서부경남 재래시장을 대상으로한 유전자 재조합 대두의 모니터링

The objective of this study was monitoring of genetically modified soybean by PCR and ELISA. We collected 60 soybean samples from the open markets located in Western Gyeongnam (Sacheon, Hamyang, Hadong, Sanchung, Uiryung, Geochang, and Hapcheon). A total of 60 soybeans was examined and 14 genetical modified soybean (GMS) were detected by PCR. The GMS rate of selling soybean in Uiryung, Hadong, Sacheon, and Hapcheon was 50.0%, 37.5%, 33.3% and 25%, respectively. The 7 of 14 GMSs were positive by ELISA and most of positive samples were below 3% GMS but 1 (Uiryung 1) of the positive samples was over the 3% which is maximum permit limit in Korea. These results mean that merchants of open market did not express for selling soybean mixed with GMS, so consumers did not recognize GMO. Therefore, we thought that education of GMO for merchant of open market need to recognize about GMO maximum permit limit.
샌드위치 제조사업장에서 분리된 병원성세균에 대한 항생제 내성 검사

The Collected 70 samples from 5 sandwich shops were analysed for the pathogenic bacteria such as Escherichia coli O157:H7, Salmonella spp., Listeria monocytogenes, and Staphylococcus aureus. As a result of Listeria monocytogenes and Saphylococcus aureus were detected in 1 sample, 11 samples, respectively. However, Escherichia coli O157:H7 and Salmonella spp. were not detected in anywhere. The antibiotics test of isolated bacteria was performed by the disk diffusion method from NCCLS. The resistance rate of Listeria monocytogenes isolates was confirmed 38.5% to 10 species such as Am, B, P, and Va for antibiotics of 26 species. MRSA was determinated 4 strains in Staphylococcus aureus isolates. The resistance pattern of Staphylococcus aureus isolates were confirmed 36.4% to P·Am·OX·B·K·E·CXM, 18.2% to P·Am·B·K·E·CXM·B, 9.1% to P·Am·B·K, 27.3% to P·Am·B, and 9.1% to Te·B·Nb. Therefore, continuous surveillance and monitoring for antibiotic resistance strains are demanded for prevention of increases in multiple antibiotic resistance strains.
매립가스내 규소화합물류 검출을 위한 용매선택에 관한 연구

본 연구는 매립가스내 siloxanes 측정의 기초 연구로서 국내 매립지를 대상으로 하여 용매흡수법으로서의 최적 용매를 선정하고자 수행하였으며, n-hexane, acetone 및 methanol을 흡수용매로 하여 각 용매의 siloxanes 검출 특성을 비교 분석하였다. 연구결과 표준물질의 GC분석에서 사용된 3가지 흡수용매 중 methanol이 용매와 silane 피크의 겹침현상이 발생하지 않아 분리능이 가장 우수하게 나타났다. 검출되는 siloxanes 농도는 흡수용매에 따라 최대 2.6배의 농도차를 보였으며, 포집유속과 포집 임핀저 단수에 대한의존성에 대해서도 높은 것으로 나타났다. Methanol은 siloxanes 총 농도가 가장 높을 뿐만 아니라 휘발성이 적어 임핀저 단별 흡수에서도 가장 이상적인 형태를 보여주었으며, 가장 낮은 상대표준편차를 나타내 실험대상 매립지에 가장 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 용매의 적합성은 매립지의 쓰레기 성상, 매립이력에 따라 다를 수 있다고 판단된다. As a preliminary measurement of siloxanes in landfill gas(LFG), this study was conducted to determine the best suitable solvent applicable to the extraction of siloxanes in the domestic landfill using liquid-absorption method. Three solvents of n-hexane, acetone, and methanol were tested and the results obtained from GC analysis for each solvent were compared to their properties. Results showed that the resolution in the GC spectrum was the best from methanol due to the lack of overlapping of the peaks between silane and solvent. The detected siloxanes concentration were varied at maximum 2.6 times depending on the types of solvent as well as extraction velocity and impinger steps. In total, the highest concentration of siloxanes was obtained from methanol, which showed ideal pattern in the absorption of each impinger step and the least relative standard deviation. Accordingly, it is concluded that methanol is the most suitable solvent for the extraction of siloxanes in the domestic landfill. However, it is considered that solvent suitability can vary depending on the waste components and landfill record in landfills.
