ws, Js, W+J, exercise 10min, and exercise 30min shows increase tendency. However, blood glucose of Ws and Js of recovery 10min and recovery 30min shows decrease tendency. Blood glucose of recovery 10min and 30min shows no difference Even though, measurement point shows difference (P<.05), there is no relation between exercise type and measurement point. Considering analysis results, studies of various exercise type for the typeⅡ diabetic patients will be required for exercise therapy improvement.

      • Halobacterium sp. EH10 NADH dehydrogenase의 Na^+ 요구성

        국내 염전으로부터 분리한 고도 호염성세균인 Halobaterium sp. EH10의 세포내 효소의 활성을 조사한 결과 Lactate dehydrogenase는 완충액의 NaCl 농도가 5M인 포화용액일 때, 그리고 isocitrate dehydrogenase는 1M 부근에서 높은 활성을 나타냈다. 막결합효소인 NADH oxidase와 NADH dehydrogenase의 최적 활성 NaCl 농도는 2M이었고, 이들 막결합효소는 고농도의 Na 이온을 요구하였으며 최적활성 pH는 9였다. 또한 이들 효소는 Na , K , Li등의 양이온과 chloride, acetate sulfate등의 음이온에 의해서 활성화되었다. NADH oxidase의 Km값은 0.0526mM이었고 SDS와 Tween 80에 의해 효소의 활성이 증가되었다. Intracellular enzymes of an extreme halophilic bacterium, Halobacterium sp. HE10, isolated from a saltern in Korea was investigated. The membrane-bound enzyme, NADH dehydrogenase, involved in electron transport system was stimulated by the addition of 2.0 MNaCI. The respiratory exnzyme activities such as NADH oxidase and NADH dehydrogenase was decreased on removal of Na^+ ion and restored when replaced with cations like K^+ , Li^+ and NH_4^+ions. Furthermore, their activities were affected by the anions such like carbonate, acetate, sulfate, chloride and nitrate at the presence of Na^+ ion. Lactate dehydrogenase activity was highest at the saturated solution of NaCl and isocitrated dehydrogenase activity was a maximum level at 1.0 M NaCl. These results suggested that the enzyme activities of the respiratory chain in Halobacterium sp. EH10 was stimulated by the presence of Na^+ ion.
