      • 혈액투석중인 만성신부전 환자에서 골대사 지표로써의 Osteocalcin치

        Background : Serum osteocalcin is synthesized by osteoblast and has been shown to be sensitive indicator of bone turnover inpatients with various metabolic bone disease. In renal osteodystrophy, serum osteocalcin is elevated due to decreased renal clearance and elevated level of PTH. This study was done to evaluate the usefulness of serum osteocalcin as a marker of bone metabolism and the correlation with other biochemical markers of bone metabolism. Methods : We measured serum osteocalcin, calcium, phosphorus, ALP(alkaline phosphatase) and PTH(parathyroid hormone) in 37 patients with end stage renal disease on hemodialysis. Osteocalcin was determined by radioimmunoassay and PTH was determined by radioimmunometric assay. Results : 1) The mean level of serum osteocalcin in ESRD patients was 233.8± 218.2ng/ml which was significantly higher than that of controls(p<0.0001). 2) The mean level of serum PTH in ESRD patients was 40.5± 43.8pg/ml was significantly higher than that of controls(p<0.005). 3) There was a significant positive correlation between the level of serum PTH, ALP and the level of serum osteocalcin in ESRD patients. 4) By using multiple regression, PTH is most reliable factor that affect to elevated level of serum osteocalcin ( beta coefficient = 0.687, Sig T<0.05). Conclusion : Serum osteocalcin as a marker of bone metabolism in ESRD patients is more useful than other biochemical marker such as serum calcium, phosphorus, ALP and PTH is a most reliable factor that affect to elevated level of serum osteocalin.

        국내 지역에서 대부분의 자연 연약점토는 약간 또는 매우 과압밀된 상태를 갖고 있다. 이러한 연약한 지반에 제방을 건설하기 위해서는 지반의 지지력이 결정되어야 하며, 응력이력에 따른 비배수 전단강도는 단계하중재하시 재방의 단계성토고와 안정성을 분석함에 매우 중요하게 하다. 이러한 점에서 한계상태이론의 Cam-clay 이론은 정규압밀과 과압밀된 점토지반의 비배 수 전단강도를 예측함에 있어 합리적인 결과를 주며, 비등방조건에서 비배수 전단강도의 예측 은 실내삼축시험과 잘일치하고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 MCCM 이론의 적용성을 국내 저소성 실트질 점토를 블록 샘플링하여 실내 등방 및 비등방 시험을 실시하여 검증하였으며, 과거 여러 지역에서 연구된 결과들과 비교하여 재분석하였다.

        Microstructure of glass-forming mold have influence on the mechanical properties such as hardness, and life span of the glass-forming mold is strongly dependent on its microstructure. The glass-forming mold with guaranteed tool life requires fine particle size and homogeneous distribution of Cr precipitates in the matrix. In this study, mechanism on the crack creation of the glass-forming mold made in Korea (K-mold) was compared to the one glass-forming mold made in Japan (J-mold). SEM observation revealed that the particle size of the Cr precipitates in J-mold was smaller than that in K-mold, in addition the size distribution of J-mold was narrower than that of K-mold, resulting in long life of J-mold. Therefore, it was confirmed that the microstructure of the glass-forming mold related to Cr precipitates was one of the important parameters to improve the quality of products.

        In recent years, the projects dealing with the marine clay have raising tendency. For example, the dredged clay can be used directly as the reclamation fill material. In this case, it is important to understand the consolidation characteristics for settlement analysis. Using conventional testing procedure, the determination of the consolidation characteris tics of cohesive soils requires consolidation time. the constant rate of strain consolidation test has been proposed as a method to reduce consolidation test time. The information used to the characteristics of settlement has been obtained using a standard oedometer test, but standard oedometer test may not be applicable to very soft soils with high water content because of limations both in theory and in testing techniques. A new constant rate of strain consolidation testing technique for very soft soils with water content of 200 to 500 % is proposed as an alternative of conventioinal oedometer test. This paper presents several benifts on the constant rate of strain consolidation test. To find the consolidation characteristics of the dredged soft clay constant-rate-of-strain consolidation testing method is used In this paper constant rate of strain consolidation test are compared with standard oedometer test for applicablity of constant rate of strain consolidation test It is concluded that the consolidation constants of very soft clays can be accurately determined from the constant rate of strain tests,also is suitable test of derdged clays as this test is applicable to regimes of the low stress level and high stress level

      • 眞空壓密工法의 適用에 관한 實驗的 硏究 및 數値解析

        In the process of designing and building structure on soft soils, or when foundation distress of failure of encountered, engineers need to consider whether the soil properties can be economically improved. We need to be familiar with the means of each method. There are many methods available for the improvement of the engineering properties of soft clays. But most of thses methods are used in special case except preloading method. The preloading method is well known method currently in widespread use and it is large amount of work, long period for consolidation and high unit proce. But in the case of the vaccum method are no problems of embankment stability to consider and it eliminates the need for backfill material which is usually expensive and often unavailable, the installation and removal of the means of applying the preload are readliy accomplished. The purpose of this study is to grasp mechanical characteristics of dredged soft clay and fundamental vaccum consolidation theory. The results of the vaccum consolidation experiment are evaluated and compared based on settlement, strength, water content, wet density, as well as pore pressure etc. according to several initial condition.

        The structure of sodium trans-bis(methyliminodiacetato) chromate(Ⅲ), C_10H_14O_8N_2CrNa, has been elucidated with two space groups P 1-; a=8.9856(6), b=13.308(1), c=6.261(1)Å, α=76.38(1), β=110.361(9), r=107.394(6)˚, V=662(2)Å^3, Z=2, μ=0.47mn^(-1), d=1.831Mg/㎥, R=0.0295 for 1901 independent reflections with F^2>2σ(F^2), and A2/n; a=13.65(5), b=6.261(1), c=16.85(6)Å, β=113.05(1)˚, V=1324(7)Å^3, Z=4, R=0.0287 for 1013 independent reflections with F^2>2σ(F^2). There are two different asymmetric half molecules in triclinic system and one asymmetric half molecule in monoclinic system. The structures of three different molecules are very similar in conformations. The four carboxyl O atoms and the two imino N atoms in each molecule produce a distorted octahedral coordination geometry around the Cr atom. The average distances of Cr-O(carboxyl) and Cr-N(imino) are 1.956 and 2.061Å respectively. Molecules are held together by ionic forces. In this paper, it has been also shown that the cell constants, Miller indices, atomic coordinates, lattice directions and reciprocal lattices of the two space groups can be mutually transformed.

        환자이탈군 특성요인과 이탈환자 예측모형에 관한 연구

        Background : We developed a model for predicting premature discharge and identifying related factors. Methods : Prediction model was developed by data mining techniques. Basic data were collected from the total discharge data base of a university hospitals in Chungnam province during the period from July 1, 1999 to June 30, 2000. Results : 1. Among 22,873 patients, the number of patients discharge with usual discharge orders were 21,695 or 94.8%. The number of the prematurely discharged patients were 1,178 or 5.2%. 2. The primary reason for unusal discharge was transfer to other hospital. Move to a local hospital closer to their home and burdensome medical expenses were main reasons. 3. Predictability of each model was tested using the top 10 percent of patients with the highest probabilities of premature discharge. The neural network model was chosen as the most appropriate model for predicting prematurely discharged patients. 4. Ten percent of the total number of patients had been selected randomly to test the effectiveness of the neural network model. We have chosen the threshold of the neural network model as 0.7. The number of patients who were expected to discharge prematurely was 312. Among them, 241 had been discharged prematurely(77.2%). Conclusion : of the several data mining techniques used, the neural network model was the most effective, It can be used to identify and manage the patients who are expected to discharge prematurely.

      • AR기법을 이용한 SLAM 영상 개선

        In this paper, we have been studied the enhancement of SLAM image using average response methos. AR methos has been used to reduce the random noise in signal processing. In this the experiment, we have constructed the SLAM system of 10㎒ operating frequency and experienced for holed Al sample. In this experimental result, we have been found that SLAM using AR method was able to get the high-speed and enhanced image compared with SAM.

      • 부유대역 용융응고법으로 제조된 YBa_2Cu_3O_x 산화물초전도체의 미세구조와 전기적 특성

        The YBa_2Cu_3O_x-20 wt% Y_2BaCuO_5 composition designed in YBCO system was synthesized by solid state reaction method. The optimum condition of hot zone temperature and growth rate in floating-zone melt were 1080 ℃ and 2.5 mm/hour, respectively. In samples growth as these condition, the low angel boundaries in grain direction and small amount of amorphous phase known as decreasing characteristics of superconducting materials between grain boundaries in microstructure are investigated by polarized light microscopy on the whole. The critical current density(Jc) at 77k of sample using powder fabricated with no CeO_2 and doped 5 wt%CeO_2 were 8,000 A/㎠(Jc : 561A) and 12,000 A/㎠(Jc: 826A) at 0 T by direct current transport method, respectively.

        여성 알코올 의존 환자의 임상적 특성에 관한 연구 : - 일 정신병원 입원환자를 중심으로 -

        연구목적: 남. 여 알코올의존 환자의 인구통계학적 특성, 음주력, 가족력, 음주양상, 음주동기, 공유질병 등을 포함하는 임상적 특성의 차이 및 여성 알코올의존에 대한 질병양상과 그 가족의 태도를 파악함으로써 향후 여성 알코올의존 환자의 치료 대책수립을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 방 법: 1991년 1월1일부터 1996년 5월31일까지 일 정신병원에 입원 치료한 남. 여 각각 51명의 알코올의존 환자를 연구대상으로 하였으며, 연구방법으로 병력기록지 및 설문지 조사를 통한 자료 수집을 이용하였다. 양군간의 비교를 위해 남. 여 인원 및 나이를 통제하였고, 여성 알코올의존자의 평균 연령은 44.45±11.02세였고 남성 환자군의 평균 연령은 44.17±10.08이었다. 진단은 DSM-Ⅲ-R에 의해 이루어졌으며 대상자 모두는 알코올 의존의 진단기준을 만족하였다. 결 과: 여성 알코올의존자는 남성 알코올의존자에 비해 음주시작 연령이 늦었고 과거 음주기간은 짧았으며 일 음주량이 적었다. 그리고 여성 알코올의존자는 남성 알코올의존자에 비해 자발적 입원이 많았으며 입원후 금단증상, 알코올성 간염, 당뇨등 신체적 합병증이 적었다. 또한, 입원후 가족의 태도에서 가족의 이혼위협 등 치료에 비협조적인 경우가 남성 알코올의존자에 비해 많았으며, 과거력상 사별, 이혼, 남편의 구타 등 상실의 경험이 많았다. 결 론: 남. 여 알코올의존자간에 인구통계학적 특성, 임상 특성, 가족의 태도 등 여러가지 면에서 차이가 나는 것으로 나타났다. 여성 알코올의존자 집단은 가족의 죽음, 부부생활의 갈등과 같은 심리 사회적 좌절 경험이 더 많고 가족들이 더 비협조적이었다. 그러므로 치료자는 이러한 여성알코올의존자의 특성을 치료와 예방에 반영하고 이들에 대한 세심한 배려를 해야할 것이다. Objectives: This study aimed to provide a basic data of female alcoholics by understanding the gender differences of the clinical characteristics including demographic characteristics, alcoholic history, family history, drinking patterns, reasons for drinking, and comorbidity in male and female alcoholics. It also ained to establish the therapeutic plans through understanding the patterns of disease and the patterns of family cooperation in female alcoholics. Methods: The study subjects consisted of 51 male and female alcoholics admitted to a mental hospital from January 1, 1991 to May 31, 1996. Subjects were age-and sex-matched. We reviewed patients charts and administered questionaires. Mean age of female alcoholics was 44.45±11.02 years and that of male alcoholics was 44.17±10.08 years. All male and female patients met with the DSM-Ⅲ-R criteria of alcohol dependence. Results: Female alcoholics were later in drinking-onset age, and to had shorter duration of previous drinking history and less average amount of daily drinking than male alcoholics. And female alcoholics were found to seek treatment more voluntarily, and to have less frequent delirium tremens after admission and less medical complications such as hepatitis and diabetes mellitus. Also female alcoholics had more frustration experiences of separation such as death of family member, divorce, and husband`s physical abuse. Female alcoholic`s families had more uncooperative attitude toward treatment such as threat to divorce after admission. Conclusions: There were many differences between male and female alcoholics of demographic characteristics, clinical characteristics, and patterns of family cooperation. Female alcoholics were found to have more experiences of psychosocial frustration including death of family member and marital conflicts, and more uncooperative attitude of her family members. Therefore, it is required that therapists consider the characteristics of female alcoholics upon treatment and prevention, and have more concern about female alcoholics.
