        Three compartment stool tank system was established in March, 1965 to each of the houses . of Yongheungri, Cheju-do. The trend of parasites prevalence, faithfulness of the people to paractice the system and effectiveness of the system for destruction of ascaris eggs were examined. 1. Only 22 houses among 65 utilized the system for 3 years. The remained 43, gave up to practice; 10 because of the destruction of the cemented tank and 33 due to the shortage of. food stuffs, for hogs. In this island, the people have been raised hogs with human excrets. 2. The prevalence of ascaris infection in the village and in Sinwom-ri, a control village where the human feces were used as food stuffs for hog, were as follows: Yongheung(%) Sinwom(%) March 1965 before medication 52.0 43.0 Dec. 1965 after medication 15.1 21.2 Feb. 1968 22.7 30.8 3. Ascaris eggs in the 3rd compartment, were destroyed 94-100%, whereas the eggs in semi-formed feces in hog sty survived 94%.

      • 하이퍼큐브 네트워크에서 안전벡터를 이용한 우회경로설정 알고리즘

        이 논문에서는 안전벡터 개념을 이용하여 큐브기반 멀티컴퓨터에서 신뢰할 만한 통신기법을 제안한다. n차원 멀티컴퓨터의 각 노드는 n비트의 안전벡터를 가지고 있으며, 이 안전벡터를 이용하여 이웃노드의 결함상태를 측정할 수 있다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 안전벡터를 사용하여 기존의 실시간 주채널과 서로 다른 우회경로를 설정하는 알고리즘이다. In this paper, reliable communication in cube-based multicomputers using the safety vector concept is proposed. Each node in a cube-based n dimensional multicomputer is associated with a safety vector of a n bits, which is an approximated measure of the number and distribution of faults in the neighborhood. We propose the algorithms that can establish retours using the safety vector concept. The established retours is disjoint with primary real-time channel.

      • 쥐노래미 Hexagrammos otakii의 난소 발달단계에 따른 간세포의 활성변화

        암컷 쥐노래미(Hexagrammos otakii)의 생식소중량지수(GSI)는 9월에 증가되기 시작하여 11월에 최대에 도달하였다. 쥐노래미의 생식주기는 연속적인 5단계로 나눌 수 있었다: 성장전기(7월), 성장후기(7~8월), 성숙기(9~10월), 완숙 및 산란기(9~12월), 회복 및 휴지기(12~6월). 간중량지수(HSI)의 월변화는 GSI변화와 유사한 경향을 보였다. 성장전기에 다량의 지방적과 글리코겐 입자들이 간세포내에 존재하였다. 특히, 이 시기에 간세포는 헤마톡실린에 약하게 염색되었다. 성장후기부터 성숙기에 간세포의 크기는 증대되었으며 간세포질내 글리코겐과 지방적들의 양은 감소된 반면, 호염기성 물질 축적이 증가하였다. 산란기부터 회복 및 휴지기에는 간세포내에 호염기성 물질 축적이 감소된 반면, 다량의 지방적과 글리코겐입자가 축적되었다. 간세포내의 총단백질, 총지질 및 글리코겐함량(%)의 최대값은 각각 9월(성숙기), 7월(성장전기), 3월(휴지기)에 나타났다. The GSI in the female greenling Hexagrammos otakii, began to increase in September and reached a maximum in November. The reproductive cycle of the greenling can be divided into five successive stage: early-growing stage(July), late- growing stage(July to August), mature stage(September to October), ripe-and-spent stages(September to December), and recovery-and-resting stages(December to June). Monthly changes in the HSI showed a similar pattern with those of the GSI. In the early- growing stage, a lot of lipid droplets, and glycogen particles were present in the cytoplasm of hepatocytes. Especially, the cytoplasm of hepatocytes were weakly stained with hematoxylin. In the late- growing to mature stage, hepatocytes became large, and the amount of glycogen and lipid droplets in hepatocytes gradually decreased, while basophilic substance increased. In the spawning to recovery-and-resting stages, basophilic substances decreased in the cytoplasm of hepatocytes. However, lots of lipid droplets and glycogen were stored in the hepatocytes. The maxium total protein, lipid and glycogen contents(%) in the hepatocytes appeared in September(mature stage), July(early-growing stage) and March(resting stage), respectively.

      • 광주시내 업종별 음식점의 위생상태 및 식중독원인 세균의 분포 특성

        업종별 음식점 주방의 위생상태는 일식>중식>한식의 순이었고 개인위생의 경우는 일식>한식>중식의 순이었는데 주방 및 종업원의 위생상태를 향상시키기 위해서는 음식점 규모의 대형화, 45℃ 이상의 온수공급, 주방시설의 표준화, 위생비닐장갑의 착용, 및 유니폼 착용이 신속하게 이루어져야 할 것이다. 업종별 대중음식점의 주방기구중의 세균분포는 전반적으로 일반세균수가 높게 나타났고 특히 대장균군수가 높게 나타났는데 음식물이 아니고 조리기구이긴 하지만 우리 음식점의 위생상 문제가 많은 것으로 생각된다. 미국 육군 Natick연구소가 제시한 음식물의 미생물 기준한계인 1 ×10??마리 이하, 대장균수가 100마리 이하와 비교할때 일반세균수의 경우는 아주 만족할만한 위생상태로 평가되었으나 대장균수는 개숫물의 경우 업종과 관계없이 높게 나타났고 행주와 칼의 경우 일식음식점에서만 높게 나타났으며 도마의 경우는 모두 100마리 이하로 양호한 위생상태로 평가되었다. 한식 전문음식점간의 세균수가 큰 차이를 보인 것은 규모와 운영방법이 서로 다르기 때문으로 앞으로 한식음식점에 대한 시설 및 환경개선에 대한 노력이 요구되었다. 또한 일식음식점간에는 일반세균수의 분포가 크게 다는 것으로 조사되었는데 특히 개숫물, 행주 및 도마중에 존재하는 미생물수가 크게 차이가 있었다. 등급별 한식음식점의 세균분포는 호텔급 음식점> 일반대중급 음식점> 여관급 음식점의 순으로 나타나 업소규모가 클수록 위생시설 및 위생습관의 수준이 높아 위생상태가 양호한 것으로 분석되었고 여관급음식점의 경우 위생상태가 낮은 것은 이용빈도가 낮은 것이 그 원인이 아닌가 생각되었다. Sanitary evaluation of kitchen area in different types of restaurants was the best at Japanese style restaurants and the worst aat Korean style restaurants. In personal hygiene Japanese style restaurant were evaluated as the best, but Chinese style restaurants were evaluated as the worst. Total and coliform bacterial counts were mostly showed high levels at all types of restaurants and especially this tendency was predominated in coliform counts. As compared to the standards suggested by U.S. Army Natick, however, total bacterial counts in all of supplies were evaluated as the satisfactory state. On the other hand, coliform counts in dish-washing water were much higher than the standard, which were not affected by the types of restaurant, and Japanese style restaurants were higher in wiping cloths and knives, but cutting boards were evaluated as satisfactory state with the counts less than 1.0 ×10².Bacterial counts in Korean style restaurants were greatly different depended on the size or type of restaurant. Total bacterial counts in Japanese style were also different among restaurants, especially in dish-washing water, wiping cloths, and cutting boards. According to the results of the evaluation of Korean style restaurant, bacterial distribution based on the class of restaurants, classified as hotel, motel, and public classes, hotel class restaurants showed lower levels of bacterial counts than public class. This result suggested that the larger and higher classes of restaurants maintained the satisfactory state without potential hazards.

        레진강화형 글라스아이오노머의 2 축 굽힘강도

        Resin-modified glass ionomers were introduced in 1988 to overcome the problems of moisture sensitivity and low early mechanical strengths of the conventional glass ionomers, and to maintain their clinical advantages. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the bi-axial fracture strength of four resin-modified glass-ionomers(Fuji II LC, Vitremer, Dyract, VstiGlass), one resin composite material(Z-100), and one conventional glass-ionomer(Fuji II). Three specimens of each material and shade combination were made according to the manufacturers' instructions. Materials were condensed into metal mold with a diameter of 10mm and a thickness of 2.0mm and pressed between two glass plates. Resin-modified glass ionomers were polymerized using a Visilux II light curing unit by irradiating for 60 seconds from both sides, and conventional glass ionomer was cured chemically. After specimens were removed from the molds, surfaces were polished sequentially on wet sandpapers up to No. 699 silicone carbide paper. The specimens were thermocycled for 2,000 cycles between 5℃ and 55℃ distilled water. After thermocycling, bi-axial fracture strengths were measured using a compressive-tensile tester(Zwick 1456 Z020, Germany) with the cross head speed of 0.5mm/minute. The results were as follows: 1. Two factors of the kind and color of materials had a main effect on bi-axial fracture strength (p<0.01), and bi-axial fracture strength was influenced significantly by the kinds of materials (p<0.01). But there was no significant interaction between two variables of the kind and color of materials (p>0.05). 2. Comparing the mechanical properties of the materials, the elastic modulus of Z100 was higher than any other material, and there was no difference in the displacement at fracture among materials. The bi-axial fracture strength of Z100 was significantly higher than any other material, and that of resin-modified glass ionomers was significantly higher than that of conventional glass ionomer (p<0.05). 3. In the same material group, the color of material had little influence on the mechanical properties.

      • 자체정열 방법을 이용한 GR(Gate-Recessed) SOI

        SOI(Silicon-On-Insulator)소자는 집적도의 향상, 단채널 효과의 감소, 임계전압 이하에서 기울기 향상, 높은 이동도, latch-up 제거 등의 우수한 이점을 제공한다. 그러나 SOI소자는 current kink와 early breakdown과 같은 floating-body effect를 나타낸다. Floating-body effect를 줄이기 위해 fully depleted SOI를 사용해야 하나 면저항이 크기 때문에 GR(gate-recessed) SOI가 제안되었다. GR SOI는 floating-body effect와 면저항을 줄일 수 있지만 공정상 복잡성이 따른다. 이 논문에서는 self-alignment method를 이용한 GR SOI 를 제안하여 이러한 문제를 해결하였다. 제안되 구조를 시뮬레이션한 결과 드레인 전류의 크기 향상, floating-body effect제거를 위한 imapct-ionization current를 감소시킬 수 있었다. SOI(Silicon-On-Insulator) devices offer unique advantages such as reduction in short channel effects, improvement of subthreshold slope, higher mobility, latch-up free nature and so on. But these devices have two problems; floating-body effect causing current kink and early breakdown effect. Fully depleted SOI reduces floating-body effect, but it increases sheet resistances. So gate-recessed SOI is proposed. Gate-recessed SOI can reduce sheet resistance and floating-body effect, but is processing step are complicated. In this paper, gate-recessed SOI using selt-alignment method is proposed to solve the above problems. Proposed structure improved drain current level, decreased sheep resistances of sourcd/drain regions and impact ionization current for removal floating-body effect

      • 광주시내 업종별 음식점의 주방기구와 관련된 주요 세균 및 이들의 계절별 변화

        업종별 음식점에서 사용중인 주방기구 가운데 개숫물중에 존재하는 세균들을 분리·동정한 결과, 한색음식점에서 37균주, 일식음식점에서 23균주, 및 중식음식점에서 33균주가 분리되었고 이들 중 한식음식점에서 E. coli 등 16균주, 일식음식점에서 Listeria sp. 등 20균주, 중식음식점에서 Micrococcus sp. 등 15균주를 각각 동정하였다. 이들 세균들은 업종별 음식업소에서 주로 사용되는 색품재료에 존재하는 세균들과 밀접한 관계가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌고 E.coli와 같은 일부 세균들은 주방의 불결한 환경이나 종사자로부터 오염된 것으로 추정되었다. 업종별 음식점에서 사용중인 개숫물, 행주, 칼, 및 도마에 존재하는 세균의 분포는 일반세균수 및 대장균수가 모두 2월에서 8월까지 점점 증가하다가 11월에는 다시 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 특히 이같은 경향은 일반세균은 개숫물에서 대장균군은 칼에서 가장 뚜렷하게 나타났다. 따라서 식중독 발생 가능성이 가장 높은 여름철에는 칼, 도마 등 주방기구들은 정기적으로 열탕소독하는 철저한 위생처리가 필수적인 것으로 생각되었다. Thirty-seven, twenty-three, and thirty-three bacterial strains were isolated from dish-washing water which was selected as a kitchen supply commonly loaded the highest level of bacteria among various supplies using at Korean style, Japanese style, and Chinese style restaurants. Among these isolates, sixteen strains including Esherichia coli, twenty strains including Listeria sp., and fifteen strains including Micrococcus sp. were identified from Korean style, Japanese style, and Chinese style restaurants, respectively. This result suggested that most isolated bacteria were closely related to bacterial flora of raw food materials used in each style of restaurants and others could be contaminated from the surrounding environment and the employees. Total and coliform bacterial counts distributed in dish washing water, wiping cloths, knives, and cutting boards used at different types of restaurants were gradually increased from February to August and then decreased until November. This changing tendencies of total bacterial counts and coliform group counts were obvious in dish-washing water and in knives, respectively. Therefore, kitchen supplies such as wiping cloths, cutting boards, and knives should be treated carefully with hot water of above 45℃ at every certain period of time to kill some of these potential hazardous bacteria and to prevent outbreaking foodborne-illness by them, especially during Summer.

        An infant with the rare syndrome of congenital agranulocytosis, eosinophilia, and recurrent infections is reported. Death resulted from overwhelming pneumonia .at the age of 18 months. No cause for hematologic abnormality was found. -Provocation tests utilizing, typhoid vaccine and buffy coat of chronic myelocytic leukemia yielded no alteration in the differential counts of leukocytes.
